Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Blood Pressure at Pizza Hut

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Keep your pizza intake to one slice to avoid high cholesterol intake while you dine at Pizza Hut. Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. Summary: totally average (not shocking), with slow service (again .. not surprising) The Hut currently has 2 med 2 topping for ~$15. Kids have declared the crust flavors make this their favorite, so several recent carryout orders have produced this consolidated 2 star review Pan crust is bready, saturated with oil. Tastes similar to focacia bread. Toppings are plentiful, but mediocre quality. Pickup times are too optimistic by 5-10 minutes; the corporate formula isnt likely accounting for the impressive slacking I observed during my waits. Add 10 minutes (60% increase) to the estimated ready time to localize the formula.

#Slowwwwww Service Why Why Why do I keep doing this. This is the third time I ordered without checking a Yelp review. How I wish I had done it. Wasted my time and appetite on this. The slowest service ever and the cold food. Moreover they charge $4 for delivery and don't even answer the calls in time. The pizza was delivered in 2 hours. They have no tracking system what so ever and when I called up to find out my order status, the lady said " it must be on its way because I don't see it at the counter!". So that is how they track their orders, by looking at the counter shelf! If it was on the way why did it take another 50 minutes to arrive home?? I am assuming that the guy 'Walked' to deliver it, because there is no other explanation for him to take 50min for a mile's distance. Next time.. huh there is no next time for this place!

(see pics) that should explain it all. I also had to wait 2+ weeks for a refund.

This place is consistently slow and they get my order wrong as often as they get it right. Last time I waited an hour before calling to check in about my pizza, and I had to call three times to get someone on the phone, and it was wrong when it finally arrived. There are a bunch of better pizza options in the area, you'd probably be better off going to those.

The slowest pizza hut around. Literally waited almost two hours, As soon as the driver came the food was already cold and soggy, Had already lost my appetite because of how long I waited. Also when I tried to call and ask about my order employees were very rude. They could have at least gave me a discount. Next time I'm going with Domino's Pizza or taking myself to &pizza.

I ordered a stuff crust pepperoni pizza. I actually did wait for 1 hour and 30 min just to receive a burnt pizza. I'm disappointed, I called to complained and what did they do? Nothing

If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible service. Cold food. Not worth the long ass delivery wait. Smh. Never again.

The management does understand English at all. They late kids run in the store and make loud noise and I was in here and one of the run right in to me and my food was in the floor. It is not clean in the restroom or the tables that u seat at because they let the kids play on the tables and in the restroom

  • Anna G.

Why does it take so long for pizza? Perhaps because they are under staffed and milling around instead of working? Barely clean... Poor customer service skills - no apologies for anything. Completely uninterested in waiting on the customer. Had to ask for everything you would expect to get like napkins and forks.

I've ordered from this particular location countless times because of its proximity to my house ( you know the website automatically selects the closest location for delivery.) BEWARE: There is a 75% chance your food will be late! The good? My orders have always been correct for the most part and tasted fine. The bad? I ordered a tomato pizza one time, went to sleep and woke up in the middle of the night throwing up! Hello, food poisoning! So if you want to wait 2 hours for your meal and possibly get food poisoning, eat here!

My husband had pizza that contained black olives and Italian sausage. We both shared some tasty garlic parmesan wings that had a good amount of sauce on them. I had the pizza rollers as may main course. The pizza rollers are pizza dippers with Italian and parmesan season. The meal was both cheap and good.

Ordered online and I was to expect my delivery in 30 mins. Well, 40 minutes later, I decided to call and ask where my order is. He takes my number and puts me on hold to check on the order. Another employee picks up my call and asks what I needed. Completely irritated that it's probably all high school students working today, I tell him that I'm waiting for the status of my order and that I was already on hold. So, then he puts me on hold. One of the two kids I was talking to picks up and says that the driver is on his way (this is no lie taking 10 min to figure out). I tell him that if he isn't here in 10 min, I want a refund. SO HE HUNG UP ON ME. I called back to speak to a manager and completely canceled my order. I don't deal with bratty kids or grown men that are angry that they have a job that isn't ideal. So then I placed an order with Papa Johns.

