Best Chinese food I've ever had. Every one in this place is super nice. Crab crepes are delicious, wonton soup is good and I love the double cooked shrimp. Go before 3 to get lunch special price.

Fabulous sushi, though it is a Chinese and Japanese restaurant. Dynamite was delicious. Spicy rolls were all great, especially the chef's special volcano. The wait staff was amazingly helpful in choices and friendly and efficient in service

Okay food but Terrible customer service. It seems as if they were very accommodating, talkative and friendly only to their white customers on the day that I was there. I dont know the exact reason why. I dont know if they're racist of black people or just afraid of black people. You cant win them all. It was very disappointing to experience this. I have no desire to go back at this moment. I hope they read this and reconsider how they treat their customers of all colors and backgrounds.

For the price of the food, I am not a fan. I have ordered from here twice where I have tried both the General Tso's and the Sesame Chicken. Both times, the chickens have been very dry in the center, which may be due to lack of freshness. And the wonton soup I ordered was interesting...i expected beef wontons to be wrapped. What I got were shreds of the roasted pork and noodles. However, for a restaurant in the area of Pasadena, MD, this place is pretty decent. It is just a little pricey for the quantity/quality of food. I'd probably dine here because they seem to be on top of their service, and the place looks clean.

Didn't get the sushi - probably was a mistake, based on other reviews on this site, but was mislead by the restaurant name into thinking it was a place to buy Chinese food. But none of the traditional Chinese dishes I bought as take-out were very good (ordered spicy beef with broccoli, General Tso's, shrimp with vegetables, two different soups). I lived in New York and traveled in Asia a lot for work. I have lived and worked in various spots in the U.S. not known for Chinese food. As such, I have experienced both good and bad Chinese food abroad, and have experienced a mixed bag with American restaurant Chinese food as well. Usually, if you order a variety, at least something is really good. Not so here on this one occasion. What might explain the difference between my experience and that of other reviewers who rave about the place? We went in late on a weeknight - according to the sign on the door, they were still open for 25 more minutes, but the hostess refused to serve us in the restaurant. She would accept takeout orders, however. I was there for the first time and only because it was a fundraiser, so I ordered for takeout so the nonprofit group would still get credit. Not friendly, not accommodating. Food not very good. Haven't gone back. Maybe this a good place to go at 6:30 p.m., but avoid Szechuan Cafe if it's getting late. And maybe don't order the Chinese food.

Favorite Chinese restaurant in Pasadena. They have great quality food and the service is excellent. They are all very friendly and accommodating. Very fresh sushi. Great big food portions.

We've had Chinese food from Chinatowns in various cities like San Fran, Seattle, NYC, etc. and this place is just OK (and OK only because of its location). Hot & Sour soup was good, but on the sweet side. Mongolian beef and sesame chicken was doused in sauce Chicken lo mein was tasteless Chicken fried rice was really dark brown and disgusting tasting This place is just marginally better tasting than other Chinese places that are simply awful in the area.

This place used to be the best around. However, they're slipping. I say that because the past few times I've gone in there's been one waitress that's really rude. She's younger, thin and never smiles. Her service is lackluster and she acts like you're a bother to her. Also, as one reviewer stated, you feel cramped and shoved in there. This is especially true, if the place is crowded. All in all, there's better choices now. In fact East Moon Bistro in Glen Burnie is much better.

The food is wonderful and the owner is super nice!!!! Beautiful atmosphere and the prices are fair. Great service!!! High quality chinese food and superb sushi in Anne Arundel County!!! One of my favorite spots!!!

a good find. Good sushi ( I used to be addicted to ordering carry out sushi there before we moved) and the Chinese food is really good! I love places that have sushi and Chinese food because lets face it, we love them both and don't mind the cross cultures!

Do yourself a favor and make the drive to Pasadena to eat at Szechuan Cafe! First of all, every dish i have ever had here is flavorful and delicious. The sushi menu is large (just like the rolls!) with many choices and it is always always fresh. The service is the best i have ever had! The waiters will make jokes and treat you like you are long lost friends. Also, the owner, Mr Tim, is the biggest sweetheart EVER! One night he sat down with us and discussed his business and how he got started. He told us that he travels to china ever few months in order to collect spices and ingredients for his dishes, and decor for the restaurant. Mr. Tim also told us that most of the staff have been there for many many years, so that must be a testament to how the employees are treated. And it shows! what a happy place. I went to Szechuan Cafe for my birthday and my party group was treated very well. We received a huge plate of fried dough and sugar, and they played a happy birthday song for me over the speakers.. OH and did i mention the Sake Bombs? Nothing else would do until me and my whole group did sake bombs with Mr Tim and the whole staff. (all complements of Mr Tim!) In fact, don't be surprised when you hit off on a convo with Mr. Tim he wont want to do some sake bombs with you. I LOVE this place! every time we go we are greeted with hugs from the staff, and just over an all over welcoming feeling.. And I know I'm not alone, when I sit there and watch other people come in, they are greeted with the same enthusiasm.. Oh also, the prices are right on! so you will eat delish food fit for a king, without the big price tag.

