All in all it was good. It was busy and our waiter Nate seemed to have a majority of the tables. The food was hot and came at a decent pace. When my wife's burger came without the requested. BBQ sauce we asked the manager that brought the food if we could get it and it seemed an inconvenience for him. We were never asked if we wanted more fries. When we finally got the check my wife had enough time to go to the bathroom and come back to the table for a few minutes before we got our change. Apparently only the waiter we had could check us out because they manager stood there waiting for him to get done before giving him our check and money. Also apparently if you pay cash you ha e to wait for the bartender to be free to give change. All in all the check out took way too long. Overall from a travelers perspective I would not stop here.

When I was working at Lakeforest Mall I would stop by here on my lunch break. I've never been there when I had to wait to be seated. They have a considerable amount of seating and never get too crowded. They do have a lot of families and kids so it sometimes get a bit noisy, though. There is a small arcade section in the front waiting area, so I like to sit on the smaller corner to the right of the host counter. It's quiet and you don't get kitchen/large group noise. The booths are comfortable, sometimes the tables are sticky and the service can be a bit slow, but not so bad that it would prevent me from coming back. I really love their Bonzai Burger. It's different and not something you'd normally find at a burger join in Maryland. It's got a pineapple and teriyaki sauce. I eat the pineapple slice separate because it's a bit overwhelming for me. The fries are amazing because they have such great seasoning. They have their own special blend, and it's delicious. You should certainly try it out for yourself. Overall, it's not a fine dining experience but its good for a satisfying burger or a good place to take larger groups. They even have crayons and balloons for kids, upon request.

Red Robin - especially *THIS* Red Robin, highlights all that I hate about mega-corporate-conglomerate cookie-cutter chains in a mall. The lack of quality, lackadaisal service - and well, let's face it, the lack of pride in the restaurant itself. Now, Red Robin is one of my super good friend's favorite place, so I'm hoping she never reads this (heh), but today, we had lunch with her and her husband - and we settled on Red Robin. I've never been to this specific Red Robin, but one of the good things that come out of mega-corporate-conglomerate cookie-cutter chains is that you generally get consistancy (sadly, that consistancy is generally of the lukewarm kind). Plus, I got a new place to yelp about. For those of that are unfamiliar with the Red Robin chain, they sell themselves as gourmet burgers - and I must say, there is a good selection of different styles of burgers. They also have good shakes (per my husband), and supposedly "all you can eat" steak fries (more on this in a moment). As this is a "family" type restaurant, we were greated at the hostess station with a bevy of screaming 8 year olds. Oh boy, I thought - but the hostess must have seen my eye rolling, because she sat us in a section far way from the shrieking kids. So one star for the clever hostess. If I had thought to give the tip the hostess instead of the waitress, I would have. We get seated, and our waitress promptly came by to take our orders. The guys each order the Rookie shake, while I ordered a diet coke, and my friend ordered 2 waters (she has a thing about water). We also ordered the burgers - I had the Bayou burger, without the cheese and the sauce on the side. Shortly, our drinks come out, as do our burgers - and our order came out the way we asked - excellent, this is a good start, I thought - until we began to eat. My burger was completely charred. Not "well-done" - it was extremely-done. I'm trying to cut the burger patty (I eat my burger in layers - don't ask) with my fork, and it's like trying to cut into beef jerky. Whatever, I finally cut it, and took a bite, I realize that the fried onions (they call it "angry onions") and roasted red peppers that topped my burger - was completely cold. The cabbage mixture that was on the bottom of the burger was completely flavorless - it was as if they just shreadded some cabbage and tossed it on there. I don't get it. I will say that the burger was spicy - which I wasn't expecting, however the combination of the bland cabbage, the stone-cold onions and peppers, and the hard-over cooked patty, underwhelmed the nice spice of the burger. So the fries. In each of our baskets, we each get like, 6 fries. However, as these are the thick steak-fries, it's OK. Plus, we have the "all you can eat fries", right? Well, a few things about the fries. The seasoning on the fries weren't uniform, so about half of my fries were completely salt-less and tasteless. Also, although the fries were hot, they needed to be fried longer to give it the right amount of crispiness. Whatever, I love fries, so I wolfed my fries down. But when it came time for getting that "all you can eat fries"...? Yeah. So as we're about half way done with our burgers, our waitress came by to plop down the check. She didn't get us refills of water, or my soda. She didn't check to see if we wanted dessert, nor if we needed more fries. Nada. In fact, this is the only time we've seen her outside of taking our order, and giving us our food. She's never checked on us (we had to snag a bottle of ketchup from another table). And now the check? Needless to say - we never saw the waitress again to get more fries. My husband really enjoyed his shake though. To the point where he was scrapping the bottom of his shaker for more. I'm sure he would have liked to order another shake if we could. But we couldn't. All my prejudices about chains in malls aside, as a restaurant that sells itself as a "gourmet burger joint", the burgers weren't good enough to justify that title. Rather then making a bunch of burgers with various toppings - I would have been more impressed if they just served solidly delicious (and hot) burgers. The service was lousy - especially for a fairly dead Saturday afternoon. I would probably only come back if my friend wanted to have lunch here again. No matter how much I'm craving a burger, I don't think I would visit this place on my own.

