Wow things have changed over the last year. Customer service is clearly not a priority at all anymore. There has always been a slight language barrier, but when I was trying to communicate with first the younger boy who picked up and then his mother, all I got was rudeness. I tried to place a delivery order to the UMD campus, but since there are no street addresses, it was difficult to let them know where I was located. The woman asked me where I was and I had to repeat almost three times that there was not a real street address. At that point she began almost yelling at me telling me that I was wrong and I need to find the address. Neither of them were listening to what I was trying to tell them and the woman actually hung up on me. I wasn't speaking rudely to her nor was my tone rude. I am incredibly shocked at how terrible of an interaction I had with them. I can say without a doubt that I will never order from them again.

I love ordering from this Carryout and it's the only one I choose to order from. I have not had any issues with them. Food is delicious and the delivery is usually fast too!

I ordered a chicken and fries and they gave me chicken and fried rice..besides that the delivery was prompt. I was annoyed by the side order being wrong. Typical food, the taste was fine.

Wow some nasty people here! I ordered on grubhub to pick up some food after class, accidentally choosing Panda China instead of Panda. Long story short, I didn't go to Panda China and didn't realize the mistake until they called me up. I apologized and she's throwing a few "fucks" and talking about " you no credit". Well no problem, because I don't intend to ever order from Panda China again. If greasy carryout places in sketchy neighborhoods didn't already have a terrible image, the nasty woman kirking out over a simple misunderstanding puts the nail in the coffin. And if you want a real review of the food / atmosphere, they turn off the heat in the winter and wear their winter coats inside to save money. Or maybe it's broken for all I know. The dim flickering fluorescent lighting is just absolutely divine and wets my appetite, somewhat reminiscent of DC amidst the crack epidemic. I don't know if the woman who served me then is the same as the person who picked up the phone, but she was just staring blankly out in the open, probably contemplating what to make of her existence because it seemed like I was the only customer for the hour. I ordered a sweet and sour soup and I could hear them firing up a lone burner to get cooking. I'm watching my breath condense inside the store and wondering if the business they lose from being a sketchy carryout joint without heat balances the money they save from not using heating. As for the soup it was terribly mediocre and I don't have much to say about it. I speculate why they kirked out about losing 12 dollars worth of food is because it is probably half their daily gross income.

Everything was super mediocre. I got the shrimp and broccoli, egg foo yong and vegetable fried rice. It tastes like I tried to make Chinese food at home. Pass.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