Sushi or Chinese.. It really does not matter because they are both really good. I really like the food here. My only wish would be for them to move back to Glen Burnie!

Four out of five stars means it's a winner. This place has sushi to rival anything in downtown Annapolis with an above average specialty roll selection to go along with all the usual suspects. I held back one star for the strip mall location and slow initial service, we were greeted and poured water immediately, bu then it was ten minutes before we placed our order for drinks appetizer and sushi all at the same time. Other than that, everything was great. We met the owner at the end of our meal and had previously overheard him explaining the freshness of their sushi to a carry-out customer. Evidently they make everything to order, even the common rolls. The pricing was higher than average for the size of the specialty rolls, but they were very good. The Green Ocean roll is the only one (out of six) that we didn't like. I ate it though, for what it's worth. We also had: - The Ultimate Tuna - Chesapeake Roll - Green River Roll - Fancy Dragon - Boston Roll ...they were all good.

This restaurant has become one of my favorites. Remember the days of good service and good food. When you go to the Szechuan Cafe that is exactly what you get. It's hard to believe that this restaurant is in Pasadena (no offense). I must also mention the sushi is very good. This restaurant obviously takes pride in thier food and service.

My boyfriend and I stopped in yesterday around 4:00pm - sat at the sushi bar - service was great and the food was even better!! We tried the wonton soup - very good. We tried 3 different sushi rolls - all 3 were excellent. The staff came over and talked to us - made us feel very welcome - we will make this a regular spot for us!!!

This was one of my favorite restaurants in Pasadena! Even though I moved to Howard County I still drive all this way to enjoy the food.

  • Kevin L.

If you want good food, Chinese, or sushi, this is the place to go. The food is great, and different from what you will normally find in most Chinese restaurants. General Tso's chicken is out of this world. The sauce is unique, and tastes better then any other I have tried. The Singapore noodles are fantastic. The BEST is the crispy fish... BUT, be warned, I got the flounder and it was enough to feed four people! It also takes a while to cook the fish, so if you order, be patient.

After the closing of Jade Garden, I had been looking for a great shrimp chow-mien that would be comparable. Jade was always my favorite, with the best beef Yat-gaw-mien I've ever had. Great shrimp toast and egg rolls. I have to say that I was impressed by the Szechuan Cafe. the shrimp chow-mien was fantastic! Great service, good prices, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Szechuan Cafe is one of our favorite restaurants. Every dish we have had has been flavorful. I rate Chinese restaurants by th Wonton Soup and theirs is some of the best I have ever had. It may seem strange but the Sushi ranks with the best I ever ate. We will often go just for the Sushi. I took a guest from Austin who is connoisseur of Sushi when she visited in August. She was very skeptical about Sushi at a Chinese restaurant. She left saying it was some of the best she had ever eaten. The owner and the wait staff are always personable and treat you like family. We have never been disappointed.

  • Mandy S.

Their sushi is the best! Their cooked food is good as well, but the sushi is where it's at. Tim, the owner, comes and greets you at the table, and everyone there is really friendly and welcoming. It's almost always packed, but you usually don't have to wait long for a table.

  • M R.

If not the best sushi I have ever had, definitely one of the best. california roll, philadelphia roll and spicy tuna were delicious. Mongolian beef had good taste but I like it lightly fried and slightly crispy like PF Changs and Pei Wei. Even the egg roll was delicious.

    (4)
  • Brouck K.

Very good sushi and egg rolls beat out all the other Chinese competition in the area. We love this place. Definitely a nice/fun dining experience. Try the seaweed calamari salad.

Best place to eat in Pasadena. Mr Tim is a wonderful man and his staff is always so nice. They remember who you are when you enter the Restaurant and they always make you feel welcome. Mr Tim is always there with a smile on his face and he even had a saki bomb with me during my last visit. I love their food.

