Ordered through their online system and received a confirmation email. but no food.... all of the phone numbers went to voice mail and finally called the cell number on the website, which got me in touch with the driver... didnt do any good. Not going to do that again. Waited over an hour for nothing.

This place is like a hidden Joule close to my home. Have been ordering food from past few year here. It is family owned and most important good quality and little cost. Not sure why this place so many bad review.

I don't understand why your business continues to leave menus on my property when it is not allowed in my community (Thomas Choice Gardens Condominiums). I have called repeatedly and have asked you to obey our regulations, but you fail to do so. Whenever I ask for the manager, I am told that they are not there. They are never there. If I were to call and request a delivery, you could understand my address, but you cannot understand "no soliciting." Please stop.

AVOID. I went here because it is walking distance from my house and I wanted to see if it was any good. Long story short, I will never go here again. First, the woman who works in the front barely speaks English and it was nearly impossible to understand her. I ordered orange chicken (which is on their paper menu) and I was told they do not have orange chicken and she pointed to the menu on the wall (which has only ten items) and told me to order from that. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, to go. They put the sauce (which has the consistency of water) in a separate container from the "chicken", if you could even call it that. The chicken looks like little brown nuggets that are mushy on the inside, and it definitely doesn't taste like chicken. McDonalds chicken nuggets are more chicken-like. The sauce is so watery that it just gets the nuggets wet and it all settles underneath the chicken. I took 3 bites and threw the rest of it away. I will never return to this place!

This has been my go to spot for that "once in a while fried jumbo chicken wing itch" since 2005. They never fail to satisfy the craving and an order of french fries on the side is top notch.

I have to agree with Edddie D. about the kung pao chicken. It is not the best Chinese food by a long shot, but when you are in a hurry and need a quick bite this will do. It's not a place I would go out of my way to eat or even take someone too, but if I am passing by around lunchtime, I'll stop by. It's cheap so that's about the best thing I can say about it.

The take out is good if what you want is greasy american chinese food. Which sometimes really hits the spot. They usually give you a free carton of...something. I have yet to figure out what it is. It just says Free on it. I think it is...fried chicken sauce green pepper mixture. Hm. Well, it's Free. They do have delivery, but I have yet to get my food delivered.

I used to order China King on a weekly basis. Based upon my recent experience I may never call on them again. Here's a little backstory. Entry into my apartment building is impossible unless somebody lets you in. So I always specify that the driver has to call me when he gets here so I can go downstairs, get my food and pay for it. This did not seem to be a problem in the past. But the lady I gave my order and address to kept asking me for the apartment number...repeatedly. I kept repeating my instructions for the driver to call me since he cannot enter the building by himself. Lady kept asking me for "apaaapmen' nummbbbaaaa" getting louder and louder each time. At the end, she was yelling into the phone..."apaaapmen' numbbbaaaaa??!!" Thought about hanging up on her but finally just gave her the number. After a ridiculously long wait (more than an hour) I hear a knock on my door. Nobody knocks on my door so I was a little bit freaked out. And lo and behold, there is the driver with my food. I promptly asked him how the hell he got inside and he told me one of the neighbors let him in. My instructions to call me upon delivery were blatantly ignored. Furthermore, when I took the trash out later that afternoon, I found China King menus posted on every single door in my building! The little tosser, who should not have entered the building, took the time to walk up and down the building distributing menus! After all this, I would not order China King again if their food was on a par with PF Chang. But the delivery food this time around was just awful. The spare ribs and egg rolls in the pupu platter (my former favorites) were dry and tasteless. There was virtually no chicken in the Szechuan chicken just cold vegetables drenched in a sweet (not hot) sauce. Never, ever again!

I could always tell how good an American Chinese restaurant is by ordering their Kung Pao Chicken. Sorry, this one didn't pass my standard. Yellow fried rice was, well, yellow. Kung Pao chicken contains mostly celery and water chestnuts with a too sweet hoisin sauce. The lunch special price was cheap; you get soda, egg roll or a choice of soup with the order. But again, you get what you pay for.

It's been a while since I've had a real hankering for some Chinese food. Ever since my former regular spot in Laurel closed down, I haven't really gotten back out there to find a new favorite. I suppose it's time! We decided to give China King a shot the other night. It's well-priced, decent Chinese food. For some reason, I was really feeling the egg that night, so we ended up with the egg drop soup, which seemed a little thick, but still tasty... egg foo young with chicken, and crispy beef. I've had chewier, crispier crispy beef but it was still pretty good. They stuck two free egg rolls in the bag, but left out the fortune cookies! Argh! Going so long without some Chinese, I was a bit disappointed. I mean, who doesn't love the simple pleasure of breaking open a fortune cookie?

Pretty good considering they're open late but really isn't the best in Chinese around the area. They're combination fried rice with a orange soda hits the spot at midnight which is usually when theyre still open

There is a time and place for everything. If you want authentic chinese food go someplace else. If you want americanized chinese take out, it's just great. Tastes good and the folks are nice.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
