Their garlic park wings are a bit greasy, kinda made my chest hurt.. But the Dijon chicken wrap was delicious! I love this place.

They changed owners and the food sucks...if I could give negative stars I would they need to work on something cause the food was like garbage

When thinking about this place I think about that kitchen confidential episode where the chef wants to order the fattiest most unhealthy things from Anthony's restaurant because his doctor said he will die soon due to a heart condition and he wanted to die a fat happy man. With that, there's something to be said about frying everything and tossing it in various hot sauces. This location and I go way back so I might be rating based on sentimental value but I still crave those tenders tossed in the nuclear sauce with a side of fries and honey bees, hopefully it won't be MY last meal some day. ;)

This place is ok. Nothing special. Decent food, low prices. The store is kind of run down but if you don't like it Cluck U.

Mmmm...love their fried chicken. Honey Bees are awesome too. I'm not a "wrap" girl, but my husband loves them and gets one every time we're there. I've had the wings (they're huge), but breaded and kind of soggy. That's why I stick with the traditional fried chicken. The owner is always around and is a really nice guy. The workers there have always was courteous and patient while placing my order. They DO give military discounts if you ask. Like other reviewers stated, there are about 10 hot sauces (1 you have to sign a waiver to order) and different flavors like honey mustard, Old Bay, and teriyaki. The only negative thing I could possibly say about this location is that it always has this lingering public bathroom type smell. If they could get that under control, this place would definitely be 5 stars.

Fell off since they reopened from renovations in 2014. Chicken lacked flavor and biscuits didn't have the honey taste from past. I asked for honey on the side which practically was brown water. They have seemed to put costs over taste. I hope they get back to what made them great.

Since there has been a new owner this place has had a huge decline in service and food. My last order was incorrect (second time in as many orders since new owners and employees) and when I was eating my wings, which were dry, I found a hair in it. I used to frequently come to this location but don't think I'll be returning now.

I opened up their menu recently, and the first thing you see is "HEALTHIEST MENU IN TOWN!" I didn't know this Cluck U was located in Lardtown, USA. Granted, they are next door to a Long John Silvers, so I guess this is relatively healthy, but if you go to Cluck U to eat a salad, you're probably the type that goes to Fogo de Chao only to eat the salad bar, and we most likely can't be friends. Food - The wings are breaded and dunked in sauce. On the 10 or so occasions I've visited here (but who's counting?), the wings have had both a sizable girth and a good weight to them. It's been a while since I've done a wing review, but I like to break down the cost per wing. As usual, I'll do the wing math and you can copy off my answers: # of wings Price Unit Price (rounded) 5 $4.69 $0.94 10 $8.49 $0.85 15 $11.99 $0.80 20 $16.99 $0.85 30 $23.49 $0.78 50 $38.99 $0.78 You get 1 bleu cheese or ranch for every 10 wings (i.e., a major *whomp whomp* when you order 5). $0.50 if you want to split sauces. I usually stick with the BBQ sauces and Thermo BBQ is my favorite. The prices are far better than the Cluck U in Lanham, so when I get a craving for Cluck U, this is my go-to. The fried mushrooms ($3.99) are also very good. Location - Located in the same strip mall as Grace Garden and Bangkok Kitchen, bringing this tiny strip in Odenton into the conversation of Most Delicious Strip in MD. Handful of seats inside with 2 big screens, usually playing ESPN. There's a few parking spots out front or you can find a fairly spacious lot around back. The liquor store/bar on the end can get rowdy on weekends. Service - 10-15 minutes and your wings are ready. Good group of guys in my experience. So if you're in the mood for wings and you're near Odenton, CLUCK U!

When we were stationed at Ft Meade, I LOVED, LOVE this place. I still visit Cluck U when we go back to visit family and friends. When we move back there next year, you can bet I'll be placing an order there on a weekly basis. My friends that I used to work with, think I'm sick or on crack. One friend was like, don't eat there, they were cited for food poisoning! I said - bring it on!! The chicken wings are delicious, I always ordered the Atomic or Nuclear, pending on my mood. I swear the chicken wing pieces must be injected with steroids because they are quite large (well compared to the ones they serve in Hawaii) , and those honey bee's are the best greasy fried biscuits ever... And the best part is that they deliver!!!! I'm just glad I was blessed with great cholesterol genes. Hawaii needs a place like this!

This place is... EH! I've been wanting to try Cluck U chicken for a while. Not only did it not live up to the hype, I overpaid. I tried checking out the online menu, expecting to see prices for the food and combos that are offered. Turns out I had to call the store or visit them to get a different flyer with pricing information. That's just too much work. The chicken was just "okay" however I can say that the french fries were damn good! That I can't deny!

Right across from Ft Meade Army base. I've been here a couple of times for lunch. The place is clean enough. The service is above average. So far my favorite is the Old Bay wings. Very tasty and not messy at all. I recommend this place if you're in the area and have a taste for a variety of chicken. For you heat seekers they have their extra spicy flavor that requires a waver to order if you're into that sort of thing.

