You want the best indicator of how good the food is going to be at a bar food type joint then sample the ranch dressing. Normally how the ranch goes the food follows behind and SGP very well may have the best ranch ive ever had. Their chicken tenders which are basically like eating bonless fried chicken are amazing and the best option when considering what you will be putting in the ranch. The tenders are not breaded and flat like at many places. They are really crispy and super delicious. The pizza is simply outrageous and the best non NY/North Jersey pizza I have had. I would actually say it's as good but it's so different. Shaped like a Sicilian pie but with a much thinner crust. It goes really well with about a hundred pitchers of beer. I won't pretend to know a whole lot about the rest of the menu as the items I have mentioned are essentially all I ever get. Though I will say don't sleep on the crab dip, its excellent in its own right. The SGP walks like your typical chain restaurant, talks like your typical chain restaurant but definitely doesn't taste like a typical chain restaurant. Think some of the best bar food you will ever have.

Great local and travel stop spot. Located next to the Best Western we stopped in for dinner before driving into BWI airport. Friendly wait staff, Katlynn, made us feel right at home. Special of the night was fish and chips. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. No store bought fish sticks here. Three hearty filets. steak fries, and yummy cole slaw. Would like to drop In again and check out some of their specials. Highly recommended.

I normally don't like restaurants associated with hotels, but this one was a nice surprise. Great pub food, great beers, amazing desserts.

I work right up the street from Stained Glass Pub. Obviously, this was the first factor in my decision to visit this restaurant. We all know that proximity isn't always the best excuse to eat out, but this isn't the reason I return so often. While the look may be similar, Stained Glass offers so much more than any chain "Bar and Grille." I do have to admit, this review is a bit biased. The reason? Stained Glass is a University of Florida Alumni Bar, and I am a Gator. They show every game, even pay-per-view. Not only that, but the pub offers half priced pizza on Mondays AND Tuesdays. The only thing that I love as much as the Gators, and my family, is pizza. Seriously. I have a problem. I get nauseous and start to itch when it's been a while between slices. Stained Glass serves up rectangular pies in the style of Ledo Pizza. It stands to reason as this is the second location for Stained Glass. The first was in College Park, also the birthplace of Ledo. SGP is the ONLY place I ever look forward to ordering a pizza with pineapple. I usually don't think that particular sweet and savory mixture works well together, but the crust and sauce at SGP are sweeter than Ledo and most pizza parlors. This is the only reason it works. I highly suggest a pineapple and bacon pie when you visit. Trust me, you'll love it. If you're not in the mood for pizza, Stained Glass offers up classic pub fare. If you're looking for something a bit unique, try the Pretzel Turkey. It's essentially a turkey club served on a pretzel roll. It's a great combo and despite the fact that I've seen it on a gas station Blimpie menu since, it's still worth it. Wash it down with a drink from their full bar.

I go here often with a customer friend of mine simply because it's close to his office. I always get a salad and it's always satisfactory. I'd recommend it for lunch, but I'm not sure if come here if it wasn't out of convenience.

Great place for happy hour. First timer and it won't be my last. Came here with a few co-workers and I'm glad I did. happy hour from 3-7pm which is good because I get off late. Excellent choices in happy hour food which are all $5!!!! #winning you can choose from mozzarella stick, spinach dip ( the bread for dipping was SOO good and soft I may add) chicken Quesada's, also the burger sliders we're so good you will be full! Also they had $6 orange crunches yum! It was very crowded for a Friday night couldn't so I suggest getting there early luckily my co-workers who got there early got a table for us. We had a few people with us and the waiter was ok with separate checks and got everyone's correct which is always a plus, she was very nice as well and came and check on us from time to time to make sure we didn't need anything we we're never without drinks. Also by checking in I received an additional 10% off my check so that was another plus! :0 I was very happy about that.

Food was nothing to right home about, edible but I would never recommend this place for the food. Comfortable seating and the staff was pleasant though not exactly over attentive. I had to ask twice to have the O's game put on a TV I could see. On the plus side they were happy to let us sit there after we were finished eating and watch the rest of the game. (The O's won!)