I love Pizza Hut, but this is the absolute worst store on the planet by far!! I placed an order on line for 14 wings. That's it. Simple. The estimated arrival time was 30 minutes. after an hour of waiting, i called the store. The guy who answered the phone was rude and could barely speak English although I'm positive it's his first and only language. He informed me that my order had left the store 5 minutes ago (25 minutes AFTER the estimated delivery time. Due to my hunger and virtuous patience, I decided to wait. BAD IDEA! Another hour past and I called to store back, spoke with the same guy and had him cancel my order. He informed me that the driver was still on the way and to have him cancel the order when he arrives and that my card shouldn't be charged. It took this guy another 20 minutes to show up. He looked a complete MESS! I wouldn't have taken food from this bum if it had arrived in 5 minutes. Moving on, my card was charged two days later. I called and spoke with a new associate who informed me that I have to wait and call back tomorrow to speak with the manager who was on duty and the associate who canceled the order. WTF?! I've never in my life experienced so much drama with ANY company. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS GHETTO ESTABLISHMENT!!

Ex. I ordered a pizza online and the estimated delivery time was at 7:30 PM. When 7:45 PM came around and I still didn't hear from Pizza Hut I decided to call them. After calling and remaining on hold for 20 min I decided to drive to the location. I arrived at the Pizza Hut around 8:25 PM. Once I arrived I quickly realized what could have caused them to keep me on hold for so long and that's because there were so many people in there that you would have thought they were giving pizzas away. It was unreal. When I finally arrived at the counter around 8:45 PM I gave them my information and they said that the delivery man had left with my pizza 45 min ago. This was definitely not true because I was home 45min ago so where is he. They tried to reach the driver as I stood there hungry and the driver would not answer the phone. Finally after the 4th time he finally answered and luckily he was pulling back up to the Pizza Hut. As he walked in around 9:10 PM they asked him why he didn't deliver to my address. No answer. Then they finally realized that my pizza and hot wings were in the warmer box the entire time and had not been removed from the box. The kicker is that after they handed me my pizza they asked if I wanted to pay in cash or card. I laughed in their faces in disbelief. I asked to speak with the manager. When he came to the counter I explained the issue and he wanted to credit me the amount I spent for another visit the next time I come in and I told him NO!!!!!! I simply told him that I would not be returning to this location because you have the nerve to want to charge me after I've been waiting on a pizza for over 2.5 hours. He then agreed and gave me the pizza and wings for free. Pros Convient Cons Always behind Burned pizza Lack of customer service

After a total of 31 minutes waiting...Only want to highlight the great flavor of the new garlic bread cheese pizza with pepperoni! And... a great job of the manager of the store 023512, who, after our first waiting for the order that came without cheese on it. Gifted us with 2 cups of ice cubes and a Sierra mist natural for free. Now I am happy, but the service, YES, IT's terrible!

I've never been to a worse Pizza Hut than this one. I preordered my food for carryout. 30 minutes later, I showed up at the "restaurant." It was full of people waiting for their carryout orders. My order was #159. I waited patiently as they began serving order #157, 160, 164, 168. 20 minutes later, my food was ready. It wasn't until I got home that I realized they absolutely butchered my pizza. Summary: ridiculously horrible service, mediocre pizza. Skip this BS. Sidenote: Unlike many Pizza Huts, they do not provide wait service here. You order at the counter. You pick up your food at the counter and bring it to your own table for dine-in. It's silly. You'd think that by freeing up that staff, they'd be able to throw some damn pizza in the oven at a reasonable pace.

I do not know what in the heck is up with this Pizza Hut. Last week I placed an order and asked for cheese lovers. After waiting an hr for the pizza to come I was left with mostly bread and sauce. I called the manager back and was given no apologies at all. I then had to wait another hr for another pizza to come. Now here I am again. I decided to order cheese breadsticks and pay for extra cheese. After waiting an hr, which is ridiculous bc they are only a mile away, the breadsticks were cold, hard and lacked the extra cheese I paid for. I told the manager to have his driver bring me my damn money back and come pick up this hard ass pizza. I am sure I have to wait another hr just to get my money back. The place is under staffed which is why it takes so damn long to get a pizza. I'm better off driving to the other location that is too far to deliver to me. I will never and I repeat I will NEVER order anything else from that pizza hut. The general manager needs to get on their ish bc the manager is terrible and so is the staff. What in the world is so hard to understand about extra cheese?

Whoa buddy!... Pizza hit is not that bad in general...great $10 box deal. This store is terrible!! Everyone needs to be fired the service is the worst. During my hour long wait at least 5 other people complained about either the service or their pizza being all jacked up. Save your time by driving out of the way to go to another pizza hut.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
