I'm going to say something I thought I'd never say. The fish tacos here are actually pretty good. Ok. Otherwise my kids won't even eat here. But they are picky eaters. The tvs show old games which is weird. So it's passable for a happy hour place. We had fun. The staff was very fun too.

After my second visit, I've decided to never go back. I enjoy the wings but I hate the service. We were immediately seated and looked at the menu. It took our server 15 minutes to acknowledge us and take our beer order. Another 30 minutes went by, our food finally arrived; all of the food was room temperature. I ordered the spinach chicken flat bread.. what a MISTAKE. No flavor and the chicken was incredibly dry. My friends ordered quesadilla and chicken tenders. The quesadilla was served with no salsa and had no flavor. The chicken tenders were dry but luckily enough sauce was provided. Towards the end of our meal, we ordered 3 beers... Our server brought over two of those beers. We tried to flag our server because our other beer didn't arrive and we could see it was waiting at the bar. After 15 minutes, I got up and asked the bartender if I could have my beer. The server came over to apologize but I didn't care for it. This was not the first time I've had to do this. The last visit, our server wouldn't give us refills on our soda.. I grabbed all our cups and filled them up myself while the server watched. The restaurant was not busy during this visit and had plenty of people working. There was one gentleman that clearly hated his job...he would slam dishes, yell beer names when he brought it over to the table, and complain about customers to other servers (yes we could hear). Do everyone a favor, quit. BWW, get a clue and hire new staff. My friends and I will no longer visit this location until that happens.

Now, I don't live in MoCo anymore, but I was glad to see that they opened a BWW. It's a chain, yeah -- but dude are we lacking in a place that stays open past 10pm or 12am in Gaithersburg. Not even dogfishhead was still open, the hell! It was 11:30pm , the night just getting started and I had a hard time finding a place that was still open. I was actually heading to Quincys, dive bar for a few drinks to close the night down and super happy to see a BWW at the time. A tall glass of blue moon priced at $5.50 I find fair. The bartender/server was friendly. We opted to get the spiciest of spicy- blazin' wings. Now trust, my bf and I eat spicy allllll the time. We are ALWAYS disappointed so we went for the spiciest. Holy cow -- spiciest thing I've ever had in my whole life. It was really flavorful, but the lingering afterburn would last for like5 minutes after each wing. I feel defeated... but happy at the same time because nothing has yet challenged my spicy palate. I'll probably opt for a less spicy level next time.. it was so spicy I had to wait between wings.. and I like stuffing my face faster :) Solid.. or only choice open at the hour.

Our server was newcomer Ashley. She was great! We eat here all the time. Love the wings. I can't get enough of them. Great place to end the day.

This is the closest BWW to my house, we have gone there two times and both times have left there very frustrated. Food is generally the same as in other BWWs, however, the service has a lot to be desired. You do not get a personalize touch at all by going there. It feels like you are an inconvenience more than a customer. I wouldn't recommend going to this location. To me, going out to eat is just as much about the experience as it is the food. I would drive a few miles north to Urbana where it seems that you get much better service.

It's buffalo wild wings what can I say, but depending on your sever can be positive or negative experience

This location is easy to see but a little challenging to get to. Its near the la fitness and Home goods stores. The service is good, and the wings are decent. A little on the sweet side for me, had the mango habanero and jalapeño wings. BUT had the ghost pepper sauce on the side and the flavor is great! It is HOT though. So beware... I would go back just for the sauce....

I wish I could give less of a star. Went to this location with the family and was highly disappointed. We arrived and was quickly seated by a nice young man (Jo Jo). The table was filthy and he quickly cleaned off for us. We sat for 5 min and a server came to another table. We waited another 5 min and still no server but a different server brought that same table a beer. I asked her to please send our server because it has been 10 min. After another 6 min my daughter said she is hungry and can we go somewhere different to eat. And yet a different server came to that same table. We left after seating for 16 min and no one acknowledging us but 3 different servers went to the same table for whatever reason. On our way out there were 6 servers blocking the exit laughing and playing around. A heavy set girl laughingly said "it wasn't my fault" go to this place only if you want to be ignored !!

Main reason I go there is to watch the steelers games. They show all of the games. The food is average, but on an nfl Sunday who goes there for the food? Find out what beer special they have during football season.

The wings are delicious. My husband and I like to get chipotle BBQ, which are pretty good. Too bad the service here is horrible. It starts out good. They bring your first round of drinks and then your food, but then they disappear. They hardly ever check on you to see if your food was good, if you need anything, or would like to add another drink. Good luck paying your bill. We asked another server to bring our bill he then went to find our server which took another 20 minutes. After she brought our bill she disappeared again. I am sad to say this is not a one time thing. It has happened many times I have visited here. If you want to eat at BWW go to the one in Urbana it is always packed because the service there is much better. DO NOT go to the Gaithersburg one.

