Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Worst pizza we've ever had. First off, my girlfriend went in, ordered and waited for our pizza and wings. They had a huge sign advertising a $7.99 carry out special. They charged her regular menu price, then, when she pointed out they had overcharged her, the MANAGER said there was nothing he could do about it and refused to give her the difference. By the time she got home, the pizza was cold, and we literally live 3 minutes away. We asked for a garlic pizza, and we clearly got a tomato sauce pizza. The wings had absolutely ZERO flavor, were bone dry, not a drop of sauce on them. My girlfriend called back in an attempt to get a refund, where the MANAGER argued with her, telling her no ones ever complained about their pizza. We told them we asked for a garlic pizza, and were told that he put FRESH GARLIC on it, not a garlic sauce, which is what we wanted, meaning not only were we overcharged, but he added the cost of an extra topping on top of it. We even offered to bring the food back in an exchange for our refund, as thats how bad it was, and the manager refused again, saying he'd give us store credit. Why would we want store credit for horrible food that we're NEVER gonna get again? Eventually, after 15 minutes of arguing, we hung up on the manager, as it was obvious he wasn't going to give us a refund under any circumstance. I even attempted to call their CORPORATE offices, because thats how bad the food was and how rude the service was, but their corporate number just rings and rings. No one picks up and theres no answering machine service. Worst pizza and service we've ever gotten anywhere. I'm literally creating a Yelp account to warn people to STAY AWAY because it was so bad. I'd give it less than one star if I were allowed to. Want good pizza in Germantown? Go to Manginos.

We have been ordering pizza from Boli's quite a few times and we will continue to be devoted customers to this place. Their pizza is relatively light on the sauce and has a nice crust, and is non oily (which is how we like our pizza) . We have ordered different one topping and two toppings pizzas. The people that work there are always nice and polite! Sometimes there can be a little wait on the phone when you call to order however.

ordered from them maybe 3 times so far? second time around they gave us the wrong order. i called them about it and they were nice enough to send another one at no charge. we felt bad for the people who didn't get their pepperoni, sausage and pineapples pizza. they were always prompt and always gave us the special they had, and they're always consistent with their taste. i dare to put them right next to papa john's. dare i say, maybe boil's crust even slightly better than john's. i keep reading second reviews about how their latest service turned them away. maybe if i have a bad experience with them i'd be mad, too. but for now, 3 good out of 3 is pretty good for me. i'm sure ya'll will hear about it if i have a horrendous experience.

Ok you have to take it for what it is, one of the only late night options for delivery in the area, it's not going to be a five star meal. That being said... It is not a 4 star meal either for that matter, but for the class they are in, I think their pizza ranks above dominoes and pizza hut, but below papa johns. Most importantly they are consistent. The topping are always generous, the quality of the individual ingredients is above par (for the class), and I have had no delivery issues at all. Meaning the pizza has always arrived with no mistakes, in under an hour, and hot. Their wings are surprisingly good for delivery as well, meaty, tastee, and not soggy as you would usually expect from it sitting in the sauce during delivery. While the butter sauce is not on par with papa johns, I have to say I still give them bonus points for having it as the pizza is significantly cheaper. Even with no coupons I am generally able to feed a large group for very cheap. I didn't even know they delivered to me until recently as I am in Gaithersburg, but I have to say check it out, it's much better and cheaper than the alternatives!

I walked in and ordered their $5 large cheese pizza carry out special(11-4). I asked for a packet of crushed hot peppers and parmesan cheese. They tried to charge me 20 cents for each package!!! They explained that at $5 they don't make any money. I took none but will never go back there. To top it all off, their pizza sucked.

