Nando’s PERi-PERi Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I have swung by here a couple of times before or after going to a movie at the Cinemark. You get a warm smiling welcome at the front door and, if necessary, given instructions on how to order. The service is very good and I have enjoyed my meals each time I've been by.

If you're planning to dine here, be prepared to wait to be seated, especially on a weekend, when there's usually a line to be accommodated. And take note: there's only CHICKEN here! No other meats. They do have veggie options tho. That being said, their Peruvian style chicken is good. I like that they have different sauces to choose from, with varying degrees of hotness, so you can tailor your chicken meal to your liking. Serving size is average, not too skimpy, not generous. I was hungry from the 20-minute wait so it wasn't enough for me. Nice selection of exotic spirits. And bottomless sodas. Service is fast, considering the waiting line. Ambience is very nice for a dinner night, no idea what ambience is for lunch (you know how different a place looks in daylight). For the art aficionados, there are South African art pieces displayed in nooks and crannies, probably best appreciated during the day. Family-friendly with kids' choices. Reasonable prices. All in all not a bad experience.

We love this place, my only wish is they have a few more vegan options. The veggie burger without yogurt sauce is delicious. That spicy jelly spread, oh lawd! The veggie wrap minus the goat cheese was OKAY but I would have preferred my veggies hot opposed to ice cold. My husband said the chicken wrap he ordered last time was the best he had ever had.

Awesome lunch for under 10 bucks. A bit chaotic because I did not know the drill. You have to pick up your own cutlery even though the food comes to your table. Great experience and excellent food.

Nando's hits the spot for me every time I am looking for some delicious, filling food with a great price. I've been here plenty of times ever since it opened and I have not had any major complaints. Nando's decor is always on point for a casual vibe and I love the clear glass on the roof that lets in natural sunlight during the day. It's the perfect, relaxed spot to grab lunch or dinner after a day strolling around Towson. I like that you have control over the flavor/spiciness of your chicken as well as the choices of your side dishes. Drink choices are wide bc they have that cool soda fountain that has every single drinks imaginable. Dessert options are small limited to items like cakes/cupcakes, cheesecake, icecream but they have these precious little eggtarts called "Naughty Natas" and they are true gems. I just wish that they are served warm because they would be even more delicious. Other recommendations: All of the chicken/marinade. Nandocas' Choice Hummus and pita bread (dat chili oil in the mini bottle tho....) Peri fries and Perinaise. Butternut squash side dish. Check out the decor in the bathroom at the end :)

Went here on the recommendation of a friend. Ordered a vegetarian wrap and tried the garlic bread.. THE GOOD... -restaurant was clean -food was ok THE BAD... -the line waited in to place order placed me and few others right in front of people's tables...kinda awkward -food I had was average...maybe the meat options are better...I'll never know! -one of guys who was going around said he'd be back with silverware...never returned Overall this experience was ehhh...Food wasn't memorable and basically DIY service. Not sure I'd go back.

Ordered two sangria pitchers and we watched the cashier make them and literally poured only 1/4 the bottle of wine and all ginger ale. She guaranteed that it was a half bottle of wine. I'm not paying $16 for a pitcher of ginger ale. We enjoyed the hummus and 6 wings appetizer.

With this being my first foray into either Portuguese or South African food, I arrived here curious, and left as an enthusiast. They do things their own way but they do them so right. The walls are covered with hundreds of tiny pieces of imported artwork, and there's a cool, flavella (or the South African equivalent) air to the place. It's very exact and deliberate in its pursuit of seeming thrown together and shabby/sparse, using wood in a way that Chipotle uses brushed steel. The chicken is great, up there with Peruvian pollo a la brasa, and they have a variety of sauces that taste amazing and unlike anything I've had elsewhere. I'm struggling describe the one I had...hot enough to make me sweat, acidic/tart, with a nice aftertaste and a manageable burn. I got a side of "macho peas" which was a good idea in order to give my mouth something milder as a break, when needed. They also let you get unlimited frozen yogurt if you need a more forceful anti-spice solution, but I didn't personally partake in that mid-meal dessert. Sodas and teas are free refill, with the former dispensed from those newfangled machines where everything is customizable. I'll be making the trip back to this place soon. I highly recommend it.