Great service. There was no wait and it wasn't too crowded. My food came out in a good amount of time and was prepared just the way I asked. My server was top notch and had the best personality.

Even though you might think this is a "burger joint", you may find any kind of food, including pastas, soups, salads and rice. Great service, upbeat atmosphere, lots of kids but still quiet enough to have an adult conversation. My absolute favorite was the bruschetta chicken sandwich, top it off with a milkshake and you'll have a great meal for under $15. They have a guy making balloon animals on Thursday and Friday nights, the kids love it and is also one of my favorite places.

Columbia's Red Robin has better ambiance and better service, in my honest opinion, but this place rarely has any kids in it and that's fine by me. That's even a bonus. Actually, Columbia is almost too busy, so that's a bummer. I haven't enjoyed the food as much both times I've been to this location, but we'll be back because my husband LOVES Red Robin. He gets his RR craving every two weeks or so and we have to go so he can get his Bonzai Burger with Honey Poppyseed dressing on the side so he can dip his fries in it. Yes, he's picky, but I think it's cute. That's probably why we've been together so long. Anyway, I'm giving it only 3 stars because of the service mostly, but a little because the food just doesn't seem as good here. I don't know what it is. I was reminded about the crappy experience I had here because we went to Columbia's Red Robin last night and had a great meal. Like Alyce M. mentions in her Columbia RR review, my husband and I ended up here during the tomato scare and it sucked too. We ordered the EXACT same thing as she did (the guacamole and salsa) and we were also sorely disappointed. We also never order that either. Couldn't they have mentioned that they were not using ANY tomatoes? The guacamole sucked and the salsa was out of a jar that they usually mix with fresh tomatoes but because they didn't have any, it was very weird tasting. Overall, we stick to what we know is safe. That's the spinach artichoke dip and their burgers. We like, so we'll be back.

While I didn't personally venture to here, my roommate did. I got a soup and salad combo with chicken tortilla soup. The soup is delicious! As an added bonus for them, they didn't fuss when my roommate requested a caesar salad for me as opposed to the house salad that was supposed to come with it. So no comment on the interior or the waitstaff because I depended on a friend (5 stars to him for helping a sister out!) but the food was great for the $8.99 price.

