I used to really, really love Starbucks. They seemed so cool and trendy (wow, how old am I to use that phrase?) in the way back... This shop somehow retains a bit of that funky feeling. However, I am becoming less and less a fan of the coffee. I like my coffee simple (ok, ok, except for fall's pumpkin spice latte). They manage to mess up simple things and get complicated things right. Several times I've had to wait for the coffee of the day, while Mr. frou-frou coffee behind me gets his drink first. WTF? Oh, and more and more regular coffee there tastes burnt. Guess everyone else is right- Starbucks is getting lazy and sloppy. So... Pros, funky feeling retained. Cons, coffee just ok.

Very bad customer service sums up my experience at this Starbucks by the Wheaton Mall. The employees are incredibly rude and have treated me with complete disrespect. I placed my order for a cookie 1 hour and 15 minutes before the store was closing. I asked for my cookie to be heated up, which has never been a problem in the past. The employee told me the oven is turned off. I asked her if she could turn it on. She then started talking down to me in a disrespectful matter telling me the oven gets turned off an hour before the store closes. I kindly showed her the time to point its well over an hour before closing. She continued to talk very rude to me. I asked to talk to the manager. Another employee claimed to me that she was the manager (I later confirmed she lied to me and was not a manager). I told her how I was disrespected. She seemed like she couldn't have cared less and asked her fellow employee to say she was sorry. Then I received the most unapologetic apology I have ever received. I will never go back to this Starbucks.

The closest cinnamon dolce latte to my watching Ponce de Leon men's baseball at Einstein High School in Kensington, MD. Thank you for always being close by ...

The only reason I go to this location is because it's close to where I live. The customer service at this location is a hit or miss, they may be out of coffee or a product and not tell the 10 customers in line until you get up to the register, some of the staff is not knowledgeable of their products either. Every time I go in there is a particular barsita who is not friendly at all. Have not gotten his name but he always has his hair pulled back. He's rude and it would not hurt to smile. He looks miserable every time.

Service was good and prompt but... There were literally so many flies inside, I had to move outside to avoid them. And literally... that worked. There were less flies outside... then inside this Starbucks. The floors are littered with crumbs around most tables, tables are sticky, and the trash needed to be emptied. I've never been in a dirtier Starbucks.

I mean, it's Starbucks. The staff are all friendly and most of them are good at their jobs. The specialty drinks are ok, though often too sweet or with a funny aftertaste. The coffee beans are still burnt. The new "coconut milk" got me all excited, but it turns out it has a bunch of additives so isn't actually really coconut milk AND it isn't fair trade. Nope, nope, aaaand nope on that one, Starbuckseroo. I can always find something that is ok to eat or drink when I get a gift card. The staff are nice. But there is a Mayorga in the mall with better, more economical, more ethical coffee. And they are a local business. So, you know. For me that's a no-brainer. I only go to the Starbucks when I have a gift card.

After waiting for the five people that ordered after me, I finally got my drink. That's ridiculous and not acceptable. That kind of service qualifies for a one star today. Will they polish up their act on my possible return? Time and reviews will tell which pot brews my next cup of coffee #Sbux #coffee #dmv

This Starbucks keeps getting worse. The baristas are simply not very good, and I am currently now "enjoying" some lightly-coffee-scented hot soy milk. Hmmm, pretty sure this isn't what I ordered. Their recent remodel is nice, though.

Nice people, usual coffee, but the WiFi was so screwed up I messed around for 20 minutes before giving up and using 3G so the Starbucks app would open and I could pay for my latte.

Wow, the staff here is so friendly! I clumsily spilled my coffee on the floor, and not only was it promptly cleaned without hesitation, but it was also replaced! Thanks, guys!

The employees at the location have a horrible attitude & don't seem to or care to understand the most basic request for a drink. It's a good convenient location but I would never get anything but regular coffee at this location.

Horrible customer service and service overall. I find it very offense when i order a non-fat product and then they make it double product with 2% and tell me its non-fat when i could CLEARLY see you put 2% . Seriously?!?! No. Done with this location starbucks. Its sad, they need change their attitudes and get proper customer service.

Horrible customer service!! There's no reason for them to be in such a foul attitude when it wasn't busy... Also the entire food case was empty.. Not impressed, there are better locations else where!
