This past weekend was my first day visiting, I'll be coming back. I ordered the pastrami sandwich on a roll with french fries, and it was delicious. The meat was juicy and flavorful, and the fries were good (not soggy or burnt). I also ordered a cup of the creamed crab soup; that was alright. I enjoyed my main course best. My mom and husband both really enjoyed their meals, too, which included sandwiches with corned beef. Service was good. My order didn't take a decade to arrive at the table either. The ambiance is very basic but very clean. I think they're worth a visit.

Absolutely delicious!!! The chicken salad sandwich was HUGE and amazing. The owner carefully placed lettuce, tomato, onion with a huge amount of chicken salad! The crab soup was yummy! The corn beef special sandwich, the Dagwood was to die for! Again huge amount of food. The owner, whenever he finds a minute when not busy cooking, hangs out with customers joking around;)) super pleasant! Lee, his staff member was very nice too and accommodating!! We never felt so welcomed! It's nice to know that places that serve not only great quality food are also above and beyond pleasant!

What an awesome surprise - thanks Yelp - without it I never would have discovered it! Although there's not much atmosphere beyond a mostly-empty cooler and a non-functioning display case and a rather bare-bones strip-mall style, the pride that the owner (?) takes in preparing his corned beef is fantastic. I had the Rachel, piled high with meat and perfectly toasted rye with Russian dressing and fantastic cole slaw that he mixed by hand in front of us. Couldn't have felt more welcome, couldn't have been happier with the food!

I think this place deserves 5 stars because the sandwiches are so amazing. The staffs so nice. I never liked corned beef before trying it here. I love the sandwiches and soups here truly great place to eat great sandwiches and many more items.

Excellent corned beef, but the rye bread was not good. It tasted okay but it got soggy quickly. They need to upgrade the rye bread to get a 5th star from me. When I was downtown several weeks ago I had a corned beef sandwich at Atman's Deli, corned beef about the same, but the bread was significantly superior. Please upgrade your rye bread. P.S. Jason's rye bread is even worst.

Went yesterday for a breakfast sandwich as well as today! All I can say is Steven has earned a regular!! The bacon egg and cheese was awesome!! It's a shame not that many people come here for breakfast.. Don't know why they choose mcdonalds fake breakfast over a real one!! They're open really early as well!! The place is clean and feels cozy! Can't wait to try other things on the menu!

Roast Beef Sandwich....old and dried out. Chilli...Gave me the crab soup instead, small, I ordered large. The crab soup just came out of the fridge. They did not even heat it up!

This place was good. I'm not sure why other people keep referring to it was "a Jewish deli", when they clearly mix meat and cheese AND serve bacon., but whatever... I had a smoked turkey sandwich, which was stuffed full of meat, had just the right amount of mayo on it, and was served on some sorta delicious white bread. It seemed like maybe it had rosemary and dill in it. Their hot dogs are pretty large... Our nine-year-old could barely finish it... She said it was delicious, though. If you're in the area and want some good food for not much money, this is a good option.

I have been here twice. The first time was to use my Groupon deal and the second time my babe requested to eat here again. I had the "Rachel" and he had a Reuben. It was really good but it was a little pricey. We will go back again if there is another Groupon deal

The only reason I deducted a star was because of the prices, it's a tad bit overpriced for a sandwich but delicious nonetheless. I ordered delivery and the food was still great by the time it got to my house. "The Rachel" could possibly be the best sandwich I have ever had. My brother also enjoyed the pit beef (and he is a very picky eater). I will definitely be ordering from here again. Can't wait for the next time!

Does not hold a candle to Attman's. Lowish end bread. I would go to Jason's first, which, unlike Attman's, is not too far away.

This place has the best Corned Beef sandwich I can find in Maryland! I had a corned beef sandwich and was impressed with how much meat was on it! The service was great the guys there helped me pick out what i wanted and customized my order. The place is designed well and is clean! I decided to use them for 100 person party and was surprised how it turned out. Shrimp, crab balls, tenderloin and mini corned beef and turkey sandwiches were all amazing. needless to say all catering order through work are with the corned beef factory

Tried them for the first time today. Sandwich was delicious but pricey. 11$ and change for a pastrami sandwich (I asked for extra meat $2) wish I could leave 5 stars? But I can't, due to their prices:(

One day my husband suggested that we get lunch at The Corned Beef Factory and I thought that sounded like the most horrible idea ever. I loathe corned beef. After some coaxing and reassurance that they had more on their menu than just that, I somewhat reluctantly agreed and am glad I did. They make a mean turkey sandwich! I'm pretty boring so I mostly order the same thing every time I go, but I have never once been disappointed. Their soup is also good, especially the chicken noodle, which is very hearty with big penne noodles and pieces of chicken. They are a little on the pricier end, but they have been so consistent that I don't mind paying a little extra now and again. The staff has always been very friendly to me and remember me when I come in. As others have mentioned, there isn't much ambiance to the place, but it is clean so I consider that a win. I never sit down to eat in there anyway. I work in the area and brought back a menu to the office with me. Several of my coworkers have eaten there as well with similar good experiences. Is it supposed to be a Jewish deli? Who knows. Who cares. My sandwiches taste good and that's all that matters to me.

