Under new management and SO amazing now! We are very regular customers there the lady before was very lazy and rude and her kids interrupted us at dinner but the new lady/guy are very polite and super fast and make excellent food! Definitely the best Chinese in Salisbury and greatly priced! They usually always give us free cheese wontons too. Like I said, I love it here!

I called two times yesterday, during business hours and attempted to place an order to go. I checked the number on multiple sites before calling. The person who I spoke with originally was very short and unprofessional. I ordered beef and broccoli and they responded with "we don't have that." I then asked if they had anything similar and the person replied "we have fresh kitty cat." After, they hung up the phone. I was thoroughly taken aback and disgusted so a few moments later I called back and asked if I had the right number to a Chinese restaurant and asked to speak with an adult or a manager. There was lots of background noise and I got nowhere. Completely unprofessional and ridiculous.

A fantastic pan-asian spot hidden in a non-descript plaza. Don't let the exterior fool you - the inside is updated modern and new, and the food and service is great. On a recent visit we ordered half a dozen assorted sushi rolls, vegetable tempura, a chinese dish, tofu teriyaki, green tea and more. The presentations were nice and the food was top-notch. In short, this is a highly recommended gem that may be the best new asian restaurant in town, and we frequent the other highly regarded spots - Ikebana, Sakura. Not an easy feat to pull off with that competition.

This used to be a great place. We had a coupon offered by Tao. They did not honor it. Even though I had just printed it. We will not be back!

Competent kitchen produces Authentic Japanese food-sushi, tempura and grilled meats-along with Chinese stand-bys and a few Thai specialties for good measure. Service is prompt and efficient. We sampled a lunch box with teriyaki beef that was perfectly cooked to medium rare order. The box, which had maki rolls and shumai, was preceded by fragrant miso soup and a small green salad with the traditional ginger dressing(delicious!). The Thai spicy basil sauce leaned more towards a Chinese flavor because of an overuse of soy sauce, but it was a tasty dish nonetheless. We will be back!

My son and I ate at Tao's last night. It was a Friday Night and we were there for 1.5 hours. We were the only eat in patrons. The service was great but we were the only table. The food was tasteless. I was not impressed.

I ordered the sushi deluxe to be delivered since I was working OT on a Sunday. I am not one to order sushi to be delivered normally but I was very pleased. Beautiful presentation and nice portions.I am a big guy and I like to eat and I was stuffed.

Small, clean restaurant. Neat furnishings. Owner should remove the Christmas lights from the walls and windows. Half don't works and it looks kind of unsightly. Boxes in foyer area and half written chalkboard (looks like some other stuff to get rid of)... So, the food... Got a lot of appetizers, sushi, fried wings, spring rolls and calimari. Everything was fried... Wasn't an issue, but it was also pretty greasy and tasteless. Nothing was vibrant or really good. I wanted to order noodles and entrees but didn't because everything else tasted the same, so I expected the other dishes would be pretty bland too. This place is new so I hope they look at these reviews and refine the menu, lighten up the sushis, (no egg, tighter wraps, better rice, quality flavor in the seaweed...), use better sauces, experiment with the temperature to decrease the amount of oils left over in the foods.... Go to a more sophisticated look in the decor, it clean and new. It's a good opportunity to capture some real Asian food eaters and add some fusion. The server was really nice. We had a $25.00 coupon for our meal so I felt okay with our $75.00 dinner ticket .

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