    (5)
  • Zo T.

Was told this was the best sushi in Pasadena. I would definitely disagree although Pasadena doesn't have many options for sushi. The rice to fish ratio is off, so you're eating a lot of rice and a little bit of fish. The Chinese food is not great but was plated very nicely. The service was slow and the waiter couldn't really speak English.

Yelp, you never steer me wrong. We always go to the same places to eat when visiting my parents. We decided to go out of the box and try Szechuan Cafe. Awsome! First we ordered home made egg rolls with fresh tasting cabbage a nice size shrimp, fried perfectly. Also had wonton soup also above average. The real treat came when our sushi order arrives (picture included above) and a lucky family. The lucky family was a bit different than most in a good way. The picture of the sushi says it all. Again thanks Yelp for your help in finding a new favorite place to go!

  • Haley M.

The owner (Tim) is so friendly and so amazing! And I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and food. Everything is fresh and delicious (sushi and all!!) It was totally packed tonight and Tim kept us all entertained and full of sake bombs. You can tell that it is all about making the customers happy, even under super crowded circumstances. I love coming here and you will too. 5 stars all around. I do suggest the orange chicken and the ultimate tuna roll or the Tim roll! But everything on the menu is delicious so really you can't go wrong. Amazing! Just absolutely amazing! It would be cool if they offered happy hour sushi rolls though!

Based on other Yelper's, we tried this place. First thing I noticed, the owner knew his customers names. So I'm imagining he must have quite a few regulars if he knows them by name. If he has that many regulars, the food must be dynamite. Second thing I noticed, from the owners to the workers, they all had a great sense of humor. The place was packed on the day before thanksgiving, but the atmosphere was light and friendly. It's hard to describe why it stuck out in my mind, but it was pretty neat. Third thing was my food was ready when they said it would be. And then the food! It was delicious. Soup, egg rolls, spring rolls, main dishes... All wonderful. For a place to be ranked 4 stars after 50+ reviews on Yelp, you figure it must be good and it didn't disappoint. Even though I live in Arnold, I'll keep driving here for my Chinese food. Endorsements don't get better than that.

The boss was very rude and very unfriendly. I also don't like the way he talks to his subordinates. The waiters were very kind and in overall they have a very good food quality. I give 2 stars because of the boss's improper attitude (he also has a horrible accent).

    (2)

Tried items from both the Chinese menu and the sushi menu. The Chinese is fantastic, but I would definitely go around the corner for sushi. Steep prices, but a nice restaurant with attentive staff.

Loved this place the first time we went. Not so much this time. Service was extremely slow, tables that ordered 10 minutes after us had food before we did. Glasses sat empty for long periods. My fiancé' ordered sushi, and despite clarifying twice for the waitress he only wanted 2 six-counts, she brought out three. His sushi came out way before the appetizers did. Appetizers finally came, he was nearly done with his sushi. My entree showed up probably 20 minutes after the appetizers did. By then, we just boxed it up to go. I did try one piece of the General Tso's before boxing it up, all gristle. Probably just going to go into the trash at home. Waitress charged us for the wrong appetizer, I was looking over the check and made mention to my fiancé. Our waitress was at a nearby table cleaning it, and she immediately came over and started getting defensive about the prices. I told her it was fine, I wasn't concerned, just making an observation. Apparently, that wasn't acceptable because she went and got the menu which she proceeded to shove in my face to show that the price of both appetizers was the same. She just didn't feel like correcting it on the receipt. Super slow service, lousy waitress, and now take-out grade food. We'll pass on this place. Guess one time was the charm.

Szechuan Cafe never disappoints us. We do not go out to eat very often; but when we have guests from out of town, a birthday, or other special occasion to celebrate with eating out, we go to Szechuan Cafe. *The food is hot when they serve it to you. I've never had a restaurant serve the food as hot as they do. *The owner always greets us at least once during the meal. You feel taken care of and special. * A good amount of people go through the restaurant. In my mind, that means the food is more likely to be fresh. * I like the decor. It's more of a family-friendly restaurant with friendly noise than a quiet, subdued restaurant - though my husband and I go there in a heartbeat for a romantic meal. I think the food is delicious, but I do not order that much variety. The last time I ordered the avocado sushi, the chunks of avocado were very generous. The spring roll appetizers were hot and crisp.

Just so-so on the last couple of rounds, and their prices are a little higher than Ming's Cafe (and Ming's delivers) so this is now our 2nd place choice for Chinese.

