This place seriously does some business. It was packed. Food is diner quality and probably the best you could get at that high commercial level. Fantastic job on over easy eggs. If your looking for something to eat diner style this is the place. But remember .....its a diner.

Love this place. Great for families and have reasonable prices! I go here at least once a week.

We came in with 2 small children and they seated us at a round table. Anyone with kids knows a round table is difficult to manage. When we sat down we noticed the floor was really dirty and there was a few dirty utensils under the table. The waitress had little knowledge of the menu. I asked her if the spinach was fresh and she said yes. When we got the plate of food the spinach was not only cooked but looked like a pile of crap in a bowl. The chicken sandwich we ordered came with nothing but grilled chicken and bread. No lettuce or tomato. My husband ordered 2 eggs and sausage and when his food came out they had given him extra food he didn't order nor did he want, which would have cost us extra. Overall, the food was mediocre and way overpriced, the service was slow and lacked basic knowledge. Even the manager at the register struggled with basic register usage. We won't be returning.

Where to start? I keep odd hours, so I appreciate a 24-hour restaurant, and particularly one with variety and generous portions. Strengths: * great breakfasts, any time * good-to-great sautés and any other dishes done by the sauté chef * good-to-great salads and desserts * good (not my expertise to say more) Greek food * friendly service, and they get to know regulars (but make allowances when it's busy!) Weaknesses: * a diner probably isn't the best place to get a great steak. :-) Order a bit rarer than you would at a steakhouse, and it will probably be ok. * the cream soups seem to be more filler (flour?) plus butter rather than cream-based Neither, but be aware: * sauté chef hours roughly 11:30am-9:30pm (hour later Saturday and Sunday) - that's when everything is available; there's still plenty other hours, but less of their best * veggie and soup selection may be reduced by 1:30am * early Monday morning around 2:00am-5:am they're usually sort of closed for deep cleaning; they _might_ let you in then if they know you, and if you don't mind the smell of bleach; but probably not. * seafood is ok-to-good; but just like it's not a steakhouse, it's not really a seafood specialty place, although the seafood sauté dishes are still yummy. They do have a selection of alcoholic beverages, but for some reason, that's not something I've ever had there, so I can't comment on it. I usually drink iced tea in a restaurant (unsweetened = zero calories, free refills), and theirs is basic but fine, if somewhat variable in strength. Bottom line: if you get hungry at odd hours, or don't know what you want, or have a group with a variety of tastes, this is the go-to place in the area. And for some of the sauté dishes and desserts, they're definitely up there with the best in the area. Probably want to call ahead for a large group - I've seen them handle it, but I've never gone with a large group myself.

Went for breakfast... even tho the ratings told me not too... i thought that it would be difficult to screw up bfast... The staff and customers were very nice!! Treated everyone like regulars... I ordered the Double T Bfast special... which u can get pancakes or french toast, eggs, two meats and hashbrowns (they call them home fries). Hashbrowns were yummy and seasoned. French toast was so good. It had cinnamon and the bread was thick... texas toast kinda bread. I really enjoyed this place and I'll be back. I don't see how their reviews are so terrible. The pricing on that meal was really good. I can't remember the exact price but I remember thing... "dang, all that for that." Desserts look tastey but I didn't try any... this time around.

I really enjoyed my Double T Special breakfast of pancakes, scrabmled eggs with cheddar, bacon and sausage. I knew this place was going to be a hit for me as soon as I realized they have real cheddar cheese and real butter, both of these items instantaneously bumps up my eating experience to pleasurable. Portions are large, service was great and he diner is retro cute.

Stopped by after years away and was happy to see the Double T is still holding to the old fashion diner tradition. We had breakfast. The double T special is priced right and is enough food for two folks unless you are really hungry. The Greek omelet is awesome. The service was very good. They also sport a large selection of cakes and pastries. Breakfast is 24 hours.

