I think that you will struggle to find a better place in this area!! Orange Crushes are awesome. Cream of Crab Fries are huge and taste amazing! Pot Pie....well. you have to see it to believe it! I left my Credit card in the envelope when I paid my bill. I called the next morning and the owner answered the phone. He verified all of the information and let me come by before they opened to pick it up. Great Guy!

Like another reviewer, my expectations of this place weren't super high. But, the location was convenient for people coming from multiple areas and I had heard good things. We sat in the dining area as opposed to the bar, and it's kind of a blah room with not much going on. Would definitely sit in the bar next time. Service was pretty quick and the bill was pretty low so both good things! We were there on pot pie night (Thursday). For $9, you get a pretty giant bowl with like a full sheet of puff pastry on top. The pot pie looks huge (as you can tell from the picture) and it is pretty giant but the bowl of pot pie filling wasn't as big as it looked and was kind of like mashed potatoes instead of standard pot pie filling. Mashed potatoes are delicious though, so, minimal complaints there. I tried some, and it needed a bit more seasoning but was good. I got a side Caesar salad (not good at all, the house salad looked substantially better) and the cheese pizza. The pizza was kind of Ledo's-esque (thin crust, square-ish), and was really good. There isn't much parking but you can park in the lot at the building across the street after office hours.

I would recommend this place to everyone. The food is awesome and the service is great.

I detected a little prejudice. For one thing for it to be a sports bar they do not sell Hennessey. Won't be going back most likely

A local bar where the owner still makes the rounds. Nice friendly atmosphere. Small place, place where you rub elbows with the regulars, where people are greeted by their names and beer flows freely... Don't expect Zagat-rated diamonds of food, all I can say about food is that it is decent and satisfying, kinda like the food you would expect some hungry college kids to cook at the midnight hunger rush. Nothing fancy, but filling. I had a soft shell crab BLT, it was OK, but my boo had a cheeseburger which was darn good. Nice touch-fried pickle. I can't say that portions were "huge" and "you can eat it all day long" kind of quantity, no, my sandwich was on the small side and skinny boo managed to chow down her cheeseburger right then and right there, but we sat by the bar, watched Olympic volleyball (Russia got gold!), had good food, place was hopping with regulars, everyone was nice and friendly, four stars from me. Something I might come by again during some sport event... eat, drink, watch.

Just moved back to the B'More area and saw an article in the paper about Casey's pot pie. I just couldn't resist myself and I had to head over as soon as possible. It was everything I had read about and more. I swear they have Casey's grandmother back there churning these hot, molten bowls of deliciousness out because I was "ahhh...there you are comfort food." We also ordered the Cheese Steak, the meat Calzone and a burger. All were wonderful. The portions are huge, so bring an empty stomach, or an extra friend. My dinner guests were my spouse and my two teenage sons. The atmosphere was fun and just what you would expect from a local establishment, only the food was way better. There is seating in the back for families with young children. I can't wait to go back often, although I don't really think of that section of Joppa Rd as Parkville. I don't care. They could call it Siberia and I would go back.

If you did not know Casey and staff also do catering . I through a surprise 70th birthday party for my mom all the way in Crofton Md.Casey was prompt and had everything set up which included full bar and beautiful presentation of many delicious appetizers. I have to say my mom and friends still comment on the Polmagranite martinis ( thanks T.J) and the awesome crab cakes. I recommend the restaurant and catering to everyone. The food here is the best.

This place is definitely legit. Food is rib stickin' and the atmosphere was pleasant. I got the tenders & fries combo with the hot/old bay mixture. I would get it again but there were so many other options on the menu that I'd like to try. The place has three different settings so you will be accommodated no matter what kind of dining experience you are after. There's an outside patio, bar area with table seating and a separate room for people just looking to sit down and eat without all the commotion. I would recommend if you haven't been and are considering.

Great place! We wanted to go for their happy hour (beer deals and half off of appetizers), but missed it by 30 minutes. Oh well because we got a $14 Blue Moon pitcher and delicious food! Their cream of crab fries were awesome. I'd totally recommend that dish and this place.

Great dive bar with excellent service! It's a little on the small side for the amount of traffic it garners in the evenings but the bartenders are great! The food and menus are wonderful but can be a touch greasy.

My expectations prior to eating here were not too high, I must admit. I mean it's a bar/restaurant, how good could it be? Very good, apparently!! I ordered the world famous chicken pot pie. It was seriously larger than my head. It was HUMONGOUS! My family and I laughed for about 5 minutes because it was so huge. It lasted a few meals. All of the dishes that my party ordered were very good. I was impressed with the quality of the food. Their calamari was delicious as well as the Greek salad! The atmosphere is nothing to brag about here but the food is the heart of this gem. They also have a great store for sports fan wanting anything and everything Orioles or Ravens related.