I used to eat at the original Stained Glass Pub in Wheaton years ago, so I gave this place a try. It was big and crowded inside; a friendly local sports bar (lots of screens) and "family restaurant" next to a Best Western hotel. This is not an upscale place if you're looking for something more downtown Columbia. Dress is very casual: t-shirts, jeans, and hoodies mostly. It's not a dive, either. Clean, comfortable, and yes, there's stained glass here and there. The menu is pretty typical sports bar fare, but that's not a bad thing. About ten appetizers with the usual nachos, wings, shrimp, spinach/artichoke dip, plus a really good "asian sampler" app with ahi tuna, vegetable dumplings and bacon wrapped chili shrimp. Six or seven salads that you can add beef, chicken or seafood to, and three soups. Lots of burgers, even more sandwiches, pizza, and a selection of entrees. Ten or more decent beers on tap-- they don't brew their own and don't charge you that price. There's a little stain on the glass, though. A beer took 20 minutes to hit the table. Appetizer took 20 minutes from order, My big, juicy burger arrived after 45 minutes, and they brought it a dry well done instead of medium rare. The server said the kitchen was having a tough night. I will go back, probably on a week night, to see how things go. I like local bars like this and want to see them succeed.

My fiancé and I decided to try this pub 2 Sundays ago on 01/05/2014. We walked in and saw the "Sunday Night Football. Seat yourself" sign. The bar was full so we took a table. After that we sat for 20 minutes and watched as waiters and waitresses walked back and forth past our table without asking if we needed anything. Needless to say we were never served and finally got up and left. I wish I could give -5 stars!

I've only been to the bar at this location, and really only had the pizza. It's spot on every time I go. Their services is what really makes this place shine for me. The bartenders have always made an effort to small talk with everyone at the bar and always help out with recommendations when asked.

This is the best local place in the arundel mills area. Great food. Awesome service. Tv's galore! Don't miss a sports event and do not spend to much! Come to stained glass pub!

Stained Glass Pub never disappoints. The pizza is always consistent and better then ledo. I started at the Silver Spring location back in 2007 on monday for half price pizza, when i lived in that area. The bartender that opened this location remembered me 7 years later at this location. I had not had a pizza from them in that length of time too but i soon started to make it a ritual. Bartenders are super friendly and personable. They get a lot of traffic from the hotel and I have met a lot of cool people that just stop in for a pint during there stay. If you are in the area check them out.

Nice local bar. Came in from out of town and this was a nice respite to grab a beverage, some wings and and watch a game. Nothing really special stands out compared to the typical sports bar, but nothing bad either. Bartenders were really friendly and fast with the food!

This is my fav place.... ever. I live in Elkridge so it's super close and always a good option. The menu has a wide variety of choices, from pizza to pastas to burgers and regular bar food. Monday's and Tuesday's are half off pizza night! It's so good. Just go there.

Ate here once for lunch on the Monday after Thanksgiving in December with coworkers. Usually I'm not in the Hanover area where my office is at lunch time, but it was slow for my work because we were just getting back into the swing of things. One of the guys from the office thanked me for my hard work during the week of thanksgiving on his sites in Montgomery Co. As for the service, the server was friendly. I got a chili pasta dish, which was huge, and it was good. I saved some for dinner on that Wednesday, which I could get away with since it was cold outside, and I was hitting the road after lunch for a site I needed to go to in the afternoon. I also came here in March for an after work happy hour, which was great. The bartender was friendly and the drinks were solid.

My family frequents this place quite often but last night may have been our last visit. We went in for my mother and wife's birthday, to have a nice celebratory meal. Right away I could tell our server seemed weeded, with too many tables. She tried her best the whole night but seemed to be too busy. It took 20 plus minutes for us to get some wings and nachos. Equally as long to get our drinks from the bar. Since the apps took so long, my mother cancelled her entree due to the delay and fearing the apps and entrees would all come out at the same time. Our entrees were delivered individually by the food runner, which seemed odd but leant more insight to the lack of management that night. Our server brought us out some ice cream to help say she was sorry but we knew it wasn't her fault. I would have figured a manager would have at least stopped by the table but we didn't even see anyone out of the floor Get it together guys!

What a great spot. So are so glad to finally find a place down the street from our new house. The food is delicious -- Crab pretzel and pizza. They have good specials the only criticism is for a Pregnant woman the bathroom is a hike , down two flights of stairs... very strange! The staff could make a little more effort to be friendly.