I usually go here when I get tired of watching the games at home. Came with a friend to watch and sit at the in the bar area on Sunday. It was crowded, but amazingly we found a table! Even with the crowd, it wasn't uncomfortable at all. This location is fairly new, so it's very nice. The wait staff were really nice and attentive to whenever we needed something. Even when the fans got too rowdy, the staff were still friendly and professional. I usually get bbq wings, but this time I tried the Tailgating Sampler. It comes with wings, pretzels and queso, pita chips and spinach dip, and cheddar jalapeno bites. Most of it was delicious, but I wasn't a fan of the pretzels. Too bready and it didn't go very well with the queso. Plain cheese dip would've been a better idea. Tip: I recommend the Twisted Margaritas! They were really yummy... I had two.

Hands down THE WORST wings I have ever had. Over cooked over seasoned boneless wings. Cheese fries looked and felt like they were under the heat lamp.....one huge clump. Drink refills????? Forget about it! Save your time and money. Go somewhere else. My first time here will be my last. Below bowling alley food. Way below.

  • Cat M.

This place does not have pool tables. I called them and the guy said that they did, but they do not. I wasted $18th in cab fare to get here. If you search yelp for bars with pool tables this place comes up even though they Don't have pool tables!!

    (2)
  • Abby K.

Hot wings are very good. Honey BBQ is my other favorite. The boneless wings are very breaded, I would recommend traditional. Not very good service. My server came by once, with our food and never refilled our drinks.. Was not very impressed.

  • Megan B.

I've honestly had nothing but good experiences here, so was rather surprised to see how low the reviews were. The food is decent, and the beer is cold and cheap. I had great service when I went for a basketball game with friends, and even better when I went for a late night meal with my family...including a petulant 2 year old. They even brought her some sort of tablet computer encased in hard plastic that kept her quiet and busy the whole meal. It's a BWW; a chain restaurant. Don't expect fine dining, but it's not bad either.

  • Roy S.

I really liked the Mango Habanero sauce and the This chili as well. Much bigger wings then hooters and better tasting. A solid spot!!

  • Trisha H.

The reason this particular location gets two stars is because of the service. The food is your typical BWW food, so I'm not complaining there. But, the service was horrible. The manager came to take our order because our server was MIA, and when servers did show up, they kept changing, so we never knew which one was ours, and when we needed to pay the check, we waited around and no one came, so we had to go to the register to ask. What a total service breakdown.

A wide variety of wings to choose from, If you're in the mood for typical american food and a large selection of wing sauces to choose from - this is the place to go.

Came to this Buffalo Wild Wings after bowling at Bowl America down the street around 11:30pm. We were hoping games were on to watch and that it was not crowded/busy around this time. Matter of fact, there were open tables everywhere and the bar was completely open (minus one person). My group of 5 could all sit at the bar together. I was happy with the customer service at the bar. When asked, the bartender quickly changed the current TV station to the NBA game that I desired. However, the food came out slowly. It took about half an hour. I would think that since it wasn't crowded the food would be cooked and served quicker. I was overall satisfied with the food. It came out warm and the bartender gave me a free ranch dipping. In addition, I ordered a tall Loose Cannon for $5.50. This price was that day's specials which were posted by the bar. They had 4 other beers on special (on a Wednesday night). The pricing on the food however is a little overpriced for the amount they offer. I ordered the steak burger and that was about $12. Pro: Beer and food variety, customer service, the amount of seating provided (depending on the time), and the amount of TV's in the restaurant. Con: Price, speed of serving food. Overall, I would recommend this place.

1.5 stars - and those are for the food ALONE. From my experience last night and the other reviews here, I think the staff at this location need to be completely re-trained. The amount of time it takes to get a beer - or anything - at this location is both ridiculous and embarrassing. The food itself isn't half bad, but I would stick to the wings. I got 5 Jammin Jalepeno and 5 Honey BBQ. The Honey BBQ ones were way too sticky, but I liked the kick I got from the jalepeno sauce. The wings were decently sized so no complaints there. Our table also got the veggie platter appetizer - supposed to come with cucumbers, red peppers, celery, carrots, pita bread, and hummus - but we didn't have any cucumbers and the hummus was a measly portion the size of a small condiments container. Beer took almost 15 minutes to arrive at our table - almost an entire quarter of NBA Finals Game 4 had elapsed. I saw our waitress wandering around but not seeming to pay attention to any of the tables in her section, including ours. At a place where there are servers everywhere, it's hard to understand why getting served in a timely manner is so difficult. Greeters at the door are unprofessional and goofing around with each other instead of doing their job. From the minute you walk in, you're doomed to poor customer service. My advice? Worth the drive to the Rockville location or stay home instead.

