This place is really poorly managed. Every time I come they've run out of something. Burrito wraps, soft taco shells, dressing for the burrito bowls. You name it, they've run out of it. Seriously, this is a place with a pretty limited menu, how hard can it be to keep track of your stock? Go to the Chipolte in College Park. It's only 3 minutes away and run far better.

It's Chipotle. Usual business as the others so lets skip to what makes this location great. Location. Driving to union station in DC and searching for parking just for chipotle isnt ideal, neither is trying to find a meter the one next to Safeway in DC, and forget about standing in line with 72 UMD students in College Park after paying the meter box and putting the slip on your dash. This location makes it simple to drive to, park for a second, wait in a short quick line, and soon be on your way. Service here is awesome and so is portion size. Perhaps once the condos open things will change, traffic, parking, and long lines but right now, it's awesome.

Like most Chipotle's the food is good BUT my issue is with the customer service of this place. Today when I went in there were 7+ employees behind the counter and not many of us in line (5 people) and it took over 20 minutes to get through the line. The employees are chatting behind the counter, food is not ready, they are irritated when you make a request (like guacamole on the side - not hard). This is not the first or second time this has happened. It is unfortunate since I was really really excited for this location to open. I will be going back to College Park for sure. Also, do NOT order online if you want your food done correctly. I have tried to order multiple times and not ONCE have they ever gotten the order right.

I used to love this location when it first opened. It was new, the employees were new, and they knew what they were doing. They used to stack our burrito bowls so high that the lids wouldn't even close the bowl. THAT'S the kind of service I love(d). Now, the service sucks. They don't even give you a lot of food anymore. You practically have to beg, as if they're doing you a favor, for them to add more food to your burrito/bowl. This location sucks now. Wth happened? Why are all Chipotle's doing this? First, College Park UMD, then DTSS, then Cherry Hill, then College Park IKEA, now this one? Extremely dissatisfied.

Today I had the misfortune of watching as the employees here took advantage of a minor. A young lady, who appeared to be about 13 years old was in the line in front of me. She ordered her food, proceeded to pay and she left. I noticed the two women at the check out laughing as they tore something up...it was her receipt. Not more than a few seconds later the young girl returned and stated that she didn't receive her change. The employees response floored me...she said "you didn't ask for any change back." She then finished ringing me up and then gave the girl about $10 back. Very deceitful and highly dishonest Chipotle, where's your integrity? Tips should be earned not stolen.

The is the worst chipotle ever. The employees are lazy and take forever to get to your order. I placed my order online and my pickup time was 5:45, I reached there at 6 and it was still not ready yet.

I love Chipotle in general and happy with this location. Very consistent with other Chipotle's in terms of taste and quality of service. Can get crowded in the evenings so I usually get takeout.

This is an excellent Chipotle. Maybe the best we've ever been to. The service is fast paced, and they know what they're doing. They wrap the burritos before they dry out. Parking is a pain in the ass, but they don't really have control over that.

Chipotle! You've been here before, you know what to expect. Fresh, quality food prepared quickly, The Hyattsville location seems to always be busy. This is a staple in my diet. I go for the bowl with no rice, add steak or carnitas, mild and hot salsa, lettuce, and guac. You're in you're out with a decent meal, that's not too heavy, for under $10.

I always order black beans and rice....and now they offer brown rice, which is even healthier. Nice, delicious food and I'm thrilled that they offer so many choices AND list the calories. What more can you ask?

I no longer have to fight college kids to get my Chipotle fix! Hooray! Before this Chipotle opened, I used to go to the College Park location - basically across the street from University of Maryland. This new Chipotle is much better - mostly because it's not as crazy busy, the staff seems to actually listen when you order and there's free parking! I love Chipotle. It's one of the only fast-food places I eat. I love that they try to source locally, that their meat is naturally raised, and that everything is so tasty! You really can't go wrong with a mix of meat, beans, guac, salsas, sour cream and cheese. Yummy! This Chipotle is pretty standard - if you've been to one, you've basically been to them all. I'm happy to make this location my new Chipotle.

I'm a chipotle love and this is by far my favorite one. They're doing a lot of building over there which is making it trickier, but there's also a fro-yo place there which is a plus.

