From service to food it can not be bet. The owner is very kind and sweet and the take-out is really good. My kids ALWAYS get the orange chicken no spice and its perfect every time. We've had company ask for take out from here when the came back in town.

This is hands down the best Chinese carry-out in Eldersburg, and it isn't particularly close. Most Chinese places you can tell have the exact same suppliers, because the food is exactly the same. Hunan Garden does not. They give you gigantic portions at similar prices to everyone else. The egg rolls are fat and full. The spicy dishes are actually spicy and cooked just right every time I've been here. And the lady in the front is awesome, always a huge smile and friendly as can be! This place is no secret though, on weekend nights it can take 45 minutes or more, but it is well worth it.

Consisently good food. I'm SUPER picky and this is our main take out place. Try the salt and pepper shrimp. Awesome. Mai fun also great. My kids love the chicken in Brown sauce. The food is very fresh. Not gelatinous like other places. The service is good. Very friendly. You won't be disappointed...

very good Chinese takeout no delivery but they ate usually very fast. we eat here every time we have Chinese. we are a combination lo mein and fried rice fam...keep it simple. but or son loves the General Tso chicken...I think that's the best they make. haven't tried much else but what we get is always fresh and tastes very good. we have tried a few others near by and they don't come close to tasting as good as Hunan. The staff is also very friendly.

I'm really not sure why there isn't a string of reviews for this place, but for take-out Chinese food in the area, this is the one to go to. You know how most take-out Chinese restaurants have a greasy look to them, a bunch of yellowed pictures of food, and a collection of boxes and broken chairs sitting there? There's none of that here. The food is fresh and plentiful, and the prices are reasonable for what you get. There's no guesswork involved, either. The food tastes as good as it looks, and the kitchen staff seems to be as good at cooking Thai and Japanese as they do Chinese. If there's a down side, it's that there tends to be a long wait if you order too late (after 6pm) on Fridays and weekends. I'm sure the staff is cooking like crazy to keep up with demand, but believe me, it's worth the wait. I suppose it's a sign of good quality. If nothing more, go just to check out the collection of Chinese art that adorns the walls and counter top. It's just something I don't think a lot of people ever notice. The jade dragons by the register are really pretty cool. It's been a regular of ours for years - and it should be one of yours, too.