Came here on a Thursday with some friends during lunch for their Half-Off Boneless Wings and I gotta say that this location is lacking a serious dose of customer service. The food that I ordered was okay. I'll start off with the bad before I move onto the, okay, side of things. The customer service here is awkward at best. Our server seemed like he's very inexperienced. When he came with our waters, he put them all in the corner of the table, not in front of each of us and he handed out straws to 2/4 people on our table and just tossed the other 2 down. Then he left. He took our order then came back and didn't know who ordered what. Then literally, a few seconds later, he asks us how our food is when we didn't even get to dive in yet. One of my friend's dishes was also late, but that could be either the kitchen or runner or server's fault. After the meal, it took what seemed like forever for the server to come back with the check, knowing that it was lunch hour rush. My boneless wings were okay. Kind of difficult to mess those up. One of my honey bbq baskets were under sauced, so I had to ask for more. The chicken wasn't dry, even though it was boneless white meat. The price can't be beat at $0.60 per piece, though it would be sweet if it were that price for the entire basket. All and all, the chicken here is good. The atmosphere here is cool. The service is ehhhhhhh~. Kinda ruins the experience. The Rockville Town Center location is much better.

I've never written a yelp review. That's how bad the service is at this BWW. My family and I do take out due to our medically complex infant. Initially they were accurate, not that we have complex requests..just extra crispy. As time went on their ability to deliver a quality service and product deteriorated. Twice they've messed up the order and one of those I asked the server to repeat back my order and still messed up. He also apparently is not familiar with what a "dozen" is or that 12 plus 12 equals 24(please pay attention in math class kids..only subject that is applied daily and not up for debate). Tonight for a 3rd time they served me dry wings with no parmeson garlic sauce. I could have made dry wings. But this pattern seems to be the same at every BWW I've visited. They're great for 3-6 months then turn to a notch above McDonalds.

Had 12+ tables that hadn't been cleaned. Waited 15 minutes and still wasn't seated.

Having been to several BWW, I can honestly say this one is the absolute WORST! Our order was messed up and food delayed. The waitress was MIA most of the time. The celery was literally white -- not green -- and the carrot sticks covered in a white film indicating that it was dried out and OLD. We couldn't even eat the spinach artichoke dip as it looked like green slime. Honestly, I will be calling the health department tomorrow. DISGUSTING!

  • Stuart W.

My wife and I always enjoy BWW food. It comes quick and is always tasty. On occassion we have received less than perfect service, but on our latest visit the service provided by Nathan was excellent. A friendly guy and excellent server. We had a $10 coupon because the last time we came our take-out order was messed up. The general manager on this occassion, who's name I cannot remember, came and talked to us to address any concerns we had. This is the kind of customer service we appreciate, and we will definitely return. BWW may make mistakes, but they do ensure that they correct them, unlike other places we have visited.

Let me start with a confession. I am not a sports fan. And this place is all about the sports events of the day being shown on televisions all over the place. I go to BWW for the wings and their trivia game. The wings are among the few truly hot and spicy foods that I've been able to find anywhere. I always have the blazin' wings, which are the hottest they serve. But somehow the wings here are different from those elsewhere. I think this restaurant drowns them in more sauce than most other BWW locations. The result is not good. The wings are completely overwhelmed and eating them--a messy process at any location--is made even messier than normal. The trivia is very fun. I wish that more BWW locations had a regular trivia night. But maybe not this one. Since they opened, the wifi has been absolutely terrible. As a result, it is impossible to play from many tables in the restaurant. I have pretty much stopped going here. Other BWW locations are fine and I can still be found in Rockville or Urbana. I tried this location again recently and nothing seemed to have changed. That's a shame because this place is only 5 minutes from home for me. They need to fix some things. The service has been fine. It's just that the food and fun are not up to par.

This could be "the place"... big bar, lots of tv, wings, beer, ample seating for family... but it's such a relic to a place that hires apathetic employees who are more interested in talking to each other and watching tv's as opposed to getting their server game on. We were a table of 8, two families, and had a big order. Kids had 3 sprites (or whatever the Pepsi version is) and a ginger ale. What seemed like a long time, server comes down and puts down 5 sprites and an ordered club soda minus the requested lemon and a few waters, leaving us to figure out which are which....No straws. Appetizers come and a few of those paper basket plate things... no napkins, silverware. Not sure why they changed wing sizes from a specific number to small, medium and large. How many is in each? How often is that asked? Is this so they can serve by weight? For a wing joint, the wings aren't that good.

We may FINALLY have a large hang out restaurant and happy hour bar in the center of Gaithersburg! There have been a lot of attempts, but other than Dogfish (which is great but get's pretty crowded) everything has failed. Have been here a couple times now and the food service continues to be SLOW. The servers are friendly, but don't expect to go for lunch and expect to be in/out within 45minutes to an hour...it is likely to take that long to get your food the first time, and longer when they bring what you actually ordered. Huge beer selection and the large menu you can read about on the chain website. The wings are very good. They come in an array of styles with specials every day of the week. I like the hotter sauces and they are actually very hot! Which is rare. Hot, flavorful and edible. I like the Mango Habanero. This is a total redesign of the Chevy's location. Completely opened up with a large bar area, DOZENs of televisions and DOZENs of friendly energetic staff waiting to help you out. It is a chain, but the one up in Urbana has become a great neighborhood hangout. Hopefully this one doesn't get too ghetto as there are some sketchy neighborhoods in the vicinity. With the new L.A. Fitness in the same mall which draws a crowd, I hope this does okay. Nice to have choices.