So this place is close to my work and I've eaten there before. It's not horrible. Mediocre is a good way to put it. Your standard bar food. What I take issue with is the service. BTW, I had the quesadilla and chocolate brownie for dessert. Brownie was pretty good. Taco Bell does a better quesadilla. I've got a 2 month old and had met my DH and some coworkers for a happy hour. Yes, I brought a baby in a carseat into a bar. (You've got to start sometime.) It wasn't busy. So, like everywhere else, we grab a high chair, flip it over, plop down the kid and enjoy our time. My DH was standing behind it, kind of boxing it in and I had my leg against it. It wasn't going anywhere. A manager (we assume) comes in for her shift, sees this set up, and proceeds to tell us that it's against the law to set the carseat up on the high chair like that. And she'd be happy to get us a table. I ask for the sling things that most places have. They don't have them. We end up putting him on the floor in the corner. We were later informed that it's not against the law but a requirement of their insurance or something like that. So, here's my gripe, if you aren't going to let me use the high chair like that, then either have the flat back high chairs that are safer or have the slings. It's not that difficult. And a little less holier than thou attitude would go a long way.

I absolutely loved this place! Fun atmosphere with lots of bar and restaurant seating, lots of TVs for watching your game of choice, delicious food, and some of the best bartenders I've ever had! The bartenders are friendly, personable, and very attentive. The pizza and Irish nachos are fantastic. Great spot for happy hour, dinner, lunch, or Sunday football!

DONT GET TO-GO OR TAKE AWAY!! They're the WORST at putting together an order. I'm at home for the second time without the sauces that are listed on the menu and my food order wrong (requested something to not be on the food but it is). The sauce may seem like something small but why offer it, why question if I want one or the other if you're just going to ignore it?? Never ordering to go again.

Sitting next to a hotel, this place is kind of tucked back off the street, so if you're not REALLY looking, you'll pass it up....GPS doesn't do a very good job of getting you there. Once there, parking was a NIGHTMARE. And this was on a Wednesday, not a weekend. I had to park around on the other side of the hotel and walk around. And I'm not really sure why parking was so crazy, because it really wasn't that busy once I got inside....weird. Inside, I was seated immediately, and my server, Stephen, was quick to get me my half-price bottle of wine (every Weds!), and checked back on me frequently while I was waiting for my friend. In the background, I was able to hear some nice acoustic music, although I couldn't see the performer from where I was sitting. They did appear to have a nice bar, although I didn't go near it. My friend and I opted for pizza, and I will say that it was very good, although they didn't do a very good job of cutting it. Their pizza is a rectangle, cut into squares, but they didn't bother to cut all the way through the crust, so we had to use our knives and pull, which ended up as a cheesy mess. But at least it was a very tasty cheesy mess. Overall, I had a very good experience here, and Stephen is an awesome server.....very friendly and attentive, and made some great recommendations. Should I find myself back in the area, I could see myself stopping back in.

Food was about average, prices adequate for the plates. Not the best, not the worst but worth a visit especially if you're at the hotel next door!

I don't really visit pubs often, so I may not have the best perspective on pub quality food and ambiance. But, compared to pubs that I have been too, this one is pretty quite nice looking. I went during lunch, and the dining is fairly open, airy and clean with a lot of light. I got a simple ordered a burger with fries. The burger was big (I think 1/2 lb uncooked) and it was cooked the way I asked for. The burger roll could have been a little more substantial to match the patty though. Overall, a good burger. The fries were a little strange .... they seem like bigger versions of the old Burger King fries (the ones with the outside coating that seems a little unnatural). They tasted OK, but were a little strange and also the amount of fries was lacking. Service was good ... the waitress was attentive and came by periodically to make sure we were doing well. Overall a good experience. Not sure I would come back on my own will, but would certainly not mind coming if someone suggested to meet here.

I give the food 3 stars: overpriced and not impressive. The crab soup and quesadillas are pretty good. I give service 2 stars: I usually come here for happy hour with my friends after work on Fridays. The male bartenders are friendly and fun but the female there has an attitude problem. There was one occasion where she was very rude to my table and we all left in a bad mood. This place is a good time for happy hour but not the best for a sit down dinner.

Frank is an awesome waiter! Sat outside with some friends and ordered a bunch of appetizers to share. I got the grapefruit crush which is freshly squeezed, yum! So refreshing. We all ordered a side salad with the zinfandel wine dressing, to share: the white pizza, crab dip and pomegranate wings. The zinfandel wine dressing was ahhhmaaazing. I need that recipe (and it was low fat!) The white pizza was delish, one of my favorite pizzas. The crab dip was so creamy but not gravy like how it can be sometimes, really good! I was a little nervous about the pomegranate wings but they were delish! They were just wings with the pomegranate sauce but it was surprisingly good, glad I tried them. We sat outside on a beautiful sunny, spring day and it was great. I'll be back.