This location needs some better workers: I only go to Chipotle once a month and only because my sister likes it (she eats it constantly). We go to this location because it's the closet and every time someone has an attitude. When you ask for extra, they act like you asked them for $5. It's always 2 or 3 of the same employees that are working the line who have issues. Today I went and I see the same folks still at the line and still with the attitude. I tell my sister try to guess if it's the guy or girl that is on their period today. Plus, how do you burn vegetables? It's not hard to cook.

The worst Chipotle I've ever been to. In San Francisco, they're all pretty consistent; great service and food is predictable. The staff in this location is downright rude and unprofessional. It's like they're inconvenienced by you even walking into their establishment, and how dare you tell them you want a burrito bowl and have multiple orders?! Oh, and to top it all off, they have a roach issue that needs immediate attention. I was walking by and noticed a roach come out as soon as people exited the location. Stay far far away.

Welcome to Maryland's slowest Chipotle. Be prepared to spend more than 30 minutes in line if there are more than five people ahead of you in line. Staff walk away from stations, if they aren't busy talking to each other, hands idle. Want a little bit of something? Have a massive dollop instead. I understand they get difficult patrons but they don't know how to deal with them. Oh, and the tables and counters are routinely dirty. Two stars because it's Chipotle food. Zero for anything else.

I rarely write 1 star reviews but I am tired of the poor service at this restaurant. The staff is ill prepared to handle large lines - during dinner rush, they routinely run out of items on the line. It's as if they never considered that people would show up - at the same time every day. The tables and floor are routinely not clean. The soda machine is often empty. I can't say it's worse than other Chipotle restaurants as I don't go to many. But there is a lot of room for improvement.

I would give it 5 stars but the customer service sucks.... The food look and taste fresh though. I asked one of the ladies who was handling my food ,if she could change her gloves before touching my order. She rolled her eyes and her friend said something in Spanish and giggles.... Mind you When I walked up to the counter, the same lady I ask to change her gloves was wiping down the counter with the gloves ,so that is why I ask....It amazing how someone who's dealing with food can have a tude and roll the eyes bc A CUSTOMER ASKED COULD SHE CHANGE HER GLOVES THAT SHE WAS WIPING DOWN THE FOOD STATION WITH...

Best chipotle I've been to! They give you large amounts of food. But the music I too loud and in the winter is really cold in the dinning area. I do wish that they had more of a cozy dinning area as well I hate setting in those wood chairs and the stools.

I really hope Yelp doesn't require me to leave ANY stars for this Chipotle Restaurant! I decided to try this Chipotle out again because it was on my way home tonight. Usually I reroute and go to the CP location that's 15 minutes out of my way. I stopped coming here because last time I went a cook sneezed in his hands and continued to cook the chicken. I left immediately and contacted Chipotle. Thank god they responded back quickly and handled the situation. They offered me a free meal but I respectfully declined because I never wanted to eat at this restaurant again. Tonight I hoped for a different experience! I arrived at the Chipotle around 7:45pm and waited in line for 15 mins. I had three orders in text and one over the phone. I started to give them my order and really couldn't hear the person over the phone (since the music was so loud) I asked the lady (Gladys.. rude! Very rude! Tall with dark painted on eyebrows and acne) to give me a second. With attitude she said "I don't have time for this" I asked her "I'm sorry, what was that"? She stated that they were trying to close and she didn't have time for this. There were no signs on the door that this Chipotle closed early today. I said I was waiting for 15 mins in the line and that she needed to calm down. She said "fuck this" threw the utensils on the station and walked to back. I asked the cashier for her name she stated they weren't allowed to give out names. I said ok please get me your manager. The manager came out with a very laid back attitude. She asked me what happened. I told her and her response was that they wanted to leave early too. Excuse me?! She didn't apologize. When I told her the cashier said they weren't allowed to give out names she looked at the cashier and the cashier started smiling and laughing. I asked for another managers name. She gave me the store managers name and stated that she was only going to talk to Gladys about it. I stated that was fine and I'll escalate this to their main office. I spent $40 on food here to get treated like this? It's not worth the horrible customer service. Take your business to the college park location or better yet Quoba up the street.