What's the fuss about? This place couldn't be that bad, I couldn't find a place to park my car. Tried the chicken soulvaki which was very good. It came with fries that were served piping hot. The tzaziki sauce was good as well. Pita was served fresh. Greek salad was a little less desirable, hence the 4 star review. I am as critical as they come. This place was delicious. If you are looking for something cheap, go to McDonald's.

Love this place, my family I and enjoy the food so much it's hard to try new places. The reason we love the Pasadena Double T is because it has something for everyone. First, all the meals come with a soup and the soups are all homemade. I love their crab cakes, my wife loves their Cobb salad. The great thing about this place is that its family run which means it's very clean. The service is great. I also love their crab dip. A must try.

There are so many things wrong with this place, I don't know where to start. But if I have to start somewhere, it's the fact that there wasn't a dish served that was freshly made. However, they do manage to charge you as if they are. I can only blame myself because all the signs of an impending disaster were everywhere. Slovenly staff, a menu the size of a phone book, and prices way too high for a diner. I should have left, but, pure laziness and a morbid curiosity made me stay. Don't make the same mistake I made. Your colon will thank you.

Good not great food at a slightly steep price by Glen Burnie standards. I had the penny omelette which had scrapple, mushrooms, peppers, cheese. Eggs were seasoned well, scrapple was decent, mushrooms were canned which is enough to knock a star off for me. Home fries were ace. Not the best, but pretty prettay good. Avoid the biscuit at all cost. Very voluminous and certainly filling but so bland and lacking in butter/fat. You can add all the butter to it you want, but the gluten structure on the outside of these things were almost like bread or a roll, and not in a good way. The service is certainly diner-appropriate meaning the level of good service you get is commensurate with how much of a regular you are. There are a lot of regulars here, at least at 9:00 am on a Friday morning. The space is open and comfortable. Decor is somewhere between greasy spoon and casino buffet. Cleaner than most mom-and-pop diners, probably same cleanliness as Denny's or IHOP.

I have eaten at the Diner many times and have never been disappointed. I tend to get the same thing...patty melt... because the menu it so large I get overwhelmed but the best thing about the Diner is the commitment to community. They care about children with cancer. Thank you for your great food and support of tiny cancer heroes. Robin W.

Horrific Experience! I grew up in New Jersey, the diner capital of the world and I know a thing or two about diners. This wannabe diner does not measure up at all. Since we don't have many diner options here in Maryland I patronize it from time to time. The food is never that good but today was the worst experience. I looked over the menu and saw that there was a stuffed pork chop special. I asked the server, who spoke horrible English by the way, about the way the pork chops were prepared. He told me he would check with the chef. He later returned to tell me the special was not available today. I asked to speak with the manager who confirmed the same. I asked the manager if I could have the regular pork chop entree for the same price as the special since the special was unavailable. He told me no. His lack of concern for me and my money was disappointing to say the least so I left. I WILL NEVER RETURN. BAD FOOD + POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE = GO SOMEPLACE ELSE.

This place is amazing. I'm sick of all the chain restaurants. This a a family business Great service. The waitress was awesome and was great with my children. The manager was around to every table, when's the last time you seen that at a place. The food was awesome, had the crab dip which was really good. My husband had the crab cake and I had the jambalaya. My children had the pancakes which were amazing. The best part about it was the prices we're affordable for a family of four. I will be back.

Love this place. The food is great and homemade. I love their salads, but my favorite is the jumbo stuffed shrimp with jumbo lump crabmeat. The service is on point and the diner is always kept clean. A must try!!

