OBO was a nice surprise! We had lunch for 2 on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't busy so the pizza was cooked quickly. All the ingredients were fresh, the toppings and cheese were plentiful. The medium was just enough for 2 people (6 small slices). We also had fries and buffalo wings. The fries were nothing to rave about, but they were hot and there were plenty of them. The buffalo wings were cooked fresh to order. The sauce was tangy and spicy. All in cost for our lunch experience $26 (this includes drinks). We will be back to try this place again.

I love a good pizza. I've been thinking about trying this spot for awhile, but didn't want to risk the disappointment of a bad pizza, so I just stuck with my regulars. But on this day, I thought, why not give it a try, it's brick oven, how bad could it be. Well walking into the restaurant, my first impression was, ok it seems very clean. You can see the big brick oven right when you come in the door. There were stands filled with small bags of chips, a refrigerator to the side with bottled beverages, and a small dining area with a couple of tables and chairs for customers. There were a lot of items on the menu, so I asked a couple of questions to get clarity on a few things, and then I placed my order for a small personal dionysius pizza. The cashier told me it should be ready in about 10 minutes, so I took a seat and waited in the dining area. Within 10 minutes, what do you know, the cashier was bringing my pizza over to the table. When I opened the box, I was initially very pleased, looked like a good pizza. Well, this is where disappointment sets in. The crust was ok, it definitely had the brick oven flavor; however the pizza was bland....flavorless...nooooo!!! I was so looking forward to this. There was minimal sauce and with all of the toppings on the pizza you would think there would be an abundant amout flavor but there wasn't. All I tasted were the mushrooms. I tried to add some parmesan cheese and crushed red peppers, but that didn't help at all. SMH, I was so disappointed. I won't be returning :-(

The pizza is a little pricey, but the quality is so much better than any other pizza place in the area. I'd equate it to places in Old Town Alexandria that charge twice the price. The ingredients are awesome and the taste is above and beyond what you'd expect.

The pizza is very good, but it is a little pricey. They have a lot of topping options!

I ordered delivery online. It was very easy and user-friendly. Had the Greek pizza - delicious although a bit salty for my taste

Quality ingredients (the owner buys fresh, high quality ingredients daily), nothing out of a can, and real love put into the food = AWESOME. I've had their subs, pizzas (the Dionysus is my fav), cakes and salads. Everything has always been top notch. They have a special blend of cheese and very high quality meats that make their pizzas explode with flavor. Add to that the brick oven toastiness...yum! Try it, you'll like it!

First few times we ordered from here the pizza was really good. The last couple.. not so much. In face the last time we ordered I could have swore that the driver stopped and bought a hot and ready from little caesars and put it in one of their boxes on the way to deliver it. Haven't eaten there since.

Very good pizza. The sauce and cheese taste fresh and they don't skimp on their toppings. Friendly service. On the pricey side but it's well worth it. They opened a 2nd location in Indian Head and I hear that one is just as popular. Every time you order, they give you a magnetic pizza slice. Once you have a full "pizza" you get one pizza free. Yay!

So I'm not much of a review writer, but when I'm moved enough by awesome food and service, it's easy to saddle up to the laptop and put in a good word. I recently moved back to Waldorf from Los Angeles and was looking for all the good delivery places since we have a six month old and can't get out that much. Having driven past OBO a few times, I decided to take a chance on the unknown and I'm glad we did! I've ordered delivery twice and both times, the food was fresh, hot, timely, and correct as we ordered it. The wings were fried crispy (at the recommendation of the kind woman who took our order) and the sauce on them was great. The pizzas were damn near perfect (save for the ever so slight sogginess you get when it's enclosed in a cardboard box). The flavor of the crust, dough, cheese and the fresh toppings surprised me! The texture of the crust is just chewy enough and just crispy enough to make you want to finish the entire thing. No "pizzabones" were left in our boxes! The second time we ordered the pizzas were just as good but I opted for a salad and a piece of cake (coconut recommended by the same kind lady as before). I haven't eaten teh salad yet, but it looks fresh and delicious and is a generous portion. The coconut cake, however is the BOMB!! It tastes like homemade -- moist, creamy icing and delicious yellow cake. I literally put it down to come write this review. I keep peeking over at it...it will soon meet its demise!!! I am all for local small business support so the next time you think to dial up for pizza, check this place out. It puts the rest to shame.