The Irish nachos rock. Most appetizers are good and their thin crust pizza is nice. They have a good selection of beer and cider. Service can be sporadic. It rather depends on who you get. Great server and thus a good experience. Don't bother with their burgers though, dry and flavorless patty that tastes frozen. Their fish and chips special is usually good, but can be greasy if the kitchen isn't paying attention.

Look if I want to watch soccer and the bar is practically empty, don't give me your snobby closed-minded opinion about the sport and just turn it on for me please. Also, your beer was flat.

We had talked to the manager and set up a wedding after party in which the Pub was supposed to stay open an hour later for us. They didn't, but at least they were prepared to honor our brunch coupons for the next morning... The food wasn't too bad, but the service was laughable. We watched wrong order after wrong order come out to our table, which was a party of 8. We were very specific with our orders, nothing too crazy, but the wait staff must have been as hungover as we were... I've had good service here before, but I would steer clear of the brunch.

Good happy hour location. Delicious pizza. Good bar food, even their late night menu. Make sure you ask them about their "late night menu", because the first time I called, the lady that answered said "sorry, our kitchen's already closed for dinner".

Had happy hour here for work and was pleasantly surprised ... for a bar in a hotel parking lot, it's not that bad! They seem to try pretty hard to draw a crowd with daily specials and live music. We had a coupon for pizza and ordered "everything but anchovies and onions" on it without any trouble, although it was probably enough to feed an army. The Irish nachos are DELICIOUS, would definitely recommend those and will get them again if/when I go. Live music was decent. It was 1/2 price bottles of wine night and one of my coworkers had 1 glass of hers and the rest of the bottle was wrapped up "to go" ... pretty awesome.

I was staying at the Best Western next door and sitting next to my hotel, this place is kind of tucked back off the street, so if you're not REALLY looking, you'll pass it up. I had a table on the small deck and for entre I had the stuff shrimp which were very good. Overall, I had a very good experience here, and Joshua was a good server.....very friendly and attentive, and busy. If you are the BWI region area stop by.

Ordered takeout tonight from this place. It's a family style sports bar/pub. Seemed like everyone stared at me when I walked in to pick up my food. I liked that they didn't charge per topping on the pizza like most places, they let you put whatever you want. The pizza is pretty good. Kind of a thin crust and cut into squares. The cheese was good and sauce too. The green peppers tasted fresh. Overall it's not the best or something I am dying to get again but it was good. The buffalo wings were below average. Just greasy and not much meat. This place may be good to go watch a game and the pizza is probably the best part.

You don't get much more attentive, responsive or customer-service oriented than Lauren and the crew at Stained Glass Pub. We hosted a reception on a Saturday afternoon. The space was perfect, with places for people to stand or sit. The food was plentiful, hot and replenished as needed. The service was great. Super job to everyone at Stained Glass Pub.

I recently found the Stained Glass pub and really like it. The service was good and the food was awesome. The breakdown: Irish nachos: fried potatoes w/ cheese, bacon & green onions were amazing. I'm not sure what cheese they used but it was very tasty. Steak & Cheese sub: aka a cheese steak was good but what was better than the sandwich were the best crispy fries. Btw: the meal comes w/ chips but for some amount you can sub the fries. Pub Club: Bacon, Turkey, Ham & Cheese oh my!! Although this wasn't my meal, I couldn't help but snag a bite. Its really good and I could see that being the best sandwich on the menu. 2nd visit breakdown--- Chicken quesadilla : yum! not smashed down w/ tomatoes Patty Melt: Okay so I said the pub club was the best thing but the patty melt was delicious. The 1/2 lb burger was cooked perfectly to medium well and the toasted rye bread just made everything alot better. So after two great dinners & two awesome servers (eek! i'm bad with names), I'll be back.

This place is really good. I have loved everything I've ever gotten here. Servers and bartenders are usually friendly and on top of their game. The irish fries (I think that's what they're called) are amazing! Only downsides are parking and there never seems to be a hostess up at the front when we come in. We have waited and waited and waited for someone to seat us on multiple occasions. But overall, good place.

