The pizzas at this Ledos is very bad the dough tastes like flower and even when you ask for it well done it still comes out nasty. The Ledos in Prince Frederick is fabulous the dough never tastes like flower and they brown up the pizza perfectly.

Good food, good service, but in the back area a group of waitresses sat and talked for a lot of the time

The only reason this place deserves even 1 star is because of the yummy pizza sauce. However, everything else is HORRIBLE! Terrible service- evidenced by servers (plural) that ignore you and make you feel like you are putting them out by asking for a refill. The pizza crust was so thin it was like eating melted cheese and sauce off of tracing paper. And the toilets are right in the middle of the dining area! Oh, and plan to spend at least 20 minutes trying to get your check. I am a MD native and have been eating at Ledo Pizza joints for 20+ years and this one is by far the worst I have encountered.

I got one of there new flat bread pizzas and a salad. Way to much grease and salt. I could feel my blood pressure rising as I ate it. The other annoying thing was chasing off the flies in the dining room.

Overall wildly variable, but lately, I've been enjoying my time when I visit here. The last 3 visits (all within the last 6 months) have been quite enjoyable. Service has been solid. Note, we generally go on weekday nights. Pizza is the Ledo standard squares on trays, sweet sauce and an almost pastry-style crust. If you get pepperoni, it is thick cut, mildy spicy and very oily. Veggie pizza is pretty tasty to me, and less greasy. Depending on your preference it's heavenly or horrid. They have been through a number of evolutions in menu, staff and clientele. As of this writing, it is clean, well-staffed and a pleasant experience.

I have been here at least 5 times...Never impressed. Slow service, incompetent staff..Soft gooey pizza crust..Salads consist mainly of Chunky iceberg lettuce. Even picking up Carryout orders not recommended. The staff in back throwing bread and playing around...bet they packed it in someone's oder!!Love other Ledo locations...This one in dire need of better management. Sad because they're so closeby!!

This is the WORST Ledo's EVER!!! The service slow and horrible. The pizza crust is doughy and undercooked. We ordered a well done pizza and it was so undercooked. Ugh. The kids spaghetti came out flooded in water. I mentioned it to the server and manager and neither offered to fix it. The manger did absolutely nothing about it the pizza either. Would not recommend and NEVER eat here again. Will be contacting corporate ASAP! This place gives Ledos a bad name. Never again! The only reason I'm even leaving one star is because my son loved the wings.

Excellent pizza - most of the time. Occasionally it slips when very busy, which is almost every weekend night. One Friday it was exceptional, the next Friday we ordered the same pizza and it was just OK. This is a recurring theme. We order take-out pizza from here several times a month, as the dine-in service is terrible. The take-out service is so-so; the girls at the counter are inefficient and often unfamiliar with their own menu. They are in dire need of adult supervision and mentorship.

Great service and made our order fast even though we ordered pickup in store. Will definitely be returning to this Ledo's again. Unfortunately they have some bad reviews but they have the best thin crust pizza around.

I like Ledos pizza but this Ledos sucks . The dough is under cooked and the sauce is salty. This is the 2nd or 3rd try at this Ledo's and it will be my last.

The "Maryland crab soup" was basically vegetable soup with old bay... what little crab existed in the cup was eraser shavings. It was a disgrace to any Marylander! My chicken and artichoke salad sandwich was extremely mediocre. My mom's "south street cheesesteak" looked and tasted like they dumped a packet of velveeta cheese sauce on top... gross. And their pizza was nothing special - paper thin and greasy as always. Only the pepperoni made it bearable enough to finish. We didn't even bother to help my brother finish his plain cheese pizza. Safe to say we won't be going back.

when I was young I didn't like Ledo's because of all the grease. now, if I'm burned out on Mama Lucia's pie, I'll grab one from here. Good stuff.

Ledos pizza is great, the problem is the restaurant. The waitress was grumpy, said she saw our pizza go in the oven, and then after waiting a half hour she brought the wrong pizza. We said we'd eat it bc we were starving and had been there 45 mins, but she said no and took the food away from us. We asked for the check and she charged us for our side salads she should have comped us. This place is horrible.

It was gross! We sat near the bar, the bartender ate her dinner while behind the bar. Everyone could see her eating. Then we constantly smelled cigarette smoke from somewhere in the back. We talked to other patrons that smelled it too. Loss of appetite. They changed the menu and increased prices with no seafood offered on salads. Desserts weren't even on the menu. The chicken chop salad was horrible. Looked like it came out of a can and it was too pickled down tasting. They used iceberg lettuce under the glob of watered down chicken. The waitress didn't know what soups or desserts were available. Service was extremely slow despite it not being crowded. Maybe the chef was eating dinner too instead of cooking. My BF ordered pizza - very greasy. Note: most orders do not come with fries and they tack on extra charges. If you order certain menu items, you get fries only if you don't order the SUB on a sub roll. What a rip off! I WONT be back.

