Niko’s Pizza & Carryout

Reviews:
What a great little find. Located in a part of town I never really knew existed from my previous trips, Niko's is a bit of a hole in the wall in an absolutely terrible shopping center. The people are quite friendly, and the food comes up quick...I think. More on that later. I got the pastitsio (Greek lasagna) with a Greek salad and garlic bread. Carryout. All of it was fantastic. The piece of pastitsio was HUGE and so, so delicious. The Greek salad was equally as large and fantastic, and the garlic bread was...well, garlic bread. Seriously, I could have split this dish no problem due to its excessive size, which isn't bad for less than $14 with tax. As for their pizza looks kinda nasty. Rather, it's not my kind of pizza. I am a bit of a pizza snob though. I didn't taste it, just saw it, and it didn't look like something I would enjoy. BUT, I have been wrong before. So why do I only "think" their food comes up fast? That has to do with their archaic cash only policy. I had $13.50 on me, and the total was $13.93 or something like that. I asked for an ATM, and she pointed me (somewhat rudely) next door to a liquor store. Said liquor store had a broken ATM, so I went back and said "I need to go find a new ATM, but I will be back, and here is my $13.50 to guarantee that I'll be back". I went to the Food Lion, also with a broken ATM. I finally had to get in my car and drive to the closest bank. By the time I got back, my food was obviously ready (it had been 15 minutes or so in total). I would be happy to pay 3% or more to use my debit card, especially since my ATM fee ended up being much more than that. Rant over. Food tasty.
I ordered the gyro and was VERY pleased! I just can't believe I've lived in SOMD for six years and am just now discovering the joint! Of course, you would never know the place was a Greek establishment by slapping the word pizza in their title. I was a little surprised by the price, a gyro, fries, and a fountain drink was $13! The serving size was rather large though. The restaurant was cozy, clean, and friendly. I'm definitely going back.
The gyros are fair to good here but nothing to get too excited about. It's all a bit over-priced for a small, rural local business. Don't worry about the atmosphere. It's grungy and sketchy, but that's kind of what you want when digging into a lamb gyro late at night. If you are in the area and want Greek, this is pretty much your only option. It could be worse.

I've been wanting to pull in and try this place forever, I finally did. It's great. I got the sliced pit Beef with coleslaw. It's sliced really thin and piled high. Great choice. Hubs got the sampler it's 3 slider size buns. He picked pulled pork and beef bbq and jerk chicken he loved all 3. Our sides were kale and mac and cheese both sides great. I think a lot of people don't know the BBQ place is there and it always throws me off because it's not really busy but I promise the food is great. Servings are big and prices super reasonable.
First rate! I travel up and down the east coast and haven't found a place that equals Smokey Joe's. I eat here at least once a week and they are consistently the best. The pork never has gristle, the sauce is top notch, and the ribs are always melt-in-your-mouth good. Other places are good - this place is great!
Had the Pit Pulled Pork, with coleslaw on top, and a side of kale! Topped with Jerk BBQ sauce myself. Full deep rich flavor much missed as I live on the Left Coast. Visiting from California, the staff was very friendly. Would recommend this quaint little place!

This is a fun little place. They have delicious donuts, but they also have a full Hershey's ice cream selection. The hard part is convincing my kids they can't have both when we're there! It's a tiny little place in not the nicest shopping center, so we hesitated to go in the first time. We're glad we did though. It's also open 24 hours!
Have only been once & donuts were ok...I would like to try & get them fresh. Could possibly try again
Sour cream donuts are amazing! Pumpkin and Apple are good as well. One of the only late night "date" places around.

Th kids and I really enjoyed the sandwiches and the pickles. I had the hook and latter and it reminded me of the old schlockezis sandwiches. Service was good and the people were very friendly and accommodating. The kids always love the multi flavor lemonades.
A slight step-up from Subway, very slight. Maybe I expected more, wasn't bad but Wawa literally kills this place. Bread is no better than you get packaged from a grocery store, and the meat is not even close to Boar's Head quality; that's my benchmark.
This place is fantastic! My boyfriend and I go here at least once a week! I love the decor! The Dalmatian printed table tops are just adorable! And the restaurant is ALWAYS squeaky clean! Every sub we have tried has been delicious! The employees are always super nice and helpful! I love the healthy options they have available as well! (the chicken salad sandwich is my favorite!) They have an amazing selection of sodas, and that's a huge plus for us! My only "complaint" is I wish there was another choice of side beside chips, but that's my only issue!

I'd like to thanks Ledo Pizza for their professional response to my last review. The quality of food here is great, as stated before. I have learned to call earlier in the day to ask for their daily hours, since they aren't the same as the website or what had been posted on the building. Just take into account to order or call early to guarantee you get your pizza if you want it late in the evening.
I ordered the pop pie pizza. It was delicious! It comes with spinach, tomatoes, and several melted cheeses. But the best part is the tasty pizza sauce... It did not come with the regular tomato sauce. It's a white sauce and it is very tasty... something like an alfredo sauce I think. The waiter was nice and the service was good. It's not a fancy place, but it is good if u just want to drop in & have a tasty meal for lunch. I don't recall seeing any booths. There is a tv in the lobby. This is more like a three star food shop. However, the pizza was five star. So, I rated it as four stars.
Great pizza and the soup, salad and breadstick combo at lunch blows away Olive Garden Yum!!!