Definitely not the best. I've only been to Double T twice in my life, so I can't say that I'm a regular. So I don't know exactly what to expect. I came here with my sister, her husband, and her 3 kids (one being 5 months old, and wouldn't be eating anything). I told the server that my order is to be separate from theirs, he says "Okay." I order the fried shrimp basket, which comes with soup (I ordered the New England clam chowder) and an unsweetened iced tea. We waited a good 30 minutes for the food to arrive, and when it did, it was blah. The fried shrimp was more breading than shrimp, which put me off. I couldn't eat them all, and I did not feel satisfied. We waited an additional 30 minutes after eating for the check, which the server did not separate, claiming, "We don't do separate checks here." What? I have never heard of a restaurant that did not separate checks, and if they did, he should have warned me before I placed my order. When we looked at the receipt, we saw why: a mandatory 18% tip for our party of five. Now, I realize that servers work hard, and I always tip for good service. But a forced tip for passable service, without honoring my request for a split check? Nope. My brother-in-law explained that I wanted my check to be separate, and he did not appreciate being scammed out of an 18% tip, but the management refused to listen, and made him pay. So we all agreed that we will patronize businesses that truly value our business and don't see a need to scam us out of 18%. It's been real, Double T, but I won't be back.

I've always had great luck at this restaurant until today. The prime rib special was not very good. Overcooked, rubbery and grilled. It's no longer a prime rib when it's grilled. I think it was left over from yesterday due the lack of quality in the meat. Because I've had many great meals here, I will return. I hope this is not a sign that the diner is going downhill.

The service was pretty good,I had the BLT it was decent ,but could use a bit more bacon. My daughter had the doule t breakfast and she enjoyed it,my wife ordered the greek chicken( she didn't like it at all) so i ate it, it was so so. My other daughter had a bacon cheese burger she said it was very good. overall it was a ok experience.

An amazing menu! Everything you could possibly want. The food is good, not great. The service is usually prompt and efficient. This location is open 24 hours - which makes it a great find for late night eats.

I had late night craving for food (9pm - I go to bed early), and I spotted this diner on the road. It was right across the street from the Glory Days Grill/Bar where I had my Google Maps set originally. From my past experiences, diner food has been more reliable than food at a bar (even though I haven't been to many diners - it was too late to think). Another side note, I only noticed Glory Days Bar's Yelp deal for $5 appetizers after 9pm after I had sat down and ordered at Double T Diner. So I immediately regretted my decision, but I kept a very open mind to the food I just ordered. I forgot the name of the burger because there were just so many menu options. My burger had swiss cheese, sauerkraut and thousand island dressing. It also came with fries, cole slaw and a soup. I didn't read the menu carefully, but I was pleased to learn about the soup - I got the spinach cream. When it came, the soup didn't have any steam coming from it. I also performed the microwave test by touching my bowl to see if it was hot. The bowl was not hot and the soup was not hot. I had a few bites and I put it aside. When my server came by, she asked if the soup was alright. I would've given a more in-depth answer rather than my "good" if she had stood in front of me when she asked the question. Instead, she was walking by me while she asked. Okay, no biggie. I wasn't here for the soup. I was here for a burger and fries. The burger and fries came. The fries felt a bit warm - not hot and fresh out of the fryer. And the burger...drum roll....was missing the beef patty! I only noticed this after 2 bites, as I thought the cheese engulfed the patty (there was a lot of cheese). The owner and server apologized and the kitchen cooked me a new burger with a new batch of fried fries - so the french fries this time around were hot. Another upside was the bathroom was clean and it seems like the manager kept the place tidy. The bottle of ketchup could use a wipe down. All in all, it seems like they try but they could probably do better.

The only reason this is getting a 2 star is because it wasn't so bad that it would be a 1. Coming in the door we were approached by the very unfriendly hostess. So once we sit down the waitress comes by and asks if we are ready to order. Which was fine but by the time we got our food so much was forgotten. Our New England clam chowder tasted like it was a creamy chicken noodle. My meal was descent. Not worth what I paid by any means and my wife's was not to her liking. The food was to say the least very sub par and the service was ok at best. But what really got me was the hostess when we were leaving. I asked if this establishment offered a military discount. I was answered with a snarl and "no only senior citizens get a discount here". So besides the snarkiness it boggles my mind how you can give someone a discount because they are old but not to the once that want to defend the country. So unless you are in dire need stay away from the double terrible diner

The meal I ordered turkey with stuffing. The turkey was delish but the stuffing was a sweet stuffing with raisins which I didn't care for I like a sage stuffing. It's a matter of taste I guess.