This place sucks, service sucks, food sucks, everything sucks, how can it take 30 minutes to get a beer, and how can I take 40 minutes to get wings

    (1)
  • Christopher C.

Seriously? How hard is it to take a phone order. I ordered a "sampler" and that couldn't be done correctly? Now rest of the food is 10 minutes cold and I had to wait another 5 minutes to pay. The young man dealing with takeout (who didn't take the initial order) worked hard trying to rectify things and the manager graciously offered a discount, but who charges 60 cents for a sauce that I asked for in the beginning and is only "extra" because the initial order was messed up? Finally, don't wings come with celery and carrot sticks?

    (1)
  • Loring P.

5 reviews cause I'm a bit of a stickler for the perfect chicken wing. I hate fat, grisly wings. This location cooks 'em up to perfection. A ton of different sauces to choose from. Some are sweet, some will burn your freakin mouth off. But hey, they are wings .... And this location is the best!

    (5)
  • Janet F.

I'm giving this a single star because you need to give something in order to write a reviews. We were here for two hours and literally got our food 25 minutes before we left. I could understand the wait if there were filled tables around us, however we were one of four tables in the entire section. The manager did not seem to care about our complaints concerning service or that we were charged for two items we never recieved. After raising the concerns, the manager never came over and the staff proceeded to yell stuck up under their breath while we walked out. Not to mention our server asked if we were sure we had not eaten the items and then counted the cardboard boats to make sure. As for the food...it was less then good. While it may have been tainted already by the poor service, I ordered Thai curry wings that were more mild than the honey BBQ. The burger at our table was bland and after two attempts to get the toppings correct we gave up. The best thing may have been the carrot sticks. If you want an enjoyable meal with decent service, I would stay as far from this Buffalo Wild Wings as possible.

I don't see the hipe. This place sucks for wings, should change there name to chicken strips, cause that's about the only good thing here.

I'm definitely a fan. Being a city girl and coming home to the suburbs, I was skeptical to enjoy a place to watch sports. My friend who lives in NYC checked in and mentioned how much fun she had, so I wasn't expecting too much since we were in Gaithersburg. We made our way there, walked into the bar area and I was amazed at how many TVs there were, even in the dining are! How great! Plenty of TVs, the vibe is exciting (shame on me for going to a Cowboys game.... there is an uncanny number of Cowboys fans in MD). I thoroughly enjoyed my nachos. They were delicious. It was my favorite part of the meal. In the sampler, you get mozzarella sticks, wings, nachos, onion rings all for $12.99. Ridiculous. Miss living in the burbs. I had fun here!

  • Jeremy D.

Disorganized and rude. I called in my order 30 minutes and when I went to the counter I could see my order ready but the kid at the counter swore it wasn't mine. 25 minutes later and I'm still waiting for my order only for them to realize the ticket fell. Still after that the wings tasted like someone started mix the hot sauce on them accidentally and then went back to the Asian zing. Poor customer service. The one in Rockville is better

    (1)
  • Edna C.

The slowest bww ever. If you go there for lunch, budget 2 hours. Yes even when it is dead

    (1)
  • Janet H.

TVs everywhere!!! I love the slickness of the wings and when I come, I always come with two friends and share wings together, it's a lot more fun and the environment is cool and there's a bunch of people. Staff are most often friendly. They all great you at the door and seat you quickly.

    (4)
  • Eddie K.

They have a pretty good lunch menu and the food comes out pretty quick if you are in a rush. Their hot wing sauce is really hot- so I order medium sauce as this tastes like hot sauce to me. Service is slow at lunch- maybe because it's not that busy. The wings here are much larger then the one in their Rockville location. Like the Rockville location, they have the same food and drink specials. I haven't been here during evening but plan on coming back for late night eats/drinks.

  • Clive B.

This place was so good in the begging but now the quality is starting to decrease. I came in here with some friends last Saturday and the place was super busy. The manager and staff looked distracted and it took them forever to seat us. When we were finally seated the table didn't have any utencils or water cups and the the waiter looked so bothered when we brought it to her attention. I used to love coming here to chill with the boys but now we are probably going to look elsewhere, dissappointed...

asian zing! salt and vinegar fries, potato wedges! tried the jalapeno something and didn't like it. i think i'll just stick with my usual asian zing :) service was good... def go on a wed when they have the drumstick deal or tuesday wing night ;)

    (4)
  • Ms Q.

