This is, by far, my favorite pizza place in the area. They have occasionally have good deals too. I always get the cheese pizza. To be honest, while customer service may mean a lot to people, this is a pizza carry out/delivery place. It doesn't take away from the pizza. I will say that I've never had an issue though. Great pizza!

The Cheesesteak was decent. The interior is OK with not alot of seating.

I've ordered from Cheezy's numerous times and it is not too bad. Is it great, no...but it's better than chains. The pizza is more NY style and is usually consistent. I could prob eat a whole pie if I was hungry enough. Only thing that I'm not a fan of is their parking lot for pick up...it's awkward and not always easy backing out of...

Just ordered from this place for the first time, even after reading all the semi negative reviews. All I have to say is that the pizza is legit AF. If you got a pizza with more than two toppings on it; I could see how it might be a little hectic being that is very thin crust, but that's just science, and you should know better. Portions are large and the coupon deals are on point. All in all very please with my experience. :)

I ordered from them last week and really loved their pizza and wings. Ordered via my Eat24 app and liked their entire menu. Good prices, excellent food, and fast delivery. I'll definitely order from them instead of one of the nearby chain places in the future

My husband was skeptical about this place because of the location and look of the restaurant so I ordered and made him guess where it was from after he enjoyed delicious BBQ ribs and a spinach mushroom Stromboli. Everything I've ever ordered is great! Their pizza is good, cheesesteaks, pasta...you name it, they have it. Fast delivery if you live in Parkville. Try the ribs!

Delivery was a little late, but I LOVE their take on gluten free crust. It's better than any other gluten free crust I've had in the Baltimore area. It's bread-like instead of a glorified cracker. SO EXCITED to have them as an option for delivery!!!

You would think with all of these good reviews that the place would be awesome. Well, lemme tell you a thing or two. My co-workers went in for some pizza and ordered two slices each - one with cash and one with a card. Apparently, credit/debit card orders in this pizza joint have a $6 minimum, which is totally fine... What's NOT fine is not telling the person buying the pizza about this until after you give them their order and they find out they only have one slice and not two. And then you have the nerve to be rude about it? Co-worker: I only have my card, not cash. That means I'll only get one slice of pizza, but I originally asked for two. Staff: I guess you'll only be getting one slice of pizza then. Just imagine that last sentence said in the snarkiest tone ever. ???? Someone, explain this foolishness to me. That woman working the register needed a nap or something. Cranky for no reason and taking it out on customers. The pizza wasn't even big. For the amount of money they paid, it was a dinky piece of nothing and the size of three half-dollars. BUT THEN! That's not even the kicker. BUT THEN the pizza had the nerve to actually be good. We settled for Pho Towson instead. Obviously, a wimpy slice of pizza served by a nasty attitude wasn't doing anyone any favours.

BEST PIZZA IN TOWSON. Everywhere else I have tried is pretty bad (seasons, pizza palace, dominos, pizza hut, arlyns, pizza mart, pizza palace, and pasta mista). Strongly recommend the margarita pizza and their specials give 2 extra large pizzas and a 2 liter soda for $20. such a bargain and it tastes sooo good. Also their staff are reliable and friendly. And a great plus is they are on grubhub.

This is gonna be a short review, just so I can get it out there {sorry, will try to expand later!}: -Staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgable about gluten free. -Pizza was yummy. I think it's baked on Still Riding Crust, and somehow they cooked it better (texture wise) than other places. -My first crabcake since going GF. It was good, but probably not worth it $-wise if you're not seeking the novelty of a gluten-free crab cake. -It's a bit out of the way from Baltimore city, but there's a small parking lot and worth the trip, I'd say. (This is not a gluten-free restaurant, but that's all I tried and can comment on!)

Ordered the Popeye's pizza. The spinach was pretty yucky tasting. Otherwise the pizza was fairly mediocre (smaller than I'd imagined, but sufficient for two to share). Good enough for a Saturday night when I just want something to eat.

These guys are great! I live in California and wanted to order a pizza for a friend in Towson for his Bday. I found Cheesy's on Yelp! and gave them a call. They were patient with me and very helpful. I was sad that I didn't get to eat the pizza myself. It was heart shaped!! My friend enjoyed it and it was a great experience. Thanks Cheesy's!!!!

The pizza was really good. Probably the best in the area. The bread sticks were simple, but amazing. All in all, it was a pretty good meal. And the delivery guy was really polite.

If you like classic thin crust pizza, this place is great! I haven't tried anything else but the pizza is awesome! You can order online, which is awesome. On tuesdays they have a $6 extra large pizza special.