I have been here twice. The prices are very reasonable and the food is alright. There are so many items on the menu, I think it must be difficult to maintain consistency. The waitstaff is sincere, but there are so many items, they don't know the menu very well (which is understandable because of it's enormity). First time: It was 'pasta' night. I ordered the penne/butter&garlic/italian sausage. It comes with a salad. The salad dressings seem to be made from scratch. I had the honey-mustard. The portions are more than adequate. I had to take some home (I'm 6'1", 260lbs and like to eat). My only complaint would be that there was a little too much butter/garlic sauce. After eating a bit, I noticed the bottom was kind of swimming in it...like I said, a little too much. Second time: I had the baby-back full rack of ribs with double broccoli (you get two sides and salad). The meat was very tender, fell easily off the bone, not too much sauce, not too little. I had a cup of coffee and a water. I like the old-time diner ambiance with all the chrome fixtures. The places appears clean from the dining point of view, and doesn't stink like burnt fry-oil (like many diners do). I imagine this place is fantastic at 2am, after a night at the bar, as they are open 24/7. As for "price for experience" ratio, I give it the 4 stars. It is a diner, not meant to be 'fine dining'. They could get 5 stars by cutting down the menu and increase the quality of food preparation a little bit.

The folks that own this place are Greek and I love the Greeks! Usually anyone who is Greek knows their food. This place was just Meh. The owners are nice enough people and the wait staff is decent. The food is just not great maybe there are too many things on the menu for the chefs in the kitchen to keep consistent in their cooking? I don't know. Maybe it was an off day.

I have been to this location twice and will not go again. The first time they brought me something I didn't order. This last time the service was terrible and the food was nasty! The only thing that was somewhat bearable to eat was the cup of soup! The french fries were soggy and seemed under cooked. I will not recommend this place to anyone nor will I ever go back! I will go elsewhere when I want to go to a diner!

The food here was really good in the past, been here many times, but over the weekend we stopped for dinner. The soup was luke warm, The golden chicken salad looked more like a side salad, and the service was slow, and we heard yelling from the kitchen. I hope this was just an OFF night,

I write this review with a heavy heart as I don't think I've ever written a * review. But this place blows. Cold soup, soupy shakes dull burgers and flat service. I know it was New Years Morning, but my food should have been hot at least.

Although nothing hits the spot for post-barhopping munchies like Tastee Diner in Bethesda, when I'm out in Baltimore or Annapolis, my default place is the Double T (open 24/7) in Glen Burnie. I know, I know, "Glen Burnie?!", you ask. However if you care to think about it, you will see that Glen Burnie has the perfect balance of suburban jeunesse doree and trailer trash je-ne-sais-quoi. To start with, the Double T in Glen Burnie, is exceptionally easy to get to - just hop along Route 100, and get off at exit 2B, and it's immediately on the right. The ease of these directions is exceptionally important when one has been drinking steadily for several hours (I do not condone drinking and driving - this tip is for the drunk navigator giving directions to the sober, and much annoyed, designated-driver). The parking lot is large - which is again, exceptionally key, at 2am on a Friday or Saturday night, as the place is pretty busy. The diner itself is huge - so there is never a wait, no matter how full the parking lot looks. I could say that this is just "diner food", but Double T is so much more! Beyond the usual offerings of delicious breakfast foods, there are also lunch and dinner options, ranging from salads to burgers to steaks. However, I have to note, that of all the times I've visited Double T, the only time I ever got food poisoning - in my entire life - was when I strayed off of the vast breakfast menu. Lesson for the kids - when given a choice, always pick breakfast foods over regular foods. My favorite has to be the Double T Breakfast Special. For a mere $7.99, you get two pancakes, two sausages (which are the size of a baby's arm), two crispy slices of bacon (but I've always ended up with at least 4 slices of bacon on my plate), two eggs - cooked any way, and a large helping of breakfast potatoes. I have never had a hangover in my life, and I credit my lack of morning-after whininess by the through consumption of fatty foods prior to crashing...and the Double T Breakfast Special is two plates (the pancakes are on it's own plate) of fatty anti-hangover goodness! Although the wait staff can be a little gruff at times, they are usually prompt, and the kitchen slings out the food like they know that those pancakes are the only things saving you from getting your stomach pumped. The food is plentiful and hot. The lights are unreasonably bright, however, once the food comes, you will be bent over your plate wolfing down each delicious bite of fatty, carby goodness that it won't matter. The best part about the Double T? They serve alcohol. Yes, that's right. After all that breakfast meat and breakfast carbs settle and soak up all the alcohol in your stomach...you can go ahead and order another screwdriver, and get your buzz back. Terrible? Yes, however that is the added benefit of the Double T...you are in Glen Burnie. No matter how smeared your make-up, how torn your hose is, or how big of a hot-mess you think you look, you will be - by far - the most sober and normal person in the diner.