Interesting cross between a hotel bar, a neighborhood bar, and a after-work hangout place. When we checked in at the Best Western next door, we didn't want to order pizza so we tried the Stained Glass. It was packed and as my wife and I watched, it was obvious that most of the people worked nearby and had stopped off to cut loose for the weekend. The wait staff was obviously overwhelmed but trying their best to get everyone taken care of. And the food is definitely a cut above what you would expect for a hotel restaurant. Saturday, after a long day on the Washington Mall, we stopped by and the whole ambiance was different. Much quieter and more people who were there from the hotel to grab a quick bite and head back to their rooms. We had the Irish Nachos (thumbs way up!) and stayed to play the quiz games on the television. Stopped by on Monday for a dessert and the ambiance had changed again. The wait staff seemed to know everyone who was there and were constantly taking time to engage patrons in conversations. For a hotel restaurant/bar, you could do a heck of a lot worse.

My family is hard to please. Vegetarians, allergies, toddlers, teenagers, and healthy dieters. Finding a place to eat that works for all is complicated. We ended up here based on the large menu and atmosphere. I ordered the crab cakes, which was a mistake. It was average at best. The potatoes were in edible but the veggies were good. The pizza was well received. My toddler was drowned out by the tv's and other guests. It worked and our server was friendly. I don't see myself coming back regularly. It's just not my kind of place.

This is our local pub, so we go there more frequently because it's close. They do very good business, it's often hard to find a parking spot and a seat at the bar. They have a good selection of beers on tap and the staff are very friendly. They have a good selection of appetizers and the pizza is my personal fave. There's not a whole lot of vegetarian options. They do have a veggie sub. It's not on the menu anymore, but still in their system. If you go early enough to get a seat, it'd be a good place to watch football. We personally enjoy going to play Keno.

Been here once for dinner and twice for drinks and late-night food. They had a homemade blueberry pie in the summer that was surprisingly good. My wife loved it and raved about it to everyone. We started coming here lately on Sunday evenings after our volleyball league since teams get beer pitcher specials. You have to sign your team up for it and be in uniform. The late-night menu is pretty standard but good: chicken wings, chicken strips and fries, cheesy crab pretzels, and crab dip with bread. It's located next to a Best Western. Good place to come watch some sports on TV. The parking lot is tiny though so that's my only real complaint. No restrooms on the main level; you have to walk downstairs where there is also an ATM.

So it's late at night and I'm done playing poker and want little more than to leave the confines of the huge complex of the casino known as Maryland Live. It's a great place but I had been playing for 12 hours. So I ventured back toward my nearby motel. Where to eat at 11PM on a Saturday night that doesn't remind me of "work"? I bumped around from closing to closed establishments and finally, on advice of one such place, found this place. Yay! It was open. The varied menu was a treat -- as I was expecting chicken tenders, fries, and soup or something none-too fun. Instead, I had a great "black and blue" burger -- about 1/2 pound of what tasted like relatively high grade chopped mean served with blue cheese and a healthy (or should I say "unhealthy") portion of fries. All washed down with some delicious 101 Wild Turkey and water. Yum. Watched the NCAA playoffs as well on the nearby screen. Good service, not rushed, and stayed until about midnight. I probably wouldn't make a special trip during normal business hours to eat here -- but for a late night spot, it was just what I needed.

I'd like to second Brittany below... Frank IS an awesome server. He was speedy, knowledgeable, attentive, and just was pleasant overall. He was training another young lady while we visited and seemed to multitask well with showing her the ropes and tending to our group. I would return based on our experience with him. The restaurant interior and menu reminded me of one of my old faves Bennigan's. The crab dip pretzel was great and the nachos appetizer was also good, while the Santa Fe wings seemed to be missing something I just can't put my finger on. I liked the $5 brunch orange and grapefruit crushes although typically I've had them with crushed ice at other places which was lacking here and made my drink more similar to a screwdriver. The brunch menu is also not very extensive so that was disappointing but the lunch and appetizer fare gave plenty of options to distract me. My seafood club was not bad, but was the same $22 price as the much bigger one from Miss Shirleys that comes on a signature bread while SGP's came on dry skimpy white toast. The shrimp salad here also was decent but does not hold a candle to the more flavorful shrimp salad from Miss Shirleys and the sandwich was lacking lettuce, tomato, and fresh avocado I missed from Shirley...which I would not cite if Shirley's club and this one didn't share the same price. For this reason I felt a little slighted by the sandwich :/ The turkey sandwich on a pretzel roll would have been better if the pretzel roll was not so hard and crunchy and if the turkey was oven roasted and not lunchmeat style. Hubs liked his stuffed shrimp entree but mentioned there was too much filler in the crab imperial. I was pretty ticked to learn I could not try a mimosa because they had run out of champagne the afternoon before. I was confused as to why if 24 hours had elapsed, management had not replenished the supply rather than getting my heart set on $5 mimosas and letting me down :( As it was my birthday, Frank came to the rescue with a complimentary brownie sundae and his own birthday song for me. Based on his awesome service and the solid appetizers, I would return if I was in the area.

