For the price you pay, it was decent. The buffet was pretty empty every time I went to get more. Wasn't exactly the cleanest, but it was very busy so I can understand to a point. The pizza tasted good, but the brownies weren't that good. It almost tasted like they were undercooked. Overall it wasn't bad, but it could have been a lot better. You get what you pay for.

I know Cici's consists of high-school cafeteria quality food, but it's a good place to go with the family on occasion, or when you want a huge lunch for a small amount of cash. They did recently do some upgrades, and it looks a lot better. Plus no more broken wobbly booths! I do have to say, I don't know how or why, but the brownies are amazing! I actually once witnessed a bus-load of children chanting "more brownies!!", so I know I'm not alone in this. Tip: Don't over do it; you will feel sick.

Did you ever have one of those nights when you were needing some food but just couldn't get a focus on what you wanted? Heard an ad for CiCi's on the car radio and just said WTH. And I got exactly what I was expecting: a decent balanced meal cheap. The salad bar was small but fresh, and a heaping tub of ripe olives will always give me a smile. The za was fresh too, and at $6 for scarf til you barf I was not expecting double 0 flour, 12 hour multiple risings, artisanal cheese, and an 800 degree domed wood fired oven (although one of the thin crusted selections did have a bit of Neapolitan char). I've had worse food in a college dining hall and way worse in Army mess halls (don't get me started on the war stories). A plus for the fudge brownies and cinnamon rolls, a minus for screaming brats even at 9 PM.Three *** might be stretching it for the food alone, but it's A-OK for when your stomach and wallet are empty.

Alfredo pizza tasted like cardboard. Overcooked and no flavor. I gave a poor review on their website and received a call. I explained that this was THE worst CiCi's I've been to. He said he would send me 6 vouchers to return to any location. That was 3 weeks ago. I will stick to Infinito's from now on.

It's a buffet to go to once or twice a year. Plenty of pizza to go around just mediocre quality. The best things are everything besides the pizza and pasta; brownies and cinnamon rolls, pizza sticks, and salad. TV's were playing some awful shows I couldn't look up.

Came in on Sunday had a balloon creator here and was charging for the balloons per kid $2.00 but he calls it a donation and has a tip jar out. It is redidiculious that they expect someone to pay more money for kids activities. This is really screwed up. Never visiting this place again.

    Probably the worst pizza ever.

We generally enjoy CiCis, but this location was filthy. The food was less than typical, but we went between lunch an dinner so perhaps it had been under the heat lamp too long? We had to get new cups three times because the busboy kept taking them when we were getting food. There was urine on the floor of the women's room. When the handicap accessible toilet there was "out of order," we tried the men's room which was also covered in urine. We informed the supervisor and he seemed uninterested. When we asked why there was no accessible toilet available in the women's room, he simply replied that it was "out of order." We will not be returning to this location.

Whoa!! Is this place under new management? I just had to come back and give them their due props. It was so different from my past visit over a year ago. They go rid of the broken booths and replaced them with new chairs. Staff was attentive and tables cleared fast. Salad bar now has actual fixings last time they had tomatoes and lettuce with dressing. This time it looked like a real salad bar!! I was floored and I generally avoid salad at buffets, but I just had to make one. Counter was always packed with pizza, fresh and new types. They also have wings you can add on starting at 3 for $1.99. They were good too. I was happy and content. Summary of Improvements: New tables and chairs (no more broken booths) Salad bar as all kinds of fixings: cheese, mushrooms, carrots, peppers, beets, etc Pizza buffet was always filled, I didn't see one area stay empty for long. Staff keep tables and floors cleaned quickly. Pizza looked awesome: more & better toppings. \ They now have carryout.

Food is ok and service was ok but it through me off to see bugs in the floor area...

I was working in the area and have never been to a Cici's before, so I decided to try it for a late lunch. I told the cashier I had never been there before, so she took extra time to explain everything to me. I helped myself to the not so exciting salad bar. The lettuce was a little rusty, but I was able to pick through it for an OK salad. The toppings did not excite. The pasta bar was nothing exciting either. The Alfredo sauce was OK, but again, nothing exciting. There were several pizzas to choose from, and I tried 3 different kinds. The pizza was good and they kept the offerings filled. The best part of the meal was the cinnamon rolls! OMG, they were delicious! I ate more of them than anything else. Definitely not what I wanted to fill up on, but yummy! The floors could have been cleaner. The beverage area needed to be cleaned up. The restroom needed some attention to detail. For instance, the door was nasty, and I just felt that the entire place needed a good cleaning. There was someone working the dining room with a bus cart to clear the tables. The cart was very noisy, and distracted from my dining pleasure. I doubt that I will go back. However, for the price, it was a decent deal. It was a very kid friendly place, so if you have a family and want to fill up for cheap, this might be a place to try.

I've seen a lot of commercials about this place and I happened to be in the neighborhood with the Missus so, why not stop in. The price is good enough - $8 for all you can eat. It's a pizza buffet. Sorta like a salad bar (and they have a small-ish salad bar, too) with pizza. They even have a dessert pizza at the end of the line. It's OK. As you might expect the pizza slices are a tad warm. They're not cold but unless you catch a pizza right out of the oven you know it's been sitting under the heat lamps for awhile. Still. It's a friendly place. The pizza is certainly passable and it's all you can eat. So, yeah. 3 stars for an OK place to come to grab a bite.