The best pizza and subs in the tri-state area!!! Every time I am in town, I stop by for a pepperoni pizza and a cheesesteak sub. I have been known to drive from virginia just to eat there, it's that good.

I just moved here and have been trying all Italian places in the area and this is at the low bottom for me. It was greasy (unacceptable) and also not appealing to the eye. It definitely WAS cheesy though. Like heart attack after a slice cheesy. I will say they are fast, friendly and cheap so if u only have $6 on Tuesday get the large pie. Quality wise you can do better.

Cheezy's has been around for quite a bit but it's one of those small shops you would pass if you weren't looking for it. It's at the intersection of Joppa & Loch Raven and near the bank. I saw the "Proudly Serving Gluten Free Pizza" sign and wandered in out of curiosity to see if maybe they offered vegan cheese. That was met with a resound no, BUT I did see several vegan/vegetarian options on the menu in the form of wraps, calzones, strombolis and subs. I've had the vegetarian sub (vegan style) and was pleased. I've also done a few vegan style remixes to some dishes and have never gotten any pushback or felt like I was being an inconvenience. The cashiers are pleasant and accommodating. Prices are average for a sub-shop but they lack in that they don't have any cheap soda, sub & fry specials. Desserts are always available including cannolis (frozen, not freshly made) and they also have snowballs available (which you can also get delivered with your food order).

NEW Upscaled menu...Cheezys is just not just pizza and subs anymore. They do have amazing pizza, but I heard they had new menu items so I gave the Chicken Eggplant Romano a try. so GLAD i did. It was just like a dish you would get at Sabatino's in Little Italy...it came with garlic bread, and a nice sized side salad all for under $7 for a meal, even better. The eggplant was sauteed nicely over the tender juicy chicken breast and it was smothered in a mushroom gravy sauce( you dont have to get that if you hate mushrooms like most people do)OMG I am on a Cheezys kick for the month- I have tried the . If you go inside and order plan on waiting for a few minutes b/c everything is"cooked to order" not precooked and sitting under hot lamps all day and microwaved like Subway!! Worth the wait I usually just call ahead to pick it up on my way home from classes!

I'm sorry but I just moved to Baltimore 2 weeks ago from Brooklyn and don't think I will be eating very much pizza if this is Baltimore's best. One user states that this is better than pizza he has had in NY and quite honestly he must have been somewhere other than NYC because there isn't a pizzeria in NY that I have eaten at, and this includes the ones which by NY standards aren't very good, that wouldn't blow cheezy's out of the water. It is a combination of things which makes Cheezy's only edible and and not good or great pizza. First, the dough is lacking flavor, good pizza dough should have that nice yeasty bite to it. Second, the sauce and cheese are completely flavorless. Last, they are using a conveyer belt over to cook the pizza at too low of a temperature. The good pizzerias in NY use ovens which can cook a pizza somewhere between 600-800 degrees for only about 5 minutes. By cooking a pizza at that temperature you achieve a light crispy crust with a nice chewy center. Sorry senior Cheezy but no more of your pizza for this NYer.

I have never heard of this place until my sons coach ordered for the whole time so pies from CHEEZYS PIZZA, boy am I glad they did. This was hands down the BEST pizza I ever have had in my life, NO JOKE! Do yourself a favor and check it out, they offer delivery but not to Canton so I drive up to Towson exit 29 B 695 just for this pie! My wife works in Towson and her work orders once a week, those ladies all eat the grilled chicken caesar salad, which is chunks of juicy chicken breast atop of huge leafy salad- so she says! I am gonna try out their subs next....apparently they won BALTIMORE MAGAZINE'S BEST PIZZA this year, and I know why, its small but worth the trip up to Towson!! and they have VACARROS cannoli's too!

The only reason I give them 2 stars is because their pizza was not terrible. I finally decided to try out this place and got a pizza delivered from them. The pizza was pretty good. That is, until I came across a hair baked into my slice... Disgusted, I called them to complain, expecting at least an apology. Not only did they not apologize, but they argued with me and asked what it looked like. After explaining in detail that the hair was long, brown, and baked into the pizza, they proceeded to tell me that they did not have any black employees in the kitchen. I was shocked that they were arguing with me about a hair I found in my pizza, and even accusing me of lying. They eventually asked me what they wanted me to do about. I told them my money back would be nice, but an apology would suffice. They hung up.

It was good take out pizza, but nothing amazing. I dont see how everyone is raving about this place. I like pasta blitz for their pizza's and although I haven't yet tried it, there is a location off of york in lutherville.

