Really surprised by this cute local spot. We were headed to Subway (directly across the street) when we saw this cute shop. We decided to check it out and before we got to the door the owner popped out and handed us the menu. Talk about a nice welcome. We loved everything about this place. The prices are great. The food even better and the service is awesome too! If you happen to be fishing or camping at Janes Island State Park like we were and aren't in the mood for crabs, definitely check them out.

I do not know how anyone can give this place a 2 star. In fact, I can't believe anything less than 4 star We arrive in time for the early bird special Two choices of main dish and two sides for $15.95. A real bargain!! Crab cake was excellent. Hubby had fried oysters. He said they were large and succulent. I had crab cake and tilapia pan fried. Just great Salads were cold and crisp. Service was beyond great. Fast and efficient. Just an great meal for a great price on early bird No doubt about it, we will be back next visit to Crisfield. .
small little place with a BIG HEART. the menu always changes so you never know what delicious treats you will find inside. Worth a stop in this quaint little town to find this spot of tasty paradise. Despite the cosy small exterior. . Inside feels roomy and comfortable. Great service and desserts are well worth it
I went here late one night after work. I was searching for some famous Maryland crab cakes, and this seemed like the place to get them! While the staff were friendly, the most memorable part of my experience is the fact that I paid about $30 for two very small, bland, and overall not-tasty lumps of fried crab meat and some filler. The potatoes and gravy on the side were tasty, as was a piece of cake I went back for (also very overpriced though!). My guess is that for a small town it's a nice casual-fine dining, but it's honestly not at all worth the price. (I later found some really delicious crab cakes in Baltimore at Captain James Crab House, though. Link: yelp.com/biz/captain-jam… )

We went to the National Blue Crab Derby (lots of fun!) and asked a local where to go to get a bite (in the air conditioning -- it was so hot!). He recommended Capt Tyler's. The place, inside at least, was low on ambiance -- basically a cinderblock building on the water. Nice views from the window, but mass produced prints of ugly crab paintings on the wall. The crabcake was outrageously good, but everything that came with it--from the bun to the coleslaw to the french fries to even the hush puppies-- was pretty bad. The hush puppies were over cooked from an odd tasting batter, we both only got 1/2 a pickle spear with our sandwiches and the pickles were warm (ick!), and the coleslaw tasted like the stuff they serve in school cafeteria lunches. They did have a HUGE selection of Smith Island cakes, but we didn't get any. The bathroom was not air conditioned, so going in there seriously felt like stepping into an oven.
Enjoyed a relaxing dinner with friends on the patio in August. Service was friendly and attentive. Jumbo lump crabcakes outstanding! Delicious steamed crabs kept coming. So nice to see another successful local family business. Worth the drive to Crisfield.
I expected much more. As a local put the food was "common." For a place on the water on the Eastern shore the seafood was horrible...

Do NOT go here. After drink orders came out wrong, 20 min later we got our crab lump soup which was way too much ole bay, thick & gelatinous w/next to none crab. Dinner arrived which was equally terrible. The surf and turf burger was on a stale pretzel roll, burger burnt & crab cake clearly out of a freezer. Scallops were chewy, broccoli squishy & dripping in liquid, & I had to spit out my Caesar salad b/c the dressing was oily & off the shelf from a grocery market with parmesan cheese that you find in a pizza restaurant. We had to get our own condiments from other tables (empty...should of been a sign), ask 3x for drinks. After an hour we finally got our last meal which we had to get to go b/c they brought the wrong one. I could keep going but not wasting anymore time on this place. Only got one star b/c it's required for me to post this review.
We had a wonderful lunch here. I should qualify that we were the only customers being that we visited off season, so we had the opportunity to get great service. The food was excellent. I had grilled salmon with a fresh salsa and grilled brussel sprouts. My hubby had a rockfish sandwich. The batter was light and the fish was fresh. Additionally we had hushpuppies and great cups of soup. I loved the funky decor!
Unlike Salty, I think the decor is very tacky and reminds me of some resort restaurant out of the 70's. I have ordered a few food items, burgers and crab balls. Both were very fresh and moderately priced. Tiki bar can be fun depending on when you go. One of the best places to drink outdoors in Crisfield since it's right on the water. There were no smoking signs posted but people clearly smoking at the bar, so if you are a non-smoker and this bothers you go elsewhere! One complaint is they close WAY to early. I think it's 9pm most nights.

We stop here several times a visit when we come to Crisfield. Good home cooking at very reasonable prices. Best breakfast and large portions. Service is great. Friendly and fast. I would definate recommend for breakfast or lunch. I've never been here for dinner, but I am sure it's good. Not fancy but a great meal.
The service was awful, the food could have been cooked by any second rate chef, and we waited 45 minutes for it.
Coffee was weak. Didn't try the food. Wifi worked well at DSL speeds.

I wanted to participate in the all you can eat crab and corn, but just got a dozen large males for carry out along with three corn and a couple mallets. It took about 15-20 minutes to get them steamed, and came out to a bit over $50. Medium seasoned with Old Bay, they were very well placed on a box with foil so car didn't get soiled. Half of the crabs were fat and the other were a bit on the light side. All in all, still very good!
Very disappointed. Have had okay service in the past, but this time our crabs arrived late and I have emailed the company 3 times with no response. Half the crabs were inedible and to have no response is very disheartening. Will not use use this company in the future.
Not sure why all of the bad reviews about this place. But it does seem most of them are orders that were shipped. Came here with 6 adults and 2 children. You order at the counter in another room and pay. Then they bring it out to you. The ayce crabs were only 30.00 and came with corn on the cob too. They were mediums and had plenty of meat. Others at the table had crab cake sandwiches and soft shelled crab sandwiches. Also a dozen large crabs. We were all pleased with our meals and would return.

I'm wondering why restaurants open up in this town offering the exact same menu items as others in such a small town. I know there are Cafe Milano locations in a few other Eastern Shore towns, all of which has poor to fair reviews on Yelp. Not sure if these are independently owned, but whoever is behind this needs to get their S**T together. I have been to this location a few times. The dining section is extremely dark and dreary. Would recommend getting to go if you really have to eat here. I got the cheesesteak sub on my last visit which tasted like it was made in a high school cafeteria. Have yet to try their pizza but probably won't. You'll find subs/sandwiches/pizzas here like every other restaurant of it's kind. There is really nothing special about this place at all.