We ordered the jumbo platter. It is a good choice for sharing and close to the cinema.

Just opened! Right in front of the new Towson Cinemark movie theater! (Cannot really see from Joppa Road, but it's back there behind the construction) No parking in front of restaurant, I recommend parking in the new garage that is on the side of the theater, taking the elevator to the third floor then walking out the front doors of the theater, then it is right there. But lets talk food... OMG! This place is so delicious and is a dip lovers paradise! I love sauces and dips and this place allows you to order one to be put on your chicken when it comes out but also allows you to bring as many sauces to your table to try out and slather on... needless to say we had one of each, and every one was equally delicious and spicy (you could opt out of spice but that probably means no sauce, the Lemon Herb was probably the least spicy). This place is known for their Portuguese chicken, I got the "1/4 Chicken - Leg" for lunch and it was the perfect portion, but remember the bone is in, so it gets a little messy. The chicken is so tender, juicy and spicy! My coworkers got salads and they looked amazing with dark greens. The grilled corn was delicious, it is on the cob though, so be prepared to get a little messy again, oh and I definitely put some of the sauces on there! I don't love peas, but the mashed peas were pretty good! The garlic bread however was my favorite! It is soft and gooey and so delicious and you get two pieces for one side order! The hummus was also ordered for the table and it was awesome, and came with an abundance of pita, which is usually skimped on at most restaurants! We had great service... there are no servers though, you get seated, then go to the counter to order, then they bring your food out to you... you are responsible for getting sauces/condiments, drinks, and silver wear for yourself but if you forget someone will most likely get it for you. I am so glad this place opened so close to my work, I will definitely frequent here often, and they give you a punch card for a free meal after so many punches! Which is good because the price can add up on you. Totally worth it though!

This is the first Nando location I've visited. I have always wanted to try it, since Nando locations are regularly seen around DC/MD areas. But sad to say, I was a bit disappointed. I ordered half a chicken with a side of rice. The food was okay, it wasn't anything above average. I did go a little crazy with the sauces, trying pretty much every sauce that they had out, but even with the sauce, the chicken did not taste much better. On a side note, the place was huge and very clean! But the food wasn't just doing it for me!

Fun restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere! A lot of the stuff is self-serve (water, frozen yogurt, condiments), but food is delivered to your table. Just be sure to remember your table number when you go up to order! The food is delicious. I had "mild" chicken which had no hint of spiciness at all; next time, I will order "hot". I do recommend the cheesecake and the frozen yogurt. The frozen yogurt is a unique flavor, sort of a mix between vanilla and chocolate. Definitely a great place to hang out with friends!

Pretty decent "fast food" place. It seems the market is leaning towards food that can be brought to us quickly and conveniently, but is prepared more naturally. Grilled and sauced right there on the grill, it comes out fast and tasty. That rice has a sneaky heat, so watch out. Keep an eye out for more places like this to crop up in your neck of the woods. Or stop in here if you have 20 minutes and $10.

This is the newest Restaurant in Towson and a truly new experience for me in the way of food. I really didn't know what to expect when coming here. Just about everything on the menu looks amazing if you are a lover of chicken. The spices on the food are fantastic too. Even for you non chicken lovers out there they offer a steak sandwich. In terms of ambiance, its very much hustle and bustle, very crowded yet things move quickly while loud music is playing. It may feel like its difficult to hold an intimate conversation but if you are looking for party central this is it. The style of the restaurant blends that of a sit down restaurant with informative, friendly and helpful servers and cashiers while at the same time making it quick and easy like at noodles and company. With so many great dishes to choose from I settled on the Nando's choice. The portion size was so big I couldn't finish my fries after the big sandwich I got on garlic bread. I got a side Cesar salad thinking the meal wouldn't be that big. I can honestly say the serving size is worth the price. Everything is very affordable too for every size appetite. The flavor of the chicken was spot on, very juicy and i asked mine to be basted in medium heat sauce which by the way is just spicy enough, not too hot for anyone. I may actually go for hot next time. The sides are made really well, especially the side salad I got. For a fast casual place they really have it together here. Your short wait of 10 mins for your food will be worth it and then some. I highly recommend you try Nando's. It's gotten very popular very quick and honestly now I see why. I'll be coming here a lot,

Went to check out the new cinema in Towson and came across this place and decided to give it a try ... It was a nice surprise. The chicken was nice and moist. I enjoyed to different dipping sauces and perfect meal before the movie. I'd definitely come back. The staff was pretty friendly. You order inside and pay there as well, then they put a number on your table and bring your food to you. Give it a try if you check out the new theatre.