Okay so I ONLY come here for the Asian zing wings and that's it. Everything else is the worst. Service ha what's that ..smh. This go round our order got forgotten. How do you forget our order it was only 10 wings and fries ..smh. Okay then how do you forget I only want flats ...not that hard ...okay so how do you not ever check on your table. But walk right past and ask the next table how are they doing?? Whhhhaaattt. Smh. This is awful to the point I had to get the manager. Not one of a complainer but things on top of things is grounds to complain. Manager have a 25% discount but that doesn't solve the issue. Will I be back I don't know yet ...depends on how bad I want those wings and if I feel like taking the risk of bad service :(. Same server, second time

This Buffalo Wild Wings hurts my soul. My experience with BWW in general is usually pretty good. Great beer, junk food, lots of sports... but this one is the pits. The service is clueless and slow and the food is way greasier than the norm for a wings joint. We visited the Gaithersburg BWW this evening to eat and watch the World Cup. When we walked in, the greeter was fiddling with his cell phone and trying to unplug his charger from the wall. We were an afterthought. As we were walking back to the table, he almost smacked me twice while he was swinging said cell phone charger like he was trying to lasso something. We sat down and then waited over 25 minutes for someone - anyone - to come over to us. Finally, a waiter and waitress showed up at a our table and then gave each other the stink eye over who was going to wait on us. We ordered a beer and a pepsi and then waited another 15 minutes (at least) for the beer to come. 5 minutes later the Pepsi showed up. We ordered. We waited over an hour for our food. An hour for chicken wings, a philly cheese steak and some fried pickles. Our waitress (who was very sweet, but super untrained) came back to apologize and told us that the kitchen had dropped our food all over the floor and they were re-making it. What? Seriously? Who does that and then tells? I would have rather heard "The kitchen is backed up right now." When she asked if my boyfriend wanted another beer, he said, "I'll take whatever Heavy Seas you have on draft." She looked at him like he had 3 heads then started rambling off other beers and prices. He then ordered a Natty Boh. She had no idea what a Natty Boh was. At all. So he just ordered another Yuengling (which took another 10 minutes to come out) that came out with a suspicious looking orange slice put on the side of the glass. Maybe she thought it would make us happier? No idea... When we were getting ready to leave, she asked if we wanted a box for the fried pickles. When we said no, she actually chastised us for not wanting to take them home. If they would have come out when an appetizer is SUPPOSED to come out... we might have eaten more. We're never going back. This restaurant is in a prime location and has the ability to be a cash cow and an awesome neighborhood hang out. It's loud, it's slow and not worth the 2 hours and 35 minutes we spent sitting in it.

  • GurleGurl S.

Please do not drink their tap water. I'm not sure where the bottled water came from but it wasn't from the bartender. Lol The spinach artichoke chicken flatbread was mediocre. Enjoyed my company spent with my homegirl and watching the Heat win!!

Bad service and questionable food with a bug in it (would like to post a picture of it but the unprofessionalism I encountered there leaves me wary) and its not even like I sat outside. "Kinks to work out" is a definite understatement. I am going to keep this at a minimum because it was just so bad. Wings were ok, not that impressive when thats your establishment's name. I would rather go across the street to the other restaurant off of 117.. locals know what I am talking about. Servers all over the place and unfortunately it was not a good thing. It was clear they were not trained properly and by my experience with a "manager" there is no surprise when thats their example. I do not want to hear angry servers complaining in the dining area, I do not want to encounter unfriendly faces of employees... BAD BAD & NO NO It will a be a LONG time before I even consider giving a second chance. Also, if I did come back its just an appetizer kind of place -- the entrees not so memorable.

We went there to night. We got seated right away, got our drinks within 5 minutes and then it changed. No one came over to check on us. 1 hour passed I got up to find a manager. They came over with chips to apologize. At that point we were getting up to leave, the waiter brought our food. We asked to get it to go. The manager comp't our entire meal. When we got home and opened the boxes it was not what we ordered. Tonight was a very bad night for them. Normally we get good service.

Maybe that day was a busy day, the waiter forgot my drink & couple side orders, after we remind him 3 times, the cheese fries finally came, can you imagine the cheese fries hard and cold as a brick. At the time my drink finally came, we already finish our meal. Not going back again~

I've come back twice now since my previous not so great visit.. And since then things have gone well. It was probably just a one time thing where I waited very long. Regardless of service I love wings so I came back and gave them that second and third try.. I would still recommend not only Buffalo Wild Wings as a chain but this location to any friend looking for some good wings!

I LOVE BW3s and have been to locations all over VA and MD. This is by far the worst. The waitress was completely clueless about the size of the beers. Service was incredibly slow when they weren't busy. The food came out at all different times, and when we were ready to leave the waitress was nowhere to be found. Dirty tables all around us and staff who didn't really seem to be doing much. Two stars because the food was decent and the beer was cold (when we finally got it). Go to the Rockville location instead.

This place is always good because of the various deals! I like the boneless wings night but recently the chicken pieces are more breading then anything =/. I always get the veggie boat and blue cheese dressing. The sauces are always good, I like the dry rubs best. There are always specials on beers as well! It's definitely a great place to watch games and not worry about paying for parking (rockville town center) I like this one cause it's closer too me too! Asian zing, Garlic parmesan, and lemon pepper! CHEESE CURDS!!!!