So I have driven past this big smiling tomato a bunch of times and at last we decided to give it a try! Oh boy am I glad we did! I have been searching for a good pizza place that would deliver to my house and at lat I think I have found my #1. We started with a special that was large pizza with 2 toppings and a 2 litter of soda for $11.99. So we 2 of our favorite toppings which were pepperoni and mushroom. This is the best pizza I have had in a long time here in Baltimore (I have been searching for a place to take over from the small pizza joint I love in my hometown in PA where I grew up). The sauce is sweet but not overly sweet. The pizza is a NY style pizza with the bubbly crust and the rest thin. They advertise that they make their own dough, use a family homemade recipe for the sauce and only use Grande cheese. We also tried a Philly Cheesesteak for $6.99. They advertise they are overstuffed and they are but its the perfect amount! They use real meat and not steak-um! They use fresh baked Italian rolls that are golden brown on the outside and moist on the inside. My husband says it was the best cheesesteak he has had since we moved to MD. They also have plenty of appetizers (bread sticks, mozzarella sticks, fries, etc), salads, wings, wraps, desserts, calzones, stomboli, and gourmet pizzas. We didn't have a menu but used their website. you can order through he website but we just called it in. When we got the food they gave us a menu and it is loaded with coupons. *I just looked and it says online ordering is TEMPORARILY unavailable. I give this place 5 stars and will be ordering form their plenty of times!

I can't explain it, but this place time and time again delivers awesome, simple, and delicious food for both times when one is feeling lazy or feeling a late night weekend fueled hangryness. As far as take out wings go, theirs are usually hot, crispy, and have a wide variety of sauces to choose from (The Garlic Butter and Honey Mustard are my favorites). Their chicken tenders are dynamite, there is nothing else to be said. Finally their subs are pretty awesome too. Especially the sub rolls, which are much better than your usual from a bag variety. They may even be homemade, but either way they work and only add to the meatball and philly cheesesteak experience. Overall, its a great delivery and take out spot.

Scott N.'s review summarizes my thoughts, but I won't digress... Plain and simple, we had an awful first and last experience with Cheezy's. It seemed that no work was put into "The Works" at all - a soggy, dripping-with-oil "thin crust" topped with vegetables and HALF (i.e., 1/2, 0.5) of a pepperoni, minus the sausage? No thank you. We would have much rather ordered from Papa John's, or even (dare I say it) Pizza Hut [I said it]. Better yet, a good 'ole DiGiorno would've been spectacular in comparison to this...thing! After a 45-minute wait for delivery this just really didn't make the cut. I'm not sure what happened at Cheezy's last Saturday but needless to say, it definitely wasn't pizza.

I have been here a couple times, and the only thing I have eaten is their Pizza. I thought their pizza was pretty good. The best thing about it is their Tuesday special when they have it which is Extra Large Pizza for $5.99. It's carryout only, but it's definitely worth getting for that price. It's a small place that has been home to other pizza carryout restaurants that haven't really lasted. So, the location may not be the best place for them. You can park in the front or in the back of the store.

It pains me to write an ill review about a local pizzeria but the outcome of their product urged me to write about my disappointing experience. My girlfriend found this place with a yelp search (4-stars at time of review) and a hunger for good pizza for a football game. We ordered a medium size of their Deluxe Supreme ("the Works") and requested it be made with a thin crust. We received a soggy thin crust pizza full of peppers, onions, mushrooms, and only HALF of ONE pepperoni. The pizza was advertised to include both sausage and pepperoni. Despite having nearly no greasy meats and minimal cheese, this pizza was dripping with grease; in fact, the box itself was leaking grease from a corner since the moment the deliverer handed it to me. Soggy thin crust, really? One of the advantages of a thin crust pizza was a firmer crust with a bit of a crunch - this pizza was none of that, it was simply a sloppy mess. Worst use of $15 for a pizza, will never order from them again.

Happened to be driving on Joppa Rd and saw an electronic ad in front of this pizza place advertising crab cakes. We've driven by this sub/pizza place hundreds of times but have never stopped. My husband and I decided to try their crab cake. We called and ordered a 10 inch, 2 crab cake sub. 15 minutes later we picked up and took home what turned out to be one of the best crab cakes we have had in a long time. We were so surprised at the quality and taste. Big, white, lump back fin. Very fresh and large cakes. My husband called them up to congratulate them on an outstanding crab cake. And the price for a 2 crab cake sub??? An astounding $17.99. Unbelievable!!!

