McDonald's is probably the greatest and most healthy food family establishment I have ever been too. I ordered a #1 large with a coke. Got sweet and sour sauce mixed with bbq that is. I also got 2 20 piece nuggets so that makes 40 nuggets. Swagg! I also tried the play place which I managed to catch bird flu in the ball pit. I then got stuck in the tube slide because of my fatness, Ronald McDonald's managed to save me. I was flaborgasted. All in all I now have diabetes but fugg it. Ima do me.

Ill give it three stars because it's open 24/7 and it's probably one of the funniest McDonald's I've ever been in late at night this place is full of drunks, potheads, and homeless people. If you want a good laugh come to this McDonald's because some of the conversations you hear are just hilarious. Not to mention that one day one of the cashiers asked me if I had some pot he could buy off of me.

  • Julia Z.

This McDonald's is a riot. It is super-busy at all times of the day and has a completely random selection of people in the morning. Very busy, but fast and friendly. It is about what you'd expect of an urban McDonald's. They have always gotten my food right even when I ordered something slightly unusual, and though they can be skimpy on napkins and ketchup packets, they will give you more if you ask nicely... I'm sure the homeless population around there drives some of the rules.

AWFUL service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone please WORK!! You lazy shits.

  • Michael B.

ServiCe is horrible, food is awful, presentation poor, and the manager told me to' go to' H. I DO NOT recomend!

  • Ashley D.

I live at Mcdonald's. I come here at least 3 times a week, because I'm addicted to french fries and soda. I just love this place. Its messy and slow but I need salt and sugar in my life.

    (4)
  • Kathleen M.

This McDonald's does NOT have a drive thru. Please explain to me how that's possible. A free standing, concrete, you can drive all the way around it, McDonald's. No drive thru. What's the point of having a McDonald's at all?

    (1)
  • Kelly W.

Slow, slow, slow, slow! Last week, we waited 30 minutes in the drive thru!!! For a McDouble and a Shake. Crazy!!!

    (1)
  • paul l.

This is Micky D's so you can't expect very much. but of course everyone Loves LOVES the fries. BUT WHAT GIVES! this place has NO DRIVE THROUGH!!!! that's why it loses a star.

  • Alan W.

This is a well-oiled machine! No pun intended. But really, I haven't gone to fast food drive thru's in a long time so this double window system is great. They have two ordering intercoms as you come in and after I have paid, they usually just hand me my food instantly. Truly FAST food. I wish they would stop asking if I want to "try a hot latte today". It's annoying and when I finally ordered one they were confused and made me say it 3 times. Then they made me wait in a parking spot while they fired up the machine for the first time that day. That incident and the quality of the food are why I only gave this place 3 stars. C'mon McD's put some whole wheat egg white mcnothin's on the menu!

Being from California, I was excited to try the old bay filet o fish in Maryland. The old bay version of the filet o fish basically replaced the tarter sauce with some kind of old bay inspired sauce. It's McDonald's, so don't expect anything fancy, but this was a good alternative to the regular sandwich. I only eat the filet o fish during lent, but I would definitely add this to my Friday rotation. I'm only subtracting one star for the lack of a drive thru. I don't understand how there isn't one here when there is plenty of space.

    (2)
  • Gerald P.

The worst! Slow and the workers are just standing around. The manager took 15 minutes to make a Big Mac. WTF!

    (1)
  • Gln G.

Long ass wait!!!! Food is terrible! Wtf!!! WiFi is always down. Just eat a banana. I mean terrible. As in. Eating a bowl of cereal in a toilet bowl. Discusting. Horrendous. Bullshit. If I had to write a poetry it would be like this. Roses are red, violets are blue, I almost slipped on the floor without a hazard sign, I need a lawyer so I can sue. If I had to write a book it would read, macshittyface. The meat is as flavorful as my dogs food. I would die first then eat McDonald's. Blehh

You take the good, you take the bad You take them both and there you'll have McDonald's fries McDonald's fries There are times it's cold to hold once load was old - should be gold when they're sold McDonald's fries McDonald's fries When the staff doesn't seem, to be livin' up to their theme Then suddenly you're finding out McDonald's fries aren't easy to chew..... Boooo.... Should not be hard, to get 'em right When you're serving McDonald's fries (serving McDonald's fries) Meh batch - McDonald's fries (meh batch - McDonald's fries) Still like McDonald's fries! ** ** **Mc facts of life down Mc 355 - no Mc photos** ** ** There's always another Mc day

    1. Weeds on site. There is a guy parked outside and was smoking pot. 2. The cashier is a little hard to communicate. 3. The burger is very quick, but for some reason, It took they 12 minute to take the pre-packed salad out of fridge.

