This place is seriously amazing. I now bring all my out of state friends here for a very enjoyable brunch to prove to them I don't live in hickville. Brunch is delicious - even better than NYC, in my opinion. I made reservations just to be safe which is very easy to do. Our waiter was warm, friendly, professional, and had a great sense of humor. I highly recommend trying their toasted blueberry muffin, which just melts in your mouth. I still dream about that muffin and I'm not even a muffin lover. I had the Oscar omlete, which hosted crab and a hollandaise sauce. And I have two words - Rosemary. Potatoes. Freaking delicious. I really appreciate the quality of food here for the price and I can't wat to try dinner soon!
I have to apologize. I have been calling this town Port Decrepit for years. Just have to stop, its not correct anymore. This restaurant was real nice, the owner/chef checked out the tables, the hostess checked on us and the wait staff was prompt and helpful. Wish I had been more hungry, not just wanting a appetizer and beer. I get back up there, will work this into my routine.
Excellent. Sea Bass only outdone by the mushroom soup and salad. Good service, reasonable prices and good wine.

A great old school bbq joint. No frills, no silverware, no fuss or muss. Very casual. The baby back ribs are tender and fall right off the bone. The cornbread was sweet and tender. The fried mac & cheese was fun. This place is definitely on our regular list.
Was knockin' back a few and gettin' outta the heat this afternoon when a couple walked in and mentioned that they came to this place because of a Yelp review. Yee-haw. This here site works!
Had the beef brisket last weekend and I have to say it was quite delicious. The meat was tender and the serving size was the right amount as well. Also you can't go wrong with fried pickles as well. In the past I've also had the burgers which are pretty good. The prices in my opinion are quite reasonable and the service is fast and friendly. Also, you wouldn't expect this but the beer selection behind the bar is pretty good. I wasn't planning on seeing Fat Tire and a Shocktop seasonal on draft. If you find yourself in the area this definitely worth a stop.

This place by far is great!!! I've been here more then four times and every time the food comes out perfect!! It's family friendly and the beer is really good!! Looking forward to going here again!!
We always have a great meal at Prost. The Jäger-Schnitzel and spatzle is the tastiest in town. They have a great beer selection. And the accordion player always keeps the place entertained. We haven't had the pleasure of attending the beer garden yet, but are planning to. It's always been too cold to sit outside.
A coworker has been talking this place up for years. We finally decided to meet up for dinner. This place lived up to her hype. Great atmosphere, staff and food. We started with the Bavarian pretzel-delicious.. The cheese spread that accompanies it is a nice change from mustard. I had the sauerbraten. The meat was so tasty, I could cut it with a fork. It came with red cabbage, not being a red cabbage fan, I asked for sauerkraut. Delicious!!! It had a surprise smoky taste and then I noticed little specs of bacon. Bacon does make everything better. Dessert did not disappoint either. I had the chocolate mousse that was enclosed in ganache. Bring your appetite or prepared for loads of leftovers. I had to take half my dinner and most of my dessert home. My only regret is that I was driving and could not have more than 1 beer. I'll be back!!

