Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Keep your pizza intake to one slice to avoid high cholesterol intake while you dine at Pizza Hut. Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. It's a chain so I figured it would be a pretty basic conformed to corporate cheese pizza. With that in mind, I did not think a Yelp check would be necessary. Boy was I wrong. A medium cheese pizza came an hour and ten minutes after ordering and all 3 of us that ate it have been sick all night and morning. My sides hurt from throwing up so much. My little girl slept on the bathroom floor so she would not miss the target when needed. We've about run out of toilet paper. No one was ill all day. After we ate this pizza, within 15 minutes we were all fighting for the closest bathroom. Will never ever order from here again. At this point I may never even eat pizza again. That's how sick we all have been. Note to self- ALWAYS ALWAYS consult Yelp reviews. Even on a chain restaurant. Don't assume all chains live up to corporate standards. It was my birthday yesterday. A quiet night at home with my family. A pizza and a movie rental night turned into musical chairs on the toilet seats. Wish I could leave minus 5 stars. My stomach is still bubbly and we have downed an entire bottle of Pepto and anti nausea medicine between 3 of us. Terrible experience. BAAAD! Update- area manager just called me to argue with me that there was no way his pizza made my family sick. He never asked if we were better or offer an apology- just wanted to argue and say food poisoning can take up to 24 hours so it could have been something my family ate the day before. Terrible customer service even from higher up. I did not want anything free- I did not even ask for a refund. I just wanted a little compassion and not an argument that his establishment always practices safe food handling and takes temps several times a day. Or to be told that it must have been something we ate the day before.

I would suggest not ordering from this pizza hut. I have ordered from here a couple times. Each time probably 6 months between hoping they had gotten better. Recently I ordered one of the boxes that comes with a medium pizza, cinnamon sticks, and cheese sticks. The pepperoni pizza had 1 pepperoni on each slice of pizza. The breadsticks had no cheese on them and were definitely left in a warmer for too long. I called them and just asked for the cheesesticks, they had me talk to a manager who wanted to just give me a credit for them next time I order. I asked them to bring me the cheesesticks instead. It sounded like a huge inconvenience to them but whatever they did it. The guy who brought the replacement order did not bring the marina sauce with them because they had given me some with the breadsticks even though it had been cold been then. They guy who brought the replacement stood there for a little longer expecting me to tip again...I appreciate the replacement, but I tipped 20% the first time for sub-par food. Any time before this recent one was just ok, not sure my order has ever been 100% correct.

Ok, you never really expect anything much from pizza delivery. The food is greasy and not really that good and the only reason I order it is so I don't have to leave my house. But the problem with delivery is that they have your address. Here's what happened: We ordered our pizza around 6:30pm. We called the restaurant at 7:30 to ask where the heck were they. The store is right across the street from us an hour is more than enough time for them to get to our house. The driver finally showed up at 7:40pm. When the driver gave me the total he said it was $18. I asked him if he was right because the website total was $27. He showed me a receipt that came said $18. So I gave him a $20 and told him to keep the change. At 8:28pm, the same driver comes back and asks for more money because he made a mistake. After he told me I owed him money, he stared at me. He didn't say he was sorry he just said he wanted $10. I couldn't believe it. He wouldn't leave, so I gave him the money. Now yes, the bill was originally $27, but still...a mistake on the driver's part doesn't warrant him showing up and asking for more money with no apology. It reminds me that these creepy people have our addresses and can do whatever with it. We will not be using this place ever again.

First off, it's Pizza Hut, a corporate behemoth that specializes in getting me sick every time I have their pizza. With that said, it was here where I discovered how above average their Chicken Alfredo Cheese Pizza (or something like that). I waited 20 minutes for it, but it was worth it. The workers here are friendly. I didn't encounter any problems with attitudes or anything. I seriously wish there were more pizza places nearby that I could eat at instead of this one...

I am disappointed by the mushy pizza called Supreme, the pizza was tasteless and soggy, even the thin crust didn't help.Recently I got a pizza from Pizza Hut in Daytona beach,Florida and it was delicious, but this one - not even close.I understand its a franchise and the owners and managers are different, but somebody has to pay attention on this things, otherwise people can stop going to the chain at all expecting the same bad quality food.

Your order will go through online, then the driver will show up, will tell you it didn't and demand cash. He will claim that they can't run your card again. The store will put you on hold when you call in Then the manager will grow indignant when you tell her to run the card again, and that you can't speak to her manager. Meanwhile the card is fine and you're using it elsewhere.... Sketchy as hell, I'm done with this location.

We finished our order at 5:35 pm and did not receive our order until 7:15 pm. Additionally, we had phoned the store at 6:30 pm to ask about our order, and they simply told us it had already left the store. When our food arrived, it was cold. Secondly, we received a call the day after saying there was an issue with our credit card transaction. When we called back, they said they solved it. Overall, I was disappointed with our food and service. The employees I spoke with were polite, but were not helpful or apologetic (with the exception of the driver, he did apologize). They did not offer to solve the problem or go out of their way to help. We will not be ordering from here again.

Not only do I love stuffed crust pizza, but I like how this place and how it has become better over the years. The only problem that bothers me is that sometimes they can't find my order and I see it on the shelf behind them. Maybe they should label things better?

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