Unlike most of the other reviews, I actually like Ledos. In fact, it may actually be my pizza of choice. I've dined in and taken out at this location and have never had any major complaints. Only once did I have a server who was not 100% focused and that was because her out of town family was dining next to us and she was more interested in catching up than waiting on my table. I like the Buffalo Chicken pizza and the chicken parm entree is also good. I usually get breadsticks when I dine in with a group and they tend to be inconsistent. Sometimes they are soft and brushed with butter, sometimes they are hard and dry. So while I do enjoy the Dunkirk location (which is so much better than the location in Upper Marlboro which has become a true embarrassment,) there are a few things that loses some stars. First, the price is getting really expensive for pizza. I know the large pizza is larger than other places, and they tend to be generous with toppings, but it's not so big as to add the premium price. A large cheese is listed at $14. A large ledo deluxe is listed at $24.50. Considering the dough, sauce and cheese are the same on both, the question becomes do you get an additional $10.50 worth of toppings on the deluxe? The answer is no. And really, almost $25 for a pizza? That price can buy you a better meal at the Chesapeake Grille or a lot more pizza from a different pizza place. In fact, those other places who will give you a better deal will even deliver the pizza to your front door. The layout of the restaurant is also a problem. When eating in, the restroom is in the center of the dining area. This allows for any unplesant smells to greet you at your table while eating. Speaking of unpleasant smells, the cleaner they use to wipe down the tables is horrendous. In the winter, wear your coat as the cold air rushes in from the front door and keeps every area chilly. So while the food is good, other factors have me going to Ledo's less often than I used to.

I've been a big fan of Ledo's Pizza for a very long time, almost since it started up in the area. And from someone who has eaten Ledo's Pizza for over 20-30 years, i can honestly tell you it has dropped from my favorite pizza place to just ok. The reason is that to save costs over the years Ledo's has changed their pizza dough into the cheaper "biscuit" dough used by many food places (pizza hut, etc) to save costs. Its more biscuit dough than pizza dough. Any pizza lover knows the difference instantly. Pizza dough is crispy, tasty, smoky, while biscuit dough is pasty, dry, thicker, powdery. Now, other than the dough, Ledo's in Dunkirk is in a mall area basically in common-town. "Casual" comes to mind. I wouldn't recommend eating there but just dropping in for pickup. You eat in restaurants that are enjoyable, clean, friendly, with a little class. Its like eating in McDonald's. Why eat in a McDonald's when you can just eat more comfortable at home or in your car and not have to deal with the casual persons about. Ledo's toppings are fine, usually they cut their pizza into squares and they try and base their toppings on the squares. 1 piece of pepperoni per square, if you order similiar toppings they do it the same. I have to say of the mass of pizza chains about, I prefer Domino's currently since they vamped their Pizza Crust. Ledo's is going to have to do the same thing and go back to the real Pizza dough of the past before i frequent the chain regularly as I used to do. But at least they still aren't as bad as the big fail Pizza Hut. If you live in the area and want basic pizza, Ledo's fits the bill just as well as any other if your bored with your regular pizza restaurant.

The pizza was greasy and flimsy. The restaurant was noisy and crowded. Even the take out line had little semblance of order. Take out beats eat-in, but I'd stick with Domino's.

The food is usually good....sometimes on the salad they skimp and only give me two pieces of the flatbread instead of three but it's less carbs so how can I argue that? LOL. I think it's hilarious that if you order double pepperoni on a pizza they put a piece of pepperoni on each slice and then lay another one on top of the one that is there. You can't get it spread out on the pizza. I have a feeling if I ordered triple pepperoni they would come stacked three high on each piece. No doubt. The service is definitely the issue here. When you wait in line for takeout you WAIT. They are not in a hurry. I get exactly a half hour for lunch and it takes me the whole time to go pick it up and come back to my desk with it. I'm less than 5 minutes away and sometimes they make me late. That's just crazy. I call the order in ahead of time. I don't go there often for that reason but the food is good. The caprese salad is awesome.

Craving that familiar, square (because they don't cut corners..har-har!), greasily-sweet pizza that every single Ledo's makes? Order take out and spare yourself the local underbelly of a suburban-sideshow that takes place inside the Dunkirk Ledo's. Cramped, loud, and just kind of gross. I only went because a certain kid in the kitchen asked me to stop by. I love local stuff...but this was just too much of a "pigs-at-the-trough-family-style-feeding-frenzy" for me. Between the three little punks banging on the bathroom door that was too close to the table for their buddy to "get the f*ck out here!", to the long-armpit haired guy in the wifebeater complaining a bit loudly, that his "f*cking pizza ain't the way I like it!" (I'm sorry sir, when did Ledo's ever say "Have It Your Way"?), to the waitress also invoking the f-bomb...again a little too close to me...while trying to coax the register to help her with subtraction...well, it was a close quartered, f*cking disaster. And don't bother with salad. Just stick to the pizza, calzones, and mozzarella sticks. They're safe and predictable. If you absolutely MUST dine inside a Ledo's, I'd suggest the Chesapeake Beach location. It's older, shabbier, but has the old-fashioned pizza dive feel. *on a side note, despite the chaos the diners created, my waitress was very cheerful and nice. And she didn't drop one single f-bomb.

I eat at Ledo's a lot. Probably because there aren't a lot of choices in Dunkirk. The menu gets kind of boring, but I do enjoy the chicken and broccoli pizza and the stromboli. Your experience depends a lot upon your server. Some are significantly better than others. Friday nights are kind of crazy. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean, more than you can say for a lot of other places in Cal co. Much better than the location in Prince Frederick.