I'd seen a few Valpak coupons for this place so I decided to give it a try on a recent Friday night. I suddenly remembered this was THE Stained Glass Pub I grew up passing on Layhill Road. It was always a litlle divey looking so I don't know if I ever even ate there. But I will never forget the name. Well, this place looks a little better because it's tucked in a corner right across from a motel. Gives off more of a friendly neighborhood family joint vibe. However, when I stepped through the double doors, I could see it was all sports bar. A-ok with me! There was a 30 minute wait, so this place is pretty popular with the HoCo locals. If I didn't have a minor with me, I would've grabbed a table in the bar area. The server was great and let us look over the extensive menu for a bit. They do it all from greasy bar food, to pizza, to Chicken Marsala. We decided on wings and pizza. It was not bad, but not the best either. I really didn't like they brought out the pan with a dirty rag. I get it's hot but please don't leave that on the table! YUCK! That really turned my stomach. Anyhow, the baby boy loved it. My wings were too deep fried. I'd try another appetizer the next time. And next time, I'll go with some friends for the bar experience.

Not bad at all!! 3.5 actually.... if i had that option. (Tho our server Sue is a 5 star for sure). We got the margherita pizza (sp?). Lots mozzarella cheese!! yum!! The thin crust was ok. Not the greatest I've tasted, but still pretty good. I also had the seafood gumbo. I've only ever had gumbo once before and it was A-mazing... so I can't in good conscience, give this one a 5. BUT it was still pretty good! 4 or 5 jumbo shrimp, and chicken and beef and sausage = yum! It was a little too salty for my taste, but it's over a bed of rice so that definitely help bring it down a notch. The atmosphere is... it's a sports bar! whaddya expect. Loud and lively and a little crowded. But it wouldn't be a sports bar if it wasn't the way it was. Our server, Sue, was very attentive and most definitely deserves a 5 star. Always made sure we were ok without being overbearing. =) Yay SGP! you are A-OK!

This is the place to go when you want to avoid the parking fights and long walks at Anne Arundel Mall. Just a mile away and hidden away so always room for you and your party. This is an Irish themed bar with some good Irish plates but they have just about everything to include pizza and sandwiches on pretzel rolls. I've been here several times and the service at the bar is always good. They have multiple TV's up around the bar area with usually just baseball on. I don't think I've ever seen them put a basketball game on. The one down side is probably going to be the shapre of the bar. It's kinda like a jagged "L" and if you sit at one end of the bar, you can't people at the other end. So if you want to be social and meet people, you have to sit in the very center of the bar. Definitely worth checking out.

Nice evening with Michelle and Becky. started with a couple of appetizers to share, the the Asian Sampler and the Spinach and Artichoke Dip. the dip was served piping hot with fresh tortilla chips. the dip itself was good once it cooled a bit. the sampler was a bit uneven, the tempura shrimp was nicely done, Margi enjoyed the pot stickers and the bone i had with the entire meal was the seared tuna was awfully cold to be just seared, the accompanying mustard was fantastic. Michelle and Becky shared a pizza, looked good and they raved about it. Margi got a shrimp wrap, again a thumbs up. i got the gumbo which for the most part was excellent with the exception of peas in it, substituting okra would have made it superior. good company, decent draft beer selection. good company, good food, good grog, a good evening!

We came for the wings, came back for the pizza and will be back for the beer. It seems to be a great little neighborhood pub where they run all of their beers on nitrogen. That means smaller bubbles and that means creamy smooth beers regardless of who brewed them. While interogating the evening manager, we also learned they never freeze their proteins -- food much better that we expected when we discovered there was a Best Western in their parking lot! Oh, and the wife insists that the Ranch Dressing "ROCKS!"