Old out of date diner, with blue and neon everywhere. I am really not sure if anything is good here. Bland egg's, cold bacon questionable hash browns. Everything here is flavorless! This restaurant is a local chain with 200 items on it's menu but likely not able to make half and I highly doubt you'd want any of them besides the safest things to order.

I've been going to this establishment for 15 years and for the first time I've been HUMILIATED. The manager or whomever was in charge made me feel like a criminal. THEIR Credit card machine was NOT working and she had the audacity to ask the police officers to follow me to because she insisted for me to ask my cousins for cash rather than pay for credit which I did. And when I did s ok the police officers harassed me so whoever is looking at this message whatever officers were managing this establishment from the hours of 2 am to 4 am on 2/9 should have a great recollection of this incident. All officers and management at double t Pasadena were irresponsible and rufe. If you pull video surveillance you'll see how disrespectful and unprofessional they are. I'm extremely disappointed and felt discriminated about my circumstances. This is the worst I'd ever felt about my existence here in Maryland. I hope that everyone heed my warning about this shitty establishment. If more info is needed please contact me.

Clean and well-lit, but uninspired. Perhaps it's not fair to compare to the Broadway Diner in Baltimore, but that's pretty much my standard for a happening diner with good eats. This place seems nicely kept, but there was no atmosphere (granted, it was late Fri night/early Sat AM around 1AM), and the food was somewhat boring in my opinion. (I do think the vegetable soup was pretty good, though). I'm not against trying out the other locations, but it seemed to me like this place is in business by virtue of their 24 hour service, and not so much because they have anything special to offer.

    (2)
  • Robert P.

If you come here, stick to the basics. Eggs, pancakes, etc. Most anything beyond that is made with little to no finesse and isn't very good even by diner standards. Last night I had a spinach and feta omelette that was literally 85% spinach, 10% egg and 5% feta. Pretty terrible. Oh and even worse, the toast wasn't even toasted... lol. But generally ok food, disinterested service and some... interesting people watching late at night.

  • Dana H.

i Had the Double T breakfast, the sausage was good. My bacon was soggy and really greasy so bad it made my hands greasy even after using a napkin. The food was okay, and my potatoes tasted raw. waited 15-20 minutes for my food. My waiter was slow, maybe cause he had too many tables.

The best oatmeal I've ever had. I know-strange thing to comment about. But SOOOOO GOOOD! It is epic-I mean amazing. The service has always been good when we went there. So many choices on the menu-you could go there many times and never get the same thing. I can't say enough good things about their breakfast.

    (5)
  • Dave M.

It's ok. The menu is huge so I hope you have an idea of what you want before you step inside the door. service is touch and go, sometimes it's great, other times it's been terrible. Over-all, I am typically happy with the food though. If I'm in the mood for some decent breakfast or diner food it's a close, moderately priced option.

    (3)
  • Courtney T.