Hong Kong Chinese Food Pick-Up

21800 N Shangri La Dr,Ste 5
Lexington Park, 20653
Reviews:
Hong Kong pickup is just a two minute drive from my house, and for that I am so thankful - because this is definitely my favorite Chinese takeout in SOMD! The portions are big and the prices are really great - the lunch special is enough for two meals for me, and is crazy cheap! Their orange chicken is great, along with their hot and sour soup. NOT TO MENTION how quickly it takes for your food to be ready. I can appreciate that the wait isn't long at all - definitely worth having to drive to pick it up!
I"m browsing for good Chinese takeout in SOMD. Have Hong Kong changed ownership recently? I used to use this for many years, then about 2 years ago we did late night (about 9 pm) on the way home. Got home and portions of the chicken (hunan) were rancid, I mean gag rancid. Took it back and asked for my money back.. they wanted to redo my order, I refused and demanded they take the food back and return my money. They gave me a hard time because I had taken a bite out of the chicken? I had returned the 'partially eaten' chicken in a plastic bag!! Unless they have change ownership in the last year or so don't recommend, or don't go towards the end of day... chicken doesn't sit well.
I dont usually write review because i think it is a waste of my time but with my negative experience that i had with this restaurant i dont have a choice but to write one up to give warning to others. On 9 july 2015 at about 1400 i bought the sweet and sour pork and pepper steak lunch specials. i went home to the barracks where i live as a geo bachelor and ate the sweet and sour pork right away. as soon as i was done i went back to work to stand watch all night. at around 1730 i started to have clammy hands and stomach ache. i decided to drink water since i cannot leave work until 2300 that night. 2 hours later i am already nauseous. At t his time i start contemplating on what i did or ate and i remember the sweet and sour pork that i just had for lunch which is the only one i had before coming back to work. by 2100 i went to the bathroom and use the toilet. i had diarrhea and nothing but liquid came out of my butt. as i spent the next 30 to 45 minutes in the head i told myself that i will never, ever ,everrr go back to that SH177Y restaurant again. My guess was that the cook who prepared my sweet and sour pork was the guy who just cameback from the head and did not wash his hand.! i hope this will help others on making the same mistake that i had.

I love coming here. Everything is always delicious. My personal favorites are the banana walnut pancakes and the golden graham Belgian waffle, but all of the breakfast food is great. It's a personal atmosphere that's not pretentious at all unlike chain restaurants. Would give it 5 stars, but service can be slow (as they let you know).
Really wanted a breakfast iteam but we had just missed. They only serve some iteams between certain times. I opted for clam chowder....barf in mouth. I saw my waitress put it in the microwave which was already a turn off for me. It tasted like it came from a can. I barley touched it...the waitress was obviously not great are she would have noticed. All in all none of us enjoyed our meals from the lunch special. Don't think I will give this place another shot. Even with all the good reviews.
Linda's cafe is a small mom and pop place with great comfort food. I went in around 6:30 pm and walked right in and had my food within 10 mins. Wanted something homey for dinner and this was great. My waitress was very friendly and accommodating. I give this place 4.5 out of 5. Pay close attention to the street signs when drive here it is small side street which essentially is a parking lot!

Excellent restaurant. Stopped by for lunch at noon on a week day and there was plenty of seating. Service was fast, friendly and accurate. The food was great and reminded me of home cooking. Prices were average and all in all, I thought it was a great value. I'll be back.
This was my first time going here, friend recommend and after checking out the reviews I figure I give it a shot. I ordered the salmon sandwhich. The menu is not updated. It said coleslaw was supposed to come and instead you get an Asian inspired cucumber salad, which was pretty good. The salmon was ok, it wasn't dry but it felt greasy and lacking in flavor. I got the pumpkin cheesecake and that was so yummy!!!!!! The menu is all over the place with salads Italian food, America food and sandwhiches. All made by a little Asian lady, she seemed nice, we did not formally meet. There are no hours posted in the store or on their website. I've heard from many people they try and stop in and every time it's closed. I would go again and try something else or at least get dessert. It is kinda pricey for what you get. My water, salmon sandwhich and pumpkin cheese cake it was $17. Most of the sandwhiches and salads cost $10. The desserts start at $5 a slice.
Love it here, great sandwiches and meatloaf. I've eaten here 3 times and nothing has been disappointing. The staff is warm and welcoming, it feels almost like I'm eating one of moms meals at home. The owner is also (I think) the head chef and she likes to walk around and ask how your meal was. Best of all it's reasonably priced and quicker service than you would expect for "home cookin".

I really like this place. They have great subs on the American side of their menu and their Chinese food is great too. My favorite is their cheese steaks and their sweet and sour pork. This place is great for lunch and a quick bite to eat. They have plenty of seating. I haven't tried their sushi, but the rest of their menu is squared away.
They have the best Philly Cheesesteak in town and I've tried them all. Generous helpings of beef! I usually call before I head over and they have it ready for me when I arrive. This is all I get when I go here so I can't comment on the rest of their food.
I came here with some friends after a long day at a wine festival. What I really like about them was they have such a great variety of food. People got salads, cheese steaks, chinese food, and sushi. I would have given them 4 stars because they were fast and everyone seemed really happy with their food. However, I ordered the Shrimp with Lobster sauce, and it was the worst dish of this type that I have ever had. It was slimy and cold and gelatinous. I could barely eat it. If I ever come back to the area, I might try something else if we order from here or suggest another place.