Thursday evening moderate crowd. We were the invisible customers in corner of room. We had difficult placing order I could see the servers backside with no difficulty but face to face became a challenge. Service went downhill from there. The first time we became visible was when check arrived. Too bad food was ok and beer cold. Should have gone to Quincy's

This waiter Maya sucked! She wouldn't give any of her tables any attention...yes she took so long to give us food that I noticed what tables she was suppose to serve. The only table she would serve and help out was a group of her friends. My boyfriend had to keep asking other waiters to get our food, our drinks, and even our waiter.

This place is great. They have a great atmosphere, just about perfect TV placement & good energy especially if there are games on. The food is good with a big variety for all tastes. Very good beer slection. The servers are hit or miss. Prices are fair. Thursday night football is when I like to go, especially because of 60 cent wing night.

I usually love BWW. I go to the one in Rockville all the time. I WILL NOT be returning to this location though. The food was overcooked and our service was HORRIBLE. I could over look the horrible service if all the tables were packed but there were empty tables all around us. I left completely unsatisfied.

The carry-out service was absolutely terrible. They have the most incompetent staff I've seen. If there's a a manager there he/ she is useless. I never write reviews but had to after being on hold for 15 minutes. Ill never get carry-out from this place again.

I always like their wings. Pretty similar to the one at rockville. I usually go straight to the bar session. The service was fast than the table. Our server was so friendly, his name is carlos. This place might be my new hangout after work

Got the wings to go - service was fast and courteous. The wings were cooked perfectly and were very tasty. Generally I buy the frozen Tyson wings but for the same price I can get much better grade wings with blue and celery! I am putting BW on my regular stop list. Love!

Hate to say it because I'm glad they opened so close, I waited for years for BW3 to open near me, but this place has issues. There are tons of employees standing around, way more than they need, but they're just chatting with each other, not really taking care of customers. There are some nice kids working here but there's a lot of dead weight, too. I have to blame management. There were dirty tables long after the customers left. The food is fine, just as bad as it is in any other BW3, and the beer is cold with a good selection. Lot's of great TV's, great place ot watch sports, but service, blah. I hope they improve. Would love to see them stay.

Seating was quick and food came out fast, but that's all that I can say good about this place. They got my order wrong and never did fix it. It took over ten minutes for my wife to even get utensils. We asked three different wait staff (including our own waiter), all of which said they would get it right out...NOT! The waiter was very apologetic, as he should have been, but did absolutely nothing to correct the problems or encouraged us to come back. Very disappointing for our first and last visit.

First time When I came here, the meal came out before the wings. Which the wings was suppose to come out before the meal. The waiter recognized and apologized. So i didnt hold anything aginst him but he could of told them to make the wings before the meal. 2nd time I came I had good service. Employees asked me if I needed help so that was a good thing. This location is better than Rockville.

Oh my.... I've never been to BWW before, so a group of us went on the $.60 wing night, which as you can imagine was packed! I guess people go here for the atmosphere, and not the food. Our waiter came promptly, took our order and got it right... The wings came out in shifts - so not everyone had their food at the same time (I don't fault the waiter for this) so it was weird eating when others werent. The wings were OK, but the variety of sauces went from "lightly sprinkled on" to "took a swim in a sauce pool" and there was no consistancy. One person at our table who didnt like wings got a burger and they said it was one of the most disgusting burgers he ever had. Especially with a piece of that terrible fake cheese they serve in schools. (We LOVED the fries, however... that was a pretty unanimous decision) Now... lets talk about the environment. I have never in all of my life seen so many TVs in one place. It was like Mission Control in Houston. And it was way too much... The entire restaurant is one big dose of over stimulation. Not for me, but you may like that. It was an experience for my first (and last) time at BWW

When I took the first bite of food I can only describe my taste buds as little Japanese people scurrying around Hiroshima and the delicious food being the atomic bomb that would drop on them and explode with amazingness. Overall a great experience, i had the Asian Zing wings and the above describes them.

  • Erica R.

Great place to watch the game. The service was pretty good and food was just what I expected for BWW. The wait was ridiculous but also kind of expected for a Sunday game day at 4pm. Overall this was FAR better food wise and service wise than Greene turtle was. Also a lot more TV's.

  • Debbie K.

Its a chain, and nothing fantastic, but the food is decent and the patio is dog friendly, which we look for. I'd seen the reviews that complained about service and I've had that problem at other locations, but we were served by Ryan and he was awesome! We'll go again.

  • Cynthia L.

While I would love to say that this place was amazing, it just doesn't taste as good other wing places (will not name them here simply to avoid judgment). Their wings aren't bad, although can you really mess up on wings? My lemon pepper ones looked like the cook was watching the game: a sprinkle here and a douse there of pepper & bf's taco's had sour cream...yes, we asked for no sour cream. The waiter was super friendly and nice. Place was freezing so I just wanted to eat and leave. I might possibly revisit for the beer during happy hour with friends next time...Possibly.

