Really a 3.5, but I'll give this place the benefit of the doubt. After reading a couple of Yelp reviews, I decided to give this place a try for lunch. I went and got the Philly Cheese Steak sub and a Chocolate Peanut Butter milkshake. The milkshake was wonderful; the Cheese Steak, however, was not that good in my opinion. One thing that I definitely will applaud this carryout place for is the courteous employee who took my order. He seemed to be very friendly and attentive. That alone gets this place on my good side. I also like the cleanliness of the shop. That's another plus. I will be coming to this place again to try out some other items on the menu. It definitely won't be the Philly Cheese Steak though.

They forgot to deliver some of our food. Had no interest in delivering what they forgot, offered to apply it to our next order (like we were going to order again) then offered to put it back on our credit but would remove the coupon discount because once refunded our order didn't qualify!! Are you kidding me? And their food was only "ok" fries were soggy and Mac and cheese tasted like nothing. What terrible customer service. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We came here after reading reviews that talked about milkshakes. The ribeye cheesesteak was so yummy, it's my new favorite in the area :) i got the combo with fries and a drink for $7.99 however, the burger was just "ok" says my boyfriend. He also ordered one of the many flavors of milkshakes (coffee) it wasn't very sweet really, very strong coffee flavor. There's also a tiny "gas station-type" snack selection. Crackers, chips, candy bars. I'd definitely come back. Woman and maybe her son behind the counter were very nice. Even brought the food over and came back to check that it was ok.

Stopped in here for a quick bite when I was in the area. Cute little place. Nice selection of food. Cheeseburger was delicious ! A nice change from all the chain restaurants in the area.

Check the Review Stats in my Profile...This is my First and it is going to be Negative, unfortunately! I will NEVER, EVER EVER EVER (in my best Smokey Voice played by Chris Tucker in Friday) again patronize this Establishment!!! I looked at the Signage above the Registers prior to opening their Paper Menu. After several minutes, I finally decide on the Chicken and Shrimp Teriyaki, and I get it with Noodles. I'm watching the Lady ring me up and notice she punches in an additional item, Cash Out my Order and ask for an Itemized Receipt. Sho'nuff the Fourth Item is $1.50. I ask the Cashier what the charge was for and she says, "The noodles." The sign says, "I get a choice of steamed rice, fried rice or noodle", I explained. She replies, "That's just a sign." The audacity, right?!?!?! "Well, the sign says (Verbatim now) '...choice of steamed rice, fried rice or noodle'." My co-worker fingers the Owner to the counter now. The Cashier fills her in, as do I and I give her the same spiel I gave the Cashier. "That's just a sign.", says the Owner. The Cashier was obviously trained by the Owner. I'd like to clarify that I do not Fault the Cashier. Now, I'm not only Offended, but I also feel Disrespected! "Well, the sign says (Verbatim now) '...choice of steamed rice, fried rice or noodle'.", I reply. The Owner says, "We charge extra for noodles." "Then you need to take the signs down because that's False Advertisement and Misleads the Consumer.", I tell her. It's only $1.50 and I'm not hard-up for a Buck and a Half, but that is besides the Point! "There's principalities in the whole thing!" - Big Worm It gets even juicier! No, not the Extra Thin and Runny, Brownish-Colored, Watery Liquid they refer to as Teriyaki Sauce...Nor the Super Thick Oatmeal-like because they used WAY TOOOOO MUCH Corn Starch Hot And Sour Soup I ordered. They forgot the Chicken in the Chicken and Shrimp Teriyaki Entree!!! HOW THE HELL does a Line Cook miss an entire Ingredient that makes this Dish significant?!?!?! A Protein at that?!?!?! See Pictures for Reference!

No. Not even a little bit. I'm not sure why I thought I would like this place. Oh, wait. I knew I wouldn't like this place. My husband dragged me in anyway. It was terrible. The cheese steak was fatty and bland. The bread fell apart and the toppings lacked taste and texture. Pad Thai was a gigantic portion, but 90% of it was overcooked noodles drenched in sauce. They served it with lemon instead of lime. The chicken was a really strange spongy texture, almost like old-school "chicken" nuggets. The shrimp smelled fishy. No vegetables to speak of besides a few limp bean sprouts. Chicken curry was made with chicken thighs. Some people love chicken thighs, but not me, and since breast meat is the standard I think the menu should make it clear that this is made with thighs. The flavor was decent, but I couldn't eat the meat. The fried rice was dry and looked like it had been rewarmed several times that day. I've forgotten what the fourth person at our table ordered, but I know I didn't like it either. You know those meals you just write off as a lesson learned? This was one. Save yourself some time and money and go somewhere else!