So I went to a Nando's in national harbor before abs had a horrible experience from food to customer service. I decided to give it another shot since it was right by my job and my coworker always goes. Thankfully the experience was night and day. The girl at the register was very nice and helpful so that's always a plus...and a must. I ordered the quarter chicken breast with a salad. The chicken was nice and tender and juicy instead of the super dried out over cooked piece I had at the other location. They also have a nice selection of wine. I'll definitely visit this location again.

I was skeptical. I had never heard of this place before it appeared in Towson. I had also never had Portuguese food before. Well, I was in for a treat! Wow! Great stuff! The restaurant is like fast-casual, but a little fancier. You are seated by a host, then you order your food at a register and it is brought out to you. They have one of those fancy Coca Cola machines with the thousands of flavor combos, too. The food was magnificent! I got a half-chicken with mango sauce on it, and that was superb. A little bit spicy, a little bit tangy, and a little bit sweet. Perfect! The chicken was so tender inside! It's not hard to see that they truly do marinate their chickens for 24 hours, like their website claims. My girlfriend got a salad with butternut squash in it, and it was HUGE and delicious! For sides, I got fries (with peri-peri mayo) and fire-roasted corn (which is seasonal), both of which were fantastic. Pricewise, we spent about $25 for all of this - two drinks, half of a chicken, a huge salad, some fries, and an ear of corn. Not a bad price. All in all, a great dining experience.

There's really nothing not to like about this place. The chicken is delicious, there are a ton of sides to choose from (cucumber salad is a perfect accompaniment to the spicy chicken, it's really refreshing), condiments are aplenty, there's a coke freestyle, the service is friendly, and the restaurant is spacious, bright, and clean. Different, but satisfying.

Came here for dinner one night during opening week. We've been to other Nando's before, so the concept wasn't new to us. Seated to look at the menu, order at the counter with your number, then served your food when it comes out. The staff were very friendly - greeted us with smiles as we walked in, although there was a little bit of confusion on who was going to seat us. The server checked on us several times while we were there as well. We ordered half of a chicken with roasted corn and the peas. Chicken was moist and seasoned well. They have that cool coke machine that you can add different flavors to your drink as well as green tea and black tea.

We ordered a chicken wrap and a portobello wrap. Food was just OK. In my mind it has a similar concept to Panera Bread. It is a little pricier than Panera Bread, food not as good, and harder to park. Portions are a little small. I can see people liking this place, but it is not my style. Not sure why this is listed as African food. I really didn't get that vibe. Glad I checked it out, but will not be back. It is a new area. I'll be sure to scope out the other restaurants that are building up around Towson as well.

So good! Stopped here for a quick dinner on Friday night. Definitely a place we'll go back to again. The restaurant is set up similarly to places like Pei Wei/Noodles where you walk in, get a table number/assigned table and order at the counter and they bring out your food. The menu has a variety of dishes with their spicy chicken. Sandwiches, salads, chicken platters, plus a few non-chicken and non-meat options. My husband and I both got the flame grilled chicken breast with a side of fries, plus a side of garlic bread. You choose the sauce you want (extra hot, hot, medium, lemon herb, mango lime, or plain-ish). The chicken itself is a little spicy so keep that in mind. My husband got the hot which he said wasn't too hot and I got the lemon herb since I'm lame and can't handle spiciness. Wasn't really a fan of that sauce and would probably just get the plain-ish next time and use the different sauces (all the same sauces you can get with your chicken, plus salad dressing... just salad dressing, no other specifics... and caesar dressing) to add it myself. The peri-peri mayo is definitely a must, that was definitely my favorite sauce. The fries were pretty good, but the garlic bread was my favorite. There are several dessert options but we were so full that was just split a tiny naughty nata... basically a mini custard pie. They also have a variety of beer and wine options, plus sangria (and pitchers of sangria). No parking in front of the restaurant but the garage behind the movie was only $2 for parking for the hour we were there.