Great happy hour specials and delicious wings. The outdoor patio is a nice place to spend time when the weather is nice, and when it's not they are kind enough to weatherproof it for the smokers. I haven't been there too often since I don't attend that many happy hours, but when I do this is a solid place to go.

Brought a friend here this past Sunday to enjoy the NBA game & we had a great time in the bar section since there was a more mature crowd there. The bar section has 5-6 TVs spread thoughout the place and each has a different channel on so we were able to watch the game as well as a few UFC matches! My friend ordered the chicken tenders which were pretty standard but the spiced honey mustard that came with them provided a welcome kick. I ordered the cheesesteak because it was the Sunday special but found the meat to taste rather grainy...not sure what that was about so I picked over it so I ordered a shrimp salad wrap instead and that satisfied me tummy =) Bar specials were fab, I enjoyed several of the $6 crushes while my friend purchased the $13 bucket o' beers that had SIX BEERS in it! Quite a deal right? I actually had to find people to give 2 beers away so as not to waste them but you're better off getting that as a deal than ordering them individually. The owner was there and he opened the huge patio window in the back so that a nice breeze filled the room. Great setting for a chill, sports-filled Sunday. After now having dined at both sides of Casey's, I completely stand firm on my 5 star whoa-nelly.

Some may suggest I give out too many of the five star reviews but you know what...if it's worth it, it's worth it. Casey's is, for lack of more sophisticated word, awesome! A bar and restaurant right off the Loch Raven exit of 695, Casey's offers great food, service and ambiance (another big word) that should not be missed. Although unassuming, from the outside, I know what you're thinking, another barish type place, the menu is surprisingly diverse and packed full of great original options as well as the standard fair. There is way too much to go over so I will let you know what my current favorite app, entree and dessert are. The rest, you will have to discover on your own. App: Seared Ahi Tuna. Outstanding. Always fresh generous portions with a wasabi sauce this is never disappointing. Entree: Parma Pizza: Prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, parmesan, Roma tomato and fresh basil. Wow. Great combination for a pie. Love love the prosciutto. Side note the other pizzas are fantastic as well. Dessert: FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY - FRIED CHEESECAKE!!!!! This will rock your word. There may be a very slight hint of banana (the girlfriend and I argue about it as I don't really taste it at all) but regardless this is a phenominal yet simple dessert so PLEASE SAVE ROOM! The waitstaff and bartenders are always great and you will see the owner Casey walking around all the time so make sure you say hi! They have a great little outdoor patio that's covered and perfect for the summer. A great, fun casual neighborhood place to eat that I highly recommend. Did I mention the cheesecake?

I've only had bar food here, but everything has been delicious and I can't wait to try some dinner entrees. The dining room is lackluster, but it's fine for when the bar is full. Nice big outdoor area for the warm weather months. I love the laid back vibe here and how the owner is present and takes pride in his establishment. The cream of crab fries are huge and absolutely delicious. Crab pretzel is great. The steak quesadilla was one of the best quesadillas I've had- meat was tender and flavorful. Lots of good specials on food and drinks, which are easy to see on the giant chalkboard as you walk in. Some of the cheapest prices on beer in the area- some as low as $1 & $2. I'll definitely keep coming back!

I have visited Casey's twice and as much as I would want to give the place a 5 there were some fundamental issues I can't look past. 1. Environment: As you walk in, Casey's has a bar side to your right and a dining room to the left. If you didn't know any better, you might ask what the difference between each side is. Even the dining room has your typical bar like atmosphere: tables with chairs (no booths), dim lighting, beer signs and TVs on every wall. And of course, Keno. They also have outdoor seating too if you like the smell of exhaust fumes lofting in from Joppa road with your meal. 2. Service: When we were greeted one of the servers let us know that she and another girl would serving us. This was the first bad sign. With two servers, there is a good chance that you will get lost in the shuffle, and that's how we felt. Needless to say, after waiting 35 minutes, I had to track down one of our servers to request a status on our appetizer. Immediately after I asked, she went back and got it. At this point the fries were cold (not kinda warm but really cold). That was the bad; the good was that our water was kept filled and we were even given a pitcher of water for the table. 3. Food: This place could resign to only serve your standard pub fare but they make a real attempt to standout with options like 'Cream of Crab Fries' and their signature chicken pot pie. While the cream of crab fries were served cold, they were pretty epic. The fries are perfectly crispy and the soup had a fair amount of crab. Entree #1 I have had the chicken pot pie here before and I wanted to bring some family back to try it. The chicken pot pie is served in a large bowl with a large flakey crust baked over the bowl. If you see it being served it will totally catch your eye. This time however, I was disappointed. The chicken in the pie tasted freezer burnt, chewy and over all pretty gross. Its clear that they simply take thick chicken soup, scoop it into a bowl, put dough over top then bake it. Entree #2 You might ask yourself 'who goes to a bar and orders a salad?' but my mom did. The BLT salad was a lime green iceburg lettuce that left a lot to be desired. Entree#3 Lastly, my brother ordered a cheeseburger and fries. It looked good and he had no complaints but the size didn't call for a $13 price tag. (Burger was $9.50 with a $2.50 up charge for fries) All that being said, with the environment and service each dish is priced few dollars more than what should be expected in this part of Parkville. If I was in the area I would stop in for drinks and appetizers but not for dinner.

