I went for a work lunch/party thing and we bought our own dishes. We were a party of about 18-20 or so. The service was ok . . . nothing remarkable. The decor was so-so. A little kitschy, but at least it was clean. I did not get a chance to check the bathrooms--sorry! : ) Alright, now down to the food . . . it was ok, but waaaaaaaay too salty. I got the Shrimp and Crab Gratin ($11) with fresh seasonal veggies as the side. The gratin was salty and the veggies were even worse--you could taste the salt crystals! Not how I like my veggies or my meals. Otherwise, the taste of the food was not remarkable. The veggies were giant chunks--about 3 bites per hunk, so I tried to cut them but they weren't steamed enough so it was tricky, even with their (cheap and fragile) steak knives. As far as the value, it seemed overpriced for what I got. I know it was shrimp and crab, but the promised lumps weren't really there, the shrimp were tiny, and it was a really small portion. It appeared that way for the soups, too. The salads and burgers looked like a decent size, though. I know the price dollar thing says $$, but it felt more like $$$ for the amount and quality of food you get. I will not return.

Below Average Food. Average Decor. Great Service. The only reason why it got two stars is because the server was attentive and engaging. The food was very sub-par. It was exactly what I would expect from a chain restaurant. Noisy and cheesy southwestern motifs abound. Not my choice at the time... and won't be my choice going forward.

Overall food was fine. Nothing overly special. Service was decent. Did not seem worth the money.

Firstly, for those that may not know, this is an Outback type of chain. Medium price point. Expecting too much is not warranted given this fact. The review is written with that in mind. Went to this location about three weeks ago and just now remembering the review. I went early(4pm) on a weekday for an early dinner. The place was near empty. Maybe 2-4 people at the bar and 5 tables seated. For some reason I was told it would be a 5 minute wait. I'm not sure if this was simply them trying to be pretentious or if they were trying to adjust servers at the start of their shift (kind of thing), but I found it quite odd. Waitress was nice enough. I was not kept waiting for refills(soda). Not a big fan of the honey wheat bread they serve as a filler before the meal. But it wasn't bad. I ordered the large filet med rare and a baked potato, salad with bleu cheese($mid twenties$). Bleu cheese was fair(It's SO hard to find a good bleu cheese, in fact I think the aforementioned steakhouse has one of the better ones for a chain). When my steak arrived it was flat. Yes literally flat. The world 500 yrs ago, flat! Shocked, and actually pointing at my steak, I asked the server if that was a filet, she said yes, I said ok. I cut into it and it was well done. Well done? I looked at the two elderly patrons that were looking at my disbelief and one of them said, "they always look like that here, that's why I get something else". As it turns out there was a miscommunication when ordering, she thought I actually wanted it well done. I've considered many times how this miscommunication would have occurred based on my order and comments at the time of ordering, and have been unable to come up with anything near a plausible answer. Regardless, when I called her over and said it was overdone, and the miscommunication was uncovered, my steak was replaced. The med rare steak that came out as its replacement tasted just fine. I am really writing this review for you non-rare lovers out there. As far as I am concerned you can sear a steak and slap it on a plate, I'm happy! But for you non-rare steak lovers, they actually PRESS their steaks on the grill. Rather than grilling at the proper temperature for the proper time, they just mash them into submission. I am not sure if this is commonplace as I have never been with someone ordering well done, but I have to believe it isn't. So for you non-rare lovers, I would certainly avoid this place. Personally, I prefer the aforementioned steakhouse if only for the bleu cheese(but it's more than that).

It is hubbies birthday weekend. we ordered the house made chips and dip: dip was good, however approx one third of the chips were still raw (yuk). He ordered the hamburger and fries and both came out stone cold even the burger was topped with a mushy tomato. Sent it back and never tasted it. Grilled chicken was mediocre. Prices are on the high side for this type of chain. It was our second visit here and we were VERY disappointed. We won't be returning any time soon.

