Jen was great, very good service. Meat on ribs do fall of the bones. It's St. Louis style, so it's in the sauce with a little kick. Also had the brisket sandwich which I found a bit too lean. Corn was local grown and very sweet, fries were good also!!

If 1/3 of a star was an option, that's what I'd choose. 6 people and 4 of the orders came out wrong. We finally got out "breakfast potatoes" that were actually just chopped up French fries, as we were leaving. It was eggs and toast- not sure how you can mess that up? We sat for 50 minutes before our food came. Again- it was eggs and toast. Oh yea- food was gross. I'm hoping this place makes up for this with some awesome bbq? We couldn't tell you though considering they were out of brisket. One last thing- also out of chip beef (one of the 6 breakfast options). First yelp review but hopefully will save someone else :)

We stopped here on our way back to Baltimore from a weekend at the sea. We were full of crab and looking for something a little different. So happy we found this place, we were the only ones there but it was late on a Monday night. The place was clean as were the bathrooms. My dad and I ordered the ribs, and my brother the brisket sandwich. He finished his sandwich in about 20 seconds it was so good. The ribs were juicy and fell right off the bone and weren't drenched in sauce, absolutely delicious. The service was great, Chris served us and he was very friendly and helpful. The food came out very quickly and was super fresh. I highly recommend this place whether you're a local, visiting, or just passing by and looking for a bite to eat. Our only complaint was not enough coleslaw because it was so good!

We walked in and nobody was there to greet us. No signs saying to seat ourselves so we just waited. One waitress was in the whole place and she was at the bar taking an order. She didn't look up or acknowledge me. After a minute or so I asked if we just seat ourselves and she nodded so we made our way to a booth. We sat. And sat. And sat. She never came. No menus, no "I'll be right there!" Nothing. Like we were literally invisible. For 10 solid minutes. The place was busy so I get that she couldn't get to us right away but seriously, she walked through that place like she had nothing to do and nowhere to be. Absolutely no sense of urgency. We were flat out ignored and she couldn't even swing by and drop a few menus on the table. We ended up walking out.

Nice people and decent food the tried the ribs and they were great fall of the bone and not covered in sauce Nice that you can get three and that all three were meaty instead of the normal haft rack of which two are junk Also had scallops very fresh and they cut me a break by combining two menu items in to one. The only miss was the corn bread it was so small and not very good Will be back again

The ribs are fantastic! They fall off the bone, but still have enough to hold together. So moist! They smoke them every day for that day, for a nice noticeable smoky flavor. The "bark" is thin and perfectly crispy. Definitely a Wow! Also love fresh the corn on the cob. Family with me liked the tender brisket, steak, and fried catfish filet sandwich. Friendly staff. One of the owners, Jeff, was happy to tell us how they rescued the 100-year old wood to build the bar! This is a must visit!

Had the Burnt Ends Sandwich... this is the REAL deal!! I was with a friend and we were talking about how SBY needs a good BBQ/Pit place. He told me about 2J's and I stopped by here. I like that it is off the beaten path, a little... well worth the side trip. Easy on/off the bypass.

Our party of 6 walked out after a solid 10 minutes of sitting in a booth without menus or even a cursory "Hey, I'll be right with you!" The only reason we made it to a booth was because after standing in the entry unacknowledged for a few minutes I asked "Do we seat ourselves?" And the only waitress in the whole place looked up from the bar and nodded. The girl could not have moved any slower. If she was busy, she certainly didn't move like she was. I waited on tables for years and I can tell you right now, at that pace nobody was getting anything for a long time. She literally sauntered. It reminded me of that scene in Gone With the Wind when Miss Mille is having her baby and Scarlett sends Prissy for the doctor and she looks out the window and finds her singing and lolly gagging by the front gate. Wth? We walked put and ate elsewhere.