It seems to me that family/chain restaurants like Red Robin tend to have a dodgy reputation amongst foodies/Yelpers. Despite living right across from the parking lot of the Lakeforest Mall location, I had avoided this burger joint for a long time. After a ridiculously unpleasant experience at the Lakeforest Mall Ruby Tuesday's (review coming soon) I decided to take my business to Red Robin. This is what I got for $22 (not including tip) Two Draft Blue Moons and a shot of Sauza Gold (their rail tequila). It is Happy Hour from 3 to 6 and then at 8 to close. So $2.50 domestic drafts, $3.50 premium drafts plus $3 rail drinks...wow. There is a pick two appetizer deal which comes out to about $5. I got Jalapeno poppers and fried zucchini. The zucchini was fried to perfection, the poppers were just the right kind of gooey and spicy. I also ordered a Banzai burger (patty, cheese, grilled pineapple slice, tomato, lettuce) which is probably one of the best burgers I've ever had...ever. They will also do your burger medium/medium rare upon request...friggin' sweet. The generous amount of steak fries were a heaping mound of salty, salty goodness. Also, I got a free appetizer just for signing up for their loyalty card club program. I chose a mountain of onion rings which were crispy and *drool* Most of this food was to go (lest you think I am some kind of human/pig/goat hybrid) but I genuinely enjoyed my visit. Also, I feel I got a great deal for what I spent. ME LIKEY RED ROBIN! ME LIKEY RED ROBIN!

I've been here a few times now. The experiences were all pleasant. The staff is friendly and the food came out fresh and hot every time. Personally, I enjoy the servers who are "professional", in a sense. They keep to themselves and don't try to overly become involved and talk you to death. I came with a party to chat and enjoy lunch or dinner with friends, not to make friends with the wait staff. Most of all, I like burgers...that are NEAT. I know burgers can fall apart with so many ingredients stuffed in between, but Red Robin burgers somehow stay in tact (to a certain degree) and you get to enjoy the burger without half it falling out as you bite into it. So, friendly, professional staff and neat burgers. "As good as it gets!"

I've been here a few times with the family. Hubby really likes the food. We went recently for a late lunch. He had the prime chophouse burger which he liked. I had the Southwest Grilled Chicken Salad which was ok at best. It's mostly iceburg lettuce with chicken and avocado. There was a lot of other stuff thrown in there (red onion, jalapeno poppers, etc) but it didn't come together for me. I've had much better salads at other similar types of restaurants. The service was friendly but a little lacking in attentiveness. We needed to point out our empty glasses more than once. He tried to take our plates before we were finished eating (again, empty restaurant). And he brought the check before we were finished eating also. I guess he didn't want us to order dessert. Finally, a pet peeve, I think they should ask if you want more fries in a restaurant where they serve "unlimited fries." Overall, ok food with ok service.

I'm not a fan of fast food burgers, but I love them at Red Robin; great the options here too. My favorites: Sautéed 'Shroom Burger (for mushroom lovers) Royal Red Robin Burger® (bacon and egg in your burger) Banzai Burger® (teriyaki & grilled pineapples in your burger) Plus, bottomless fries and strawberry lemonade, what's not to love? The kiddos love the arcade games and colorful, quirky decor ... keeps them entertained :)

While running errands at Lakeforest Mall, we were getting hungry. Since Red Robin's is running a dessert promotion (From July 6-19, spend $10 and get a free dessert of your choice), we decided it wasn't hard to achieve this promotion. We were there in a jiffy. Instead of ordering our usual Arnold Palmer, we were curious about their iced teas. It turns out that in addition to their regular iced teas, they have flavored ones as well. We tried the Raspberry Iced Tea which was sweeter as you reached the bottom of the glass. In my opinion, it would have tasted better if it was shaken and poured over ice. The food and service was good compared to previous visits. Special thanks to Ashley B. for making our visit a pleasant one. We ordered the Arctic Cod Fish & Chips (which consisted four crispy fillets of cod and served with dilly tar tar sauce). We substituted the bottomless steak fries for sweet potato fries and campfire sauce. If you ever eat fries at Red Robin's, you must get the campfire sauce (creamy, tangy, BBQ sauce). We also ordered a Banzai Salad (which consisted of mixed greens, shredded carrots, parsley, grilled pineapple, mandarin oranges, and homemade citrus ale dressing, topped with Chicken Teriyaki and served with two garlic toasts). I informed our server of peanut allergy so they skipped the almonds to be safe. The Chicken Teriyaki consisted of a tender, chicken breast topped with ginger, gourmet-like sauce. I loved how the salad came with the garlic toasts. We ended our meal with Freckled Lemonade Cake (which consisted of vanilla cake, topped with silky, lemon mousse and white chocolate shavings, and soaked in a strawberry sauce). It was light, sweet, and delightful. I liked how the strawberry sauce had strawberry pieces in it. The dessert also benefited Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation :)