Everything was great up until our dessert- it was a lava cake that came out COLD. Great to know it's just a frozen cake they warmed up. Ridiculous. However we had a great waiter and the appetizer and entrees were ok. The steak COULD have been better, but it was alright. For a STEAKHOUSE it should have been on point, but hey it's a chain....

NO! The service here is less than amateur and management makes things worse. Save your time and give your money to much better local establishments or chains that care.

We both think it is much better than Outback. They have both a lunch and dinner menu. Both times we have gone we have gotten the: Texas Tonion Jumbo Spanish onion petals, lightly battered, fried and sprinkled with Prairie Dust(tm). Served with a tangy dipping sauce. IT IS YUMMY!!!!! We have also both tried the: The Renegade Hearty, USDA Choice top sirloin. Seasoned with our own special Prairie Dust SO YUMMY! My Hubby also tried the: Chop Steak Ground sirloin, seasoned, grilled and smothered with sauted mushrooms, red wine Bordelaise sauce and crisp onion straws. he said it was pretty yummy!

Came here for dinner hoping this one would be similar to the Longhorn near Arundel Mills, unfortunately this is not the case. Service was slow, and it was a Sunday evening! They had more than enough staff on hand, well...enough for them to stand around talking instead of being attentive to their customers' needs. I got the 14oz New York Strip and it was overseasoned (whatever they use is usually great, but this one had too much salt). My girlfriend had the filet and it too had the same issue with seasoning. The raspberry iced tea was ridiculously sweet, to the point where I had to cut it with 50% water. The Ravens were playing and it seemed everyone was too busy watching them than seeing when we needed refills. I do not want to make it seem like we are high maintenance, but some common courtesy would be appreciated when we are paying quite a lot of money for a nice dinner. Another waitstaff person brought us our food, which was not a problem except he just put it on the table and walked away. He seemed to be too engaged in a conversation with a fellow coworker to ask us if we needed anything else, he didn't even speak to us. Then we didn't see our waitress again until halfway through our steaks when she finally asked if everything was cooked to our liking, after we had been eating for 15 minutes. As we left, not one of the 3 hostess' said goodbye or thank you. They were standing around gossipping to one another. We won't be coming back to this one anytime soon. If a place can't do things right during a slow evening on the weekend, I would never want to be here on a busy Friday or Saturday night!

Service here was TERRIBLE. I am the type of person that can have a delicious meal and the service can ruin it for me. I did have a tasty meal (a filet) which was cooked to perfection, but the service was horrid. I called ahead multiple times to see if there was a wait because we had a group of 7. We arrived and there was no wait. We asked to be seated in the dining room and instead of taking us, they told us to sit down. They then proceeded to take OTHER groups that walked in after us (of 5 and 6 people)! Our waitress showed no interest in our table. She didn't ask for refills one time. The table next to us left halfway through our dinner and stayed dirty for another half an hour. Like, stacked with cups and dirty dishes because they were took lazy to come clean it off. They would walk right by and just ignore it. I couldn't believe it! Was not a fan. Will not be coming back.

Going out to eat is one of my most enjoyable experiences. Eating out here sucks. I went to grab lunch with my coworker. The service sucked, the salad was drenched in dressing and the waitress alternated between ignoring us and be obviously annoyed that we needed things like drinks and utensils. . The medium rare steak was medium well. For many this may not be a problem but if you have STEAKHOUSE in the title of your restaurant for the love of corn fed beef please no how to cook a steak!!!! The best I can say is that they serve baked potatoes before 4pm & they have free mints at the door othe than that don't get your hopes up.

First time to this location. Had a small issue with the doneness of my girlfriends steak. Problem was resolved promptly! Other than that everything was 5 Stars! A follow-up visit from the manager and an apology for the issue was over the top! Will definitely return. Can't explain the poor ratings this place has received!

