This was my first time here after living in the area for the past 15 years. I have heard mixed reviews and decided I would judge for myself. Walking in the place is incredibly welcoming. Two adults and one child of six years comprised our party. A small table in the back of the restaurant was perfect. Not long after sitting out waiter Daniel approached and I cannot say enough about this young man. He looked extremely young but carried himself with maturity and poise that appeared as if he was born to serve the food at this restaurant. Knowledge of the wine menu and other drinks was helpful while we attempted to choose. A moscato for the lady, draft beer for myself and soft drink for the boy. Knowing it was an Italian restaurant I was probably going to get my fill on carbs so we bypassed the appetizer and went straight for the main course. Again, Daniel was suggestive and knowledgeable of the menu and assisted us in making our decision. I would have shrimp and scallop scampi and the lady would have chicken with crab meat (Chicken Chesapeake). A child size spaghetti and meatball rounded out the order. The pricing was average although he child portion was huge for just $5 and was more then I think I could eat. Salad and breadsticks preceded the meal which could have been the meal itself. Family style salad with an incredible house dressing and breadsticks to rival the best around. The entrees were large and delicious and leftovers were a certainty. Although full I was able to sample the tiramisu which also was on point! Overall excellent service, large portions of tasty food and value for your money.

Go there a lot it would be five star but the bartender Marigot sucks so bad. I know she is a staple at the old Frattellis, and i never went there. But she is an awful bartender. Innatentive, lazy and still does not know what she is doing behind the bar. I went there 10 days of the 14 they have been open and she is the only downfall so far minus the breadsticks. Will have to stop attending if her performance does not improve. signed a (real) bartender!!!

Attempted to eat there yesterday. Sat in the bar area. It was not busy. We were the only ones in the bar area. Bartender was behind the bar. We sat and nobody waited on us. We got up and left. Our son asked why we were leaving and my wife said so the bartender could here "because nobody will wait on us". She never said a word. That was your first and last chance. We went to The olive garden and had wonderful service and meal.

Outstanding, friendly service and great food! You get what you pay for, IMO if you want cheap go to the chain restaurants this place is authentic and fresh! I can't wait to come back and try some other dishes, had the seafood Alfredo tonight! Plenty of salad and breadsticks but don't fill up or you'll regret it!

Crabcake sandwich was delish, fries were awesome too! The chicken pasta we got was good, but a bit too cheesey for our liking, will try something else next time. Staff was attentive and very courteous!!

The crab cakes are GOOD. They are better than the ones I have had in Ocean City. One bar tender was annoying but I think she left. Pizza is really good at a good price.

Ask to be seated in Darcy's area. She won't make you sit at the table in the corner jammed up against the waitstaff's window to the bar. Service with a smile.

So, I don't know what the one star reviews are for but they aren't for the food or service. My mom had fresh halibut Chesapeake and I mean fresh. I had stuffed shrimp. Good taste not fishy. Salad and breadsticks awesome too. A little loud but great friendly service. My parents live in the area and have been going since they were in the old location. This is my first, but not last time, here for dinner. As good as any in any big city but with friendly shore people. So, if you want dinner and are not a drunk at the bar, this is your spot!!!!

I got there and the order was ready, meat ball sandwiches and a crab cake sandwich, Maryland crab soup, fries included. Got dome crab balls... All of the order's were warm and delicious. Very convenient. Not a five because nothen stood out special.

Went here for dinner last night and the food was terrible. Ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs and it's the most bland, uninspiring meal I've had in a long time. Portions are way too large. Sauce has no herbs, no flavor besides bland meat. Pasta is way over cooked, mushy, and tastes like it came from a can. Calamari was undercooked and chewy. Breadsticks were undercooked and and the salad tasted like it came straight from a plastic bag. How can you call this place an Italian restaurant and you screw up spaghetti? I'm sitting here at my desk trying to eat these leftovers and I can't even do it. Disgusting. If I could give them no stars, I would. Save your money and eat anywhere but this place. Ugh.

My family went to Fratelli's for my birthday dinner. We had never been before but heard wonderful things... We were not dissapointed. First I ordered the clams casino. I have to say it was ok but nothing special. Then I had the crabcakes . Almost all jumbo lump crabmeat. Really delicious and quite a treat! my kids ordered the chicken Chesapeake...amazing was the word they used to describe it. Husband had the veal parm... He said it was good too.The cheesecake for dessert was so moist and creamy. The portions were extra generous so there was boxes to go home to make a yummy lunch today Our waitress was very qualified and attentive. We will definitely be back. Great place for date night.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