Not a bad place for burgers. They have a lot of "gourmet" options to choose from. I had the guacamole bacon burger. I thought they were stingy on the guacamole. Otherwise, it was a decent burger. Unlimited sides: - steak fries, with or without garlic herb - sweet potato fries - side salad - broccoli - fruit Unlike other yelpers' experience, our service was pretty good. Located at Lakeforest Mall. It has it's own separate entrance and plenty of parking.

I love Red Robin... But I love them more when they actually get the order right. I've ordered on 5 separate occasions, and each time they got something wrong. That's my only beef with this location. --- Literally 10 minutes after I wrote this review, I ordered a Red Tavern Double Burger with steamed broccoli. When I arrived 15 minutes later to pick up my order, the bartender told me they are out of broccoli. I asked for a discount, and she refused it saying, "we don't give discounts for items that come without sides". So I replied, "how about discounts for essentially getting my order wrong...?" Again, she refused any discount and instead offered me salad or fruit. I chose fruit, and I've uploaded the pics of what I received (see the soggy fruit pics above). Nice RR. You've lost my business for good. You've also lost another star. Way to go.

That was awful. First of all there's no one there. We were 1 of maybe 4 other families. The service was really slow. My initial drink I ordered took over 15 minutes. The drink was a Roy Rogers. That's just coke and grenadine people. After I did get the drink I never got a single refill all night. Also the server spilled and dropped one of our lemonades in a glass cup on to the floor. The mess did not, and probably will not ever get cleaned up. Food wasn't horrible. And our server was pretty nice.

Um so I already hate red robin but of course my gfs wanted to eat here and so here we are. So no hostess in sight.... a server seats us..then, we get a nice waitress. She was on point in handling tcb. Our orders came out timely, burgers and wings on point. Heres is where they lose stars, They are so damn stingy with the fries!!!! And it lacks flavor! they say bottomless, yeah right!! The chips are horrid! WTF is that mess they serve with the wings! I guess they are cheap to give out celery and carrots like they did in the past. But I would come back here then Germantown.

I can't even begin to describe how bad this experience was. We sat down and immediately ordered my sons kids meal (spaghetti with Parmesan cheese and milk). The waitress's never returns to take our order until I flag her down. My sons milk finally arrives (much after our drinks) and there are black things floating in it. I send it back once I finally flag down a waitress again. What feels like hours later, the waitress attempts to deliver our food (wrong food) and still hasn't brought the kids meal. We send back the wrong food and then his kids meal comes, only there is sauce on the noodles. I ordered plain noodles, which is an option on their menu, I wasn't even getting fancy. The plain noodles come back out and finally our food comes. We eat, the food was decent. We ask for the check immediately because it is impossible to flag down our waitress. The check has meals on it that we didn't order. We point it out, the waitress returns with a new bill. Still food on there we didn't order (6 meals and there were only 4 of us). I ask for a manger, 15 minutes later a manager arrives to apologize. She didn't charge us for any of the meal, which might have been the only saving grace. But I will never be returning.

I'm at Red Robin now. I'm at the bar. The restaurant is very quiet, almost empty. The bartender is much more interested in texting and socializing with coworkers than making money. Average food, terrible service. I give up. Back to Ruby Tuesday...sigh.

I evaluated this establishment by observation from the bar. Bartender, Mara, very thorough, very efficient, very busy, and pleasant given time. Dinners/entrees I saw made my mouth water. Even though I just sat with a draught and appetizer, I observed the management. I'd say it's well organized.