Went there with a friend that raved about the place, and seeing as though I had never been said...eh, why not...well...lets see...the chicken breast wrap was amazing..loved he sweet chili jam, had a side salad that looked good..unfortunately I find the "salad dressings" if you want to call them that DISGUSTING....took the salad home and ate it with some ranch dressing...ordered a slice of carrot cake to go which was huge, and tasted lovely, unfortunately I could not eat it all...will I go back..you betcha and I will take a page out of Patti Labelle's cookbook and bring my own salad dressing

Overall I liked the food and the restaurant. I think I was expecting a larger menu, but it's not bad. I had the grilled chicken wrap with the mango lime sauce. It was good and I liked the sauce although the menu said it was only slightly spicy and I thought it was pretty spicy. I also had the cole slaw as a side and it was really good. My son had the kids chicken drumstick and thigh with bbq sauce and he loved it. He got apple slices with it and despite being a freshly cut apple it was mushy and inedible. My husband had the 1/4 grilled chicken with the medium Peri-Peri sauce and he said it was delicious but very spicy (and he loves spicy food). I'm glad we went and the food was decent, but with so many choices in the Towson area I'm not sure if we'll go back.

The location is very nice, and they have the best fountain soda machine! Which I love, anything you could possibly want to drink at your finger tips! The chicken was tasty, I ordered plain 1/4 breast, mash, and corn. The corn was flame-grilled and had a very nice char, the mashed potatoes were red skin with garlic, and the chicken was nicely seasoned and grilled. All of which came together and was delicious! There are several sauces to choose from, garlic, lemon, mixed herb, medium, hot and very hot. Unfortunately I found them all to be hot!!!! So I passed on the sauces, just not my thing. Service was good, employees were friendly, not as informed as they should be but didn't hesitate to find me answers. And there was a complimentary offering of spicy mixed nuts and or spicy mixed olives Overall good experience

Really good. The service was outstanding. This place is brand new and located right next to the new Cinemark in Towson town center. This restaurant has the same serving style as a Noodles and Company, you order at the counter and go back to your table and they bring your food out for you. Lots of restaurants are starting to do this. I like it. You don't have to be waited on and can get condiments by the drink machine and anything else you need. The food tasted great. The chicken is very well seasoned. Lots of flavor. We got the Wings, the one for two that you can share. Plenty of wings and you can split the flavors. I got the medium hot wings and they had a good amount if heat. It was perfect. We also got the Caribbean lime ones and they tasted awesome. They have great sauces too. I believe, but not sure, that they do only dry rubs with their meet and give you sauces to go with. So you won't get wet wings with dressing drenched all over it. Which I actually didn't mind. It's the style of the restaurant. I guess that's the Portuguese way of cooking chicken. Great place, great atmosphere. I didn't give it five because I just can't say it's 5. The five is designated for the most amazing restaurants in the area and I don't know if I'd say that about Nando's. It's damn good though.

Delicious moist chicken with a kick! I love Nando's and it is great to see another location pop up. I have tried this location twice and both times the food was great, service was superb and I was left satisfied and craving more. A great addition to the Towson dining scene!

Love this place!! Decor is warm, colorful and cool. This is my 3rd visit, food is consistently tasty and flavorful. Peri chips are the best fries in town. Also if you like sangria, this is robust and delicious. Please try this place it's a jewel.

Nando's has a quite a cult following in the UK and has a few locations in the DMV, so when I found out that one came to Towson, I had to try it. Parking in Towson, mall or not, is not pleasant. Fortunately, there's a parking garage behind the Cinemark, which gives customers easy access to the restaurant. I walked in and was asked if I was dining in or getting it to go. I was getting the latter and the employee explained to me how I should go about placing an order. There really isn't a designated place to wait for your takeout order, so I felt like I was awkwardly standing around until my order was called. Once I got it and drove off, I completely forgot about the sauces on the side by the drink machine. This is a HUGE tip! Get the sauces! I've tried a couple before and yes, they're very very good. The food: Even without any sauce, the chicken is still had a very good flavor and wasn't the slightest bit dry. The garlic bread, which is straight up magical. I long for the day that it's in my hands again. I hate, hate, hate peas and thought Nando's could make me a believer. It didn't, but I did like the mint smell. I also got the portuguese rice, which is also very good. If you're catching the movie at the Cinemark, definitely hit this place up before or after the movie for some great food.