Really terrible. First, we were told there was a 10 minute wait when we walked in even though we saw many empty tables. Then after 30 minutes we were told that they "lost" our check-in with the host and we were finally seated. Then we waited and waited to order drinks. Then we waited to order our app...and they were out of the Texas Tonion!! Before 6pm on a weekend! Ugh. Steaks that we ordered were undercooked...practically still cold. Just don't even bother with this place. Seriously.

Lead waitress with long hair over the food wasn't right but the food was on point. Try the chicken breast, mac and cheese and Caesars salad

Let me start with the wait was a little long when my friends and I got there but when we got seated the service was good. Our waitress very friendly and helpful when we asked questions about the food. The Wild West Shrimp was good with the right amount of spicy. My steak was juicy and tender, almost didn't need a knife to cut it. My friends said their food was also good with no complaints.

Quick and pleasant service!!!! My steak was overdone at first, but the remade it without hassle and it was perfect!!! My lobster was over cooked and dry ...

It was okay. We went there after the lunch rush, so there wasn't a whole lot going on. We sat right away in a booth in the bar area. I ordered the fried green tomatoes and the half sandwich with soup combo. The fried green tomatoes were nice and hot and crispy, and I didn't even mind the sauce that was with it. My soup was the French Onion, which was definitely cheesy, but probably had the most bread inside of any FOS I've ever had. It absorbed more of the broth, which meant there's less of that 2 sip, and there weren't many onions, but the flavor was good. My 1/2 sandwich was (name?) the "shaved" steak with fried onions on it & beer-cheese sauce. I should have asked for it rare or medium, but I didn't tell the server a temperature. It was overdone for my taste, & a little bit tough. My companion ordered the bone-in rib eye with mashed potatoes and gravy and french fries. He wanted medium well, but what he first received was closer to medium rare. He sent it back, and it came back medium. Third time turned out to be the charm, they finally got it right. (This is a steak house, right? It's kind of their job to know how to cook steak.) As it turned out, the waitress took part of the blame because she originally ordered it medium. The first order of fries that came out were lukewarm, so we asked for some fresh ones. Maybe they had been left over from the lunch crowd? It surprised me that nobody offered to comp anything for the trouble. Not a drink, dessert, and certainly not the meal that had been messed up. Almost $50 for mediocre lunch.

Very disappointed. I have been to many. Long Horn resturants and was not impressed. The first thing that hit us was a very bad smell upon entering. Then of the four in our party two of us needed to swap out our place setting. Three of the four of us had partial menus. Three of us ordered steak and when one of the dinners arrived. It looked thinner then the others. When we inquired about this. We were informed that the steaks come in different thickness, so they all have the same cooking time. Bull.......ever hear of butterflying. Should have gone to McD's and saved over $100 Well we won't be back. EVER.

Oh my goodness! ! The salad was awesome. The flavor of the bacon and cheese and tomato together was magical. My friend said their sandwich was too hot to eat. The waitress was on point with evrrything. My margaritas were yummy. Excellent dining experience. If we weren't from so far away (philadelphia ) we'd go back again. Thank youu for a lovely afternoon.

I really do enjoy longhorn steakhouse, however, this location just gets worse and worse every day. I came in after a long boycott from this location due to the lack of service and quality of food. Sadly my boyfriend was craving this place and i did not want to drive an hour out of my way to go to columbia. So i buckled and agreed to have dinner here. First the server was just clueless, she was not attentive seemed to be more interested in conversing with the staff then making money and watching her tables. When our steaks arrived the temperatures were very wrong, after working in the service industry i am one of those people who do not typically complain when at a restaurant however, an over cooked steak is something i will return, which i did! My steak was ordered to be rare, I do not like cooked red meat, if i wanted to eat leather i would remove my belt and eat that. Filet's are not meant to be overcooked to "well" This is how my steak arrived it was a hot brown center all the way through it. The steaks had to be remade and when they came out the second time they were medium, at this point i was just frustrated and i ate the center of the steak and my sides and salad and just moved on with my night. Never spoke to a manager, this was all handeled through our server which i found to be very tacky. An apology or aknowledgement of the mistake would have been far more appreciated. So needless to say i am just returning to my boycott and will never step foot in this location again, i will make the trip to columbia from now on.