Amidst the chaos of lunch hour, when I asked if the Mac n' cheese pizza (my absolute favorite!!) was available, they made me a small pizza to share with my significant other and brought it to my table. It was the cutest little pizza ever, served on a small personal sized dish. Very happy with the customer service, regardless of how busy it was in here. Would have posted a picture of the pizza, because it looked delicious, but we already consumed it before I could even finish writing this review! Thanks cicis!

I've been here about four times in the last two months. My four year old can't get enough of this place. Personally, I think I need to have her tested for drugs, because I don't get it. The pizza is very bland, which I guess I should expect from a buffet. I don't know, I just remember CiCi's being THE place to go back in college. Then again, I was eating off of a foreman grill back in those days, so maybe I was just skewed. At any rate, I've found that when we go I limit myself to the spinach pizza and the breadstics, because they have the most flavor. She eats herself silly and then we go down the street to Chuck E Cheese to work off some of those carbs. Parenting pro tip: Go to CiCi's first and THEN go to the temple of the rat. You'll come out better financially. Kids 3 and under eat free, which is why we've gone so much. She just turned four so they may see a little less of us.

The cashier was more occupied with the phone than trying to be professional. By the way his conversation was a personal conversation, nothing to do with Cici's. Anyways, the food is what it is. Each table doesn't have the cheese and spicy condiment like in Miami, they have them by the soda fountain. I had soup twice but they didn't bother refilling. If it weren't for my step-dad asking the guy in the back for more soup they wouldn't have bothered changing it even though since the 1st time I walked in there was only the broth sitting there for a good while. My favorite cinnamon dessert isn't the same. The cinnamon desert in Hialeah Gardens melts in your mouth, the 1 here is nothing special. The bathroom is clean but only 2/4 stalls are open. The handicapped bathroom is locked which is ridiculous. Overall this Cici's was, meh. On a plus side I can't wait to go home to have my cinnamon rolls in Hialeah Gardens :)

Trying to figure out why Madonnas like a virgin was playing at Cicis where it's a family buffet?? Pizza has improved. Better flavor, better toppings and crust. Place is not as clean as it should be. Upkeep is sub par and it shows.

It's nice and never too crowded at this location. The staff are generally nice, especially the guy who comes around to collect the empty or dirty plates - leave that man a tip! The rest of the staff is meh (-2 stars) as they exploit deals. I came in for a free lunch and drink with a purchase of a set, but they gave me a hard time and denied the second drink saying it's not included when it's clearly implied in the coupon.

3.5 stars I first tried this place in 2003 and thought I would never go again. But our kid loves pizza, so we said let's do it and if it's bad we don't have to ever go again. The person who greeted us was nice and made sure his greeting was heard and with some enthusiam. Even some upscale places can't do that these days. I asked him to allow us to view the pizza buffet to see if it looked like supermarket pizza or if it would be worth it and allowed us with no hesitation. The pizza was decent to good that it made me question why the buffet was only $5.99 a person. I expected the pizza to taste like the oven cheap cardboard pizza you buy from the grocery store where the sauce tastes like someone wiped their butt with it. Not cicis! Then I noticed a sign that said their pizza had a new formula with different sauce and brushed with garlic sauce. Which I can attest has definitely changed since I went in 2003 when they had cardboard pizza. The salad bar was ok good enough veggies but could use more crunchy toppings and maybe a spoon for the croutons. The soup was just their pasta in water which is fine you don't really go for soup. That's not the point of this place The dessert cinnamon rolls were ok. They had a weird after taste that even my husband agreed with. The brownies are good. I did notice the utensils were kinda dirty. But it's water spots which you can even find at seasons 54. The workers who filled the food also were kind a rude (apart from the greeter- maybe he was the manager). TWICE when I reached for the pizza spatula to get a piece, they grabbed the pizza and placed it somewhere else. I mean you couldn't wait until I grabbed the slice to move the pizza alllll the way to the front of the buffet line? And BY TWO DIFFERENT employees? Realllly ?!?!? There were also games to distract them while we ate . I'd go here again if my kid is craving pizza. I also salute you for reading this far for a cicis pizza review.

Wow! What an experience!! Dining in America with a third world charm! Dirty forks, knives, floor, windows, table etc. I was tempted to sit on the floor, Indian style, and get a real feel for it. First experience was by the near empty salad bar. I stepped on a grape tomato and had an amazing time trying to save myself from grinding the floor. Asked twice for them to refill the croutons, salad dressing and salad. By then I knew this was a bad idea to try this place out. The pizzas...let's see..how do I explain it? For $19 bucks on a Sunday afternoon... If you had pizza dough and 1oz of meat that you needed to put all over the pizza that's exactly what you'll get here. The chicken and sausages had a few pieces of meat on each slice, less than the size of peas scattered around. The pepperoni pizza, you'll be lucky to get half a piece on a slice of pizza. If you never thought of becoming a vegetarian, this place would have convinced you. I really enjoyed their vegetable pizza options versus eating pizza just with cheese and the invisible, non existent meat pieces. If you're dining alone and you want to stretch your dollar, then this is a fantastic place to fill your stomach with whatever that is available but if you're going with other people, pool the money and order a real pizza from a legit pizza place. Enjoy, if you decided to venture out without leaving the country.