This is a nice little pizza joint. The service was friendly and the pizza was very good. I tried the Special Pizza- it had nice fresh veggies and meats.
My husband and I had the worst service here we've ever had before at a restaurant, which is pretty bad considering we're usually pretty easygoing and patient. The waitress took a very long time to get our drinks and take our order, and while the food was okay it was not worth the wait. (She brought out my food about 20 minutes before she did my husband's too.) It took her forever just to bring the check and she had one table next to us who was also getting frustrated. It probably wouldn't have been a bad experience if the service wasn't so bad and it wouldn't hurt if it were cleaner there too.
I'll bet their Pizza is great if I ever received a hot one... Tonights pizza took then an hour and 20 minutes to get to my house. I also ordered the cinamon balls because they sounded so good.... But I'll never know because the ones I got were so hard, I couldnt chew them. If when you order from this place, you have the thoughts of a hot chewy delicious pizza, get those thoughts out of your head...., it will arrive cold, hard unchewable because they use one driver, hand him 20 pizzas and tell him he can go home when hes finished. Prepare yourself for a cold, inedibble pizza that you'de swear was cooked 3 days earlier. If you are thinking about hot goo-ey delicious cinnamon balls drizzled with delicious icing..... WAKE UP..... You will get a bag of rocks that have a slight odor of cinnamon.... And whatever you do... Dont call and ask why you have to wait an hour and 20 minutes because they'll just thinking youre complaining and want free food..... The Owners dont get it! They dont realize people like hot food.... DONT COOK IT UNLESS ITS READY TO BE DELIVERED!! They cook it, let it sit for an hour and then throw 20 of them on one driver...... When people are ordering pizza, they expect it to arrive at least warm.... I'll bet its pretty decent pizza but I guess I'll never know how good it is when its hot.... Its cold leftover pizza that was cooked 3 days earlier.... Make sure youre hungry or youll just throw it away.... Like we just did again!

My service has always been great and the food isn't half bad! Music is always my style as well.
Worse bar service ever! We felt like we were imposing. Bartender stared at his phone the whole time. No eye contact at all. Quiet Sunday afternoon. We had to ask the waitress for anything we needed. She was great but the bar was not where she was working. Mussels tasted good but we had to send them back because only half were opened. They did send a new order which was fine.
Food was good, service was mediocre...suggestion for the brisket slice thinner & not against the grain.

Reviews:
The folks at the Union Hotel are so nice that I actually feel bad giving the place two stars, but the reality is I give two stars to places that "weren't bad, but weren't good so we won't be back" and that describes this place perfectly. Every time I tell someone I live in Port Deposit, they usual respond with "oh I love that little hotel place by the river" to which I always have to respond "we never go, the bikers are kind of intimidating." Had to remedy that. The good: the homemade bread was tasty, the burger was phenomenal (thick and juicy patty on a nice fresh crusty roll) and the chef had enough sense to send the kids meal out first thing. Oh, and the salad was cold and the ranch dressing was my favorite. The staff was pleasant and service was good. The okay: the 1800s thing they got going on is a-ok. The bad: the honey butter and raspberry butter? Not a fan. The pay per soda thing? Not a fan. The crab dip? NOT a fan. Small portion for the price, over seasoned, no crab in sight and served with crackers from a box. Bleh. Most disappointing of the evening was the prime rib everyone else seems to rave about. The au jus it was swimming in had an off-putting spice flavor to it - almost cinnamon-y. It was so tough I couldn't cut the damn thing with a SERRATED STEAK KNIFE. And perhaps most offensive of all - it lacked the true buttery flavor of prime rib and came with a price tag that puts most Michelin starred restaurants to shame. I ate about an eighth of it, and boxed the rest up so I could come home and try and Heinz 57 the cinnamon away. Overall the experience was nice and the folks were so hospitable I wish I could have left yearning to go back, but the price we paid for dinner for two (and a half) without booze was asinine. Will be passing in the future but hey - at least I can say I braved the bikers!
I Went there with our women's motorcycle riding group. It took us about 2 hrs to get there using back roads from mount Airy MD. It was very crowded on Sunday. The music was good to hear. We went to eat to the cabin which was better because of the loud music. I got the grilled chicken sandwich. It was kind of plain but it was good. My friend got these caramel apples on top of some kind of cheese. I'm not sure what it was called but she said it was good. She also got a piece of caramel cheesecake which I didn't like because it was salty. fries were very good. Our waitress was ok. But I think it took long to get our food. We though she forgot about us. The inside was cool to look at. But I guess I am a snob when it comes to places like this because Ive experience THE WEST SIDE INN in Massachusetts which is the same idea but a lot better and bigger. It was a cool place to go ride to thought.
Awesome place for a riding destination