Not sure if it's this location or Longhorn has changed the way they cook their steaks, but it wasn't working the 2 times we did go here. The steak arrived with absolutely no grill marks like the lovely pictures and commercials glorify. The steak look like it was just mashed on the flat top grill. As well, the steak had a nasty greasy flavor with no seasoning what so ever. On a second attempt to give this location a shot it was still a disappointment. I ordered the appetizer with the stuffed mushrooms, spring rolls, and shrimp. I absolutely loved the stuffed mushrooms and all of the others were good. Too bad the stuffed mushrooms can't get ordered by themselves. On the second visit I ordered it again to have the food served and I noticed the mushrooms were missing. I told the waitress and she went to go retrieve them. She comes back empty handed to tell me they don't have any mushrooms! I was shocked at the staffs lack of communication and the fact that it'd be great to know that before customers get their hopes up waiting for a durn appetizer. Then, I ordered their salmon which completely had noooooo flavor! The slice of lemon they had on the side did no justice. I asked for additional lemons just to try to eat my food. It was literally plain and taste like fresh out of the water. Obviously that's where it comes from but I thought restaurants are supposed to attempt to add flavor to their food. Even pepper didn't help this salmon! Truly disappointed I didn't even try to eat the whole thing. The first visit we ordered libations. Upon sipping we both noticed it taste like it was all mixer and barely no liquor. We mentioned this to our server and she seemed confused. Then, we got lucky she was a bartender too and just happened to be waiting tables. She said she didn't make our drinks but offered to remake our drinks for free. So she gets props for that. Otherwise I'm not so sure if I'll give them another try at least not this location because of the disappoinments. We shall see.

No more, or less, than you should expect. This place is a chain steakhouse, maybe a step above Outback, but not really. The salads are edible but there isn't an emphasis on fresh ingredients (I had the sweet salad last night, which had some candied pecans, canned tangerine slices, and dry goat cheese). The bread is fresh, and good, and comes with some decent whipped butter. The steaks are cooked correctly and have a reasonable amount of marbling, but the ribeyes at least aren't special by any means. I opted for a baked sweet potato as a side, which came with the same whipped butter as the bread, but really wasn't any better than something I could do at home. They have the whole Texas kitsch thing going, and personally I think I prefer Australian kitsch after some reflection. I can say without hesitation that I prefer Ruth's Chris for every course. Yeah, you pay more there, but if you're going to overpay for steak and potatoes ($20-$30 per person), why not overpay more ($30-$50 per person) and really enjoy the meal? Otherwise, just pick up the ingredients at Safeway and do it yourself for a fraction of the price.

The customer service kind of sucks. We wanted to booth and there was some open however we were told we had to sit at the table. I question her again about the seating she stated that she did not have a server for the booth seat. I waited until one became available in another section and made the switch the hostess panicked and said she had to get her manager to see if it was ok. Long story short food was ok but service was very not great and yes I stayed at the booth seat.

I give this place 5 starts only because of our waitress Nicole Merchent!! She is the only person i will let wait in me here! The food is a plus but nicole makes our dinner better everytime we go!

We went to Longhorn and the dinner was terrible. She got a prime rib that was gummy and then a rib eye that was raw. It was like cutting into a raw muscle on someone's body. It was horrible. The manager spoke to every table around us, but ignored us. The mac and cheese was cold and old. The salad was old. Only the waitress was nice. They lost two customers.

In general, I like this chain. Especially now that they have some pretty sweet lunch specials. Hubby and I went in and had two pretty filling meals for under $20 including tip. I think it's a little pricey for dinner although the food is decently good. The watermelon margaritas are yumm-o! The combinations of soup/salads/sandwiches for lunch are definitely worth a try and the free bread is delish! A great lunchtime standby.