This is a decent choice if you end up in Lakeforest Mall and get hungry. Be patient...their servers seem to have better things to do. Even on a Tuesday afternoon. Even if you are their only table. The food is decent. They have some unique burgers. You can switch out any of their burgers for chicken or a veggie patty so the options are there. There is endless fries with their burgers. I got the cobb salad and it was huge! Tasted great. I will definitely get that again. If I have the patience to wait for it.

Let's just say I have been to my fair share of Red Robins. Which would dictate I would not normally write a review because , it's a chain and I think most people already know whether or not to try them out. My reason for writing definitely comes from the atmosphere of this location . Not one person seemed to genuinely be happy while working there. The hostess was nice .Our server was friendly in a fake way and definitely was not engaging. I am one of those weird folks who can't eat a sandwich if it has lettuce on it . I made sure when ordering my meal to say no lettuce . Of course I had to not only send it back but I was looked at like a weirdo because I wouldn't just pick it off . Here is the thing , I already know I'm odd. I also know what happens when I pick lettuce off a turkey blt. All my mayo goes with it and that just doesn't work for me . Anyhow just be prepared for a not so stellar wait staff experience and I hope you end up pleasantly surprised . On a good note the Mac and cheese that I got as my side was delicious . That might of been starvation after a long day of travel but it was devoured before my turkey blt made it back to the table without lettuce :) I also didn't get a photo of that since I ate it so fast !

We love Red Robin in general but have only been to this location once before and the service the first time was not stellar. We acknowledge that everyone and every place has an off day so we decided to try it again today when we had the hankering for a burger. We drove 20-25 minutes to get there. When we entered the restaurant, there was no one at the host/hostess stand so we stood there while a number of servers noticed us but didn't do anything and someone who looked like a manager looked in our direction but also did nothing. Finally a young man came up front to seat us but made no apology for keeping us waiting and made it seem like we were creating a hardship just to be seated. The restaurant was NOT at all crowded so the delay seemed even worse. We sat at the table for about 5 minutes before a server came up and took our drink orders - we ordered two glasses of wine and two glasses of water. The bar was not at all busy either but it seemed to take an inexplicably long time just to get our drinks. When our server brought our drinks, we placed our food order - blue ribbon burger with lettuce (meant in a lettuce wrap instead of bun but I guess we hadn't mad that clear so got our burgers on buns with extra lettuce) and a royal Red Robin with lettuce (same thing) - we also asked that our fries with garlic aioli come out first because we were very hungry. It took long enough for the fries to come out that we were able to play several games of trivia at the table. The fries arrived without the aioli but the saving grace was that the fries were hot which is very important to us. The server did go get and bring the aioli when we reminded him. Shortly after the burgers came, we were ready to have some more drinks, glasses were empty but no notice was given. Finally, when the server came back to check on us we were able to place our drink orders. Again, as at first, it took a long time for the drink refills to arrive despite barely any traffic at the bar. During the entire visit, someone who looked like a manager was walking around but made no effort to circulate among the customers to see if everything was going okay. We do enjoy Red Robin but would rather drive the extra miles to Gambrills than to return to this location again. We expect more from Red Robin and as such our normal 25% tip was reduced to 17% during this visit to this location.

Worst Red Robin I have been to in thw area. Got a bacon cheeseburger no pink and onion rings. Burger came out with sprinkles of bacon and fries. Then they make me another burger that was pink inside. The onion rings were good. Not a happy camper at all. And dont pay extra for garlic fries...husband got them and they were barely sprinkled with garlic. He ended up putting salt on his garlic fries. We will not be coming back to this Red Robin.

I came to this Red Robin for the first time. Normally, I love Red Robin for their unlimited steak fries and their delicious burgers! This time though, was not a good experience. First and most importantly, the service was SO slow. Could not find our waiter to get us more water, a side of lettuce and tomato, or more sides. Not only did he never refill our waters once, he never came to check on us. We had to hunt around for him. I was tempted just to get up and go to the back myself to ask for things. Our burgers were not good either. I got the prime chophouse and it was bland. My husband got the A1 peppercorn burger, and said he could not taste the A1 sauce. Neither of us were impressed. What happened, Red Robin?? The unlimited steak fries and the unlimited broccoli were good, especially with the Red Robin seasoning, although they were slow in coming out. I would not eat at this Red Robin again.