The absolute worst! The service was bad, bad bad. They continually got our orders, especiaaly beer wrong and could not seem to figure it out. The manager advised us that there where somethings on the menu (like hot dog sliders) that would not recommend anyone trying. Never again for this place.

Clueless bartenders ask for a few limes i got it on a coaster. Talked to the manager he said bartenders are still on training. Really 2 mos just to poor a draft beer

....And I'm done with this place. About 6 times there in the last couple months, and the service still sucks. Manager walking around oblivious to the fact that his staff is standing around while the tables are waiting. Place should be a gold mine, bit instead will be out of business. Shame

  • Lynn M.

I ordered 50 wings, which were a special super bowl menu. They asked if we wanted carrots and celery to go with it, and the dressings. I was thinking it would be enough veggies and dressing for ten people. My husband picked them up and did not look in the bag. The wings came with five sticks of celery and carrots and a few of those tiny little containers of dressing, enough for one serving....really for 50 wings? I called them that night and spoke to a manager, who was rude and told me that's what you get with your order, if you wanted more you should have asked for it....really? They weren't even that good...my husband is from Buffalo and knows good wings, and these were not.

As Big J mentioned, this place still has some kinks to work out. I suspect that many of the servers are new to the restaurant business or came from fast food joints and don't have experience waiting tables. I suspect the kitchen staff is inexperienced too. 4 of us went for lunch - the place wasn't super busy, and it took over 30 minutes to get our order. All four orders came out wrong: missing S&V rub on fries, got ranch instead of blue cheese, no celery or carrots, got jalapenos on order when told to hold them. At least my traditional wings and fries were warm, but J's boneless wings looked like the sauce evaporated, iced tea looked and tasted like sludge. The server didn't no who ordered what, so we had to tell him. The server repeatedly said he was going to bring missing items and drink refills, but forgot repeatedly. Same thing with the credit cards - he had no idea who's bill was whose. The table next to us had a similar experience. I will go back because I love wings and it's close to the office, but I really hope they get their act together - and fast!

My boyfriend and I come here regularly for 60cent wing night. We always get boneless wings and we always enjoy them. I probably wouldnt wander to try their other food though, aside from fries, a pretty safe bet. Theres always the game you want to see on a tv near you, and you can also play buzztime trivia. Theres also always beer specials which I always take advantage of. We usually sit at the bar and service is very fast.

  • S. O.

The staff are great and the food is decently priced. For $23, you can get 15 wings and a basket of cheese fries and a soda. There's a variety of wing sauces you can choose from, both wet and dry and in different heat/spice levels. However, something in the food makes you thirsty as heck all night and into the morning..

Service was terrible and slow. Three of the beers on tap were out... On a Thursday?? Two of the bottle beers were out. Ordered wings can get better at BWB. The ultimate nachos were the WORST!!!! Spoke to the manager she was horrible, clueless, needs to go back to being a dishwasher. Won't go back, won't recommended it... Forget the kinks they just need to close forever.

First time I've been to any Buffalo Wild Wings. Went to meet some friends there, and had been wanting for awhile to try their "Blazin" wings that come with a warning. Read some reviews first, and saw that Fox news had mentioned the heat level of the wings in an article once. When they first opened they apparently had some kind of "challenge" where you could win a t-shirt. Too bad they don't have the challenge now because these wings, which are allegedly 200,000 to 300,000 scoville units, and are supposed to be kept away from pets and children were a complete joke. Wimp wings is what I call them. I ate ten at one sitting, and did not detect any heat beyond the "hot" wings you can get from Dominoes or Pizza Hut. I was glad I took my own hot sauce with me, because otherwise there would have been no heat whatsoever. I sent an e-mail asking why they advertise wings that come with a warning label and serve wings that a baby could eat, but all I got was some token BS response. The wings were not as advertised, that's all there is to it. Nothing there to intice me to return. Only 9 million other choices, and I can get wings that are at least respectably hot at BWB's or Wing Stop. I thought the service was average, but those with me thought it was a lot worse, and the evening ended with people blaming each other for the choice of location. Who picked this place, was the refrain. Keep it. If you're looking for hot wings, all this place offers is hype. Look elsewhere is my advice. There's a BWB's within about five miles with wings that are actually hot. It's a good location, hopefully the place won't last and they can put a real wing joint or something else there. One and done for me.