Steak & sweet potato was okay. Salad needed some help. Shouldn't have to ask for a refill. The restaurant smells like dirty mop water or a musty Ocean City motel room. You get the point! It needs improvement!

The worst place ever! STAY AWAY! Live in the neighborhood and we avoid it. Poorly managed. The managers should all be fired! No one has 3 hours to eat!

Longhorn is proof that you don't have to go fancy to get a great steak. One of the best steakhouses I've ever been to. Consistently great food, especially their sirloin steak. And the service is always great too. The call ahead seating option is very convenient on busy evenings. And the drinks are awesome too. I love longhorn!

I went for my husband'a bday dinner. I wanted to surprise him because I usually make steaks at home vs buying overpriced steaks in a restaurant. It was my second time going there and his first. It was my first time ordering a steak entree from them though. We both got the outlaw ribeye with Cesar salad but I had the Mac and cheese and my husband had the fries. The bread was fresh and good. The appetizer was lobster dip and chips which was gritty and not liked by both of us. The steaks were done just right (we asked for well) and seasoned. My Mac and cheese was good but taste even better the next day reheated for lunch with the rest of the steak. The steak was a good size and I was full with plenty off food left for lunch. Our server, Chelsea, was great. She was attentive without being over-bearing. I overall was happy with the venture. We had two big steak dinners and enough for lunch. Other than the poor choice of appetizer, which was fine because I had a free appetizer coupon for signing up my email, I am happy for what we received for about 30 per person.

Best dining experience in a long time. Went here during late lunch hours, it was my first time dining at a longhorn. Expectations were high based on commercials and stories from friends. Well, it delivered on all points. Way better than an outback I've been to recently. Not many in the resturaunt at all. Decor was nicer than most chain places I've dined at. Our waiter was patient, took special notes for ordering, checked on us constantly and gave us plenty of time to enjoy ourselves. Refills were never an issue, food came out quickly check was settled quickly. The food was amazing! The bread was hot fresh and crusty which only took a few mins to bring out. Tasted great! Had the 12oz ribeye, it was very peppery just the way I love my steak, had a great crust, perfectly medium rare throughout and was basted in delicious butter. Potatoes tasted nice, not the most amazing ones ever but you could tell there was quality there. Had the most decadent chocolate brownie sundae ever couldn't even finish the last bite. Bonus points: the waiter brought a box for the leftover bread then gave us a whole fresh loaf to go too without even asking. Free fresh bread? Awesome! Of course the prices are a tad high, but what do you expect going to a steakhouse? About as bad as any outback anyway which isn't bad by any means. I'm definitely coming back here soon for great tasting food, may even go here for my birthday. If you haven't gone here yet, GO! And go for broke!

It hurt to write this review but stick to Outback. After the barrage of commercials we decide to give Longhorn a try. Truth be told the meal was good but it just doesn't stand up to Outback. By no means do I hail the Australian hangout as the best but let's admit it Outback is dam good. The menu at Longhorn is just blah, nothing jumped out at me at all and there bread just didn't compare. The staff was extremely professional and on point. Just knowing that I can get a vastly better experience with the competition I won't be back.

It's Wednesday night here at longhorn and my friend and I have never been here before. Right off the bat the decor is nice and the hostess is attentive. The restaurant is at about 34-40 percent to capacity. So far we have received our drinks and our appetizer. The coke is good, the appetizer is awesome (spicy chicken bites) and it was recommended by our server. I ordered a margarita and it's way too strong. But, the good is outweighing the bad right now we are currently waiting for our entrees and the delicious flavor of the spicy chicken bits is still fresh on my pallet. Damon, our server is totally on point and attentive. He's enthusiastic, you can tell he's confident and when I had a problem with my margarita, he took it back and fixed it. So far I'm at four stars and the fifth will hopefully come with our entrees. Entrees rolled out and were perfect. I complimented our wonderful waiter, got my to go boxes and I feel like I totally got my monies worth. I appreciate the staff making my visit a more than pleasurable one.