I enjoyed the flavors and the ease or ordering. The staff was very friendly and the self serve dessert is a nice touch. Fun place to try if you are in Towson area but not the kind of place you would seek out.

You know you're onto something when your brand becomes a noun, as in "Let's go for a Nando's". While it's true for Europe, Nando's is a still a relatively unknown brand in the US. Those of you who missed the Chipotle stock train, wait 'til this one is publicly traded. They have a unique product, served up in a fresh and unique way I took my Second trip to Nando's this week. Once in D.C. I went with some critical foodies from San Francisco who really enjoyed the experience. Great service Second trip was to Towson. Good food as always, but the portions are shrinking or my appetite is growing. Great chicken, awesome fries. Mainly excellent, except the service was a bit ragged. Maybe they didn't understand our foreign accents, but I had to go through the menu three times with the check-out person before she registered it correctly. It arrived wrong. She did apologize for being sleep deprived, but I suspect she had a bit of a babelas. She should have had a Nando's before she went on the job. Chatted with the manager and he was really personable and friendly. Restaurant has great management and staff

Great food. Clean restaurant. I think the wings are better than the regular chicken. The sides are great and they have one of those futuristic soda machines with all the flavors.

Another fantastic addition to the Towson food scene. They really deliver on food quality, flavor, atmosphere and price. I've been there twice now and tried a number of different dishes. Each dish has been spot on in both flavor & portion size. The staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. Plenty of seating for single diners to small parties. Last but not least, the price is right. ~$12/person will get you a nice sized meal. Highly recommended as both a destination spot or a casual drop in location.

I ended up at Nando's because our movie was sold out for the desired time. We were seated immediately at an oversized booth. I really like the decor and layout of the restaurant, very much African inspired with some Afro-portuguse flavor. I also enjoyed the music selection and the friendly service. Moving onward I was excited to see a section of the menu available for the veg people because Nando's is known for the chicken. We walked to the counter to order our food. I selected the veggie burger with a medium heat level and a side of peri chips (fries). My dinner mate ordered the extra hot chicken breast with corn , fries and garlic bread. I sipped on a cup of hot tea until the food arrived. The veggie burger was more like faux chicken patty and less veggie burger, not bad though. I was hoping for more heat as I really didn't taste any. I decided to try the extra hot sauce from the condiments station; it had a little kick but not as hot as I thought it would be. I guess the spice levels here are very much on the American side and I ended up using it as a dipping sauce for my fries. My dinner mate enjoyed the heat level on the chicken but mentioned it was a little dry. Overall the food wasn't bad and I'm always happy to see vegetarian options on a menu.

Decided to give Nando's PERI-PEri a shot before our movie at the new Cinemark in Towson. When we immediately walked in we were welcomed with open arms by the host, who also explained how the restaurant worked since we had never been here before. If you like chicken, this is the spot. We started with a pitcher of their house sangria, which was big enough for 3 full glasses each. Very good flavor and loaded with fruit, even a cinnamon stick! My girlfriend and I decided to split an appetizer of 6 wings (Mango Lime Flavor), which you could taste both flavors and ended up being a great choice. They provide a nice array of spice levels, ranging from their "Plain-ish" to Extra Hot. I for one do enjoy spicy food, but their hot is VERY hot. After the wings we tried the whole chicken platter for two, which was awesome. It comes with your choice of two sides, and we decided to have their fries and garlic bread. Both amazing! This was the dish we tried hot, and I was sweating throughout the meal. They do offer their other hot sauces as an alternative on the table, which was nice so we could try most of them. Was definitely a much needed addition to the Towson area and we look forward to our next visit back.