I have eaten their many times and have always found the food to be extremely good. Their shrimp egg rolls are really good as is the wonton soup.

Update review I know it's been a while but the boyfriend asked to go here again as he said the pepper steak is delicious. Taste like the one he used to get at the mall food quart somewhere in baltimore. So we're ordering tonight for dinner and this time in getting beef lo main!!!! Praying this has flavor as that was my issue last time I ordered lemon chicken. It was tasteless so beef lo main I'll get this time & couple sushi pieces :))

Mr. Tim is awesome and the food is fantastic! We love their "sushi." We don't do the raw meat sushi but we love their Baltimore roll. It is SOOOOO good!!! Highly recommend :)

I ordered the beef and scallop combo, which was labeled "mildly spicy" let me tell ya, either I am the weakest person ever for spices, or they drowned it in that sauce. So why the 5 star review you ask? It was so good despite the hot hot heat and the fact that tears were literally falling from my eyes, that I ended up eating every.last.bite. and I would do it all over again, it was that good. I cannot wait to try the sushi, in fact, I know whats for dinner tomorrow!

  • Tanya C.

I have been a patron of this five-star restaurant for over 8 years and have always been treated with respect, professionalism, and kindness-- by all staff members and both of the owners. NEVER has there ever been a discriminatory act delivered by the staff-- as Katy T. seemed to believe! I know this because I happen to be of African descent (Black). The owners always greet me with a smile and/or hug! Now, if you want quality food deliciously prepared, then you come here. The atmosphere is welcoming and absolutely beautiful! As an added plus, you also get fair pricing! ALL are welcome here!

Wow! My search for good Chinese since moving here from Philly 11 years ago has finally ended! We went for dinner on Christmas and gave Szechuan Cafe a shot based on the mostly positive reviews on Yelp. We were not disappointed! The appetizers were out of this world- both Chinese and sushi rolls were delish! For the entree, I had a special, chicken and shrimp and asparagus with a brown sauce. It was very good -the shrimp were succulent and perfectly cooked. My husband and daughter shared the orange chicken which knocked my socks off. Large chunks of white meat chicken cooked perfectly crisp but very tender. Lol, I'm getting that next time! The Chinese fried dough was a perfect little sweet treat to finish the meal. Service was also very very good even though it was crowded on Christmas night. Our waitress Michelle was prompt and attentive and did not forget anything. We will definitely be back and hopefully soon!

Things to love about this place: -The owner, Mr. Tim will take care of you cuz he cares about his customers & he's a sweetheart! -THE SUGAR DOUGHNUTS (you have to try them) -The sushi rules, its always fresh. -The food portions will feed you for at least two days -Family owned restaurant that has delicous food. -The "locals" or the people who grew up in the area and will make the hour commute just to have the food (i.e. ME)! Try this place out, you will most definitely not be disappointed.

  • Katie G.

I was so excited to try this because I'm new to town but this was not what it was cracked up to be. The Szechuan chicken combo only had 3 pieces of chicken and is swimming in sauce. The rice tasted old and the egg rolls had shrimp in it. They should probably advertise that since a lot of people have shrimp allergies .. Like me. If I wouldn't have caught that my throat would've started closing. The only saving grace was the wonton soup.., that was it.

    (2)
  • Grady S.

I absolutely love this place. Fantastic food, great atmosphere and fair prices. If I want chinese food or good sushi, this is my "go to" place! My favorite is probably the orange chicken, but everything I have eaten has been delicious!

    (5)
  • Guy F.

This is the best Chinese food place around here. Great food portions and reasonable prices. Extra spicy Chicken lo mein is my go to, can't beat it. Sushi here is not the best, but it's not bad either... but I dont consider it a sushi place.

I am not one to complain about food or service but need to share the bad experience we had at Szechuan Cafe. We had a order for eight that was not taken correctly. When we drove back to get the order correct we pointed out that they assumed we wanted sushi instead of the entree the manager and owner were beyond rude. They asked 'I guess for YOU were should have asked if you wanted something that was not on the menu." The conversation ended "with do you want the food or not." Decent food but HORRIBLE customer service and we will never go back and tell our friends to stay away. Hello Olive and Sesame!

    (1)
  • Pete J.

