I frequently ate there because it was close to work. I love the cute couple that own it, they are very sweet. The wife runs the register and takes orders while her husband cooks the food. He makes tasty deli food. My favorite is the philly steak and cheese or chicken sandwich. He also makes great breakfast platters at reasonable prices. Quick to order and like someone else said, customizable!

Awesome mom and pop (husband and wife) owned and run deli. Food is made quick to order and customizable! I got the grilled chicken Caesar wrap. Only down side is the arizona .99 iced tea cost $1.19.

Diamond Deli distinguishes itself from other low-end delis by virtue of its hot food bar. I didn't try it, as it's already hot enough outside this time of year to make Kojak's head sweat. But they had an interesting mix of Thanksgiving dinner trays (turkey/gravy/stuffing and cran relish); alongside asian-ish tofu, chicken and beef noodle/rice concoctions. I stuck with the deli items and had a solidly good but underwhelming turkey and swiss sandwich on a hoagie roll. The turkey portion was average for the price. This is a nice change from Subway if you want to create your own sandwich with seemingly fresher ingredients, but it will never win any Oskar (Meyer) awards.

I found this Gem back in 2011 looking for a cheese steak sub and it turned out fantastic. Ever since then I've been picking up food from this spot - I have appreciated their timely service and quality food 100%. I usually pick up breakfast now, ham - egg - & cheese on a croissant - and it's the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. No other place can compare (trust me I've tried other spots). Thank you Diamond Deli for always having great service and being the best darn spot in Gaithersburg. I will forever be a customer of yours. Definitely try this place out! You won't regret it!