What is not to love about this place? The menu is a spiral bound book, there are mini-jukeboxes at your table, there's a claw machine when you walk in, there's a variety of desserts ready-made on display for you to oogle at when you walk in, they're open 24 hours, AND they servce alcohol! And the fellow clientele is all the best that Glen Burnie has to offter.

Instead of IHOP, we went here and sadly, we spent much more money and time waiting for a lousy service than probably at other diner. Wait, I like to add another order and wait again, but wrong order. This diner for some reason attracts the local crowd for it's spaciousness and community, diner feel in&out decor. It certainly drew me in. The diner offers a big menu, which I feel like I have to come back and try them all because I'm being greedy and selfish with food. It's 24 hours open for variety of food! But wait here is one more tip for you, do not come late in the day and really early in the morning, because you are sure to be hit with 18% forced tip whether you get bad service or bad food. You will definitely wake up and smell the coffee, and see the sunrise shinning on you! I was excited about this diner at first sight, but after we spent $30.83 (to be exact for 2) plus a generous tip of $4 to unenthusiastic, unskillful server, we are definitely not going to waste anymore of our time and money to come back here. Our golden brunch consisted of 3 stack of pancakes, 2 thick french toast bread, slices of turkey, ham, 2 home fries, 2 toast, 2 over medium eggs with yolk, vegetarian omelette, and a cup of refillable coffee. We are hitting a different diner to dive for or get great deal at IHOP just right down the road.

You gotta know when to hold 'em. You gotta know when to fold 'em. Know when to walk away. Know when to run. Double-T? No reason to run away! We knew when we left San Francisco that we'd never find a comparable burrito (and we are quite confident we won't, but if you have a suggestion, feel free to fire away via that big "compliment" button!). We knew we'd miss good Mexican food. Even more, we knew, than we'd miss fine dining and fresh, original gourmet cuisine. What we *didn't* know was that we'd miss the 24-hour, menu-has-everything-and-I-mean-everything-yes-even-that, waiters-are-cold-and-aloof-and-have-heard-your-drunken-jokes-before-yes-even-that-one-just-order-someting-dammit dining experience that is the Reno/Vegas casino diner. When we set foot in the Double-T looking for a decent breakfast, it hit us. "Criminey! I suddenly can't believe how much I miss [a favorite Reno casino-diner I'll leave unnamed so as not to cause distracting controversy]." In that sense, the Double T is awesome. Capital-A, double-down-on-11-and-hit-a-King Awesome. All kinds of food. All "walks of life." A good diner is what the UN should be -- all kinds of people brought together, getting whatever comfort (errr, comfort food) they need, all peaceful and satisfying. No sternly worded letters or shoe-pounding rants in sight. I can only speak for the breakfasts, but they've been repeatedly very solid, in the "generous, hot, tasty, reasonably priced, reasonably fast, good flavor, greasy and delicious" way. The coffee is fantastic... in that "wow, this is horrible coffee but for some reason I will continue to drink it" fantastic way only the best diners can pull off. The wait staff is superficially surly to keep any urge your drunken / hungover / exhausted / just-off-shift / whatever self may have to misbehave at bay, but brutally efficient... and if you're nice, you might just see 'em smile that sincere smile they all have deep down inside. So, do I recommend the Double T to someone looking for a great meal out? Naw. Nor do I think it's worth a long drive just for the food. But if you want, nay, need, nay demand a Great Diner Experience (n.b.: very different from a Great Dinner Experience, but you get that by now) you can't go wrong with the Double T. Four stars. For a diner, against diners. Not against all restaurants. But you know that when you're walking in. It'd be Five, but the competition in the diner world includes the glorious experience that is "put the meal, four drinks and a box of chicken to go on the room" that gets comp'ed by your host after a long weekend of too much time at the [craps / video poker / hold'em / blackjack] tables... maybe not fair to hold the Double T to that standard, but perfection ain't easy.

As far as diners go, this one is a good one. There is a wide selection of delicious desserts. The best breakfast food in Glen Burnie.