Tonight is the 4th time I have been here..I stopped by for a corporate HH and we were seated on the patio. Our waitress spent WAY too much time talking to her friends than waiting on us. In the beginning there were 3 of us and we ordered a sampler to share. A server brought our food (presentation was nice) and I asked for set ups. They never appeared. I went inside and had to ask for set ups and plates. Approx 25 min later I finished my beer and waited for the waitress to stop talking to her friends to sop by to see if we needed anything. She never materialized at our table even though she was approx 8 feet away. After she walked back inside I finally went to the service bar and asked to order a beer and gave my name. After what seemed like an eternity but really only about 8 minutes, I went BACK to the service bar and again asked for a beer, and the waitress standing there said... "she didn't bring it to you yet?" "NO".. I said, and I went outside. Our waitress came to our table and asked if anyone wanted anything and I stated that I went to the bar and ordered my beer and it should be waiting there. The others at the table ordered drinks so she brought all of the out together. Fast forward to 8 people at our table. All ordering food and drinks.. at NO time did she EVER ask me if I wanted anything else to eat or anything else to drink. Approx 2.5 hrs later... after 2 beers, and 1/4 of an appetizer, I was still hungry. I left a $20 on the table for my friends to pay my portion of the tab. PS. The 3rd time I went my beer was so warm I only had 1/2 of it and left. The 2nd time I left I went with some servers from another local establishment, and the service was ok. The 1st time I went and sat at the bar was ok- but the beer wasn't as cold as it could be. I will save the $50.00 BWW gift card in my wallet for the next time I go to the BWW in Urbana. .

This place is HORRIBLE! I have ordered food to go twice now. The service is horrible. It is a bunch of kids running around calling themselves servers. There isn't a manager in sight. The way these servers speak is disgusting, especially when customers are standing there. One girl was talking about that her underwear is too tight. YUCK! The all huddle around the hostess stand and go about their business. The lack of professionalism is mind boggling.

We went here for lunch less than a week after the grand opening, so I was expecting the service to still be in training mode and maybe a little rusty. Waited a little long for our food (about 30 mins) but it was very good and servers are very nice. Husband got a burger and I got 6 medium wings & 6 mango habanero wings which were killer. mango habanero is seriously one of the best sauces there but it is not for the weak of heart I'll just say! 4 stars for the food. As for the atmosphere/seating area, it's not my cup of tea but this is how all BW3s are so I can't fault them for that. If you LOVE sports and a loud distracting atmosphere this is the place to go. I think I'll just get takeout next time or go when it's warm out to eat outside.. 72 TVs seems like overkill to me honestly and takes away from the overall experience if you're just going to get food and don't care about sports. I'm surprised no one had a seizure there's seriously so much going on. I feel like they could have designed it better by having a "bar" section with all the TVs and noise going on and then maybe a more secluded quiet section for families and they might bring in more diverse of a crowd.

Even though there was a 45 min wait I am giving 5 stars for great customer service from a manager. My boyfriend and I ordered wings that were just way to spicy, I gave up after 1 wing, he's eyes were watering by his third. Manager walked up to see if everything was okay and when i told him it was way to spicy he let us pick new flavors and brought them right out. He said next time we can even taste the sauces before ordering, which our waiter didnt tell us-- he kind of sucked to be honest but we didnt care as the food was real good at the end of the day. Anyways the wings were delish, better then wing stop. The fries SUCKED, wing stop fries are 10 times better. I dont think I will get the fries here again and will try something else. However, the soft pretzels were so good. I will be back for sure.

The place is a great sports bar kind of place. Ok to take kids, since there are sections away from bar. The service is good, but food is just ok in my opinion.

Worse service at this location, chilled glass I asked for came later after I received my beer. To make things worse, the staff turned off nfl network with the start of a game to put on a repeat NASCAR race from the week prior!!! I asked for them to change to put the nfl game on any of their tv's they replied they don't have the channel that was just on. All I can say is stay away!!!!

I'm giving zero stars. First, I ordered a margarita on the rocks with no salt. I got a frozen margarita. Then I ordered the Buffalito wraps and asked for no sour cream. They came with sour cream but the waiter did ask if I wanted him to take them back but I was so hungry, I just scraped off as much as I could. The third strike was someone stole my wallet right out of my purse. The management was extremely uninterested. By the time I got home, over $1000 was charged to my account and I had to spend 2-1/2 hours at DMV to get a new license. Just want to warn others who eat there to keep your purses, etc. very close. I'll stick with Dogfish

Family of 5, we wont go back. Poorly managed hostess booth with good-hearted attempts at trying to seat people, but extremely busy sat night and staff seemed unable or under trained for big crowds. Wait staff is good, just could use some common training in hospitality and communication. The interior of the eating area SUCKED. It was the WORST I have ever been in and I am 47 years old and have worked in restaurants all my life. There are WALL to WALL TV's and all are on sports and turned up as loud as possible with a heavy bass woofer in the walls. The TVs were on cage fighting, blood everywhere and people getting the crap beat out of them, not what we want for the kids to see at dinner, but the single scene seemed to enjoy it. Not really a family place....Food was fine, but how do you ruin chicken wings? They were good, nothing special, nothing bad. Just plain old chix wings. However we ordered them mild and they were still too hot for the 7 and 10 year old. Service was slow, kitchen was slow and slammed. Drinks were good.