This place was a huge disappointment! I was expecting good NY style flavorful pizza but got the complete opposite. I went on a Tuesday where the Xtra large one topping was only $5.99. Which I felt was too good to be true. Turns out, it most definitely was. When I got the pizza box, I had to double check to see if the pizza was even in there because the box was sooooo light. Anyways, the pizza had no flavor and it crust was EXTREMELY thin!! I literally almost had to eat the entire pie to even feel somewhat full. If you are looking for a cheap pizza with very little flavor and a paper thin crust... then this is your place! Personally, I wouldn't come here again.

I have been eating at Cheesy's for years. I have never had a bad sub or pizza. My teenage daughter prefers to not eat pizza as a rule but loves Cheesys NY style crust. I think they have the best pizza in Baltimore! One more thing I noticed the negative reviews on here are all from VA residents? is it possible they are referring to a different Cheesy's? I work very close to the Cheesy's in Towson and order from here an average of once a week. I have never had to return anything or had an issue with an order, delivery or carryout!!!

I struggled to give a 3 or a 4 star rating. Truth is I love this place so I went with 4. I love their food but I never carry out, I always order. The wait time is what really kills my overall review. I have never waited less than one hour for delivery. It's often even longer. I live very close. Every other place I order from comes in 40 minutes or less. I find this to be very frustrating. At least I can say they're consistent so I'm never surprised, but it does affect my decision on whether or not to order from them or somewhere else. Wait time. I think "I'll order cheezys" then I'm think "it will take forever, let's get 'such and such' instead" So, unfortunately we don't order often for that reason. I love their wraps though. Any way to speed things up?

I'm not really sure why it's called Cheezy's Pizza because it makes me want pizza. However, it is not good. What WAS good was the fries - they are steak cut, crispy, and salty (just the way I like them!) I like the fact that they have a kids menu also. They're garlic bread and cheesy garlic bread is good. The baked Ziti is ok, bland and lots of cheese. I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak (which usually are piled over) - it had a little less than what filled the sub. I also asked for lettuce, little mayo and onions. I got a tiny bit of lettuce, small amount of onions, and almost no mayo.

I know five stars are little high but let me explain why. This place always delivers on time with the friendliest deliverymen. They're always very professional when they pick up the phone and take your order and the food is always hot. If you like real New York style where the crust is thin, perfect amount of pasta sauce, perfect amount of cheese, this is great and you can fold it like a pizza pie - very good. New York style pizza I would highly recommend this to anybody in the Towson area.

Just finished eating my last slice. I was starving and still am.... I had a pizza and cheese steak delivered and ordered online. The food came 45 minutes later which we expected. However, when the delivery man took out the SMALL pizza box and cheese steak bag, I immediately knew something was wrong. The pizza and cheese steak were SMALL. Real SMALL. Over $10 for a Large pizza with a couple toppings is OK, but this was more like a personal pan pizza. I feel bad for a large family who tries this place for the first time and orders a couple of pizzas thinking it would feed the clan. The delivery man looked embarrassed to hand it to me. And then that stupid smile seemed to be laughing at me for being dumb enough to order from here. You know the saying, fool me once... All together with the delivery fee, $2 tip, and both items it was around $23. As far as being NY style, it isn't. It is a bad take on Papa John's or Dominos, but not even half as good, more expensive, and a lot SMALLER. I am from New Jersey, I know what pizza form that area is suppose to be like and this is not even close. The ingredients look and taste cheep. The steak in the cheese steak was good, however the roll was low quality and horrible. Again the cheese steak was SMALL. Lets put it this way, it came in a normal brown paper sandwich bag and fit sideways in the bottom the bag. The cheese steak should have been at least twice the size. How does a place like this stay open? Every other pizza place in the area is better. Look at some of my other reviews for an alternative. That is all for now as I have to pick up something else to eat.

I have driven past Cheezy's many times. Is that Cheezy's logo staring at me trying to get me to stop in and try it? We decided to try it. Looking at the website, they have a large menu from pizzas to cannolis. We called in our order for an XL Pepperoni pizza for carryout. If you want, you can sit and eat your pizza in-house at the handful of tables. The pizza was a thin crust with a sweet, tomato sauce. It was topped with cheese and pepperoni. I wish the crust would have been just a little more crispy and bubbly on the edge. One great thing is that the pizza wasn't too greasy which is always a plus. Overall, the flavor was good but unfortunately not my favorite pizza. I'm still looking for my favorite pizza...the search continues.

I love their pizza and fries. I dated someone with Celiac's disease and the Gluten Free Ziti and Pizza were her favorite. Manager Ash is really nice too.