This was my first visit every to Cici's. We saw a commercial advertising the $5.00 March special. I then saw here on Yelp that Eunice F. got a free buffet after signing up with email. It was on. Friday, March 14 we visited and had a fantastic time. We walked in an were greeted by a gentleman in all black that represented himself as the manager. We paid roughly $16.00 for 3 buffets and 3 drinks. For this price I could not have imagined that the pizza would be much good. I was really scared and kept joking with my wife and daughter to ease the tension. Bottom line, the pizza was great! The place was clean. The manager, the folks on the buffet and the busser were all great. The bathroom was pretty clean. All in all, I could not have imagined getting this deal. My wife asked if I'd have been happy if the price was $30.00? I don't know because it was only $16.00 and for $16.00 .... 3 people it was the best ever! It absolutely destroys that other $5.00 pizza place!

BP and I love Cici's. It's just amazing stuff and totally hits every possible food craving. I have my favorites: Chicken noodle soup, Pizzas, Sweet tea, and Cinnamon rolls! I love every single Pizza I can eat. I don't eat pork products so my review is on the other types. Their Buffalo pizza is awesome, their BBQ Chicken pizza is zesty, I love their Spinach and Mushroom pizza, and their White and Cheese Pizzas are super tasty as well. On my last visit, I didn't grab any brownies (regretting it so bad), but I basically dove head first into their warm and gooey platter of cinnamon rolls. I love those things! There were a few posters advertising Buffalo Wings, but I didn't see any out. And as previously mentioned, I also really enjoy their sweet tea from the drink station. The children running amok can be a handful to walk carefully! BP and I watched Power Rangers while eating on our last visit. So perfect!

I visited CiCi's for the first time this evening with my family...my experience was great until about 45 minutes into our dinner. The kids were having a ball! Eating the soup, the brownies, and devouring the bread sticks. I loved the idea of the pizza buffet, so much so that I think I tried one of every piece of pizza available. For the price, the food was decent...then...as my girls were eating their brownies, my baby girl started to squeal. I know what that squeal meant. Somewhere she spotted an "ant". Then all of the kids started scrambling to get out of the booth...and there it was...the "ant". Only this wasn't an ordinary "ant". It was more like a roach! Yes, an adult sized roach. I immediately found the manager on duty and informed her of our problem. Her response was, "is it big?" Huh!? She then offered me 4 free coupons and said, "you can use these at our Gaithersburg location." Hmmm...awful customer service. Probably my first and last dining experience at this place.

Let's remember here..... this is a buffet that costs $4.99 - $5.99 depending on what night and time you go. So really... if you are expecting delicious gourmet pizza, don't be surprised. With that being said.... I like that most of the pizzas are hot and fresh. It gets busy enough around dinner, in where the pizza stays refreshed and new variations are constantly being switched out. I like the Alfredo based pizzas. I do agree with others, that the crust is dry and not very tasty. But hey, again $5? I haven't tried the pasta, or the soups. I actually liked the already mixed Italian salad they offered, actually tasted similar to Olive Garden. So pretty standard chain restaurant. The toppings are a little limited, but again must I remind you $5? We also tried the chicken wings, in which I thought were tiny and EH. The desserts are not bad, I actually really love their buttery drenched in frosting and syrup cinnamon buns. YUM. My partner actually really liked the thick square pizza in meat lovers. She said that it was a better crust then the standard thin one the use for most of their round pizzas. She also really liked the macaroni and cheese pizza. I ain't gonna lie, we appreciate gluttony here and there. Price is good. Sodas are not included, but really with all the crap you are about to eat, a soda may be the last thing you really need. I brought a bottled water to wash down the salty cheese. The wings are not included and are about $1 a wing, NOT worth it. So pass on the wings. Now real question, do I like this place and want to return? Not really. While I super disappointed, I wasn't in love (minus the cinnamon rolls) although the price was good. It was something we just wanted to try. If you had a bunch of kids with you, this may be a good once in a while kinda place to take them. But my partner and I sure don't have the metabolism to be hanging out here.

Probably some of the worst tasting food I have tried in the past ten years. Where to begin? If you were to buy the cheapest frozen pizza in the supermarket and cook it, it wouls taste better than cici's pizza. The pasta was as bland as pasta geta. The soda was flat and warm. As you can tell by my experience, not my favorite dinning experience.

The new management is not good, not a friendly welcome like the other managers before. It feels like there's only two people working at any giving time which leads to a shortage of food and empty plates on the table because no one is around to clean it. Get a GM who wants to bring people back in to eat a nice family outing; until this is fix I will not go back to this ci ci

Terrible place my son wanted to go here so I took him and I did not have high expectations first off the place smells terrible it is so dirty and nasty the pasta is bland and salad bar is awful the pizza is actually not to bad after you squeeze out all the grease the desserts are disgusting my son hated everything about cicis also. The plates and silverware are dirty as well. You would have to force me to make me go back to cicis.

CiCi's is Definently not a place to go to for quality food, kind of obvious when you look at the price. Don't realy have a problem with the quality of food, but the unsupervised kids running around spilling soda everywhere. There are too many people (kids) here for the size of the place. Staff is really nice, but seriously parents, control your wild kids.

