This place is great! They have daily specials. Today I tried the turkey panini! It was delicious. It came with a sandwich, chips but I got fries and a drink. The total cost was about 7.50 which was not bad. The customer service was great! The food was done quickly! It's also a nice sit down place. I will be coming back
Jae's is great. I work in the area and I visit Jaye's at least twice a week in between packing my own lunch. Prices are reasonable, and I swear it takes them no more than 3 minutes to make the food. It is amazing!! Try the Turkey Club wrap
Jae's is a great place to go, and it's right in the middle of so much business. Jae's is 1,000 times better than the previous establishment. Their customer service is insane. they're greeting you once you come into the doorway, asking to get your order and literally running to provide you fast service. the other day i mentioned that the soda machine wasn't working properly and the guy ran out to check it out and help me with the drink and said he would call in a maintenance ticket for it. i'm probably here at least once a week and always impressed.
One star rating for my first and last visit!! So disappointed! First off be prepared for long lines and food running out at 5pm. The cashier was poorly prepared, he knew nothing about the menu and easily frazzled. One of cooks had to stop to help with the line. Even one of the owners looked at the disorder and didnt help at all. I ordered crab fries but they were just cheese fries...$12 down the drain. I have had better crab fries from a pizza shop with LUMP crab meat for less money. I asked the cashier if the fries were mad with lump crab meat or a crab dip mixture. HE LIED!! This place is disorganized and they need more staff to better serve customers. Sorry just not worth it. I had high hopes for it too bad this place is a disappointment.
We drove over from the office to try this place and WERE NOT disappointed - WOW! Delicious Po Boys! We tried several types (including the salmon Caesar salad and the fried shrimp) and they were not only delicious, but the portions are very generous... I expected my salmon caesar salad Po Boy to be mostly salad with a small amount of salmon on top - NOPE! Try the reverse: this baby was overflowing with salmon, with a token amount of lettuce layering the bottom of the roll, and a generous portion of parmesan cheese melted atop the enormous (and exactly right!) portion of salmon. When I told the staff that the food was delicious, they seemed pleasantly surprised - folks, don't be surprised, you've got a real winner here! Five stars, will definitely eat again (and again).
Tonight I called in an order for the chicken and cornbread waffle and a cup of the cream of crab soup. I come to pickup my food and it turns out there's no more cornbread batter. I was offered the regular waffle as a substitute and very much regret getting it. First I was charged for the cornbread waffle even though I was given the regular waffle. Yes it's only a dollar difference, but it's the principle. Second I had to wait for my order since it wasn't ready. Third I got home excited to eat and the waffle was chewy. So so so sad. Ate half and threw it away. Soup was pretty good. A little spicy/salty but the crackers helped. Ugh... Torn. I normally love the food here but it's rather pricey for me to be sad after eating.
Lake trout was superior. It's bone-in with crispy batter, and great seasoning. The fried chicken wings were blah however; almost completely bland and dry from being under the heat lamp. The workers were enthusiastic and nice but the owner(?)/person telling them what to do had a snarl on his face, crossed his arms, and just felt nasty and unwelcoming. He had a real stink face when I handed him my money- not good business practice. Dude- if you don't like your customers, go to the back, put a camera on the cash register and relax. We are paying your rent, after all.
