when i used to eat from here, i always had my food delivered. things change when you actually go inside to order your food. there were strange things going on back there so i stayed at the counter so i could see as much as possible. point is i will not be eating here again, plus there is a much better restaurant closer to my home

I love this place. I come here all the time from Wheaton to buy shrimp with broccoli. I recommend this place anybody who like good Chinese food.

Terrible. First delivered us the wrong item. I decide to eat my half because I don't want it to be cold. Crispy beef was not good at all. It was dry, no meat and mostly onions, scallions and bamboo (I think?). I have had this dish at least a dozen times at other places and this was by far the worst. There was at least twice the amount of that onion mix as there was meat and most of the meat was just breading. Fried rice is really bland. It had absolutely no flavor and the color of the veggies in it is way off. Other half of the order comes in. Delivery driver insists on taking back the wrong stuff. I was actually going to eat it since there was like nothing hearty about my dish whatsoever. The replacement order of sesame chicken is only halfway full. It wasn't bad, but I feel like we were almost retaliated against because they had to come back out to my neighborhood. The highlight was the egg roll. That is the only reason this didn't get a 1 star. We won't be ordering again.

Very fresh! I was really impressed at how fresh the food is. The quality is there. I definitely will be back.

I'm from suburban San Diego, where "Chinese food" means styrofoam boxes filled to the brim with fried bits of meat in sweet sauces and enough white rice to bust two guts. You know it's not authentic, and you know it's not good for you, but goddamnit it's cheap and fills you up in a weirdly satisfying way. That's what I had in mind when I came here. I didn't expect anything amazing or even particularly good, and I was still pretty disappointed. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken. It was fried well, that's for sure. But the sauce was just plain awful. It was so incredibly sweet that I swear I could hear my teeth crying. I actually saved the few bits of broccoli (which were surprisingly well cooked) to clear that horrible sensation from my mouth. Sure, maybe I got a bad dish or just a bad batch. I'm just not sure I want to go back to find out.

Lemme go ahead and throw this place a rope. We are eating this right now, right now. I just put down my fork to type. Its a carry out. Not a real Chinese restaurant. Better yet, as they say in DC its a 'curry' out. Get yo'self four wings and fried rice and keep it truckin'.

The first guy summed it up well: "Greasy, Americanized 'Chinese' food.". Wish I had read that review before getting take-out from there. Menu looked good, and in the past I had good luck with places like this. Sadly mistaken tonight. The sauce for the Sweet and Sour Pork tasted like it was fresh from the can or poured from a bottle and not made from scratch. I could have done the same with a little florescent food coloring and some ketchup. The Pork-Fried Rice had a few small pieces of what could have once been pork. I think I saw a small piece of onion or two. There were about 3 bean sprouts. The family-run business could do much better by cooking for their customers like they cook for their own family. I overheard the proprietor talking on the phone with a customer ordering delivery. The customer was trying to get them to cook something without the egg yolks! The Chinese woman was trying to understand the customer's request. I kept thinking "Dude. It's cheap, Chinese food. Let them cook it the way they would normally cook it and stop trying to be healthy about it. You are worried about the yolk, but what about all the oils and salts?". Then I got home and thought the same about the restaurant. They are trying to cater to uneducated pallets when they should be cooking like it was for their own family.

I actually think the Generals Chicken is quite good here. Very sizable chunks of solid chicken meat. And its fried really well. I like it a lot actually.

Greasy, Americanized "Chinese" food. You know, the kind of place that also serves subs because pork fried rice is too exotic for some people's tastes. The menu actually encourages you to order by number here.

I'm really annoyed because I just ordered vegetable lo mein and fried chicken wings (don't judge me) and fries. The lo mein was noticeably scorched and the chicken came with rice. Why would anyone want fried chicken with rice- pray tell. I did walk in previously and got veggie fried rice that was just fine. I hate spending my money for something I'm not satisfied.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