I see some reviews that are blasting away.... let's take a quick reality check it is $6 ALL YOU CAN EAT. So, we can conclude (without sitting down and sampling) it is not the very best pizza on the planet. Readjust your expectations to mediocre; and suddenly it is pretty good. The salad bar has just enough on it to counter some of the all-you-can-eat-guilt. Most of us get the pretense of a salad...I do not know why, we are not fooling anyone, except maybe ourselves. I saw a lot of people (me included) with a salad composed of 3 little pieces of lettuce, a ring of onion, a thin slice of tomato, and the whatever dressing seemed like a good gamble. Top it with some croutons and it takes up about 2 cubic inches. I am not fond of any of the pastas they have. Some people like them, but some people like chef boyardee. Some of the pizza's are not very tasty but they have so many combinations available that usually you can find something to fill up on. Some of these pizzas are quit good and most everyone can find a personal favorite. I really like the buffalo chicken pizza and the cheeseburger pizza. The cheeseburger pizza is very reminiscent of Little Tavern (Krystal, White Castle) little burgers. The dessert pizzas are somehow addictive. They don't really taste amazing or anything, but damn if I don't want to go back and get more of the cinnamon / heroin pizza or the chocolate meth pizza.

I really enjoy this place when I want to pig out over all you can eat pizza. I will say this is more of a value oriented environment but I always leave full. All you can eat Pizza and a Drink for $7-8 bucks. They usually have Salad, Pasta and Dessert available too. If you want to devour some food or have budget in mind this is the spot. Chicken BBQ Pizza is always a classic. For all you hungry guys and gals with a craving for this, don't overlook Cici's. I will say this location needs to fix or replace the booth seats. The base cushions are coming apart and may create an uncomfortable eating experience. We all have gone to a place where the table is not level right? Or maybe you sat in that one seat that has a short leg? What do we all do? We get up and go to another table or we replace the chair. So with 50% booth seating and almost all of them in need of attention, this could impact overall experience. Good food, Value price and broken booths. Sit in a table and eat I guess. You get what pay for I guess..........I'll go back when I'm hungry. Hopefully tables have been fixed by than.

Want PIZZA go to Cici's... It's great for family night with kids Pizza! The location is spacious and tonight it was packed! We got ours to go, they go the extra mile to make their visitors feel special and that's pretty cool. We like that and we got to delicious pizzas made awesome to go. 5Stars for simplicity and sass, a definite staple for family night! By the way, the girl working the register this evening did a great job!

Let me please start by saying that I looooves me some AYCE action...especially $5 AYCE! I mean, there *is* a reason why I'm a fatty, after all! The "salad bar" was a little scary. It's what I picture what a vegetable's version of pergatory looks like. But then, who eats salad at an AYCE joint, right? The pizzas, weren't bad, they just weren't good. The crusts, although thick, were insanely dense and dry. The variety of pizzas was suprisingly diverse, with buffalo chicken to pineapple and ham to the traditional cheese, meatlovers and veggie lovers pizzas. However, all the pizzas looked like they were swimming in grease...which is odd, considering how dry the crust was. I guess the crust was so dry and dense that it couldn't even soak up the grease? Just ponder that for a moment. Still...it's $5 AYCE pizza. And as the saying goes - even bad pizza is good pizza. Especially when it's $5!

My four year old loves pizza and loves this place. He enjoys the cinnamon rolls and the games they have in the back. After saying that, this place doesn't meet any reasonable quality standards. The restaurant is always dirty and sticky from the floors to the dishes. The bathrooms looks like it was cleaned a month ago.... if it was only cleaner I would absolutely go more often.

Okay, when you come into an all you can eat bar, you can't have high expectations. While this place isn't as good as I seem to remember from my childhood, they do have good bread rolls, delicious desserts (the apple pie pizza is still my favorite pizza...) and great spinach, white cheese, ham and 2 cheese pizzas. Of course, there are a few things i would not get here. Their salad is not really that fresh-- you're at a pizza buffet, chow down on pizza. Their pasta was also disappointing and way too soft. Their soup tasted like soup from a can, diluted and cooked a bit too long. Also, I remember their breadsticks as being really fluffy and delicious which they weren't when I went. They resembled pizza crusts, though that might just have been because they were rushed trying to cook enough for all the people that showed up for a Montgomery College Fundraiser. Honestly, this place is a great deal. I also went on a coupon, 2 people for the price of 1 person+drink. Not bad. Not bad at all.

This place is AWFUL. TERRIBLE. Save your $6. You seriously get what you pay for. The pizza is cheap and not good at all. The best thing about the buffet was the garlic bread and the soup, so that isn't saying much at all. This place blows, there is nothing else left to say.

Two words: Meh-Tastic. Ok that was sort of one word. But there aren't enough words to describe how mediocre this place is. I struggled to give them 2 stars. I haven't been for a long time, but I still think my review holds true. The pizza is bad, the salad bar looked terrible and so I didn't try it and the deserts looked like frozen garbage. The pizza filled me up and for the price, its not 1 star worthy. Despite that, i'll never be back