My first time ever having fried chicken smothered with honey, was here at Cluck U Chicken. I worked in the same complex as them so it was easy access. I dont come here often anymore since I work elsewhere. But when I did come here, I would either get their fried chicken with honey on top or their wings (Obviously). Caribbean Jerk. Honey BBQ. Atomic. Or Old Bay. Oh and the bread with honey! :O Everything I had here was great. Service was always good. Food was always good. 1 thing though... Do not get the wings with 911 sauce, unless you are ready to take on the challenge! Because if you're not then you will be in trouble! Better have a gallon of milk and a tub of ice ready! 1 bite will make you feel pain!

The wings were terrible. They tasted old and the sauce was just a cover up. There is also a funny smell in the restaurant when I went to pick up my food. I know it's close to base but it's just not worth the money or time.

Good wings. Nice people working there.

For any drunken night, i can see how this place would be a hit. Otherwise, i might consider someplace else if I craved some wings. When I went, I ordered a batch of wings and a fried chicken sandwich all to my self. The bread to the chicken was a bit stale. And for the buffalo wings, the sauce tasted standard - and the breading to the wings were a bit soggy (perhaps from being drenched in the sauce for too long? I only ate them 5 minutes after I ordered them).

The first time I went to Cluck-U I called in for an order and it was very simple. Even tho they were very busy, they were nice and fast with my order. I asked for a military discount, in which they gave me one when so many places don't. Once I picked up my order it was hot and ready for pick-up. The order was completely wrapped in plastic over the styrofoam box. As for the place, it was extremely clean and it had an wall of their menu item with pretty pictures. :) I like pictures of food, I will always know what to expect. The place is a big fry joint and the menu proves it. The pricing is nice. It's good to see that someone is not over charging for chicken wings. The wings them self's where not my favorite because they were breaded and smothered in sauce which makes them smooshy. I don't like eating chicken wings that taste like sponges filled with wing sauce. I know some people like that sort of thing and that's why I only went down to a three star. Everything else was great. Great customer service, good choices, good pricing, and even on a busy Friday night they got my order out in a timely manner. Worth a 5 star but taste broke it down to a 3. Maybe if they had the option for naked and breaded chicken wings I would change my review.

Definitely not worth it. The chicken was nasty, and the potato spuds were orange colored potatoes with no flavor. The ranch was warm, hope I dont get food poisoning.

My job moved me to Ft. Meade 2 years ago. I have been to Cluck U many times. I have never had a bad experience. I have tried several different things & have liked them all. I really like the chicken sandwich & the boneless wings. I will continue to be a repeat customer. Bonny

Are you guys that have left these re-views for real??? The chicken always tastes a little bit like cardboard. Holy crap the price is high. I would rather go to the gas station down the road for real chicken...... Delivery takes extra long, and the drivers are rude. Have fun.

The food is inconsistent. Sometimes it's good, but most of the time it's not. I've been to the actual store once, and was completely turned off by it. The bathroom is next to the counter where you pay and pick up your food. The whole place smelled like urine. I'll never order there again.

A really handy place to stop at in MD. Love getting the fried chicken drizzled in honey, but my gf isn't as big on the chicken, so I just get her an order of bees (instead of biscuits like every other fried chicken place, they have these little fried donut like balls - delicious). It's clean enough but not a real comfortable place to hang out and eat at, they do have tv's though.

If you need decent chicken wings, fast -- Cluck U is a chain that delivers, literally and metaphorically. They offer the standard array of tongue-torturing sauces and a bunch of non-spicy flavors, from barbecue to teriyaki. We find the 'atomic' and 'nuclear' buffalo styles to be our happy spectrum, the 'thermonuclear' sauce overwhelms the chicken. While their wings are not outstanding (need to go to the Anchor Bar up north for that!), they beat the local pizza chain offerings by a mile. They're consistently meaty and well cooked. Prices are very reasonable and coupons bring them down even more (check the website). Available sides are mediocre but generous.

If "Cluck University" was a real school, I'd probably be the dean. I do believe the wings and sauces have to grow on you-- everybody I've taken there hasn't really liked it at first, but end up loving it the second time around. Their sauces are unique and don't taste like the standard buffalo wing you can get at any sports bar, which is reason enough to at least give these guys a shot. I'd put these up right up against Anchor Bar any day, but they're both great in different ways, just depends on what flavor you feel like on a given day. Their Old Bay fries, when eaten in-store, are extremely hard to beat.

Honestly, I dont like their wings because they are breaded, but I can give this place 5 stars because of their Honey Bees alone! Theyre are that good. Honey Bees are these lil biscuits dropped in some glaze/sauce and they are uber good. Just writing about them makes me crave them.

At first I thought, $12 bucks for 10 pieces of boneless chicken wings was a bit steep--until I got home and opened the box. Those chicken wings were gianormous!! I got the thermo-nuclear flavor which is fairly hot. I could only finish like 4 pieces and I was full. So it's worth the money and very tasty too!