The last time I ate here it was below average. Cold wonton soup and bad orange chicken, Because of the the positive Yelp reviews I decided to try again. I ordered a the Yaki Udon and Miso soup and my wife ordered the sweet and sour shrimp/chicken and spring rolls. The Miso soup tasted great. The Yaki Udon had a brown soy sauce that was too salty for my taste. The sauce was overhweming and too away from the vegetables, noodles and the meat. The chicken tasted good but the shrimp were very rubbery. Was not entirely impressed with the dish. Wife thought the sweet and sour shrimp/chicken was ok, just ok. The spring rolls were good. I'm more impressed than the last time but still dont think its amazing.

  • Alysia P.

This is the place to eat! Best company and service I could ever ask for. With the allergies I have its really hard to find places to eat that are delicious as well as awesome to go to. Mr. Tim and Jen make that happen. I recommend this restaurant to everyone I meet. 10 stars isn't on option on yelp but for Szechuan Cafe it should be.

Hands down the best Chinese food in Pasadena. And possibly Baltimore Annapolis region. The decor here is simple and plain, the customer service here is outstanding. And there has never been a time i felt tipping below 20% wasn't needed. The owner is generally there and he'll stop by and say hello or goodbye adding a homey touch on the visit. They do also offer a whole bar with higher end Remy Martin on display in the dining room. There is so many times I've ate here and there isn't a time that quality has ever suffered. Their rice dishes is amazing well made and well when paired with their dishes. I generally will order house fried rice ( small ) for $6 this is a meal in it's own. General Tso's, Kung Pow, Sweet and Sour , Beef and broccoli and so much more are done well. Misu Soup here is good and their egg rolls are prefect. Sushi here is fair. It's not on the level as Olive and Sesame but it's good too. House special rolls are generally good but the average rolls like California and spicy tuna lack. But they are always prepared fresh, a huge plus. This place is a gem honestly after they moved to this location i felt gifted it was so close to my family's home. This is a must try,

A friend told me about this place and I tried it. Food is fresh which is hard to find. I have ate at many chinese places and this inst one of my picks. I had the hunan chicken and it didnt have much flavor. Cant say I have felt the urge to ever go back. Staff is friendly

I got here prior to 3 pm and by the time they sat us, it was 3:01 and they refused to let us order lunch and were rude about it. I had heard really good things about the place, but will not accept rude treatment, so they are missing what would probably have been a lot of business. So I'm headed to Olive and Sesame up the street!!! Rude.

Schechuan Cafe's sushi quality is one of the best I have had (even as carry out). Their Volcano Roll is the best version I have ever ordered, and the Pink Lady Roll is always a must try for all kinds of sushi eaters. The employees are super friendly and accommodating.

This is the best Chinese food restaurant that I have ever been to. The service is very fast and the servers are very friendly and polite. The food is perfect and costs hardly anything. Their soup and chicken is the best. The restaurant is decorated very nicely and is laid out good. The restaurant is a good size and is not too big or small.

I have been here many times and have always been very happy with everything! It's so pretty and well decorated inside that you would expect a pricey menu but the prices are very low considering the huge portions they give you. The waitresses are all very friendly and helpful. Even when they're busy, service is still great. Over all this restaurant is very impressive and definitely one of the best places to eat in Pasadena.

This restaurant was packed on a Wednesday night at 6:15. They must be doing something right. We were seated right away, practically on top of another table. Let's just say I could have easily taken my fork and helped myself to their meal. This is not private, romantic, or even required personal space dining. It reminded me of a cafeteria seating area. Our waiter was polite and kind, but obviously over whelmed. He brought the wrong wine, took our order and then proceeded to handle his other tables for 10min before he put our order in or got the correct wine, and ran around like crazy for our whole meal. We started with the steamed dumplings, which were okay. Typical, didn't look house made, and not even worth what I've already written. I had the Singapore Style Rice noodles. I thought they were bland, but cooked well and plenty of protein. My husband ordered a variety of sushi. The rice they use is excellent. The sushi went over really well. I will stick with the sushi next time we order from here....carryout of course. I'm not into community dining rooms.

This has got to be one of my most favorite Chinese restaurants, as far as traditional restaurants go. The food is always amazing and they will make just about anything you might want that isn't on the menu. Sushi is extremely fresh and they are very accommodating about changing something up, which is a major plus especially for people that are picky about their food. Great prices and excellent service!

I have only been there twice. Both times for lunch. I was surprised the 2nd time that they remembered me. The hostess said she would sit meat the same place I sat the 1st time. And she did. Lunch was very good. Next time I want to try the sushi.

you'd think by the name this is a Chinese restaurant, and they do have Chinese food, but we come to eat sushi. The scallop rolls are super delicious, so be sure to get those. Everything else is good to great. The staff is all Chinese but who expects to find japanese waiters in Glen Bunie? Our last visit there were five of us and the bill came to $150 which included two mix drinks--pretty expensive, eh? Hiyah!