Really fast delivery and the pizza was awesome! We were at a dance competition at Goucher College and it was pouring rain so we couldn't go out. The guy that delivered it had a cast on and had to climb a lot of steps in the rain and still had a great attitude. He made our day! Thank you!

Very friendly service, and ELATED that they have gluten free options for my teen daughter who has celiac, but loves pizza and pasta. Also cute options for heart shaped pizza on valentines day etc.

I must be missing something. Thought the pizza was average at best (nowhere near as good as Pasta Mista), certainly not one I would go more than a block away to get. Reminded me of some frozen brands. Cheese had that "been sitting here for a day" look even though I picked it up just as it was done. The jumbo wings were certainly not jumbo, and had to search for the sauce. I will say the steak fries were tasty. I was also not very happy when I got there. Ordered online - 12" pizza for $9+. Get there, and big sign (that's probably aways there) says extra large pizza for $5.99! Online was $14. I felt ripped off before I even walked in. Why are specials not carried thru to the web? Or I provided my phone number, how about a call asking if I want to say $4 and get a pizza 3 times larger. If I happened to be walking by their parking lot, I'd probably stop in, or if they were the only delivery place open, I'd probably order again, but otherwise will probably never see it. 2.5 stars, but I'll be nice and round to 3.

We love this place. They have great food. The pizza is Mom and Pop, New York style pizza. Their cheeseburger sub and onion rings are good also. Staff is friendly and there is never a long wait for food. Great prices. Their location SUCKS! So hard to turn in and out of the restaurant parking lot. Fortunately, their food is worth the hassle.

I decided on Cheezy's because a friend of mine told me that their pizza was good. This night, I was craving a chicken cheese steak sub (#Fatty) and I decided to order online. I ordered from baltimore.eat24hours.com and I submitted my order. I can say that my sub was amazing!! I don't eat subs often due to all of the carbs and the grease, but this was really good and it didn't make my stomach hurt in the interim. I also ordered fries and they were tasty as well, because they were steak fries. The online ordering said that it would take 45-60 minutes to arrrive, but my food came within 30 minutes and I was pleasantly surprised! When the hankering for a cheese steak arrives and I don't feel like driving, Cheezy's will be my destination. I have yet to try the pizza as I will do that next time I order.

Nothing special. Would be a three-star review if not for the lady at the counter. I had a take-out (pizza and gyro etc), came to pick it up. It went like that: Moi: "Hello. I am such-and-such. Came to pick up my take-out". Her...Mmm...Nothing, she just silently grabbed my bag and the box, shoveled it to me. I gave my money, gave a tip. I said "thanks". Nothing in response. Not even any eye contact. Well, clearly, some employees are as cold as a rock on a February day in Iceland. The only thing smiling there that day was a tomato on their "Cheezy's Pizza" 's logo. As for the pizza, it was average/below average. Gyro was awful, not enough meat, pretty bad tzatziki sauce, thick slice of pita bread (thick and tasteless, probably a bit old), store-bought tomatoes (as tasty as a cardboard at USPS shipment facility).

  • Suki R.

I wasn't sure if I should try the pizza or the cheesesteak, which had both been reviewed fairly favorably so I ordered the online special - one sub (a cheesesteak), an order of fries, a medium cheese pizza and 2 sodas for $17.99 (total came to $20.57 after tax and a $1.50 delivery charge...which is pretty steep in my book). I thought the cheesesteak with American cheese was definitely edible - there wasn't anything wrong with it, but I've had better (try Casa Mia's in Towson). I would have preferred a little more meat and more flavor. The fries were the really wide steakcut fries, which were good but again, nothing special. I was impressed with the pizza though. The sauce was nice and bright, a little sweetness and good garlic flavor. Lots of high quality cheese too. The crust is tender (not crispy) and no real flavor, but really it's just a conduit or the sauce and cheese anyway so it works well. I'm definitely interested enough in the pizza to keep their $4.99 XL Cheese Pizza Tuesday special in the back of my mind. I'd actually give this place 3 stars for the food but they gained a star for their service. The poor delivery guy forgot my cans of soda at the restaurant so he had to make 2 stops to get what I had ordered. He apologized for being late - which I didn't think he was since the website says to allow 45 minutes for delivery anyway. I am looking forward to all of my leftovers but if you're on the fence, give the pizza a try over the cheesesteak.

Cheezys has good food taste wise, unfortunately their portion sizes are a bit small when it comes to things other than pizza. These items are somewhat overpriced for what they give you. Also my delivery spilled everywhere in the bag, when i was handed my food it was soaking wet with sauce.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