Goodness gracious, look at all these haters! I'd heard so much about this place between gluttonous college buddies and TV commercials that my curiosity and sense of intrigue grew each successive time I drove by on Rockville Pike... But then I hopped on Yelp and all these one and two star reviews tempered my enthusiasm and made me sad. Months passed and I left Cici's unvisited. Until a fateful night last week when the stars aligned (i.e. we had to take the gf's car to a nearby Jiffy Lube) and I finally got to experience this pizza buffet firsthand. Now that I have been to the mountaintop, I've only one thing to say to all the 1- and 2-star reviewers: You all are crazy. And here's why. 1) We had DINNER for TWO here for $10.36. Combined. Including tax. Two AYCE buffets at $3.99 each (!!) and a bottomless fountain drink. Short of Ikea/Costco hotdogs and fast food dollar menus, two hungry people can't eat anywhere for $10.36 anymore. Find me a better deal where you can have salad, an entree, dessert and a beverage. Don't worry, I'll wait. 2) If you're a selective and savvy eater, the food is quite good. Exhibit A: Jerry generally enjoys bread sticks, buffalo wings, pepperoni, house salads with ranch dressing and cinnamon rolls. Ergo, at Cici's, Jerry will eat copious amounts of their fluffy and delicious cheese bread, decent buffalo chicken pizza, tasty pepperoni calzone bites and sticky cinnamon bun desserts, while fixing himself a nice romaine salad with red onion and cherry tomatoes. He will stay away from the funky (mac and cheese pizza?!) and the flat-out bad (a very coagulated and suspect looking alfredo sauce) and just eat what looks fresh and good to him. This is not that hard. 3) You really can't beat the convenience. Yes, you could probably make a better pizza at home... given that you went to and from the grocery store, spent $15-20 or more on ingredients, invested 45 minutes of your life prepping and baking the darn thing and then had a pile of dishes to do afterward... or you could just go to Cici's. I'm obviously a little biased because I live fairly close, but I'd also much rather drive over to Cici's, get a warm reception from their cheery staff, and eat at my leisure, than wait an hour and fifteen to tip a disgruntled Domino's delivery man. The long and short of it is that this is a satisfactory pizza buffet (i.e. better than most delivery or frozen supermarket pizza) with surprising variety and selection for $3.99. You'll leave full. It's possible that you'll have some digestive issues the next day. It is what it is. Why in the name of Zeus' bunghole would you come here expecting gourmet pizza? If you want fresh mozzarella and baby arugula, go somewhere else. Cici's, I ain't mad atcha.

Great price, decent food and all you can eat. Three are better options for food but not if you want lots of pizza for a small price, this place is a good way to go, very rarely had an issue here.

When you're going to pay around six bucks for all-you-can-eat, expect some mediocrity, and you'll be fine. I will never pass up a great deal like that just because CiCi's doesn't serve "gourmet" pizza. Being a pizza crazed chick myself, I have tried many types of pizza, from the tasteless to the tastful, from decent to the great beyond words. I was actually surprised, their pizza is really not all that bad and it's worth paying 6 bucks for all-you-can-eat. I also enjoy their salads and their brownies are AMAZING!!! Definitely worth coming back to when I don't feel like paying 10-20 on a simple dish somewhere else.

Bleak and dirty looking once I went inside. The pizzas looked like the ones they serve in elementary schools. Kind of already dried up and plastic looking. They only offered one type of pasta when I went in and tasted like nothing. The only thing I ate were the brownies, which were good. Since 5 bucks was too much for this crap of a buffet, I took all the brownies I could to take home. I felt like I was at a homeless shelter or something. When you leave, they have a cowbell of some sorts near to the door that says to ring it if you were satisfied. I couldn't believe the people in front of us rang it and left smiling. There was no ringing of the cow bell from us.

OH, CiCi's is CiCi's. They don't pretend to be anything more than what they are. It's not gross, Pizza Hut and Domino's are gross. At least at CiCi's you can eat from the salad bar which is far better than Pizza Hut's, and Domino's doesn't even offer one. Plus, they will make you a pizza with your choice of toppings. Their cheese bread is awesome, and the cinnamon bread is fantastic! I go there to eat salad, bread and dessert rather inexpensively. It's better than fast food crap, and cheaper. ~

I've seems commercials in CA for ages (even though we have none in the state) I wanted to try this, and it was crap. The pizza is bland. I don't even think it had sauce. It's the DOllar Store of buffets.

  • Michael W.

I agree with some of the other reviewers. This is place is totally gross, is definitely not gourmet pizza, it's not the greatest tasting pizza (far from it) and anyone can make pizza better than this at home. Therefore I don't understand why it would get anything more than one star. In my opinion, this place may be a great destination for hungry high-school teens and other non discriminating bioreactors that are just looking for cheap and abundant food. The price is in absolute terms cheap, but if you consider the cost/benefit ratio you'll see that it is not that cheap in relative terms. After all, Rockville is packed with cheap places where you can eat top quality food for a less than US$10. For a little bit more one could go to A&J, Motti's Falafel or Ambrosia's Greek Diner, just to cite some options.

Don't believe the commercial. The commercial for Cici's on TV shows adults eating pizza, different pastas and salads. This is far from the truth. This place is a Chuck-E-Cheese's gone terribly wrong. I actually thought Chuck-E-Cheese was better! The pizza was dry and kinda stale. The sauce had no flavor other than stale-can. Their "pasta buffet" consisted of tasteless macaroni (not even boiled with salt - it tasted like water) and canned tomato sauce. That's it, no spaghetti, no ravioli, not even parmesan cheese! I think that paying $5.50 was too much for this "buffet". ps. if you have kids they would probably love it because of so much pizza and games. Adults? I don't think so. Don't believe the commercial!