The first time I went to this place, it was a very good. I bought two Groupon's and went on two different occasions and it was good both times. A few months later I went back and I think this place went belly up. The original people that I noticed that were in the restaurant when it opened weren't there any longer, so I'm wondering if that had anything to do with the poor experiences I had after my initial Groupon deals that got me in the door. My wife was in the hospital at the time so I decided to pick up dinner for the entire family at the CBF and then head over to the hospital. After we got to the hospital and opened up their food, both the burger and the steak and cheese sub I ordered for my sons were both burned to the point that my sons wouldn't even eat the food. I called to complain and they did replace the meal the following day. A few weeks or a month later we tried it one more time and it just wasn't up to par like it was in the first weeks the restaurant opened. One other thing I like to point out about this restaurant which I just find to be very bad business practice ... the last two times we called in a carry out order, I'd arrive 15 to 20 minutes later and they hadn't even started cooking the food. Both times I'd show up at the restaurant and look at the grill and see nothing cooking and no food was ready for us. I'd ask the guy where our food was hoping that it was in the back or something. And he just mumbled that it would take a few minutes to put together. This happened on two successive occasions that we made a carry out order. Apparently they don't start putting your food together or start cooking anything until you show up through the door causing you to sit there and wait and waste another 20 minutes of your time. I don't understand this ridiculous business practice, and its enough for me to avoid this place which is unfortunate as its right down the street from my house. ps - re: the poster that said they make the best Reuben ever, please. Go up and get a Reuben at one of the good NYC deli's of at least Attman's downtown. CBF would be adequate if they didn't burn the food and refuse to start cooking your take out food until you arrived.

Stopped by for a quick lunch - decided on the Rueben and it certainly did not disappoint! The deli is simple and the menu is straight forward and easy to select from. The service was quick and the food was tasty - will be back!

Damn, I want to like this place. a good Jewish Deli, that just kept me wanting to come back. First of all it it am most umimpressive place. It has No ambience. Now the Towson deli, one of the blasts from the past had personality, this place has NONE. The folks who work there looked bored and unintersted especially the female worker I had today who chewed gum with a glum, disintersted, popping gum in my face, and her rescuer was a bit more pleasant. Then they had no freaking briscut. It was still cooking at 200. So I left. The four times I was there, I keep hoping I would have a pleasant experience. but it had been disappointing. The briscut, corned beef, burgers are all good, but the tuna fish always tastes old and fishy...nasty, and the chicken salad is watery, overly mayonaissed, and bland. Come on this is a deli! The worst is their rolled, slimy turkey. If it is deli, give me real non processed turkey. Folks from Timonium/Cockeysville do not need some fly by night amateur trying to build a business where he has been conspicuously absent. We need a real Jewish, deli in this area. Imitators should break their lease. We are a diverse community of all incomes and we will NOT accept mediocrity. Addendum. I went back to try again. There was a nice flowing crowd for a Sat but one guy taking all the orders and no body cooking. I was going to get my money back when 2 guys appeared out of the back. The cashier was somewhat vacuous and the steak sub was ok, but not worth the price. This place is doomed....probably why they don't have a permanent sign. I really wanted this place to work. It aint Attmans 11-27-2014 Tried this mess of a place again today. Called the place, guy answers the phone and I ask if he delivers and he says yes, and then when I give him the order, the ahole claims they are closed. This is the poorest excuse of a deli, I am sure they will be closed soon because people are on to their lack of customer services,

Best Reuben in Baltimore! They use REAL Russian dressing, not Thousand Island dressing. There is a difference! I hate Thousand Island dressing. The Reuben was bigger than my head and twice as beautiful! Onion rings are delicious as well and they give you enough for at least 2 people.

I love The Corned Beef Factory. I'll admit, I always order the extra lean. The Corned Beef is excellent as well as the Brisket. If you order the hot dog - beware - it is addictive!

No need to drive all the way downtown to get your corned beef on, since now there's this deli so close by, next to Fazzini's in the Cranbrook Shopping Center. The decor is nothing fancy, so plan on calling in for a takeout order. My hubby got a reuben, and I couldn't decide between the corned beef and pastrami, so I got "The Affair," which is a rendezvous of both meats, along with a slice of Swiss, sandwiched in between seeded rye. The meats are thinly sliced and melt-in-your-mouth tender, tasty and mildly spiced but not too salty, with juices that soak the bread, so have plenty of napkins on hand. We also got a "coddie" which is an appetizer of a fried cod fish cake -- I'd never had one before, and it was also delicious. Has the satisfying, ocean-y, seafood taste of a crab cake, but at a fraction of the cost. Maybe they should make coddie sliders! Definitely adding this joint to the takeout roster, for all those nights when I'm too busy to cook!

This is the best reuben I've ever had. Who cares what else they have.

Had an Eastern Ave. sandwich and my wife had a corned beef sandwich. The corned beef is great, while the pastrami is good. We ordered fries and got a huge basket for the price and were good. It's a little pricey and interior is plain. The rye bread was really fresh, almost too fresh if that's possible.

My husband and I love The Corned Beef Factory. They are always polite and courteous. The food is good, we just wish they still had mozzarella sticks. We frequent them at least once a week.

The Cranbrook Rd location is closed right now. I don't know what happened, but a few businesses right together are all closed.