I have noticed a lot of hate on Yelp for this particular location, and I have to say, it is pretty well justified. This location does not have a drive-thru, catches a lot of dregs from the bus and metro lines outside along with the surrounding hotels, and it is a bit difficult to get to with a weird parking lot and street arrangement. It smells a bit...off, and the counter staff do seem to have some problems taking orders efficiently. However, it is open 24 hours a day, and it makes the food just as well as every other McDonalds location. I've never had bad food here. Come here for the experience, but if you've got an extra five minutes, head to the other location just North on Rockville Pike and you'll have all the frills.

I went to this McDonald's last night. I found to my chagrin that McDonald's no longer offers either the Angus Burger or the all white meat Chicken Selects, which had been two of their more upscale offerings. They are gone and in their place are highly-spiced chicken wings. This is sad for me because I cannot tolerate highly-spiced foods. Why not offer mild chicken wings as well? It then became apparent that not one of four dispensers had ANY diet coke, which we had ordered and paid for. The staff did agree to refund our payment for the diet cokes which were unavailable. This had all the hallmarks of a dying business. Too bad. McDonald's used to be a class act.

  • Jim C.

This place is a classic example of why robots should replace fast food workers and our border needs to be closed. Although there are three registers at the counter, only one was manned during the breakfast rush by the manager. The only person who seemed to have any competency with the English language. I would even bring that into question looking at the fact that he gave me the wrong sandwich and was puzzled when I brought it to his attention. It's typical mediocre service of a mediocre product delivered by a mediocre fast food chain taking advantage of the rat race runners the go. My advice, pick something else on the Pike. I wish I did.

Came here with my co-worker. We both got sick. My stomach is made of iron. My co-worker is not so lucky.

This Mickey D's gets plus one star for being open 24/7. However, it gets minus a crapload of stars for being fully capable of having a drive thru (4 walls, capable of having windows that open to the hungry general public, people are able to drive a circle around it in their cars) but NOT HAVING a drive thru. Other than their soda machines always lacking the syrup so it tastes like I am drinking just colored carbonated water, everything else tastes like you would expect it to for McD's. The customer service has always been fine (they hook it up when I ask for extra sauce). So, open up a drive thru so I can I order my chicken nugglers with BBQ and honey mustard sauce, please! Ugh, I'm currently the Yelp duke of this place. I need to rethink my life.

    (2)
  • Jerry L.

3.5 stars. First off, I'll admit I'm a bit biased because I live so close to this Mickey D's. But reading these cranky reviews reminds me a bit of Louis CK's famous "Everything's Amazing, Nobody's Happy" bit on Conan: Does this place always smell a little funky? Yes. Will you encounter at minimum, one colorful character every visit? Yup. Are the floors near the soda machines perpetually wet? Sure. Does the place lack a drive-thru? Mmm-hmm. Do the cashiers look a bit disinterested and lack perfect English-speaking skills? Indeed. But is this McDonald's: + OPEN 24/7/365 (including the first two days of Snowmageddon!), + with FULL DOLLAR MENU benefits and free refills, + located CONVENIENTLY across the street from the White Flint metro with ample parking, + serving the fast food needs of HUNDREDS of hungry commuters, grandmas and grandpas, policemen, NRC and WMATA staff, nurses and doctors, welders and painters in a blue-and-white-collar melting pot of ages and cultures every day, + and staffed with a team that will SERVE YOU A PIPING-HOT MCRIB EXTRA VALUE MEAL WITH NO PICKLES IN LESS THAN FOUR MINUTES AT 3:30AM IN THE MORNING when you're ravenously hungry? YES. so. stop. complaining.

    (4)
  • Adam F.

Yeah the service is quite poor but the $1 iced tea on a hot summer day can't be beat. Mind you I'll never eat anything from McDonalds because it feels like lead is in your stomach, but tea is fine by me.

    (3)
  • Tilty A.

There is no drive thru. The lobby is too small for a place with no drive thru, people are nuts to butts in line and service is slow, and if you order a 'specialty' drink (like the coffees) expect to wait 2x longer.

  • Abby M.