I've read positive reviews about this place so I gave them several chances by coming back and ordering something else. Visit #1: crab dip - was mostly cream cheese and I don't think there was any crab in it at all. Total disappointment. Server was friendly but rarely seen. Visit #2: place was very crowded. We were sat at what appeared to be the only empty table. After a few minutes I understood why. The air vent was blasting freezing cold air right at us. As soon as a closeby table opened up we moved ourselves. Couldn't complain to the server, he wasn't seen for about 20 min. And I couldn't take the cold anymore. I ordered the crab cake and it was one of the best I ever had. I was about 3/4 done when I discovered underneath it was a long blond hair!!!! Certainly wasnt mine, I'm a brunette! When my server FINALLY showed up again I let him know. He apologized profusely and said he would remove it from our check and send the manager out. Oh, on top of this, my first drink was made incorrectly. I asked for coconut rum (Malibu) and coke. I was given rum and coke. I was very specific telling the server what I wanted. Instead of bringing me a new correct drink, he left to ask the bartender what he gave me and they insisted it was coconut rum. Whatever. I just drank it. What seemed like an hour later, since service was so slow, I had a second drink, and it was the correct drink. I guess they think they're slick? Anyhow, by the time our bill came, we still hadn't seen a manager and he did not take my meal off. He was lucky I wasn't in a bad mood. I really tried to keep my cool. I tweeted a photo of the hair to the restaurant and I still to this day never heard from SGP. Visit #3: (why do I come back? My husband likes their wings) I ordered the artichoke and spinach dip. It was gross and inedible. I have a photo of it I'd love to share. Disgusting. Had the same server at visit #2 and he was just as inattentive as ever.

Very disappointed at my lunch choice. 3 of us stopped by from the office and got two good meals. I chose a daily special: grilled cheese with chicken and bacon on sourdough. Sounded good. First impression- there was a round buttery grease "spot" in the middle of the (stale) bread slice that soaked in enough to cause the bread to fall apart at the center. The butter was not spread evenly, it was obviously a melon scoop size dollop placed on it and then grilled long enough to melt but not toast, and of course it did not melt to the edges, so the middle was over-greased. I'm not done. I don't complain lightly. Ready for this? The bacon was between raw and rare. It had been warmed, not cooked. I removed it. The chicken was good, but now covered in bacon grease. Never going back.

Good food. Friendly atmosphere, plenty of TVS to watch your sport of choice.... Good beer selection. Downside: understaffed. or staff are undertrained? Getting service is not easy. A little loud for me, but in the arena of sports bars, really not bad at all (I could stand to be in there, which is the bar for me).

Was staying at the Best Western next door and too lazy to drive elsewhere. Mistake! Well, two mistakes. Sportsbar, so it was loud über-slow service. Had hamburger. Good. Onion rings good. Fries, battered kind. Yuck. Average food -- kinda pricey. Beer: hard to mess up Yuengling! Second night, went with friends; better wait staff, but... They messed up the orders. Had a pizza because the ones others had night before were good. Friend ordered hers with light saucek I had normal. Guess what they did... Yep -- my pizza was unedible. Never again. I should of went to Outback or TGI Fridays... Next time I will drive. And really, sports bars are overdone -- too loud, so you can't hear (what's the point in watching?) And they won't turn on captions. This was worse, they had CNN on and as it was right after Japanese tsunami... Guess what was on -- mmmmm, I sure wanna watch bodies, suffering and disaster as I dine.

My fiancé and I enjoy coming here for a last minute meal it is close to our house so we are able to catch the game and it's not too crowded. Food is ok, it's simple bar food I enjoy the cream of crab soup. Have not had there crab cake in a while but from what I remember it was good. We actually might do our rehearsal dinner here for our spring wedding.

It's ok, usually a bit over crowded. Not a really warm atmosphere, but it's ok. I would agree that it convenient if you're staying at the Best Western, but as an Elkridge local, it's probably one of the few ok places to visit. Friends and I were disappointed that the music isn't great and that there isn't karaoke as advertised. I'd also like to add that as I was staying at the Best Western for a friend's wedding on June 26th and we were getting dressed there, I was disappointed that the restaurant and hotel didn't work together to coordinate something refreshing for all 100 of us. I would have been nice to order a meal, or tray of food, or drinks for all of us.

