I'm pretty sure that Pat's Pizza was the missing food group while I was in college. Located across the street from Salisbury's campus and accessible via the tunnel, this restaurant is more than just the local college hangout. This restaurant is probably one of the mot family-friendly options in the Salisbury area. Simply put, there is something on the menu for everyone! My college roommate and I lived on splitting a medium cheese pizza and a large Greek salad during our time at SU. Although I would sell my soul to go back in college again, I do enjoy going to Pat's to meet my mom for lunch when I go back to Salisbury. At least I can show up in yesterday's sweatpants and last night's hangover and not be judged. I'm not 19 anymore... The restaurant is exceptionally clean and they do agreat job getting your food to you fast! Even when I'd meet my parents there for lunch or dinner during my time living off-campus at SU, we never had to wait more than 10 minutes. If you're looking for a great Greek salad, consider Pat's. In fact, all of their salads use the freshest of vegetables. Their pizzas are cheap and a force to be reckoned with. It is a typical Greek-style pie, which is my favorite kind! Pat's offers a great family-atmosphere while also appeasing to the SU students. There is practically always an open table and is great for large groups. Furthermore, there is plenty of parking and friendly staff. Whether it's lunch or dinner, give Pat's a chance!!

The food is pretty good. I had the spaghetti and it was good. This time I had a garden salad and it came with cheese on it that was not listed on the menu. No biggie.. the salad was fresh. My only real issue with Pat's is that if you are placing a group order for an office for delivery, you are charged PER PERSON for a delivery fee if each person is using a credit card. If anything, they should waive the delivery fee if there's a large number of people ordering from the same location/same trip. Bad policy or just bad POS programming.

I love Pat's Pizza! It's very good and always smells delicious! My only issue, if you can call it that, is I wish they would offer smaller pizza sizes. The smallest size they have (as far as I know) is medium (6 slices), and I feel it's a little too big for one person, but otherwise, I love this place! It's also one of the few places I've found so far where you can get a slice of tasty Smith Island Cake!

Tried to place an order online. It was not easy or user friendly. When I went to pick up my food I was told it never went through. When I asked to speak to the manager to tell him that the online process was difficult to navigate I was totally dismissed with a treated very poorly. I will never go there again!

Their pizza is tasty, but a bit greasy. The meatball parmagiana sandwich is quite good. I had one issue with service once: they put your food on the counter for the "waitress" to bring to you...only she was nowhere to be found, so I went up and got it myself, and got yelled at by the person at the register.

I stopped in with a friend while in town for the Sea Gull Century. We were looking to carb load with pasta so we both went for the chicken parm with spaghetti. The salad was large but wet and flavorless. My friend's dinner came about 15 minutes before mine. When mine came, it was different. I had no breading on the chicken and it was like rubber. When the waitress asked how the food was, I told her and she brought it up with the manager. He tried to make it right by making me another but after all the waiting, I wasn't really up for more. Also, the pasta was overcooked and the sauce was bland. At $12 for the meal, I expected better quality.

Good: Service, price, location/setting (convenient/casual), chicken parm dinner, chicken alfredo dinner, wings, some of their lunch sandwiches. Not so good: pizza is subpar (esp. compared to other places in town), fries (meh no seasoning), garlic bread (always dry and overcooked). This place overal is OK. Not great, not poor; but just ok. It's good if you are looking for quick and convenient Italian food. However, if you'd like a better quality dining experience, better pizza, and overall better food quality, there are other (and better) options around.

My family has eaten at Pats numerous times. Sometimes ordering delivery twice a week. One day we ordered and discovered glass in our Stromboli. My husband had actually bitten down on the glass, which is how we found it. Well, we aren't the type of people who make a big deal out of things, but I did want them to know. So, I took the order back to Pats and showed the manger the glass. His first question was "well, if the glass was in the food, why is is so clean with no food on it?" Well, sir, it was in my husbands mouth...that's how it got so "clean." He proceeded to tell me that it could of come from anywhere. Eventually, they refunded me the price of the Stromboli (not the entire meal). I totally understand that stuff happens. I would've been totally ok if the manager had just said "I'm sorry." Instead, he acted as if it was our fault. I typically wouldn't bother writing a yelp review about a bad experience, but the more I think about it, the more I wonder what would've happened if my 2 year old had eaten and swallowed the glass.

Food is basic board of fare for a pizza joint. Nothing particularly special . Nothing particularly bad. But delivery is habitually 35 to 45 minutes later than their estimated time of delivery.

We got the lunch special number 3 and number 17, a cheese medium pizza and two slices of pepperoni pizza. This was a stop on the drive back to DC from Chincoteague/Assateague, as Yelp alerted us that there were lots of decent pizza options in the area. Pat's ambiance is really nice, it's actually set up like a Greek/pizza restaurant. That said, the pizza is just ok. It's not the best, but it's not bad. Prices were reasonable, and service was ok.

First of all we tried doing the online option and after 15 mins of navigating a very unfriendly site it closed the online order option. After getting the food it was as if some slopped a dish together. The chicken parmesan was as tasteful as a 4 year old MRE and the sampler was cold and tasted like fried batter. I would rather eat food from a collage door room than pay for this filth.

A nice, clean restaurant. We got a Greek salad and a large meat and veggie pizza. The salad was very good. The crust on the pizza was light, flaky and crusty. The sauce used on this pie is very nice, with a sweet taste. What made this pizza excel was the fact they use fresh veggies, not canned, on their pies. Fountain sodas with help yourself free refills.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
