If I could this place would get NO STARS but I have to give them at least one. The wife and I will never eat here again. We decided to eat here after traveling for a couple of hours. First of all the restaurant had only a half a dozen tables filled, not busy by anybody's standards. The wait staff took forever to bring drinks, food and even the check. Let's talk about the food. The salad bar was not even touched, we saw a lady wipe her nose then go in for the salad. I got my flue shot, but I really don't want to test it out. Then came our pretzel burger. Looked good at first, until an hour later when my wife and I both had to fight for the bathroom. Slow service, food made us sick.....eat here at your own risk. The server was a nice lady but I don't think I need to go to church for a long time. Every sentence ended with "bless your heart". I think it was sweet but the staff should be sensitive to the fact that some people are not religious and this innocent comment might be offensive.

Nice, all American interior. Efficient service. Great Salad Bar! Satisfying quality steak cooked with perfect seasoning of salt and pepper. Excellent onion rings! Very reasonable price! Ruby Tuesday is nice!

Full disclosure - personally, I'm not a huge fan of this kind of corporate chain restaurant but will concede that we have had satisfactory meals here in the past. For me, the salad bar has always been the attraction since it has a nice variety of fresh veggies, everything is chilled, topped off, and maintained well; otherwise the food here is unremarkable and average. There is something weird about the precise consistency that never varies, leaving me convinced that the mashed potatoes are made from powdered mix. This last time we visited (dinner, party of 3,) failed to meet our modest expectations. First of all, I don't expect a suit and tie, but our 'host' would not have passed even McDonald's dress code with his hip-hop sagging pants and sour attitude to match. Otherwise the service - which can be hit or miss - was good. It was a warm day in late spring so we were dressed accordingly, but the air conditioning was so cold as to make dining uncomfortable. It's ridiculous to have to carry warm clothing in the summer because some businesses set their AC to 'arctic'. To top off the meal, there seemed to be a theme to the music - a grating mix of 1978 disco-funk that was played at an obnoxiously loud volume. I was waiting for a disco globe to start and the floor to light up. Management hint: it should be background music, not Studio 54. All things considered, we were glad to get our check and leave. Not planning a return visit anytime soon.

Stopped in today for a salad; I found the the reatraunt kind of dirt and the bathroom was foul.

Been here dozens of times but this is the first time in my life that I gave a 25 cent tip. I know! I was a waitress for many years and have always ALWAYS been a great tipper! First the waitress said the bar was backed up and that's why it took so long to get our drinks. She should have known that we were staring at the bar and that we would figure that was untrue? Then the steaks we order were cooked incorrectly. Not too big of a deal since their steaks are excellent anyway.. Then waitress didn't take the appetizer plates and empty glasses off the table. Never asked us if everything was alright. When dinner was bought out by someone else and I ordered my second drink and still didn't get it within 15 minutes I flagged down the server and she said and I quote "Yes I know I'll get it in a minute". The worst thing is that she referred to my self and the gentleman with me by "dear" and "darling" about 30 times. I paid for the dinner with my business credit card and she again made the assumption to refer to us as Mr. and Mrs. my name! How embarrassing for my dinner mate!!! I'm wondering if they have fired all the experienced staff and hired new and no one with any sense is doing the training. My tip to her was 25 cents and a nice note referring to the poor service, the improperly cooked steaks and the dears and darlings. It was done to me a million years ago and I made sure to never never make any of the same mistakes and was tipped very generously for my commitment to my job as waitress after that. I only hope that this waitress will learn a valuable lesson from my tip and review.

We've been here dozens of times..mostly because they have an awsome salad bar and the food is ALWAYS fresh whether from the salad bar or brought to the table. The waiters and waitresses are almost always perfectly attentive, focused and personable. We do enjoy other restaurants in town, but this one is always consistent, fresh and as the sign says, 'Good Fresh American Food'~ Atmosphere is soothing to the eye and the music that plays as you dine is for everyone and at the perfect level. Each visit is consistent with the next and the prices are very very reasonable.
