I ordered Philly Steak Sub (8") for delivery. Food is average. Very typical sub taste. Bread is a little bit dry. Delivery time is good, about 45 minutes.

Ordered take out. First time here. I ordered the spicy Cajun wings with a salad. I received regular spicy Buffalo wings instead. With the wings I ordered the Ranch dressing instead of Blue cheese and when food was delivered, I received nothing. Wings and salad were all standard. Considering it was the first time, I would consider ordering again.

    Great local pizza place!

So I was looking on yelp to find good subs in my area and of course this place came highly recommended! I am going to have to agree with other reviews. So far, I've only had the steak and cheese and a slice of cheese pizza. Both were surprisingly good. The sub was flavorful and not too over greasy. The slice of pizza was loaded with cheese and a generous slice for 1.75. The fries are cook a bit too much for me but the portion size is a again generous. It seems that they make everything to order so you will wait at least 20 minutes for your food so plan ahead and enjoy!

Great prices and great pizza. It is something about the cheese! Ordered and pizza was ready in about 15 minutes. I keep coming back for more.

I had an eggplant parm sandwich, yuck! It was soggy, oily, had a smear of sauce...just awful! My husbands sub had little taste, he didnt like the bread.

Love their pizza (and I'm not a pizza lover) and LOVE-LOVE their "Krazy Fries" which are french fries covered in 2 kinds of melted cheese and then bacon. My wife loves their subs. This place is the local pizza place we've always wanted to live near.

Great pizza! Rarely order pizza out - this is almost as good as homemade. Fast and friendly staff, too.

Great local pizza place, we ordered two ex large one topping pizza's. (one with extra cheese & the other with pepperoni) Both were terrific however next time I want to try out their vegetable pizza.

Great service, quick delivery, yet horrible pizza! We ordered a large meat lovers with black olives and Krazy fries. The pizza was soggy due to the grease and the crust was pretty much non-existent. The pizza lacked flavor and reminded us of something one could prepare at home using frozen dough. The Krazy fries weren't too tasty either because the fries were soggy. Overall, we were confused and disappointed at how fries could be botched. They might just have too many items on their menu causing them to spread themselves thin by being the jacks of all trades, but master of none. In fairness, the two stars are for the decent customer service while ordering via phone and the swift delivery service. We'll pass next time and drive our lazy butts to Ledo's or one of the other decent chain pizza spots.

Venice is OK. We always order ahead & pick it up. It's always ready on time & the crust is thinner with lots of cheese, which we prefer. They have great anchovies & they're generous with them. Like I said - Venice is a solid choice. They always have deals too. Just ask.

It was completely AVERAGE pizza place in Elkridge near Green Valley and all the gas stations (Hess, Exxon, Shell). It's almost like they strive to be average. The sign is nondescript. They sit right next to a Dunkin Donuts. And they have all the typical pizza, subs, fries. That's all I have to say about it. Not bad, not great. A good, thin-crusted slide of pepperoni pizza for $2.50.

Average on most every level. Delivery on Fri & Sat is dismal. Took over an hour to get my pizza last week. I had to call to make sure they hadn't forgotten about me. And no apology from the delivery guy at all. Just handed it to me and took off. The quality of the food is completely average in my opinion. I've tried several pizzas a few different subs and the wings.

Finally gave Venice a go after living in delivery range for the past 4 years. On their newest menu, they have either their best or most popular menu items highlighted. For a first try, that made it easy to get a sense of their food. I ordered the Krazy Fries, Tiramisu White (I'm admittedly a white pizza snob), and buffalo cheesesteak. First off, credit where credit is due, the krazy fries were legit, with a capital K. The rest of the meal kind of went downhill from there though. The tiramisu white could be summed up with two of its ingredients: the spicy banana peppers that dominated the palette and honestly just felt out of place, and the bland dollops of ricotta that were terrible in taste and texture, and had no synergy with the rest of the pizza, which was bland and typical. The buffalo cheesesteak basically tasted like a soggy mess of buffalo and bleu cheese sauce - not very good. Given the countless other pizza+subs options available in the area, I'm gonna take a pass on giving Venice another go.

This was exactly as expected and what it needed to be... I ordered online using yelp and they had my order ready when I got there 5 mins early - got a pepp pizza and krazy fries, both were excellent.

The pizza is delicious but don't try to use grubhub here. They will deliver a full hour or more late. If you call and ask why, the manager will argue with you.

I wish there were a way to rate half stars, I feel it should get a sliver more than 4. With last nights insane storm shutting down the power to most everywhere my husband and I decided to stay at the Sheraton tonight. For lunch I was really craving something similar to Filippos, which is our favorite local Italian joint to get delivery from in Patterson Park. So naturally I got on Yelp and decided to try this place out. We ordered a large pie, half mushroom and pepperoni, half grilled chicken and olive and a side order of chicken tenders with fries. The pizza is really great here, I think I actually prefer it over Filippos! Just a little bit, but it's that tasty. It's cooked in a way that the toppings are part of the pie, rather than extras plopped on. The mushrooms were nice and cooked rather than what typically happens where they are still wet and only slightly warmed, sitting on top of the cheese. By the way, the cheese is delightfully stretchy and not very greasy, even has nice toasty browned spots. My husband really enjoyed the pizza, and after how much he talks about missing his usual fare in Italy, that always means something. (that does not mean this pizza is similar to Italian style pizzas, which it's not, it's just good enough for him to enjoy it after being used to eating non-American pies) I don't know what they do to the fries, if it's the potato they use or maybe the seasoning or what but they are GOOD. Chicken tenders were your regular run of the mill chicken tenders, yummy and juicy white chicken breast meat. Came with a tasty, assuming homemade, BBQ sauce. If we lived near here I'd probably end up picking up from them frequently.

I was a little leery of trying Venice Pizza because you never know what you're going to get with a new pizza joint/sub shop. But given the serious lack of quality food that we have available for delivery and the recommendation from a friend, I decided to try it. We ordered subs the first time and they were better than any other options we have. We have since tried many other things and the pizza is great too. I think the only thing we haven't liked was the boneless wings. It is now our go-to place for delivery. One thing though, they take forever to bring your food so I would go pick it up if you are really hungry.

This place is a hole in the wall that looks like it belongs in downtown Bmore! #1 clue that the food is good. I ended up here one afternoon after working a 12 hour shift and waiting for the cable guy at my guy's new apartment (that has an empty fridge) for 5 hours. So I stumble into Venice Pizza and mumble to the cashier that I want a steak and cheese with everything on it and an order of fries extra crispy, oh, and add a pepsi... The guy taking my order goes "just get the lunch combo" and points to the extrra large sign posted on the wall. "Ok, cool, gimme that" I say. So, I wait, and I wait, and I wait some more as other patrons file in and out to pick up their call ahead take out orders (good idea). 15 minutes later he points to me "your food is ready"... No prob Bob (definitely not the carry out from good ole DC that I'm used to where everything takes "fie minut"). I get home and the heavenly aroma of my steak n cheese hits my nose and I knew it would be great! My fries were nice and crispy and seasoned like Checker's fries, the steak was nice and juicy with no gristle! It was great! I was very happy with my lunch! Hopefully I can curb my cravings...
