Apparently a Popeye's Deluxe! It's got a nice work island where you can plug in (see photo.) Food was fine and the cashier told me about a special so I got an extra piece for less $$ (thank you!) minus the side biscuits that I don't need anyhow. And there's a TV at moderate volume with closed captions on, thoughtful. Definitely better than average for the Pope Yes LOL.

Ok if you know about the chicken then you know it's GD bangin bird. Best in Fast food class hands down. But the service at this location has been horrendous for years. You could use the drive-thru and find yourself forgotten about waiting for your order in a parking space, half a dozen people at once waiting for the staff to bring out your bird...and they would never come.. You would literally have to walk in to get it, it was comical and annoying all at once. But it seems like someone is paying attention now, running under new management this place is all about customer service now. for now..

I don't know how this Popeyes is still in business after all of these years at this location. Nothing has changed. The only good thing about this store is the food...which seems to be limited every visit I have. Also, they have WAY TOO MANY kids working there. It's always such slow service and this place is pretty dirty.

Haven't been to this Popeyes in years, but I decided to try again. I love the chicken but not at this location. Burned and dry is not the norm for Popeyes but it appears it is for the Merritt Blvd store. The service is incredibly slow and you will find that you have to repeat things several times. This is the only Popeyes I have ever had issues with. Maybe some day they will get it right.

Good Food, dirty restaurant. So dirty, that I don't trust the food. It may taste good, but what's the hair count? The people working here have be consistently rude and unpleasant. They do not even try to be. This is what Chick-fil-A looks like in a Yin and Yan mirror.

The chicken is great, but the customer service is horrendous. Every time I go, the drive through wait time is at least ten minutes. They can never understand what you're saying in the drive through speaker and you have to repeat yourself constantly. Once you actually get to the window, things get even worse. The last time I was there, after sitting at the window for 5 minutes, I saw the employee come over with a large cup of Cajun rice. She looks at it and after a minute asks another employee to get some more. The employee asks her why, if she already had some packaged. She then says that the Cajun rice in her hand is bad and she can't serve it. She had the drive through window open the entire time so I got to see her contemplate giving me bad rice before asking another employee to get some more. I can't even say that maybe they were having a bad night, because stuff like this happens every time I go. Why do I keep going, you may ask? Well I did say the chicken was great didn't I?