Holy crap, someone gave this place 5 stars! Did they just get released from prison? This place is disgusting, and now that they have raised the price to $5.99 per person (not including beverage), you really have no excuse to go. Breakdown (in buffet order): - Salad bar: iceburg lettuce, red onions, grape tomatoes, baby carrots, croutons, 4 choices of dressing. Everything is fresh, believe it or not. - Pasta: One type of pasta and one type of sauce. Marinara, you ask? Nope. Pizza sauce. Yep, pizza sauce is on the pasta. - Bread sticks. Not bad, but dripping with grease and salt. Dip 'em in the leftover pizza sauce from your pasta. - Pizza. Here's where it gets irritating. Nothing is labeled, so you have to guess. Good luck. Most of the pans are empty, or have 1 shriveled up dry piece that looks like its been sitting out there for hours. Makes it even harder to guess what kind of pizza it is. The pizza is slightly above room temperature, which makes me wonder if the place ever gets inspected by the health department. Bacteria breed at certain temperatures, and I think they found their home! The thin-crust pizza tasted like cardboard and salt, and the regular pizza (whatever variety it was, I have no idea) wasn't a whole lot better. There wasn't much sauce on it, so that leftover pasta sauce came in handy yet again (maybe I shouldn't be complaining about that after all). - Dessert: I have heard rumors of cinnamon buns, but they only had brownies and some kind of lemon frosted pizza. Both were fine, reminded me of school cafeteria food. But quite edible compared to the rest of the food. It would be nice if they had hand sanitizer readily available, unless you want to cut your pizza, breadsticks, and dessert and eat it with a fork. Think of all those hands on the tongs, and now your hands are touching your food as you eat it. I'm really not a germaphobe, but one look around at the other customers and you will pray the bathroom has working hot water. Oh, and I agree with a previous reviewer: this is the worst pizza ever.

In the month of May Cici's Pizza was advertising their $5 Everyday Buffet. I went to my local Cici's in the last week of May. On my visit my first impression of the restaurant was that it was busy having been it was a Saturday afternoon. I got in line at the register to pay. There was only one register open at the moment and it seemed like it was the manager behind the register. He was having a conversation with the customer ahead of me. Soon the conversation dragged on like they were best friends. I was getting annoyed by this. Another employee finally stepped in to open another register in order to serve me. He charged me initially about $9.50 or something. I gave him my credit card. Then it dawned on me that the taxes could not possibly be $4.50. So I stopped him and asked him about the $5 every day in May deal. He paused for a second and told me that they no longer honored that deal... even though they still had the advertisement flyers in their store. He apologized and honored the $5 deal. The pizzas were ok. It is more like fast food pizza than quality restaurant style pizzas. The pasta was bland and the tomato sauce tasted like they came in a bulk can or bucket which probably is the case. There was only one busboy working at the time and the dinning room was a mess of uncleared tables. It was pretty noisy in there too. Not a good dining experience. I will not eat at Cici's Pizza again.

The price of 5.99 for all you can eat is a deal. About ten different pizzas to choose from and they all were tasty. As usual, the big eaters get a better value vs those with smaller appetites. The soup and pasta did not look appetizing. The salad was fine. The brownies were good.

The worst restaurant experience I've ever had! I politely asked the manager Orlando to change the radio station, playing only Spanish music except for the English commercials at a 9 out of 10 volume level, only to be told that I was being offensive and to get the "f*** out of my restaurant and never come back." as he threw $5 from the register at me. I asked for the district managers name and was refused. I left and phoned the store from outside to have Orlando tell me to "find a restaurant where someone of your color can serve you." He also threatened to call the police so the police were notified. According to the district manager Orlando is from another franchise and will have to stay there for another 2 weeks while his new manager is out of town. I was promised after that Orlando will not work in any of his stores again. Until then we will all be forced to suffer racism by an unprofessional manager by the name of Orlando. It is sad that in 2013 in Montgomery County we can't ask to have a radio station to be changed without being thrown out of a restaurant because of the color of our skin.

This place seriously makes me LMAO. I mean, you KNOW what you're getting into when you walk into this place: for $5.99 for all-you-can-eat -- ALL YOU CAN EAT? -- pizza, you really can't complain. Plus, after you've gone through all of that delicious doughy mess that is the pizza bar, you can also get some (rather generic but edible) pasta and salad to change it up a little. The cashier was incredibly friendly. The atmosphere has this old school charm to it (think Chuck E. Cheese minus the huge rat walking around and a playplace) and the location itself is so ridiculously small-town -- can you tell that I don't get out of DC that often? -- that you can't help but enjoy and immerse yourself in this place after consuming what feels like 6 pounds of food.

this place is a good value. the salad actually is great, and i usually dip my pizza in the marinara. i like that i can have a piece of every type of pizza, and still pay the same amount. granted it isn't the fanciest or shiniest of joints but the cashiers are always so cheerful. the best greeting and farewells come from the tall guy in the blue shirt, manager(?) that always seems to be there. cheap eats, variety, and genuine-seeming good attitude for 7 bucks? count me in!

