If you are looking for a nice place to have a party for your soccer team or any team look no further. The Corner Pub is the place to go. I told the owner Randy how many people would probably be there what items we wanted. Such as pizza, drinks & wings. When we got there when they were just opening up our tables were already set all drinks on table with labels. (Something I wouldn't have thought of or have seen before). Pizzas were out quickly and everyone had a good time and enjoyed the food. They did special separate billing for the families that wanted other items and drinks. They let us use their stage to give out the trophies to our team. I love their pizza and daughter loves their wings especially the old bay wings. I will definitely make more of our team gathering here as well as come for a meal with the family.

Reasons for 5 stars: Cheap drinks. Comfortable location. Decent food. Uno cards. Grilled chicken wings. Nice outdoor seating. Laid back vibe. Room for improvement: Music. How damn cold it is in there. Bar tenders could be more attentive. Overall, I am very grateful that there is a nice, not overly crowded location to sit, have a drink, order food, and hang out with my friends in the area. Plus they have board games to play.

Always a complete disaster especially when a certain bartender pretends to work. I went on a dead Friday night there were four bartenders and support staff and it took 20minutes to get one mix drink. The place smells and staff is horrible. If this place makes it( and hope it does) maybe I'll try one more time. The positives of the place: nice patio, nice old town area, lots of TV's. The negatives: The staff esp the dark haired bartender. She's gotta go. It smells. Its really big so it always feels empty. They might need a bar rescue.

The wings are absol delish! We got them grilled with a teriyaki sauce. I'm looking forward to trying the Old Bay Lime next time! The pizza was yummy too! Square and thin crust with fresh ingredients - FTW Football season is sure to find the bar packed! TVs everywhere, friendly staff, easy parking, and good food for a reasonable price. What's not to love?

I can't wait for football season. Didn't have a chance to try their beer but will next time. Nachos needed cheese, the chicken was good the chips too.. Pizza was good. As soon as it came out I expected Ledo's deft not that quality. I do think the sauce needed something but it wasn't bad. You definitely get your money's worth. Service was excellent. This place has potential. I will definitely come back. Overall I think the food can improve and with the current set up this place can be the place! It's very clean.

I waited 5 minutes for someone to come to my table and get me a drink. I was asked once if I needed anything else. Now I am writing this review while I've been waiting 10 minutes to get my check. The bar has maybe 15 people in it. It is nowhere near busy. I smiled at a waitress to get her attention and she made eye contact with me and completely ignored me. AWFUL SERVICE.

This place is really sad! The food was terrible, the beer sucked! The service sucked! We will not be going back to this establishment! There is no customer service what so ever! We were pretty much ignored! We will not be returning! Ever! This is far far far from any place I would want to be found in!

Transplanted New Yorker who was really just looking for a place to watch the Mets-Nats game. Sat at the bar and settled in just in time for the first pitch but the picture was scrambled. Didn't correct itself until the sun went down about 40 minutes later. Rough start but to no fault of the staff. The bartender made an immediate and strong effort to correct it but was unsuccessful. Maybe they need to re-position the dish or something. Anyway, our bartender was very nice and attentive. Also came on half-priced pizza night so that was a plus. The Pizza and wings were terrific. The other bartender had a sarcastic wit that I quite enjoyed. It's a nice place to grab a cheap drink (or 10), throw down some good eats, and enjoy a friendly environment. Curious what it is like on football day. Guess I'll find out soon.