Random sat night for dinner. Got in before the rush. Fast casual restaurant that specializes in chicken, chicken and more chicken. Too bad they only do chicken BC the food was good. Double thumbs up from the whole table. From the minute you step in you can smell the flames grilled chicken bland the many slices. Everything was as spicy as advertised. Add in your choice of sauces that you can self serve and basically you can make it spicy as you want. Has a decent selection of beer as well as the popular multi soda dispenser. the garlic bread was easily the most popular dish at our table but my favorite was the whole chicken with 2 sides. A great deal at $23. Food was served very quickly so you can get in and out with a family and kids under 45 mins if you wanted to. The most surprising thing was the dessert menu. Just enough choices to make you think about it. The only sad thing is that unless you know exactly what you want and how much, you will need to make multiple trips to order your food. Conversely having to make multiple trips to order all of your food and additional drinks might sway you from doing so and really save on the wallet. The only negative its a small space and everything is tight, the noise level can be overwhelming as the place gets busy. In the end the noise level was not enough to offset a good 1st visit.

I'm not a big fan of this place. Had the chicken twice and the hummus. My friend said the hummus was not homemade after tasting it. I prefer traditional Peruvian chicken or just fried chicken etc just not this kind. The casual set up is nice so I guess your best bet here maybe the chicken wrap with fries for like 7 bucks or so.

This is my first visit and it won't be my last. I ordered the appetizer nuts (almonds, cashews and a few macadamias) and the chicken breast wrap, medium hot. The nuts were delicious, not too salty and a bit of flavor over and above the heat. The chicken wrap was excellent and the fries were spiced a little bit. What I really enjoyed was the hot and medium sauces. There was a lovely citrusy taste to both. Great food plus an interesting decor! As I said, I'll be back so I will let you know how it wears.

If you like grilled chicken - this is the place for you! The menu has a variety of items including delicious chicken livers and hummus. Sides selections are good too with coleslaw and French fries. Nando's is not fancy - you order at the counter and they bring you your food. Service is fast and friendly. What really makes the experience is all the different sauces they have to put on your food. Spicy, sweet, fruity - a bunch to choose from and they are all good. Can't wait to go back.

My family & I went to Nandos after reading the reviews here and the smell driving by. The food tasted great - the chicken was done perfectly, the sauces were all amazing, the peas are seriously fresh tasting & I loved the mashed potatoes. However, the portions were more on the small side & it was pretty expensive. $50 for two adult meals with a soda & 2 kids meals. It wasn't like we ordered anything crazy. I'm all about cheap casual food without going to a sit down restaurant and this is definitely on the pricier side for that (chipotle, Boston market, etc) The food though was good and I would go back but not without a coupon! If the price was cheaper, I would give it a 4!

The food was good. Not great. I got a TINY piece of chicken. Its not terribly expensive, so if you are hungry, order a double chicken.

I love the food here. If you don't like spicy food there is nothing for you here. I only give four stars because the food costs too much for what it is, and unless you bring cash you have to tip at the register before your meal. It's just awkward, but the service is usually good.

    (4)
  • Anush J.

Excellent wings! The aroma hits you when the plate is a couple feet from your face and when you take a bite, all hell breaks loose! You gotta roll your sleeves up and jump in. The peas with chilli and mint went very well with the wings.

  • Rachel D.

This is an okay restaurant. I love the sides but chicken is only so-so, and with a restaurant famous for its' chicken I find this a tad disconcerting. Their spices are rather underwhelming and even their spicy chicken is pretty mild. I will say though that their Macho Peas are pretty wonderful, so flavorful, Again I've tried this place twice and I am just not impressed.

I have been to this location many time since they opened and my experience has always been fairly good but last week I ordered carryout and when I got home I found out that one item that I ordered was not included. I live about 25 minutes from the location so I did not want to return. I used the contact form on the website shown on the receipt to let them know my order was not correct but I never heard back from them. Good food. Bad customer service.

It's a bit odd that you are seated with a menu but then have to go up to the register to place your order. Following placing your order your select your dipping sauces and get your drink. Then the server brings you your food. Why doesn't the server also take your order your bill? Confusing. Food was average.

Great escape from the crappy food in the Towson Circle. Great price for quality simple dishes. The price of the flame grilled chicken is comparable to any other Peruvian patterned places selling La Brasas if you include the sides as well. Nice atmosphere for the most part. But it is still new and hasn't caught on just yet. I will be back to check out their busy time. 4 stat for now until I check them out during a high capacity time.