Gourmet pizza this aint. But then again, if you are going to an all you can eat buffet for gourmet pizza, you are a major douchebag and you should never leave your home. Ever. For the sake of the world. With that having been said, I will say that I have been to this location twice, and each time the cashier has been beyond friendly: She was talkative, "forgot" to charge for a topping, and smiled like she was getting paid by the tooth. Honestly, CiCi's must pay well or their staff must be really proud of their jobs because behind the counter I didn't see ONE disgruntled employee. Not one. Hell, they break their necks to scream "THANK YOU!" when they see you walking out the door. The place was CLEAN, smelled great, and was pretty spacious if one were to sit down and eat. I have to say though, if you are going to a pizza place for an all-you-can-eat meal, it's pretty much a lose/lose situation for you. The pizza is mostly bread, so I doubt you will get past slice number 3. There you will be, paying way too much for three slices of pizza because you wanted to be a greedy bastard. Don't be stupid and pay too much. Take the pizza to go. Don't even get me started on the people who actually eat salads there. I don't do well with kids (and being a pizza buffet, there are MANY) so my partner and I took our pizza to go. It tasted great, the ingredients were fresh, and it wasn't overly greasy. I'd say that if you want a quick CHEAP pizza that tastes pretty good, go to CiCi's. If you're a stickler for customer service like I am, you wont get better than this place for carryout pizza. If you are a "gourmet" douchebag, this place isn't for you AT ALL! I like good, quick, cheap pizza, so CiCi's will be my go-to place from now on. Oh yeah, and try the wings because they are DAMN good, but a bit pricey!

I agree with everything Sandra K. said about CiCi's. The pizzas were good; I only tried the white cheese and the veggie. They ran out of the regular cheese pizza and when I went back the line was always mobbed. (It was early Sunday evening.) The best thing, in my opinion is their cheesy bread with a side of pizza sauce for dipping. It is cut into tiny 2-bite size rectangles. Ummm cheese! One thing I wish they would change is that they should have the salad bar, pizza bar and dessert bar separated a bit; it is one long bar. As I mentioned earlier, the line was mobbed and as it is sorta rude to butt in mid-line, no one wants to wait behind someone lamenting over salad toppings when all you want is one slice of cheese pizza! Definitely a filling meal for $6.91!

Cici's is totally gross, and I love it. It's mad cheap and you know what you're getting based on that fact. The macaroni and cheese pizza and the dessert pizza alone are worth the price you pay to get in (and the price your digestive tract pays when you get out). Plus, for the price they have a pleasantly surprising number of pizza options, a relatively decent salad bar, and a couple types of pasta. No hate.

I was one day there just eating pizza when I saw a roach on my table! I went to tell the person at the place where you pay and she gave me a refund and took care of it. Then I went back to eating and saw ANOTHER ROACH. I told the person he said he doesn't care so I said "What the fuck man it's a roach" then they didn't do anything so I left.

Upon entry, John greeted us with a smile. I have been here many times but John asked me if I was familiar with the "buffet". I assured him I was and continued on with my quest for delicious food. The pizza is not AMAZING but for a buffet style "fast food" place... it fits the bill. The menu of pizza is constantly changing and I find that appealing. The salad... well... DUH... its a M-F salad. Pretty hard to eff that up. The "service" is prompt. Every 5 minutes or so a busboy comes by to clean your empty plates. Just enough time for you to finish your salad/pizza and go get another plate. I dont know about the other locations but the one on Rockville Pike offers top notch service.

You cannot beat all you can eat pizza. Any kind of pizza your heart desires. Do not go on Friday nights! The place is a beer bottle or two away from a Mexican riot! Funniest comment came from the manager. Me: Where's your Mexican pizza (culinary faux pas, I meant Taco Pizza) Manager: Hey, look at my cooks, these are ALL MEXICAN PIZZAS...HAHAHA! Me (laughing in disbelief): HAHAHA! Can we spell ACLU???

Cici's is the bastard cousin of Chuck E. Cheese. Both share the common kid staples of pizza and games. Cici's has pizza aplenty, games a few; Chuck E. has games aplenty, pizza choices a few. Kids also run amok in both places. Even though Cici's lacks the array of games that Chuck E. has, I was impressed with its complicated looking ticket redemption center. Actually I was surprised they had a ticket-prize system at all. So as you can imagine, my 4 year old loved this place. I just loved the fact that it was cheap. Hello, thank you, military discount! But as for quality of food goes, it was less than mediocre. The salad bar had very basic ingredients but the onions were weird... bland, as though they had been bathing in water all day. The pasta was standard noodles with your choice of red or white sauce. The pizzas ranged from buffalo chicken to pineapple and ham, but the crusts were pretty dry and tasteless and the toppings were pretty sparse. Basically, the pizza was somewhere on the spectrum between frozen pizza and Jerry's. The highlight for me is the cheese bread, which is on a thicker crust and piled with mozzarella and very greasy. Their brownies aren't bad either. But still, those high points aren't enough to draw me in again. The only times I really find myself at Cici's are when I'm hungry for food like NOW and the kid wants pizza and I don't want to spend a lot of money. For those occasions, Cici's fits the bill... Otherwise I'd much rather go for something that actually tastes good.

I was really in the mood for pizza and a salad. There are other places for pizza but I've been curious about this place. At first glance it looks like a place that you would take children but it's actually full of adults looking for a good quite hot bite and that's what this place provides. Food -- Well, it's pizza! They claim they use fresh dough everyday and you can tell. There are fresh pizzas coming out of the oven every so often and there is a good variety---white pizza, cheese, pepperoni, ham& pineapple, you name it .... they've got most of them. Also, they have this cheesy bread which is deep dish and quite good. The salad bar is sparse but has all the usuals--romaine lettuce and regular lettuce, grape tomatoes, green peppers, mushrooms, baby carrots, pasta, black olives and a good array of dressing. Finally, they have a cinamon roll-type of dessert. It's hot and yummy. For $6.91 which includes a soda, it's hard to beat. dessert-cinamon rolls and brownies. Decor-- nothing special Service-- a little strange, they kept calling out Cici's the best pizza in town and then people kept coming over to ask us how the food was. Cost--two people, 2 drinks---13$---no tip required. Bathrooms-didn't see Bonus-there's a little game room in the back if you have kids, they might want quarters.

