Great local food joint with weekly specials! Pizza is awesome and passes the fresh test... Pizza is not edible after 48 hours.

We have just moved from Pittsburgh, PA and had other pizza, but were looking for our pizza place. This is it. Great coupons, so we were able to try pizza and wings. We had a pepperoni pizza and Old Bay Seasoned wings. My love for Old Bay, just continue to grow! This is our pace!

As I love love love Gyro, I was looking for a new place to get gyro as well as write a review on yelp! So I crossed this location and figured to give them a try! I called in ahead for my Lamb Gyro it was $6.99 and add the fries for additional $1... When I arrived there after 10 min my Gyro was ready I paid $8.46 and got in my car to eat it! It was warm but only few gyro slices in it... Kinda disappointed! However the lettuce and tomato and sauce were tasty and fresh! I wished if they were more generous on adding more gyro slices in it rather than lettuce and tomatoes and sauce! I ordered Gyro on Pita not Salad on Pita!!!!! : * /

I keep on coming back on Mondays for their special and am trying other menu items as well. Just went there again tonight. The pepperoni pizza remains the best(it's the most populated), but the ground beef, sausage, and ham are good too. I have been trying random other menu items with the pizza and tonight, got the breadsticks. Not bad, but could use more seasoning or parm cheese on them, similar to little caesars. In the past few months I've also gotten the quesadilla's. They are great and are served with well-seasoned wedge fries (called Western Fries). I had a lamb quesadilla once (it is called steak, but they used Gyro meat), which I was not expecting, but it was awesome. Perhaps even better than the lamb Gyro I got there a few weeks ago. I've also had the fried zucchini...really good with the ranch dipping sauce. I plan to try the cheesesteaks, gravy fries, wings, and some of the Italian entrees. At one point that had specials on Italian Tuesdays, but not sure if they still do that. Just a note on the pizza...crust is super soft, has a sweet tomato sauce, and is sauced/cheesed like they do in NYC. I've been buying two pies to divide out as lunch for work. The pizza survives well in the fridge in aluminum foil for up to 4 days (I finish it by then). It also freezes well as I've saved pizza for as long as two weeks and once thawed out, warms up just fine. I've recommended this place to several coworkers who also live in Columbia and Laurel and they agreed with me that this place is good. Tho I'm moving further away, I will make an attempt to get pizza here whenever my family is in town and recommend it to those who live within reach of it.

I have lived in this area for 10 years and didn't know this place existed until I saw it on Yelp. Gave it a try for delivery last night. I ordered the x-large NY-style supreme and a side of wings. The delivery was extremely fast - the food was here in 20 minutes, and the driver was friendly and courteous. I've definitely had more authentic NY-style pizza in the area (I'm on a mission to find the closest I can!). The dough wasn't nearly crispy enough, and it was too thick to really be considered NY-style. With that bring said, it was a really tasty pizza with a nice mix of toppings and a flavorful, if a bit sweet, crust. The hot wings were excellent! There were 12 large and meaty wings in my order, along with celery and blue cheese. I've definitely not had any wings in this area that were nearly as meaty or well cooked. The sauce was tasty too, though not particularly hot. I'll definitely order from this place again.

Good food! They have a big salad, the Gourmet salad, with feta, walnuts, apples and other things that's very good. Their pizza is good. They deliver and I have never had to wait more than 40 minutes. If you get a slice in-house they have the Parmesan cheese and the garlic and oregano shakers so you can flavor your slice.

I used to live in Columbia prior to moving to Baltimore County. There's no less than 25 pizza places within a mile of our house in any give direction. I've tried a lot of them but tend to continue to frequent the big 3. I stopped by Roma's on the way home one day and couldn't believe how awesome their pizza was. I've been back probably 3 times since then as my family and I absolutely love it. Definitely a great change of pace if you continue to order from the big guys. You've got to try them if you haven't already.

Roma advertised - invited me to order online - took my money - refused to delivery what I paid for....Not nice - they got customers money - delivery not necessary

Just get the white pizza and call it a day....maybe add some black olives. It is fantastic and easily their best pizza on the menu. Their service is fast and they will sometimes call when they are close so I can just roll out and meet them at the door.