Wood fired brick oven pizza. I mean honestly what more can I say? Good luck finding that without driving into DC. Quality ingredients, great preparations, my only problem is there is no seating! Check it out.

Home Run! If you want other than cookie cutter pizza, here it is! Awesome pies out of a wood burning oven ...... I hope that they can maintain the quality as their popularity increases. I thought about keeping it secret but they deserve the success! More money than dominos but the quality supports the price. If you like spicy try the "Hercules" Mmmmmm.

Don't waste your time. While the first visits after OBO opened went fairly well, no more. The pizza is different and the idea good, but a staff that is asleep on the job voids a good menu. Waited 25 minutes for 2 steak and cheese subs ($18.95) steak, cheese, onion. Completely botched the order by making them with the works. Cook said the other employee said to make em all the way. Cashier said she was buy talking to someone (her gossiping girlfriend) and didn't hear. ( not surprising as there are always non-employees hanging out in the lobby and yuk-yuking with the employees. I said will you READ the ticket? Well, cook-no english. Remake. 20 minutes later 2nd pair of subs handed over (no apology, cashier little English). 1 hr later and I'm opening my wrapper to a sprinkling of "steak", onions, and NO cheese. Horrible sanwich. $18.95 and 1 hour of my life wasted. Get a staff Mr. OBO - a former patron

Definitely the best pizza in the area. The Alfano white pizza is divine! If only I could sit and have a microbrew with my pizza it would be perfection, but at this point it is carry-out only.

Not sure what happened here but the quality of the pizzas have appeared to go downhill slightly. Redeemed my magents for a free large pie and ordered the dionyssius like usual. Came in and no one was there (odd) and the pizza didnt appear to be as fresh. Indeed the flavors weren't there and the pizza was somewhat dry as well.Dough appeared too soft and undercooked even for a pizza that was prepared in a brick oven? My other concern that I didnt bring up previously is the lack of using gloves by the workers here in this establishment (note someone brought this up too in their review). I find it unacceptable to not have to use sanitary gloves in an environment such as this. I brought it up once to the cashier and manager and all I got was that "we wash our hands".Still an unacceptable answer in my opinion and this should be a requirement for all workers that prepare food here. Is the pizza horrible? No, by no means but it is average for the exboritant prices they charge for their pies. I doubt I will return over these issues until things change.. I would recommend Boston's pizza as the best alternative for gourmet pizza in the area of southern maryland now.

I LOVE this place, especially salads however I was soooooo upset to find that their employees do not use gloves when making your salad. On at least two occasions I walked in to order salads for dinner and I watched them attempt to make my salad with no gloves. When asked if they could wash their hands and use gloves both times (two separate employees) gave me an attitude about it. My boyfriend has also experienced this with them so now we don't go to Obos at all now. I REALLY wish I could have met the owner to share this with him because hand washing is a big deal and should't be an issue if a customer asks.

Finally got to check this place out after living in the area for a year. I WAS MISSING OUT!!! Workers are always really laid back, orders are from scratch and take less than 10 mins. Prices for the quality are perfect. Dining room is only 2 tables, and there's 3 tables outside. They sell Wall's eclairs too. That's on a whole different level of delicious.

For the price there is no beating their pita pizza. Perfect size and perfect price. Wings are good. Breadsticks are great. This really is a perfect little place.

Move over Waldorf Pizza Places, there's a new kid in town! The paint is barely dry on the walls in the place, but they do make one hell of a pie. OBO is a brick oven pizza joint that has plenty of toppings to choose from. They make their own dough and do everything right in front of you. We had the 'Pandora' pizza, which is a basic pepperoni with diced tomatoes-we added green peppers for good measure. The pizza was phenomenal! They burn real wood in the brick oven which imparts an amazing flavor on the pizza. The sauce they use is great, you can taste the love that was put into making it. If you're looking for a new place to get a pizza in Waldorf, this is it! If you're familiar with Ouzo's in La Plata, this is owned by the same people. I asked the woman at the counter what OBO stood for, and she said 'Ouzo's Brick Oven', after Ouzo's in La Plata.