We were craving some BBQ on the way back from the beach and found this place on Yelp. It doesn't look like much but the food was wonderful! We wanted the fried pickles but they were out so we tried the buffalo shrimp. When it came the cook had fried up the last pickle and put it in there with our shrimp. Both were very good! We tried the pulled pork sandwich, burnt ends sandwich, potato salad and mac and cheese. All delicious! My daughter got a burger and fries and while it didn't look all that special, she cleaned her plate and said it was great. This place is definitely worth a detour off the main drag!

The place is clean, well decorated, and the waitress was lovely but the food not so much. The pork was super dry and lacked seasoning. The baked beans were bland and the french fries were WAY undercooked. Was disappointed after reading so many good reviews.

Don't go for breakfast. The waitress was pleasant, but untrained. I had the sausage omelet with grits. The omelet contained cut up sausage links and little cheese. The grits were not buttery or smooth. Had to ask for butter and milk for coffee. The coffee was ok, but the milk was served in a cocktail glass. My wife had the Belgium waffle. Just a waffle on a plate. No butter. No fruit. It was dry and heavy. There was syrup, but she had to ask for butter. The place has gotten a nice face lift from the previous restaurant, but still has little street appeal. Sorry for the bad review. Perhaps the ribs an other dishes are better as other reviews suggest. I thought the prices were a little high for spot so far out of town. I know running a restaurant can be expensive.

Was on vacation so I figured how bad could it be, reviews seemed good and I love bbq so I'm in ocean city md lets go. SO NOT WORTH IT!! BBq in name of place but not even close, got chicken and rib with fries combo and what a mistake. Never got asked but I figured hey it's gotta come with bbg sauce right? Nope it came with some sort of sauce but wasn't anywhere near bbq anything sauce food wasn't good, place in middle of nowhere and looks like a shack .

If you're headed to Ocean City, MD, I highly recommend a quick stop over at 2J's on Business 50 in Salisbury. I also encourage you to try the Shore Burger (you won't find it on the menu...you have to be "in the know"). It's a thick burger piled high with crab meat and topped off with cheese. Very good! And, if you can handle the heat, go for the jalapeno corn chowder!

I have had bbq from florida to nyc and everywhere in between and this is one of the best bbq places i have ever been to. I have eaten here 3 times. I had the ribs, chicken and a burger. All three were fantastic. The ribs were meaty and had great flavor. They weren't covered with a ton of sauce so you couldn't taste the meat. They were nice and juicy. Same with chicken, juicy with great flavor. The burger was nice and heavy and cooked exactly as i ordered it. All the sides were great as well, especially the fries. They tasted like boardwalk fries. The place was clean and the service was prompt. Finally a great bbq restaurant in Salisbury. They have beer too.

Ribs were fantastic, falling off the bone with great flavor. Beans, potato salad, and coleslaw good as well. Blackened catfish so salty as to be inedible. No other flavor apparent. Waitress just shrugged her shoulders.

2 J's BBQ & Seafood is a new locals restaurant. My husband and I haven't had the BBQ or seafood, however their breakfast was the best! We stopped by this morning, and although we were the only ones there at an early hour, it was delightful. The decor was very cheerful, the dining area was very clean, and the choice of 3 TV's or music was great! The server came to us right away, offered fresh brewed coffee, and took our order very quickly. We received our breakfast in a timely manner. The waitress checked with us a couple of times but she was not bothersome. The cook even came and chatted with us. Overall it was a great experience, one that we will go back to enjoy soon.

Fabulous BBQ. Had the beef brisket platter and it was so tender and good. Wife loved the pork BBQ. Highly recommend this place. Great atmosphere and a pleasant change from the big chain restaurants in town.

Ate here Saturday night with my fiancé. I was greeted at the door by a male server who was very friendly and very personable. He turned out to be our server as well, his name was Andrew. He reccomended the wings as an app and 12 wings for $5 we couldn't pass up! They were delicious wings. I had the Catfish sandwich for dinner and my fiancé had the brisket. We both loved the food and the service. The owners were in house and greeted us and made us feel like we were part of the family. Definitely reccomended to anyone who enjoys barbecue, seafood, or a cozy environment.
