Checkers is nothing particularly special. The drive thru is always a long wait for your order. I have ordered the fish sandwich, which personally is very mediocre. The fish is always hard and the lettuce is grossly mushy and not fresh. The only redeeming quality about checkers is their fries. That's about it. Mediocre all around.

Best fish sandwich in town, better, fresher, and much more for your money than McDonalds. Their fries are also one of a kind wonderful. We love Checkers for fast food.

First time to checkers and its a fast food restaurant. We were staying at the Hampton so it was very convenient. The place was fairly clean for a fast food place. We had the chili dog, mushroom burger, wings and a holl lata. The food was overall pretty good and prices were comparable to McDonald's. Would recommend this Checkers.

If I could give this establishment 0 stars or negative stars I would do so. I signed up for yelp to create this review because that is how unbelievably bad this service was. My finance and I were told to walk through the drive thru... While they were still open for another hour... Placed our order, and then told, and I quote, to get the f*** out of here because they did not want our business. My Card was already been charged and I will need to file a dispute on Monday because of this charge. The person in the window, Amila H. was horrible and physically threatened my fiancé. I never want to come back to this restaurant and we went to the sonic next store, which was much busier (and I now understand why) then checkers and had great experience. Unless you want a police encounter while in Hagerstown I would advise staying far away from this restaurant. I am still in shock about how unbelievably horrendous the service was.

Been here a few times. I'm not used to sitting in a checkers since most are double drive thru. They should have made this one the same. The last two times I have been here my burger has been made wrong. The food is hot and that's always a plus . Fries are the best but seriously, one napkin for my meal, no ketchup or additional napkins in the place to be found. You have to ask for everything they do not offer. I understand The foreign owner wants to keep overhead lower but give me a break! Save your money, go next door to sonic or across the street to the golden m. I have never been impressed by this checkers!

Everytime we've gone here it's been pretty good, only had a time or 2 where something wasn't right.. One of the better fast food joints in town.. See better than sonic

Absolutely terrible service. We were told to walk thorough the drive thru by one of the employees and let them know what we wanted. After ordering we were told to leave the premises for no reason. We promptly called the credit company to make sure our credit card was not charged. The employee named Amila H threatened me and my fiancé for no reason and refused to serve us after charging our card. We took our service to sonic and had a phenomenal experience. STAY AWAY FROM CHECKERS IN HAGERSTOWN!