Well to start off I love Red Robin. But this one in lake forest mall seems never to be busy. It is a product of its location. Sad to say it is probably because of the run down flee market of a mall that it is in. I would make further comment of the malls clientele but wish to keep that to my self. Thank goodness I am moving out of the area. My waitress is great. Food came in good time. The whisky river burger never disappoints. Kudos on my waitress who was also the bartender. Her name is Ellen . Nice, friendly, amazing. A delight. She cares about the customers and business. So for this I up my stars to 4. I would come back and sit in her section.

No stars isn't an option. Sat down and waited for twenty minutes for no service. Then someone came by and said "have you been helped?" My friends and I said no. Another ten minutes went by. We ended up leaving, getting a rude look from the hostess who took thirty minutes to seat us while seating others that came WAY after us with no reservation, and eating at the Panera nearby. First and last visit at this disappointing Red Robin.

Ordered chicken salad. Customer service was great. Only place at Lakeforest Mall that I recommend to eat at. They have Happy Hour all day, every day. Service is usually your average restaurant chain service. Food is ok. But lately they have taken a turn for the worst. Wait times even though the restaurant is half empty; employees goofing off in the front at the hostess area; food takes forever; management lackluster and clearly working with some unmotivated staff and the location is the worst. Take your hunger and money somewhere else.

Red Robin at Lakeforest mall is our family go to spot for a kid friendly dinner. This place is my kids's restaurant of choice and I can't complain because I love their burgers, especially their Royale burger! Can you ever go wrong a fried egg on a burger??

This was a horrible meal tonight. The waitress was not very friendly. My wife's first water tasted like bathroom cleaner. We sent it back. My wife also got tonic water instead of club soda. She asked for club soda. Also my wife's burger was not prepared properly. Finally, my salad did not come out first like I requested. It came with the meal. I was not impressed at all.

Meh. I've been here many times with groups. Sometimes the burgers are better than others. The last time (8 months ago?) was not so good. My wife and I aren't planning on going back. The Lakeforest Mall is going under anways, so I guess the previous statement was a mute point.

I remember the burger being better. I got the whiskey burger and added an egg. It was still good, just not as great as I had remembered. Also, save your money on the mac and cheese. It's not even as good as easy mac. Would have been better off getting another burger, lol.

Today was the first time my husband and I ate here for lunch. It was around 2pm, 90% empty- the absolute worst service we have ever experienced anywhere. After 10 minutes my husband flagged down someone. They apologized, took our drink order and went to find our waitress. 2 min later she appeared with our drinks and apologized as well. "No problem" we thought, now she knows we are here everything will work out fine. Nope, took our orders and when she came back with the food, my order was wrong. She said sorry and took it back. Meanwhile my husband had a salad. Do you think he had any utensils to eat the salad? No, again. She came back with my correct order and I asked her for utensils. Why do I have to ask for eating utensils in a restaurant? Shouldn't they be on the table? My husband was so annoyed but he had wanted something else as well. I told him we'd never see her again if he didn't look for her. 7 minutes later he went looking! The reason for the 3 stars? The food was good.

Wow! I think the Red Robins over by my house in SF Bay Area should take some tips from this one. Into restaurant quickly...and the server was on top of it. Fries kept piping hot, constant refills on drinks and fries. Burger was cooked perfectly.

This may just be your average Red Robin, but with endless fries and strawberry lemonade, what's not to love? Ok perhaps the location could be better, but at least there's always plenty of parking at the not-so-great mall. And who cares if your burger is 1500 calories, enough to give you a heart attack? At least it's tasty! I've found that the waiters and waitresses here are exceptionally nice. My last trip here, we had a really nice and friendly waitress (I'm horrible with names). She constantly checked up on us, refilled drinks and fries, and smiled. a lot. It's seriously not normal to be that smiley all the time. but we definitely appreciated it!