I've tried this place a few times. It's always dead, regardless of when you go. Gave it a try last night (Saturday) since they had a band. We found parking easily considering however had to walk over shards of glass to get to the steps of the bar. I'm sure the busted/fallen street light is not their issue, but if you care about your patrons you at least clean up the glass and make the walking area in front of your steps (that lead to your bar) inviting. Especially since it's summer and most people are wearing open toed shoes. As soon as we walked in, I thought let's turn around since they had maybe 20 people there. We didn't. Went to the bar and were ignored for a bit. Settled on getting a bucket of beers. (Which are a deal - so that's a plus) The bartender was very consumed with talking to her friends so people around us waited unnecessarily for drinks. It's a good thing they were slow, cause she stumbled on simple requests like "sambuca up". It was really funny since she wanted to get annoyed with the bar guests but couldn't. Her saltiness showed all over her face though. We arrived and the band was on break. They did not have any music so you could just hear random chatter. We thought that was really inconsiderate considering it's a Saturday night. People want to listen to some kind of music at the place they are hanging. Super bartender (not) got snippy when we requested music and said they don't coordinate band breaks with the juke box. Which is a rookie move, considering ALL the neighboring bars do. She went on to mumble something about they pay the band. Which who cares, really. Due to our questions about the lack of music (the band took a 30 minute break and it was silent, with the exceptions of her conversations with her bartender friend - talking about the bar guests). The bartender with a snippy tone and sarcastic attitude said "do you want to close out"? Hilarious considering we had 2 full beers in the bucket, when she ran the card. She didn't ask if me and my friends IF we wanted the bill on the card or anything. She threw the check provider down as the band was finally coming on. The band was good but we left shortly after. Fyi: there are too many bars for 1) poor service 2) no music for 30 minutes 3) no environment - no one was there! 4) bad attitudes - you are a local place that is struggling. You should take some pointers from Growlers. In my 2 previous trips I had food ( which is ok - nothing id crave). No food this time. No more chances will be given to this place.

I like this place the second time I went more than the first. The service is friendly but sometimes confused. They were good though. I had the grilled cheese with bacon and it was decadently yummy. They're dance floor is nice and big but they need better bands and Djs.

I came here on Saturday night around 9 pm with my sister and her friend. First it was impossible to find parking. We had read online that it was their opening night and would have live music and some specials. When we got there, many people were outside and we walked to the hostess stand. The hostess looked at us and said "Um, I'm not sure if there are tables in the back. Let me check." She came back and led us to the back where the lights were dimmed and it was very loud with the band and chatter from the other customers. Some people were dancing on the dance floor. We waiting a few minutes and someone came by to take our order but it was like shouting match to see who was loud enough for her to hear our order. She was very nice and answered our questions. My sister's friend order: Nachos Nico hand cut corn tortillas w/Pico de Gallo 3.5 My sister and I ordered to share: - Basket Fries with homemade chili/bacon/cheese 7.9 - NachosMegaGrande nicos with spiced ground beef, cilantro, scallion, jalapeño, sour cream 7.9 - Quesadillas 4 cheese blend with chicken 7.9 When the food came out, we got the fries first and they were nice and hot, but I felt like they were missing something. My sister finally realize that there wasn't any chili and we ask the runner who brought our nachos and quesadillas to bring us some chili. The chili made it a lot better, but it wasn't anything special. The nachos were small for a MEGA GRANDE and it didn't have a lot of toppings on it. If there were a lot of topping it was probably covered by the big chunks of lettuce and tomatoes that were taking up half the nachos. But the best thing on the table were the Quesadillas. They were hot and tender with lots of flavor. The cheese was melted just right and you could definitely taste the grill chicken. I ate most of the plate and forgot to share. The Nachos Nico that my sister's friend got came with a big basket of chips and a little dish of Pico. The Pico was tasty but was hard to pick up with the chips because it was a little watery and fine cut. To be honest after we ate everything I was ready to go. It was loud and hot. When I came back from the restroom, my eyes were all watery and I knew it was cigarette smoke. My sister and I are very allergic and they had the doors open because how hot it was and there were people standing by the doors smoking. We tried moving to the bar area but that wasn't much better because the front doors were open and people were smoking there too. So we left because by then we were both choking and having a hard time breathing. I will probably not be back, but if you are coming to drink and listen to music it may do the trick.

So excited to have this new place in town! Staff is extremely friendly and place is super clean and great to catch sporting events on tv as there are plenty to view in the establishment. Prices were ok...seemed a bit steep but maybe they have happy hour prices I have yet to discover. As for the food, I was very disappointed. I love wings so I got a decent size order and potato skins to go along with them. The wings looked great but upon my first bite I quickly realized they were well under done (some i believe we're still raw and the batter on them was absolute mush like eating raw batter(no real excuse as I always get my wings extra wet and have never had that issue elsewhere despite always having extra sauce on them), the ranch and blue cheese did not seem like they were of high quality and I do understand dressings vary from place to place based on the distributor the restaurant orders from but personally was not a fan as I found neither one savory. I couldn't even tell if the potato skins were fried or put under a broiler or both but either way they were burnt to a crisp with super high sides and so little cheese. Upon biting into them getting past the hard crunch was tough enough but then the potato lost its support and literally crumbled into a greasy pile of potato chunks. Sad sight and ultimately sad day for my tastebuds I must say. That being said, I will be giving this place another chance as I live right across the street so its very convenient and im pulling for the place to be great! Maybe it was just a bad day for the cooks or they need a little more time to nail the execution of their dishes. I guess ill try the burgers next time and hopefully be able to give some more stars..... Oh.....and may I add that I was EXTREMELY impressed at the sound insulation this place had. Two trains went by and I was stunned by how quiet it is and I don't believe Im deaf but may be wrong (lol)