After tonight's horrible customer service experience I will never order from Pizza Boli's ever again! If I could give it ZERO stars I would! I have ordered from Pizza Boli's countless amount of times and most of the time it's done conveniently through my Paypal app. Recently, I discovered this awesome app called Eat24 which allows me to place orders for delivery and pick ups from restaurants and I have an option of paying with my debit card or through PayPal. I placed my first Eat24 order with none other than Pizza Boli's. They received the order and got my food delivered within the next hour. So far so good.... I went to place an order earlier tonight and I called to confirm if they received my order. The guy with a heavy Indian accent confirmed they have received my order. Yay! Now all I do is play the waiting game... 45 min passes by (now I know they can be a bit slow at times so I wait patiently) Another 15 mins pass by and still no food (at this time I'm contemplating on giving them a call but decide not to) Another 15 mins pass by...alright! This is it. I give them a call and the same guy picks up the phone. I asked about the status of our order. He then places me on hold and I can clearly hear him speaking to someone in the background... He comes back on the phone after 5 mins to tell me that the manager says Eat24 does not have updated menu prices (which is a LIE because PayPal has the SAME prices and I've never had a problem) and that if I want the food I need to pay a difference. Ummmmm EXCUSE me? First off, when were they planning on letting me know of this whole situation? Never? Second off, they were just going to charge my PayPal and leave me hanging?? The best part is when I asked to speak to a manager he said "they weren't there" when I clearly heard him speaking to someone while I was on hold. Had I not called them then I would have been waiting around like an idiot. Long story short, I could never get anything resolved with them because he kept hanging up on me but thank god Chris V. from Eat24 customer service responded to this matter right away and has refunded me my money.

Do not spend your money at this business!!! I placed an order around 5pm.. 15 min later a lady calls back and says they are having problems with their oven and my order will be 25 min late. Ok an hour and a half rolls by, still no delivery. 2 and a half hours go by and still nothing. I literally called 9 times to tell them to keep it and give me a refund and no answer!! Horrible customer service! Do not waste your money.

Have only been here a few times but every time they say I need to give them ten minutes. After ten minutes I come back in and my food is ready! The cashier is always nice and always gives me ketchup or cheese or whatever I need. I enjoy going there because they have halal.

Thin crust, ham and pineapple. Best thin crust in the area. They take their time making your pizza and its expected. I don't understand why people expect it after 15-20 min. Let them take their time, it's worth it! Also try the salads, very good for a chain store. Good for a late night snack later.

I have been a veryyyy loyal customer to this store for a very long time but i will not be ordering from them again after tonight.i have received the pooreat customer service ever.i odered for delivery at 8':30 and 9:24 the food was still not at my house keep in mind i live 2 mins away from them literally one traffic light and when i called to order the man told me they were working on my order at 8:55.@ 9:24 after i was frustrated so i called them telling them to cancel my order the rude person does not even apologize but tells me i am trying to put him in trouble and that i can keep the food and put it in the trash because i just want free food.i use to support them a 100% but after today i will never order from them again thy have officially lost me as a customer.hopefully the owner reads hsi reviews then maybe it will bring some clarity as to why they will no longer be getting my business

Bad pizza!! First of all, the delivery guy was rude. We had paid by credit card, and it wasn't obvious where to write in the tip. When my husband realized he hadn't tipped the guy, he went after him to ensure he got paid. The delivery guy answered with a very sarcastic, "Yeah, you didn't tip me! It's right there, see??" Not super nice considering the efforts we were making to be certain he got a tip! Then the pizza was really bad! The crust was slightly burnt on bottom. There was zero tomato sauce. And the cheese was kinda hardened (as in, no stretchy mozzarella you get on fresh pizza). We finally came to the conclusion that the pizza had likely been sitting in a warming oven all day, slowly burning the bottom, evaporating the sauce, and hardening the cheese. Really bad. And the western fries we got were no better. They were thick cut with almost no seasoning. So really just dry, mealy potatoes with no flavor. Looking for late night pizza in the Germantown area? I suggest Pizza Palace. It won't change your life, but it's quick, tasty, less expensive, and the delivery guys are great. No contest!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