I agree with some other reviews, you are paying $6 for all you can eat pizza, salad, and breadsticks. Time to lower the expectations and throw back 10-12 slices (no, i'm not 400lbs, they are small slices). I think you can ask them for special requests too. It's cardboard, but if you are hungry and on a budget it works.

Anchovies; yep, anchovies! Try going to Ledo's Pizza; I quit! They wanted to argue over a $.75/additional cost for an "extra topping" very few anchovies, then added a few more $.75 for more until I had a pizza topping's worth; and this was on top of the "loaded pizza", that I ordered. Here at CiCi's, they are happy (fools me if they aren't) not only to make me a "specialty pizza" of whatever I want PLUS anchovies (NO extra charge) OR a bowl (as many as I wish) to put on the pizza myself OR on my salad. Without exception, Management and staff are courteous and, like it or not, "Welcome to CiCi's" is "hollered" to each entering guest; at least on weekend's when I am there at 11:15. Gourmet, it is not; price is higher than it once was but appropriate, and if you like screaming kids and often loud TV/radio (I do NOT), this is the place for you. DO remember to ring the Cow Bell on the way out as a way to say "Thanks, I enjoyed myself".

  • John C.

Why are you reading this review? Why am I writing it? Who knows. We all know what this place is. Good in a pinch, disappointing if you seek it out. The price isn't as cheap as it sounds, as they'll jack it up once you add a drink. But if you're around one and you're hungry and you just don't want to make a harder decision on where to go ... it's fine.

This is FAR AND AWAY the best buy in town! $5 for all you can eat pizza, salad, pasta, bread sticks, desserts. The quality, of everything, is above average. The variety of pizzas is phenomenal (taco, BBQ chicken, buffalo chicken, chicken alfredo, spicy pepperoni, etc, etc, etc). The staff is incredibly friendly. TVs with CC always on good stations. Game room. SIMPLY AMAZING!!

  • Ina C.

YUCK! Yes, it's a great value, but I can make pizza better than this -- just give me a Boboli crust, some Prego and Kraft cheese! I think kids and really hungry people with no taste buds will appreciate this place, but don't go here unless you're broke and desperate!

  • M P.

I can't believe I used to eat this junk. It's awful. You really get what you pay for and for $5 you get as much as you can eat worth of $5 food. They have little slices, so how good can pizza be when you get 5 slices and pay $1 per slice plus salad and other stuff like that. Not good.

  • Dorothy M.

I am not mad at Cici's pizza! It's right on time in this age of economic distress. So it's not gourmet pizza and it's not the greatest tasting pizza but that's not what I was expecting for ALL YOU CAN EAT AND DRINK for such a REASONABLE PRICE...especially, in this neck of the woods. Just ignore the fact that they take their sweet time removing your used dinnerware from your first course. Heck, I put mine on the table next to our booth to make room for seconds and thirds. The salad was fresh and the fountain soda was bubbly. A bunch of tweens and teeny boppers were enjoying themselves while I was there but at least I could hear myself talk to my comrades above the din of noise There was only one type of pasta offered and it was bland but the marinara sauce made it a slightly more tasty. I slathered some of that sauce on some of my pizza slices that I thought needed it. Overall, it was an interesting experience and I will most likely go again.

for a place to get you grub on this is a fun place. also if your in the military you get a discount. in some way its less expensive to go here than it is to get a full meal at mc donalds. they always have pizza and to my knowlegde never left any one hanging. they have go meaning a arcade and stuff. its also a good place if you have kids and is easy on the wallet for big groups

3.5 stars. The price for the buffet is very reasonable, but the price also matches the selection, which is less than stellar. But maybe I'm just accustomed to buffets with far wider selections. The pizzas were decent, but I've tasted better. The pasta selection was limited, but then again, this is a pizza buffet. This would also be an excellent place to bring your children and their friends. The setting is very suitable for and very appealing to children. There's even a game room. A good value. Would I return? Ehhh, most likely not, but maybe... it is a good deal... and it's a great place to bring children, especially for a large group of many children. ($)

So perfect!

I knew what that squeal meant. I wish I could give negative stars. :-/

Great price, decent food and all you can eat. Three are better options for food but not if you want lots of pizza for a small price, this place is a good way to go, very rarely had an issue here.

  • Jen T.

    (1)

  • Glen K.

    (5)
  • Ina C.

Not good.

Cici's has its up days and its down days. If I was really hungry, I could enjoy my meal and rank Cici's with four stars.

My kids love this place. Low price, lots of variety, TV and some video games, little kid's ideal dining spot.

this place is a good value. the salad actually is great, and i usually dip my pizza in the marinara. i like that i can have a piece of every type of pizza, and still pay the same amount. granted it isn't the fanciest or shiniest of joints but the cashiers are always so cheerful. the best greeting and farewells come from the tall guy in the blue shirt, manager(?) that always seems to be there. cheap eats, variety, and genuine-seeming good attitude for 7 bucks? count me in!

Why are you reading this review? Why am I writing it? Who knows. We all know what this place is. Good in a pinch, disappointing if you seek it out. The price isn't as cheap as it sounds, as they'll jack it up once you add a drink. But if you're around one and you're hungry and you just don't want to make a harder decision on where to go ... it's fine.
