Grilled cheese is always the classic comfort food. The tomato soup is too chunky for my taste but also very delicious. There are few vegetarian options.

Great grilled cheese sandwiches. Limited menu, but good fast casual eatery.

I had the crab patty melt and sweet potato fries. The sandwich was pretty good, but really messy to eat. Have 4-5 napkins on hand for the melt. The sweet potato fries are also good. Friendly staff, and clean restaurant.

Way too strong of flavor on crabby patty melt and Blu ox, soup was ok, all three way too salty.

I love this place friendly people and good service. I did not realize how many ways you could make a grill cheese sandwich. I'll defiantly be coming here again.

Ok, so this is just grilled cheese, but it's good. The sandwiches are tasty, and the sweet potato fries are fantastic. In my opinion, the stores I've been too are somewhat small, and must've been made for takeout orders. The one in Catonsville is packed every time I've been there. The staff is friendly, and calling in the order ahead of time or using the website for ordering makes it very easy. The company took something simple and made it great. The only reason for only giving 4 stars is that $9-$10 for a grilled cheese and fries is a little high. I still make it a point to go a couple times a month, and look forward to the new sandwich ideas. I haven't disliked anything that I've tried this far.

We ordered 2 Cesar salads, 1 grilled cheese w/roast vegetables, 1 sweet potato fries & 3 drinks. The total was approximately $28. The sandwich was done very well, with a couple different cheeses & the vegetables were interesting - I think there was a piece of zucchini in there. The salads were fairly large: all lettuce & with some nice shaved cheese. The basket of sweet potato fries were yummy - not too greasy. The drinks are serve yourself sodas and teas. The atmosphere is what you'd find at an upscale subway some other type of place Overall: The food itself was good, not amazing, & way over-priced. $7.00 for a lonely grilled cheese seems excessive. $3.50 for the fries? Over-priced.

I've been meaning to go to the Grilled Cheese & Co in Catonsville since it opened (over a year ago) but never got around to it. I knew they were opening one in Eldersburg and today I finally got around to trying it, yay! We got the crabby melt, because anytime I can basically just eat crab dip as a meal counts a win to me (which was was huge, and messy, and required using about 12 napkins) as well as the kickin' BBQ chicken. We also got the regular and sweet potato fries. Everything was really good and they were all giant portions. I'd definitely come back! There's like 5 more sandwich combos I want to try...

I love this place!! Great service and always great food!!! The price is a little high but its so convenient for us and so quick that the overall out weighs the price.

Excellent customer service. We waited about 10 minutes for our food, and one of the employees came over to apologize that they had slightly burned our sandwiches. She gave us new sandwiches PLUS the burnt ones PLUS two cards to get free sandwiches the next time we came. When I say burnt, I mean that just the edges were dark, but the manager told us that "that's not the quality we stand for". We were very, very impressed. The food is pricey, but in very generous portions. I got the Crabby Melt which was scrummmmptious, and my fiance got a chicken parm one that really exceeded our expectations as well. The only negative thing I can say is that I really didn't care for the brocolli soup. Otherwise, our experience was great. Hoping to hire these guys to cater a casual wedding in the fall.

Stopped by here today after spending the morning over at Hoppers. My two year old was impressed by the fries, but then again what two year old isn't. The place was clean and the staff was quiet. I had the BCT, which was pretty good. Big sandwich, so I didn't eat any fries. They have high chairs available and crayons/paper/computer for kids. Pretty quiet around noon.

Way overpriced! The service was very courteous and the food was tasty but its not worth the price of a steak and lobster dinner. Tried it and I'm done.

It wasn't bad, but probably not a place we will return to. Our main concern would be value. For my family of four: a grilled cheese with vegetables ($7) and a side of shoestring fries ($2.50), a grilled cheese with pesto, etc. ($8) and a side of sweet potato fries ($3.50), two kids meals with half-sandwich, apple sauce and drink ($10), and one fountain soda ($2). In other words, with tax, 34 bucks for grilled cheese sandwiches and fries! Maybe this business model will work, but jeez, shouldn't the sandwiches come with at least chips? My wife thought her vegetable sandwich was just OK. My pesto one was good - but oily and heavy. The kids' sandwiches were like the ones we make at home. The shoestring fries were thin and tasteless, and none of us liked the sweet potato fries, which didn't taste like sweet potatoes at all and were too peppery. A huge turn off: The cashier had a hacking cough. She kept coughing into her hands and seemed to have no problem with handing you cups for soda. Even if the teenager wasn't aware of sanitary conditions, shouldn't the manager on duty have been concerned about this. She coughed...the...whole...time....we....were....there!

I have a hard time giving a star rating to this place. I really enjoyed the food. My sandwich was excellent. You could tell the ingredients were fresh. However the prices are just really high. My sandwich, just my sandwich, no chips, fries or drink was $7. It cost us $28 to feed me, my husband and our 2 year old. I think that is outrageous for a quick, casual grilled cheese restaurant. I would go back in a heartbeat if they lowered prices or added a side or drink for that price. But for 28 I can get a lot more food elsewhere in the area.

My meal was so, so yummy! I had a coupon for this place, and who doesn't love grilled cheese? I got the BCT which is grilled sour dough bread with cheddar cheese, diced bacon and tomato. The sandwich, which was a very generous size, remained hot with stretchy,, not messy cheddar for a good long time. I savored every bite. The huge stack of shoe string fries arrived piping hot . In all honestly, two people could have split this between themselves. But, I had skipped lunch and was starving. . . I savored every single bite. Oh, the handspun chocolate shake I lingered over was thick and perfectly blended and ever so satisfying. Needless to say, I was completely content the rest of the night. Well, the next day after work, while pulling into my driveway, I found myself craving this meal from the night before. :( Since Laurel is a good distance from Sykesville, I can only hope . . . Yes, a bit pricey, but worth it when you want some comfort food served in a no thrills little nitch. (Think an uncrowded Ben's Chile Bowl with clean tables and a sparkling country themed bathroom.)

Fries were very good. The service was good. The bacon/tomato cheese sandwich was rather bland. The main problem was the price. Almost $12 for a cheese sandwich, fries, and a soda. I could make the same thing at home for $3.