Restaurants are measured as soon as you walk through the door. Someone should really tell the staff of Casey's! My wife and I entered Casey's and sat at the bar area. As we entered we passed 3 servers standing at the edge of the bar. All of them looked at us but none greeted us even though one of them was to be our server and we only sat 6 feet away from her. She did half heartedly come over and half assed greeted us. We responded and my wife mentioned something sticky on the table. The server walked away not saying a word and returned with a few napkins that she simply sat in front of my wife and walked away. I guess we were to clean our own table. After that we just decided to leave. This experience is horrible. But I don't just blame the incompetent staff because we have to keep in mind who hired them. Management should also be held responsible. Monitor your staff, that is if you care. I will not be returning to even try to experience the food. Sorry Casey's. Please take a moment and fix your staff. No staff member dealing with customers should be chewing gum either. I'm having lunch at Mo's on Joppa Rd as I type this review. Great staff and food. Go to Mo's. (On Joppa Rd, I'm not fond of the Downtown Baltimore Mo's)

This is one of those locally owned places that amazes me every time I go. Their chicken pot pie & penne and meatballs are great!

The meatball sub and cheesesteak served up well with the house combo wings (hot sauce and old bay) on special were filling and tasty. We dropped in on the way home while running errands, and were well served by the bar staff and enjoyed talking it up with a few regulars.

Chill bar vibes. Mostly white people, some frats in the bar that lean toward the slack-jawed yokel element...and old folks in the restaurant and some kids eating tenders

The food at Casey's is pretty solid. Everything is HUGE so you really get your money's worth and usually have some take home for lunch the next day. The chicken pot pie is GINORMOUS, as is the pizza. Bar food at it's best, for sure, and the prices are very reasonable. I've always had excellent service, even when we brought the baby along (and that's not always the case when you have a baby in a bar. But I'm okay with the judgement). I always opt to sit in the bar because the dining room is just kind of underwhelming. There is really not much atmosphere over there. The bar is where it's at. Best part of Casey's= huge pours of vino. Yuuup. I said it.

This place is ok Ill go here occasionally to drink with a few people but its not really my go to place its ok. Im not a sports fan at all so thats why I don't mesh well with the people here. People that go here on weekends seem kinda dumb and douchey. Seems like a bro bar.

I love Casey's! When I lived in Baltimore, this became a place I loved to visit frequently. Casey's has a friendly atmosphere (hey, Casey himself will usually check to make sure everything is going well with you!). But the food is also incredible. Before I went veg, my fave was the crabmeat pizza. It's a HUGE thin crust pizza and oh, so yummy. And I won't even get started on the amazingness of the crabdip. Probably my fave to date. The portions are insanely large. If you get a pot pie, prepare to be shocked at the size, and if you are an average-sized person, it's guaranteed you will have leftovers for lunch and dinner the next day and possibly the day after. Casey's also has great drink specials and a happening nightlife. Great place to watch the games (SO much Ravens spirit!) and throw back a beer with friends. They're also pretty great about throwing tent events for some games and holidays. I have nothing but great things to say about this place and always tell my friends about it. :)

I can't give Casey's the fifth star only because of the decor in the dining room and I will only go if I can sit in the bar. Sorry, Casey. Let me know if you'd like some original Baltimore-centric photography. I can provide it. But the food is great and the service is like a well-oiled super nice machine. They have a half-price wine night (Tuesday? Give them a call.) They are famous for their chicken pot pie, but prepare yourself, it's humongous. Very good pizza too. Everyone in the place looks happy. That is a good thing!

Did a take out order for a mediocre meatball sub and a chicken "Casydilla" that was just a handful of dry and unseasoned chicken with shredded cheese between two tortillas... not impressed and will be spending my hard earned money elsewhere. Just not living up to the hype... other nearby establishments offer better food for better prices.

Food was delicious and exceptionally reasonably priced. Everyone was so friendly. The pot pie is literally the size of half of a basketball so come hungry if that's what you want! Great specials - just can't say enough great things about Casey's! Would recommend to anyone.