I decided to come here since it is new and close to my brother house. After arriving here we waited by the host stand for about 10 minutes before they told us to sit wherever we want. So we choose to sit at the bar thinking it would be good since they have "so many beers on draft". I asked the bartender for blue moon he told us it not working. After asking for 3 other beers and being informed that it not working, we found one they had. The beer was severed warm. The staff was unpleasant and seemed as of they didn't want to be there. The only good thing was the food it was cook well and flavorful.

Absolutely wonderful experience thanks to Kelly, our bartender. We stopped in for a relaxing hour before my boyfriend left for basic training and she was wonderful! We've never been there before but if in the area would definitely go back. He had a juicy delicious burger and I ate a salad and clam chowder. We aren't big drinkers but the full bar was impressive! The atmosphere and decor were just right! Highly recommend!!

Very nice friendly wait staff. Restaurant is clean and looks nice inside, but food needs help (underdone wings and lackluster Reuben sandwhich with barely any meat or saurkraut) and beer was not cold.

Came to this new sports bar in old town Gaithersburg with some friends this past sat night. Was a little hesitant from the yelp reviews but I don't take much from the reviews anyway. To all of our surprise we all had an amazing time. Service was great our bartenders ange and kelly were awesome and made us some amazing drinks. The owner Randy came up to us and introduced himself to us really friendly great guy he even bought us all a round of beer and a shot for all of us. And the best part of the night was the pizza and the wings only word to describe the meal was outstanding best pizza and wings me and all my friends ever have had. The Corner Pub is huge we found our place for college football on sat and NFL on Sunday's Randy informed us he has 47 TV in the place and he has a 300 foot screen coming for the football season. We will definitely be back we highly recommend this place to everyone. First class sports bar in old town Gaithersburg!

Finally a legit local sports bar in the area. Food is good, prices are reasonable, 13+ beers on tap. Must be at least 50 TVs, so no matter where you are in the joint there is a screen to look at. I think I just found my new watering hole.

It's the 3rd of July and the place is almost empty.... Not a good indicator....Slow to be helped after seated. The bartender yelled at our waitress because apparently only cheap beer is considered domestic for happy hour... Pizza-not the best this side of NY in case you wondered- came out before our salads. Waitstaff barely smiled but it was hard for me to as well. Definitely a Skip it on the list of new places to try. So disappointing....

I really want to like this place. I love the location and the building and the owner seems like a good guy but the beer is warm and that's not okay. I've never been to a bar with warm beer. As far as I'm concerned this problem should have been fixed before the bar opened. It's bad enough the tap beer was warm but there is no excuse for warm bottles. I hope they find a way to fix this problem. I would hate to see the place close.

Been there a few times, the staff and owners are very friendly. The pizza is great and had a crispy crust (I enjoy that type) and the wings were really good too. You can get the wings breaded or naked which is a plus. I feel they are an asset to the neighborhood! Plus a nice selection of beer!!

So we left because by then we were both choking and having a hard time breathing. I will probably not be back, but if you are coming to drink and listen to music it may do the trick.

Stopped by for lunch, place was empty. Service was excellent. Food took a while to come out and was the definition of mediocre. Looks like it would be a great place to watch football and drink a few beers though.

Great place to hang out with friends and grab a beer. The pizza is awesome and tvs are everywhere. Really happy this place relocated to Olde Town!

Cool place with awesome staff. Was met by owner with a smile. After a few great bartender recommendations ... Cucumber Martini is off the hook! Great tvs and large bar! Good town feel. Will be back again!