Wow. They have some great customer service. I have been in 3 times in the last 2 weeks and each time they go above and beyond. First I am a vegetarian and the owner let me know the different options I have when ordering my food. He also took the time to explain the differences on several items off of the menu. PS. The food is great too!

Who knew you could have such amazing sushi so far away from a major metro area! We've been eating at the pizza place next door for a while now and on a whim decided to give the sushi a try. We were extremely satisfied and would definitely rank their food as one of the best. Had several different sushi roll varieties and all of them were excellent. Huge portions! The shrimp fried rice was also tops. The staff was friendly and efficient. What a great find!

I am new to the area and was keeping an eye out for local Chinese food and this one rated better than any around. Based on those reviews I decided to head in and sample the cuisine. I am a die hard sesame chicken and I always order this so that I can compare something across all restaurants I visit. I ordered the fried crab meat crepes and the chicken lo mein as well. Now, the sesame chicken was very good and had a nice crispy-ness to it. However, I was disappointed in the crab meat crepes and lo mein. I'll give this place a fair shake and try them again with a wider assortment. Decent start but just wasn't wowed.

Fabulous sushi, though it is a Chinese and Japanese restaurant. Dynamite was delicious. Spicy rolls were all great, especially the chef's special volcano. The wait staff was amazingly helpful in choices and friendly and efficient in service

I have only been there twice. Both times for lunch. I was surprised the 2nd time that they remembered me. The hostess said she would sit meat the same place I sat the 1st time. And she did. Lunch was very good. Next time I want to try the sushi.

If not the best sushi I have ever had, definitely one of the best. california roll, philadelphia roll and spicy tuna were delicious. Mongolian beef had good taste but I like it lightly fried and slightly crispy like PF Changs and Pei Wei. Even the egg roll was delicious.

In fact East Moon Bistro in Glen Burnie is much better.

you'd think by the name this is a Chinese restaurant, and they do have Chinese food, but we come to eat sushi. The scallop rolls are super delicious, so be sure to get those. Everything else is good to great. The staff is all Chinese but who expects to find japanese waiters in Glen Bunie? Our last visit there were five of us and the bill came to $150 which included two mix drinks--pretty expensive, eh? Hiyah!

This restaurant has become one of my favorites. Remember the days of good service and good food. When you go to the Szechuan Cafe that is exactly what you get.

Their sushi is the best! Their cooked food is good as well, but the sushi is where it's at. Tim, the owner, comes and greets you at the table, and everyone there is really friendly and welcoming. It's almost always packed, but you usually don't have to wait long for a table.

Rude.

Ordered sushi from here to go and it was VERY good. I had the Baltimore roll and Philly roll. Both were delicious but I especially liked the Baltimore roll. Not too much old bay. I'd recommend.

I have been here many times and have always been very happy with everything! It's so pretty and well decorated inside that you would expect a pricey menu but the prices are very low considering the huge portions they give you. The waitresses are all very friendly and helpful. Even when they're busy, service is still great. Over all this restaurant is very impressive and definitely one of the best places to eat in Pasadena.

a good find. Good sushi ( I used to be addicted to ordering carry out sushi there before we moved) and the Chinese food is really good! I love places that have sushi and Chinese food because lets face it, we love them both and don't mind the cross cultures!

If not the best sushi I have ever had, definitely one of the best. california roll, philadelphia roll and spicy tuna were delicious. Mongolian beef had good taste but I like it lightly fried and slightly crispy like PF Changs and Pei Wei. Even the egg roll was delicious.

  • Steph S.

In fact East Moon Bistro in Glen Burnie is much better.

you'd think by the name this is a Chinese restaurant, and they do have Chinese food, but we come to eat sushi. The scallop rolls are super delicious, so be sure to get those. Everything else is good to great. The staff is all Chinese but who expects to find japanese waiters in Glen Bunie? Our last visit there were five of us and the bill came to $150 which included two mix drinks--pretty expensive, eh? Hiyah!

Their sushi is the best! Their cooked food is good as well, but the sushi is where it's at. Tim, the owner, comes and greets you at the table, and everyone there is really friendly and welcoming. It's almost always packed, but you usually don't have to wait long for a table.