If you like local pizza places, you may like Roma's. I have been here a few times for pickup orders. Once I had a GroupOn and the most recent time I just wanted pizza and it was conveniently close. Ingredients seem fresh. Pizza was good with enough sauce, cheese ratio on a nicely baked crust. I keep thinkng I will get something elseother than pizza but I seem to change my mind and stick with just the pizza. I have seen complaints about coupon use lately from others who came in while I was waiting so that looks like a change is happening with coupons(not in the good way)

This place is really good! I am a Brooklyn native and I currently live in California. There are no good pizza places in Cali. When I was in town for a business meeting, I called them for delivery. It was as close to a Ny pizza, that I had available. I'm glad I chose this place and the delivery was pretty quick!

As a delivery store, Roma's is pretty good. Their food is tasty and they always get what we ordered right. We regularly order from Roma's, even more so now that we live right around the corner. As a pick-up store, Roma's leaves a little to be desired. It's not the staff, who are very friendly and helpful. It's the location, a "convenience" store that looks like a bodega. Seriously, they only have a few, dilapidated shelves stocked with the most random assortment of items that mostly look expired. Now, don't get me wrong... I don't go here for a convenience store. There's a Royal Farms just up the street from them for that. However, if you're going to have a pick-up/dine-in area, at least make it a little more comfortable. I swear, every time I go in there and walk past those shelves I feel like it's a front for selling drugs.

We have ordered from the Phelps Luck location a few times and it was pretty solid. We are new to the area and the pizza is better than most places. The crust is a fresh, hand tossed style that melts in your mouth. They are quick and friendly! Wish they would have pick up specials that don't require coupons like other places though.

They don't follow instructions well when you tell them how you want your order. I used to be a regular customer here but I will not order here again.

I've been a long time regular customer(at least 4-6 times a month) but no more. I called to order a deal from a coupon Roma's provided me with the last time I ordered ( about 3 weeks ago) and was told " we don't have that deal anymore" . There is no expiration date on the coupon. I asked to speak to the manager who kept telling me " we don't have that anymore" in spite of my pointing out I just got this coupon and with no exp date upon it. I then asked if the owner was there to speak to and was told " He isn't here today" I asked if he will be there tomorrow and was told " uh..... no he is on vacation" so I asked when will he return and the manager said "um in a month, maybe longer, you can't talk to him" I also asked for a email or phone number for the owner and was told "he doesn't have those" Clearly the manager does not want the owner to know what he is doing there, like having the company offer things at one price and then refusing to honor it. I'll be taking all my business elsewhere.

Review Revised 1/25/12 Subsequent orders have not benn very good. Flip a coin, you could get a good pizza or not Original Post Ordered a supreme pizza last night and it was the best pizza I've had in years. The crust was thin and fresh (NY style), the sauce was tasty, and the proportion of toppings and cheese was perfect (I hate it when some places use too much cheese). It was a little pricey ($21.41 carryout for the just the 16 inch pizza) but well worth it. Roma's is down the street from our house but we never considered trying it until it showed up on Groupon.

I typically prefer the local pizza shops to the chain pizza places. Roma's certainly fits the bill. Veggie toppings are always fresh, and there's always plenty of cheese. Good stuff!!

Placed an on-line order for this place a few weeks ago while at a local hotel....I figured there would be no mis-communication with an online order and no chance of it being wrong since I checked and re-checked everything before placing it...well I was WRONG. Somehow this place got my room number wrong even though it was all correct on my end. After an hour of waiting for my food (I hadn't eaten ALL day mind ya), I called the place and they inform me the driver knocked on the door, but no one answered. It was the wrong room! They presumably have my name and a contact phone number; you think the driver would use some common sense and check with the front desk! They send the driver back out and I finally receive my luke-warm food (But without the bottle of soda I ordered!) The food was OK, but the whole ordering/delivery experience pissed me off. This place gets two stars for being a bunch of idiots!

The pizza is definately good. I'm pretty picky about pizza and this is one of my favorites. I also love their Gyros, although the onions tend to be alittle more than what I Iike, overall they are really good. The hot wings are great too.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