Were invited to meet friends here. Seems there is a Trivia Tuesday at the pub and they frequent it often. Short a few players because of summer vacation we thought it would be fun to give it a try. We did have a good time and actually came in second place. It was quite organized and the people we were with knew the whole procedure. Each round the questions increased in value with a half time list for extra points and a final question like Final Jeopardy where you could risk it all. The categories were scattered....from sports, to cartoons, to politics so it was good to have the diverse group we had. You can have up to 6. It started at 8 and ended around 10. We enjoyed ourselves. The bar is quite large extending almost the whole back of the room. Service was not good. We waited along with another person for a bartender to place an order as we were early, and never did get a beer or have anyone come to see what we wanted. The restaurant tables are all seated in small areas separate from each other arranged out from the bar which is the main focus. A little too boxy for me! The stain glass was a nice touch. During the game we drank some drafts which were reasonably priced at $3.25, At happy hour they are half off. ..but the pizzas were high off all night. We ordered a mushroom pizza and it was ok. It came in a large rectangular pan blopped on our table. The large pizza was enough to feed three of us with some slices left over. The crust was thin and was very tasty. It reminded me of Ledo's pizza. It was around $17 and I was jubilant it was half price. Not worth full price. The bar was crowded. It was noisy and lots of tvs on playing sports. Don't know why but the O;s game was not on. Guess cause the Nats were on and we are close to the Washington area. But we asked our waiter and he came by after asking for the second time and changed it for us. I dont know if they are understaffed or what but we were constantly looking for our waiter. Asking another waitress to find him or yell as he went by. We had to ask for everything. They never checked on us to see if we needed another beer or more water or whatever. This was fun but it is probably a one shot deal here. If we did go again it would be Trivia night with friends and the half price pizza. I would not go there to eat dinner as there are too many other choices around in this area of much better eateries. But for a restaurant across the parking lot from a Best Western it is not bad.

I went here to have a glass (that ended up being 2) of wine when I got stuck in the BWI area for a night due to a delayed flight out of boston in which I missed my connection. I am basing this on a 10ish pm visit to the bar only. Didn't have any food so can't judge on that. It was fairly quiet. The couple of bartenders that were working seemed to know the "locals" visiting the bar. So I stood out in my tired worn out worked an 8 hour day had a holiday lunch floor party where I ate to much and drank to much at the airport before I boarded my very late plan kind of tired look. Bartender that waited on me tried to make some conversation, was friendly but picked up that I was tired and just trying to de-stress so ended up leaving me alone. If I ever get stuck at BWI again I would stay at the hotel next door and go here again for sure.

The pizza here can't be beat, especially for a weary traveler staying at the Best Western next door. The staff is friendly but inattentive, and the atmosphere is like a typical, moderate-size chain restaurant: think Houlihan's but with great pizza.

Service was pleasant and outdoor eating area was very nice. Three cheese pizza, however, left a lot to be desired. It was hot, but loaded with flavorless cheese and the tomatoes and basil were almost non-existent. It was very greasy for a pizza that should have been somewhat fresh tasting. Luke not recommend but not sure of the rest of the menu.

I went there for happy hour on a Friday night. Good crowd. Busy, but not too packed. Great happy hour prices on food an drinks. The food was great! This place is bumping for happy hour with the business crowd. Sat down at a table and ordered the pomegranate wings, crab dip, and Irish nachos. Wings were average in terms of meatiness and flavor. Nachos were decent -- potato slices with bacon and cheese with sour cream on the side. The presentation is lacking, but they tasted good enough. The crab dip was the highlight of the meal. Nicely cooked and meaty, but could have used more flavor. The waitress seemed indifferent in regards to service. She would check in on us, but while ordering additional items, she would have one step towards moving on to something else..rushing the whole experience. It was troubling that she seemed bothered/annoyed when we presented her with a Yelp 10% off check-in coupon. Overall the place has mediocre pub food and questionable service. The only way I would go back is if I just wanted to grab a few drinks -- otherwise it just isn't worth it. 2.5 stars.

The Stained Glass Pub is directly next to our hotel, the Best Western Plus. SUPER friendly bartenders!!! Typical pub with typical drinks and food options. I was not impressed by the food to say the least I had the Cajun wings I was looking for something spicy and they were definitely lacking any kind of punch maybe I just went on a bad day they were super small. Came here for late night pizza and was slightly disappointed. Although it was a nice facility and the service was good, I was not impressed with the pizza. Sort of tasteless, and kind of feels like you're chewing on cardboard. On the upside, the wings were alright, so it wasn't a complete disappointment. All in all, just an average sports bar/restaurant, nothing special to say about it. Word of caution, don't get the pizza!

I've only been to the bar at this location, and really only had the pizza. It's spot on every time I go. Their services is what really makes this place shine for me. The bartenders have always made an effort to small talk with everyone at the bar and always help out with recommendations when asked.