Standard Red Robin fare and would get four stars if not for the location. Went for take out and the food was cooked well. It's in LakeForest mall, a terrible mall but this location is worth getting takeout.

Overall, I love Red Robin. Their burgers are usually great and part of me wants to eat the whole tower of onion rings by myself. But this location just wasn't thrilling me. I stopped in on a Monday afternoon. The place was almost empty and some of the staff seemed to think that that meant they could just take their time. The guy seating tables took the family ahead of me to their seats and then got waylaid on the walk back and just stood there chatting with one of his friends for a minute or two - while a couple of groups were standing around waiting to be seated. My cup of french onion soup had a really nice flavor to it. Unfortunately, the onions were cooked unevenly - and most of them were undercooked. The cup also seemed like they kind of skimped on it. At most places, you'll get a cup or bowl that's filled to the brim - that wasn't the case here. My patty melt was better. It was cooked properly and the onions were fully cooked this time. My waitress was acceptable. Friendly enough, but didn't do check on me after she brought my patty melt until I was done. Someone from corporate needs to come in here and straighten this place out.

i love root beer floats. i love bottomless root beer floats even more. I came here with a pretty large group (approx 20 people) and the service was friendly and efficient. I like their variety of burgers, chicken sandwiches, and salads. Everything I've had at Red Robin tasted good, the calories are a different story.

This is a first.. my first one-star review! Saturday night at Red Robin. We were greeted by a zombie hostess who looked like she had not slept in two days. She had no idea where to seat anyone, and would just walk away when people came in, leaving the people befuddled. We finally got a waitress and it took a very long time to get our drinks. After being served our food, we had to yell out to her to get napkins (at which point she realized that nobody in her section had napkins or utensils). There were people around us who had finished eating without them. Rather than rush to get us napkins for our messy food, she starts wrapping utensil rolls in the back and comes back 10 minutes later with it. In my opinion if your customers have messy burgers and no napkins, then this is an emergency!! No table service between the time the food was served and the time the check came. No refills.. we really wanted to take advantage of the endless fries, but did not have another hour to spare. Food was just ok.

Well its in Lake Forest Mall. Malls in restaurants are unfortunate because I always forget they exist because I dislike going to malls. We had a server named Sefra(jeez I hope I remembered/spelled it right). She was great patient and insightful into the menu. The table was sticky. I ordered the Royal burger which was good. I didn't think I was into the whole "put an ego on a burger" kind of thing" but I enjoyed it. The beer menu is subpar. overall I think Red Robin is cool.

This place is okay but the tables feel disgusting. They have an oily residue that makes me want to keep my hands on my lap.

When we're hungry, and it's late, and we "need" some steak fries or a fried egg on a burger, we come to Red Robin. We've never had to wait here, so of course that is a draw in G-burg, where it seems you have to wait everywhere. Seriously, why aren't there more restaurants in G-burg? I digress... Solid burgers, good fries with seasoned salt. My favorite burger is the Royal Red Robin burger, which has a fried egg and bacon on top. There is something fantastic and naughty about a egg over easy on top of a beef patty. Guilty eating, definitely. They have a new addition to their dessert menu, which we generally avoid since it isn't anything special--cupcakes. Now of course cupcakes are the rage right now, and who would think a chain burger restaurant would have good cupcakes, BUT THEY DO. We had the chocolate cupcake and the Freckled Lemonade (named after a non-alcoholic drink at RR), and they were sooo good! I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcakes in DC last year, and Red Robin's were better, and like 1/8 the cost. Each cupcake was less than $2, and they were moist and flavorful and the perfect bite (or two) at the end of the meal. The Freckled Lemonade cupcake had strawberry filling, and lemon icing. Red Robin wouldn't be my last meal on earth, but it's worth a try. Also really the only reason to go to Lakeforest Mall.

