I've ordered many times from here. Never disappointed over the quality. Maria's isn't my first choice in subs or pizza, but that in no way reflects the quality or treatment there.

Based off the reviews I have heard about the pizza, I was somewhat disappointed after ordering the pizza from here. I am not a pizza snob by any means, but expected this to taste a lot better than it did after reading the reviews. Yeah, the sauce is different than most other pizza places, but I didn't feel that it separated itself from any place else. I do, however, like the idea of a Buy One Pizza, Get One (of equal or lesser value) Free deal that Maria's offers I believe on Monday's. I was somewhat disappointed though that there is an added charge for paying by credit card.

I ordered very simply this evening. I called Maria's (which is one of my favorites and located very close to my home), a woman took my order over the phone and asked appropriate questions. It was a Monday evening so they had a special for $5.00 cold cut or Italian cold cut. I ordered the Italian with everything on it including hots. In addition, I ordered fries and a 2 liter of diet Pepsi. Afterwards, she told me it would take about 40 minutes for delivery. I am happy to say my ordered arrived on-time. My french fries could have been hotter but everything I ordered was here. It came to a little over $12.00 and I gave a tip. I have 2 large dogs so it was nice that the delivery guy was not afraid to come in. I rank it 5 stars!!

After going here for over 20 years, tonite was AWFUL. Subs were not at all what we ordered (have the receipt to prove it) and the hot subs, while not even right, were cold. Called, talked to manager who was helpful and offered to make new ones and deliver them, but at 8:00 we were hungry and ate what they sent. When he asked what he could do I suggested after all these years, free next time. He said best he could do was 50% off. OK, that would work, but instead, think we'll just find a new place for subs and pizza.

I don't know who was on the phone but the guy on the other side was real cool. He was very informative and knew what he was talking about. This was my first time ordering from them, today. Decided to get their large meat sauce pizza and the half sub special which comes with fries and a drink. The sub was a cheesesteak. I got my food in around 25 minutes which I though was great. The cheesesteak was alright. A lot of meat but a bit dry and the bread was crispy which was good but it didn't hold the toppings well. After taking 1 bite, the toppings went straight through the other side so the sub was completely open. :/ I also found it a tad bit bland. But the fries were pretty tasty! The pizza? The pizza was DELICIOUS! I got the Large Meat Sauce Pizza with Cheese and man.... After eating that mediocre sub, I ate 5 slices of the large pizza! It was that good. Like Ethan said, the sauce had strong hints of sweetness to it and the cheese's texture was outstanding. I won't be getting their subs again but the pizza is a MUST. Gotta get their Meat Sauce pizza and if it's possible get other toppings. I think only on Mondays they have a deal where you buy a large pizza and you get another of equal or lesser for only 1 dollar extra! :O

Maria's is pretty far away from my home, so if I don't get food from them while at work, we will make special trips here to pick up dinner or a weekend lunch. They have awesome food and great prices too. Plus the staff is super friendly, and even though we don't get out here too much they somehow still seem to remember us! They treat everyone like friends. I'm still in love with thier Italian cold cuts and pizza but thier shrimp salad and pizza steaks are definately worth getting!

This is our favorite Parkville/Carney pizza place. The sauce is out of this world. The rest of their menu is good as well, and the staff is always friendly. On some days, you can get their BOGO pizza deal...buy one, get one free. We enjoy eating the leftover cold pizza for lunch the next day.

My boyfriend and I were hungry for lunch-we live right around the corner. I've never tried their subs before but he wanted to order from here so I decided "what the heck". I've been craving an American cold cut sub, so I went for it. I was very pleased with my choice-the sub roll was perfect. I hate chewy bread-this was crusty like it had been lightly toasted and was very fresh. The lettuce was nice and green, not icky watery iceburg lettuce. The meat and cheese tasted very fresh and the portion was HUGE. The only thing preventing me from giving this a 5 star rating is that they forgot to put hots on my order. I will be going back here, for sure.

Excellent pizza with the best sauce around! Order the 2for1 large pizza once a week and I crave their pizza and no other will do. Don't confuse this place with Maria's on Taylor. They have cafeteria cardboard pizza.

My family really likes the pizza here. The sauce has a distinct flavor that is a little on the sweet side. I've always picked up my orders so I don't know how delivery goes. I hear good things about the cheesesteaks but I haven't tried them. The service is good. They always seem very busy but you get taken care of quickly. You can dine in but it's more of a take out joint. Try the meat sauce pizza!
