Friday date night with the hubs and we decided to give our local Fridays a try. We are new to the area and it has been awhile since we've been at this chain. I was a little hesitant because of the rating but we have always like Fridays so we came in. Tameka was our server and she is fantastic. She is very friendly and easy going. I did find the menu a little disappointing. I am not a big meat eater, I prefer fish and shrimp and veggies, the menu includes 1 salmon entree or deep fried shrimp. However, I was ecstatic to find ahi tuna crisps!! We just moved back to the mainland from Hawaii so when I can find seared ahi tuna on the menu I am a happy girl. I paired that with a wedge salad, hold the bacon and I was good to go. The hubs ordered shrimp and ribs with 2 sides. The food came quickly and was fresh and hot .... or cold if it needed to be ;) We ordered dessert. I highly recommend the Tennessee Whiskey cake it is so good! I also recommend the Friday's margarita. Great flavour and on the rocks, yum! So give Fridays a chance or a second one if you haven't. Hopefully you will get Tameka and have a great dinner like we did. We will return.

The WORST service I have ever had in my life. The bartender was also our waitress and she did not care about us or the other 3 tables she had, all she cared about was the three guys at the bar. She was loud and obnoxious . She never refilled our drinks. The food was also not that great. Don't get me wrong, the appetizer was great, but the food was not. It's just not what it was 5 years ago. I will never go back now, and it used to be my favorite restaurant. Just horrible all around.

My family and I came to this restaurant on Columbus Day 2013 for an early-ish dinner around 5pm. Our waitress was very polite and funny, but everything took way too long - getting our food, getting our drinks, getting our check - and eventually once we had our credit card waiting to pay, we got so frustrated with the wait that we took it up to the bar to close the bill. Part of this wasn't the waitress' fault. The store was really understaffed and she was helping the bartender while serving an entire half of the store by herself. This was a complete failure on management's head, not being competent enough to schedule more people for a section. It's a holiday, people will be coming in prior to normal dinner time. It doesn't require a high school education to figure that out. We never once heard an apology from our server or anyone about the wait. The hostess was playing with her laptop and did not say goodbye as we exited. Unfortunately, I used to be a big fan of TGI Fridays. We used to always go to the one in Winchester but the service and food quality was so poor that we ended up switching to Hagerstown. It turns out this store has fallen through the cracks too, so this will likely be my last trip to TGI Fridays.

I called ahead with a party of 11 from a graduation. When we arrived, our table was ready. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Our server was excellent (Melissa). Food was very good and hot. Small glitch on one of the steaks ordered. It came well done and was ordered medium rare. But when the server found out, the brought an entire new meal done correctly which was delivered by the courteous manager. She even comped 2 desserts for our graduates. I'm not from that area but would go back to this Friday's for sure because of the service.

By far the worst service ever! From the moment we walked in & no hostess at the door to welcome us to a server who got order wrong & couldn't clean dirty tables. Oh & let's not forget the GM who reprimanded a employee at the hostess stand. We had been back for a while & after our final straw of food poisoning the next day, we will NEVER go back again. This place needs a new management team. A health inspection. New staff. Corporate visit & overhaul. Absolutely horrible & worst Friday's ever!!!

Fucking horrid, basically they go across the street to Walmart but what you ordered and then heat it up. I've had MRE's that taste better than anything here. I guess I deserve it for ordering Korean Tacos, which only require a little flank steak grilled. Nope they say, will pick out the pieces of meat that have been burned to a pulp and there ya go. The service also sucks ass, dudes giving you the shocka with a bandaid nose. If your 40+ and single you may want to come for the overwhelming amount of pathetic lonelies hammering chicken wings and talking redskin football. Don't forget to say hi to the girl on her dell computer from 1998 at the bar, she'll be the one telling anybody with ears about her lame ass work stories.

The service was great. The food, well, it was just blah. We had potato skins for an appetizer, they were ok. My son had a steak, it was just ok. I had ribs, they did fall of the bone, but lacked a lot of flavor. My wife had Jack Daniels chicken and it was a little better than ok. The veggies weren't cooked, they were served cold (it looked like they had been sort of cooked in a microwave). What frustrates me the most about this meal was that we were there when they were extremely slow. Again, I can't brag enough about the service, she was fantastic!!! But the food should have been perfect. It was average.

The restaurant is on the dirty side as well as the tables and menu's. The food is decent and the waiting staff is average at best. The quality of service is dependent upon how much the customer is willing to spend on dinner. Customers that spend under 25 will get mediocre/aloof service at best. The best bet is to go with a large group because the wait staff is only concerned about large tips. A more expensive meal will get a larger tip in their eyes.

Ah, the typical Fridays conveniently placed at your local shopping mall. I really hope you weren't expecting anything better. Every bit of food is drenched in msg. No more glasses, unless you get an alcoholic beverage prepare to drink out of plastic cups. Hidden fees up the wazzoo, even though the menu might say "comes with 2 sides" half the sides on the list are a $1 extra which DOES NOT say that on the menu. WAY too expensive for what you're getting. Ambiance: Tacky. And there will be at least one family with screaming/crying children there to make your night just that more unpleasant. The only reason I stepped foot into this place was because my father had a 20% off coupon.

Came here last night, the place is a typical TGIF and the new style makes it feel like a cold modern man cave inside. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, but the menus were a bit dirty. We had the Jack Daniels Chicken with mash potatoes and broccoli (12.99), we both enjoyed our meals. My sweet tea tasted like tea grinds though so, that was probably the worst part of my meal.

This place was nice right after they remodeled but now it is really bad. Not sure what happened but it went downhill fast. My wife and I were going here regularly and we're always happy with food and service. A couple of months ago things went south. The last few times we went there the pace was a mess. Tables left unbussed for a very long time, service slow etc. we sat at the bar for lunch on a Saturday and at the corner of the bar there were at least a dozen dirty glasses sitting there for at least 45 minutes. Wait staff and bartenders were walking by and never bothered to clean it up, just added to the atmosphere of dirtiness. The floor was filthy ...just felt dirty. The bartender and wait staff were attentive to us and the food was good but everyone seemed oblivious to the mess. Just seems like everyone stopped caring. What a shame because we liked going there. Hagerstown has a very limited resteraunt selection and for us it just got smaller. Come on Fridays...get it together!

This seems to be a fairly new TGI Friday's as I had to add it to Yelp. This is a great location surrounded by numerous retail stores, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, other restaurants, etc. We arrived and were seated immediately. Our waiter was there quick and our orders were in. Started with the spinach dip. It was a pretty good dip, chips were a little salty. Two of us had the burgers and they were delicious and a decent size. I had the Jack Daniels Burger with the sweet sauce. Others had the baby back ribs and they loved them. Not real BBQ to me, but they liked them. I was pretty happy with the service and the food. I will go back here.