Had a terrible experience on Saturday, April 18. We placed our order for pickup at 4pm and said we would be at the restaurant at 5pm to get the food. We arrived at exactly 5pm. Our food was waiting but I did not check the order before leaving. They left food out of our order so then I had to drive all the way back there, paying basically double the price due to the distance and lost gas. When I tried the food I was very disappointed. The Shrimp with Lobster Sauce was like none I had ever had before. Instead of having the lobster sauce in a separate container, they had mixed it with the rice. My wife's Sweet & Sour Chicken was not crispy but was moist. All I can say is that we will NOT be returning to this restaurant. My advice is to avoid it and spend your money on a palce that gives decent service and quality.

The Breakfast plate was pretty spot on. The home fries were a meal in and of it's self. They also made me breakfast after breakfast hours were over. And they gave an old woman a cup of chicken noodle soup for free because she was feeling ill. So I can safely say they are the nicest owners I've seen in my life.

I get the General Tsos Chicken and crab rangoons from here and I love it. The staff is very friendly as well. Haven't eaten in the restaurant I usually do take out.

I tried the Orange chicken and fried rice lunch special. Horrible! Barely any meat, all breading on the chicken. The fried rice was not fried rice. It was mushy and flavorless. I think it came from a pot. This was the worst "chinese" I've ever had.

Bernie's Grille has recently expanded their hours and are now open on Sundays. They also have greatly expanded their menu - including choices and options for dinner as well as more breakfast and lunch choices. They have also added Thai dishes to the menu including Thai Curry (Green, Red, Yellow and Panang), Thai Basil and Tropical Mango. I had the Turkey Rueben twice in one week it was very good and only about $5.50. The onion rings are amazing and cost about $2.25. The chicken salad is pretty well-known and available as a sandwich and sub. They have a combo special with fries for about $7.50. Have never tried the milkshakes yet, but I heard they were good. The owner is extremely friendly and will often remember what you've ordered and makes suggestions for you.

I travel a lot and get a lot of bad delivery. This was delicious! From the soup to the chicken w/ vegetables - it was great. Very fresh, chicken was perfect, vegetables not over cooked - what a treat. Food arrived hot, online ordering was easy and it was a great value! Wish they had one near my house.

Delicious Deli food with variety Asian Cuisine. We can have sandwich and Asian food at the same place. The place is neat, quiet, clean and food value for money.

The steak and cheese is awesome. The chicken cheese steak is the best I have ever had. The staff is friendly and the place is full of locals. If you are looking for a good cheese steak or chicken cheese steak, try this place out. I don't think you will be disappointed. I eat regularly here for lunch during the work week.

Good spot. Greasy spoon diner with counter service. Nice portions, good pricing, and pretty tasty food. Was kind of nice they had a slight selection of Korean food too. I just had the green tea, but it was interesting to see it all on the menu.

I have gone here for lunch several times with friends. They have good, fresh sandwiches, and the soups are tasty. Not that I'm an expert on the matter, but the Philly Cheese Steaks are pretty tasty too. A few typical asian good for sale on the side (Pocky! Nom!) and some bottled asian drinks/teas. They also offer something like 16 flavors of shakes (include my favorite, banana!). It's a good option for both lighter lunch fare and something more substantial. The staff is also friendly and fairly personable; they tend to remember us when we go in.

Bernie's grill is your typicall fast food/ sandwich/ sub shop. I was in baltimore on a business trip staying near the BWI airport and found this spot on accident. Hungrily scrounging for breakfast on a Tuesday morning the GPS led me awry and i end up in BFE Linthicum MD. ( didin't even know this was a town, and don't ask me to pronounce it, i can only spell it cuz its on the menu i took home) I saw a sign that said BREAKFAST and headed right in. Its a cute joint probably set up in the 50s originally, i think it was called Chuck's back in the day. They have these nifty tables that have old school board games schlacked into the table top. I'm talking like first edition candyland and monopoly. pretty neat. It was clean the little asian lady that ran the counter was very sweet. So the food: for break fast I had and egg and bacon croissant sandwich which was good. real egg crispy bacon, i think the croissant was a premade thing but still tasty. So i come back for lunch and try the chicken teriyaki with rice. also very tasty. A+ and for dinner, good old fashioned chicken finger dinner and fries. yum. crispy tasty deep fried goodness all around. if i lived in the area i'd be a regular. the store was clean, i didn't check out the bathroom so no report there. but a very good joint :)