So it was pouring rain and I was wearing nothing but flip flops and sun dress. McDonald's was there so I ran inside, I needed shelter from the storm. I ordered a pumpkin shake, salad, and double double off the dollar menu. I sat down. Pumpkin shake, not so bad. My double double, looked like a double cheeseburger to me. Tasted like a normal McDonald's hamburger. What's really of note is the people here. Two lesbians with purple hair. Three high school kids having a free style competition. Construction workers telling crude jokes. And then suburban mothers ordering a small diet coke and cheeseburger. Indulging in an evil devil, so to speak.

    (2)
  • Roberta B.

This is only a review for the one on rockville pike across from white flint metro. This is the worst Mcdonalds. There can be only two people on line and it can take forever. There is no organization in this store. I refuse to go to this store anymore. I wish that i could give it 0 stars but i cant

Stopped in here on a very hot day to get ice cream cones for myself and parents. They even happened to be on sale, yay! 49 cents for plain cones, 99 cents for dipped cones. I ordered 2 dipped and 1 plain. Then stood there for an eternity watching some lady throw out 8 cones because she just couldn't seem to get the hang of it. There were tons of employees, but she was on ice cream and smoothie duty, the one who clearly couldn't manage it. Then the cashier who rung me up tried, and failed with the dipping. He told me the chocolate 'wasn't working' and stood there. I told him okay, just give me 3 plain cones and some French fries to make up the difference. So we were given 3 piddly already-melting cones, barely 1/3 the size of normal McDonald's cones (I get them all the time, 170 calories & 4.5g fat; but these were by far the smallest I'd ever seen). Then he was like ok, you want fries? And I said sure, because I figured that would be easier than getting back the difference that I'd paid. He said he needed to call the manager. She didn't say anything to me, put looked at the receipt and told him no, but to refund me 55 cents and walked away. I told him he owed me $1.06, and confused as he was, he had to call her back. Then she came back, punched some stuff into the cash register, and was still confused. I told her to subtract this new total from my receipt, but she had lost it and told me she had it figured out. This made me mad because she was rude and also clearly lacking in the intelligence department. But yet she was the manager. With no customer service skills, no third-grade math abilities, and nothing in the cranium to help her figure out how to solve the problem at hand. I tried repeatedly to explain to them something that shouldn't require explaining: I overpaid 50 cents each for 2 cones = $1 + tax = $1.06. They both kept insisting I was wrong. I turned to the boy, who I thought seemed like the more intelligent of the two, but he couldn't seem to wrap his head around it either. He insisted that I'd paid $1.98 for the two cones, but the cones I received cost $1.06 (he was adding tax to the plain cones, but not the one I'd already paid for and paid tax on = $2.10). So they gave me back $0.92. Although I didn't care about the money, I wanted to try to set them straight because they were both so smug and sure of themselves, but really so dumb. I mean, I understand these folks aren't cream of the crop; that's why they're working at McDonald's, right? But really??? A manager that can't even handle the math on an even dollar? But instead I left because at this point, both my cone and my patience for stupidity were gone. Bottom line: employees incapable of providing the products they are selling + poor customer service + idiotic employees that try telling customers they are wrong = DON'T GO HERE

the only two redeeming qualities: 24 Hours Food is made right i can't count the amount of times i've stepped into a pond of water on the floor. the soda/condiment section makes me itch b/c it's sooo run down and dirty. i live practically behind this place and i still don't want to come here for those emergency meals. the line organization at this location is atrocious, no one knows who's next and i'm always getting cut off. once i was cut off at 4 am and a guy cut me off, i advised him he cut me off, then he made a snide comment about my girlfriend and i asked him to repeat himself...long story short, he wanted to literally fight me 0_0 then the next day i saw him in my apartment building and asked for my number...see the wedding band on my hand?!?!? ughhh also, wished it was a drive through, i wouldn't have to see the mess my food comes from.

Worst mcdonalds experience ever!! We waited 30 minutes for a standard breakfast sandwich after being told they were out of English muffins. Once we got the meal the hash browns were disgusting and tasted like old oil. Terrible.

  • Amanda G.

Overall, your typical McDonald's when it comes to the food quality. . Cashiers can be incompetent at times and have messed up my order a few times, but it's open 24 hours a day which is amazing if you need something quick to eat really late at night!

  • Jess C.

Slowest Mcdonalds ever--you have been warned. Avoid! UNACCEPTABLE: 10 minutes for an order of 4 piece chicken-nuggets. Never coming back. Plus, there was a horrible smell.

Rushed for time and against my better judgement I stopped by at this McDonalds. Noone speaks english. A bunch of people walking around like zombies but not doing any work including taking your order. Never again will I come here. The other Mccrap down the street is basically a homeless shelter.