I was watching a TV show online and saw an ad for Red Robin, I just moved to D.C. and had never heard of it. Ordered a banana milkshake... and on my first sip i nearly wept. I have since ordered strawberry, as well. The single best strawberry shake ever! I've fallen in love with Royal Red Robin Burger modified as I like it... when I bit into this burger, the clouds parted, and angels were weeping in heaven. There is no better place to go to get a burger. And a made to order burger, there's no looking at you like you're crazy or you're wasting there time. Red Robin is there to make you your dream burger down to the last detail and they succeed! Plus they have great appetizes, great drinks, great everything. Occaisionally the wait times are a little bad, but who cares, it's worth it for this gift from the gods. I cannot recommend Red Robin enough... it is fantastic. I've only been to two locations, but the lakeforest mall seems to be my staple these days. The service is good there, the atmosphere is nice too, Fantastic... I can't say enough about it!

After an evening of rings, bachelor/ette parties planning, mini-moon planning (small short honeymoons) racing through my head now I'm hungry. Well would do you think? Ask fiance "huh, Think about what?" she just looks at me "Food I can't think without food and it's getting late." So by this time it's 8:50 well let's see if this place will still be open, 11:00 okay then well there we go perfect. One staff gal there was just sitting down to eat her diner. I hate to interrupt when someone is about to eat and she was off duty but she was very pleasant and said that it was no problem after I apologized. She quickly seated us "Rachael will be your server she's real good and she'll be out right away". In a blur out comes Rachael "Hi I'm Rachael and I'll be your server....nice smile very positive. She gets our drink order fiance is having a margarita and me I'm having a Blue Moon beer or something like that, never had one before. Fiance orders fish and chips and shrimp cause shrimp is her favorite food in the whole wide world and I go with the pepper burger medium done. The Margarita was very weak more like a watergarita the Blue beer was okay but not something that I would order again. Very limited selections of brew. The food was meh but you know it is what it is. A mall burger joint better than a McDonald's but less than a Kobe burger. Fries were uneven in the seasoning but that's why they have the seasoning right there on the table so that you can fix it right. The hamburger was well done. When you want it well done ask for medium if you want it medium ask for rare if you want it burnt to a crisp ask for well done. Something I learned over the years. Gosh that's alot of onions that were on the burger so I took them all off but the bread had onions built in it so either way I was getting bad breath but that's why they invented Altoids. Fiance's fish and chips and shrimp were basic cod fish I don't know after having the beer battered coconut shrimp at Outback steakhouse I now compare all breaded shrimp to theirs and I know that I shouldn't. Cod is always a rather bland fish that can easily be flavored into being fake crab, shark fin soup, lobster meat or mimic many other fish when flavored correctly. So the trick for that British staple would be to flavor up the batter with say some wasabi salt, but unfortunately it just kind of lays there flat like a flaky light pastry. Much potential but.... again it is what it is. The food isn't bad I've had much worst at more expensive places, it isn't great either because.... it simply is what it is Fast Mall Food. So for the prices what do you expect dinner at Normandy Farms? However I can't say anything bad about our waitress at all. Rachael she did a very good job making her rounds quickly and efficiently. Nice conversations, very motivated and pleasant, she made it a real nice stay. Come to find out, that she too is getting married in October so best wishes to her and she loves the city of Las Vegas and she just got back, so we had a lot to talk about at our table. Overall I give the Red Robin food 2 stars but with Rachael they get 3. Go on give her a raise boss-man. It's workers like her that many places need more of.

So, I was first taken there because my dining partner claimed it to be the best burger and shake place in the area. Unfortunately, I'm not really a burger eater but it seems as though this place has a uniqueness to it with it "made to preference" orders of burgers. Oh and don't forget the shakes! Those are awesome here... have yet to find a place that makes better shakes. When you order a shake, it comes in the cup that it was mixed in so you get enough for two large glasses. Worth every penny! My dining partner had a red robin burger and started changing all of the amenities and the waitress just kept smiling as if it were standard for customers to change the orders. It was a refreshing suprise and pleasant environment where the staff is friendly (a redeeming quality for those of you that are from DC or the Bethesda area). I would make a trip out there again just for their Caesar Chicken Wraps which I end up getting the Caesar dressing and the cheese on the side. It's just yummy!
