Sue's deli is the best place for breakfast that I know! Ms Sue is so nice and friendly. If your in a rush or just want some good food this is the place to go! A little expensive but quick!

I drive by this place often and it seems to be busy for breakfast, especially with the construction crew crowd. Lunch is not as busy but still a fair number of work trucks come and go. I decided to swing by one day for some lunch to go. Not the cleanest of restaurants but not bad enough for me to turn around and leave. The women working there (can I safely assume that is Sue?) does everything. The problem is that she will do everything without gloves or washing up in between. I also noticed that it seemed to be a low level of dirtiness that appeared to always be present. Not filth or grime, just in the corners and the harder to get to areas. The food was OK but nothing to write home about (or should I say rave about on Yelp). The atmosphere was that of a sub shop but not much more. I will probably not give it a second shot.

This place is just down the street from me and I never go there. Why? The sandwiches aren't bad , but the prices are outrageous! Sorry, just can't do it .

I really want to support the local businesses in Edgewater but I just don't get the 5 star reviews of this place, unless they are friends and or family members of the owners. For a so called "hole in the wall", the prices here are incredibly high and the quality of the food dismally poor. We had breakfast here once, and ordered one of their morning sammies to go. I didn't even take another bite. It was just several ingredients slapped on bland bread. For lunch the burger and chicken pita were forgettable. Again, there was no care or forethought taken with these items. The pita, which I think was $8 bucks was dry, heavy on lettuce and little else. The expensive burger was not good. Everything is a la carte, so if you want a quick meal prepare to pay about $10 - $12 bucks for a sandwich, chips and a drink. Just crazy. My dog could make me a better meal.

Pedestrian chow. Stratospheric prices. Two omlettes and two juices....$22!

Passed by this place for years but finally stopped to try them because of good yelp reviews. Friendly service but way overpriced. Had a tuna melt on pita for $7+tax and a New Yorker (corned beef and pastrami on rye) for $7+tax. Very pricey considering there was not much to the tiny sandwiches and they came with nothing - no drink, no fries, not even a bag of chips. Another $2.30 for an iced tea. Tried to get a side of fries but was told they don't make them on Sundays. WTH? Decent food but wasn't worth it and won't be back.
