Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

If only I could put negative stars. Terrible customer service when THEY screw up your order! Took over an hour for our food that wasn't right and then took another 45 minutes for the fixed order and tried to charge us for the new sub! Called as after we didn't pay for the next sub and yelled at us for not paying. I guess there service is so bad that there begging for money. Sucks because they USED to be good

Ordered two cheese steaks @ 8:30, received one - called and got some story about how they only charged us for one. We paid in cash and paid the total bill plus tip, showed the driver the grub hub receipt when he came back to give us another sub. THEN - another person called looking for another payment for the sub we already paid for! Won't order from again! And neither will the 6 other people at the party we were having.

So the manager called me back and made right and gave me a pizza on the house. The girl that answered the phone was very apologetic. So they delivered the pizza and I must say it's was nothing short of spectacular. I would se finally go back for a pizza but for wings I think I'll find a new place for that. Thanks pizza palace for redeeming yourself and making your customers happy!

It's pizza places like this that have helped to divert my attention away from big pizza chain restaurants. Friendly staff, convenient location near home and delicious pies keep me coming back any time I'm in the mood. Plus, they're open until midnight so it is an ideal place to head to if one is looking for a late-night meal. There is just something about the pizza at this place that has me hooked. I might even say that it's the best pizza in Baltimore county that I've had (next to Fazzini's). The dough is thin-crust but the actual crust part is raised a little higher. This is due to the pans that they use, so the dough encompasses the entire inside and sides of the pan, making for this great crust. The sauce is lightly sweet mixed with savory. Ingredients are the same types of toppings you would find at any other pizza joint, but these are fresh quality toppings that you can taste. Throw a little parmesan cheese on top and you're loving life. Maybe it's just me, but I find their pizza to be absolutely delicious, and I am a big pizza connoisseur (yes, there is such a thing...at least now). Another item I love from this place is their chicken gyro. Moist, savory, sweet and fulfilling. If I'm not ordering a pie from Pizza Palace, I'm most certainly ordering a chicken gyro. If you prefer a standard gyro, those are equally delicious. 4 stars because the quality of food is great, but the prices can be a little steep for some quick take-out.

Back in the day (man I sound old!) me and my college buddies spent many an evening in the original Pizza Palace in Towson, so the Palace will always have a place in my heart. I have no idea if this iteration of PP is even remotely associated with the version from my college days, but it does have pretty good pizza. This Palace is a no-frills, order at the counter and have a seat in one of the handful of old school booths sorta place. They seem to do a better carry out business overall. It's not the cleanliest of places, and the weird window setup, with an interior plate of plexiglass with a gap at the bottom lets lots of dirt build up without giving ready access for cleaning... it shows! We've only had the pizza the few times we've eaten here, and it's of the thin crust variety, with a nice selection of toppings from which to choose. Prices are fine, service is fine, pizza is fine. Nothing to write home about, but it sure was a better option for us than the Ledo's up the road, where a bunch o' yutes (My Cousin Vinnie homage) were running the place so very poorly that we walked out before the wait staff came to serve us. Looking around at the unhappy faces of other customers there on the way out made us very glad we left! The carry out orders seemed to feature a lot of subs, so perhaps we'll try those next time around. If we don't like them we'll break them into crumbs and deposit them between the windows and plexiglass!

Unfortunately, my family doesn't want to eat the pizza again. The sauce is rather sweet and not savory. That they deliver beer and wine is awesome, but my family hates the food, so, won't be getting it from here anymore. They were nice, though.

I love this place when I need to grab a bite on the way home. The staff is very friendly and the food is really great. If you don't mind the seedy rather dated facility its one of the better places to get a bite late at night. They're open till midnight and sell beer and wine, which is a pleasant addition considering that you cant get beer and wine at supermarkets or gas stations stores in MD. I have also used their delivery service. They have always been fast. No complaints here.

These people know how to run a pizza business! They have the best food in town! I order from them very regularly and their food is always delicious and very fresh! I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good customer service, delicious, reasonably priced and delicious food! Thanks pizza palace for the great food and beer delivery lol!

The cheesesteak sub was terrible. It took forever for them to deliver the food and when it got here we were missing an entire sub. When we called they argued with us and said we never ordered the sub and when they finally agreed to bring us the sub back they asked us to pay for it. It was ridiculous and they had a terrible attitude.

Me and my friend ordered a lamb gyro, 8" cheesesteak, fried shrimp platter, and appetizer combo after a heavy night of drinking. Needless to say we were ready to smash some junk food. The gyro was terrible and contains not much meat at all same with the cheesesteak. The fries tasted like they were old. The appetizer combo was OK same with the fried shrimp but how can you go wrong frying food. I would not recommend this place unless you're really drunk or if you want to throw money away. What's really disappointing though was the amount of meat they put in their gyro and cheesesteak. This may be a trend and how they are able to survive. I don't believe any high reviews for this place at all!

staff are absolutely super duper nice and friendly, I tried their pizza it was nothing but perfection and freshness, the owner gave me a rice pudding on the house and they made it fresh right in there, not super sweet just right on!! also i realized they deliver BEER and WINE!! highly recommended, nice job Pizza Palace :)))

Pizza is great, delivery is prompt, and the Greek salad is fantastic. The crust, cheese and toppings on the pizza are top notch

(11/15/2014) Someone brought an extra large pepperoni and mushroom pie to a potluck dinner at church. Crust was rolled, flat to the edges, sauce was pretty much tomato straight out of the can (but thankfully not sweet). Cheese was low on milk solids, mostly oil, mushrooms canned. Would say it suffices for large gatherings and teenagers.

My husband and my new favourite place for carryout. I have yet to find something that Pizza Palace does wrong. Unless of course you like your gyro soggy with cucumber sauce, you wont find that here. Their pizza is great. Even their fried chicken is good. I've tried ordering many different things just to see if I could trip them up, nope. I havent found an item on their menu yet t hat I havent loved.

Having been in Baltimore for quite sometime now I wanted to update my review... The PRO's -fast delivery -several options on the menu -white pizza is OK - quick service for pick-up -parking lot The CON's -the crust is tasteless -pizzas are small -other menu items outside of pizza do not taste very fresh -eating their pizza always makes my face feel oily and gross Overall, I used to be a fan, but my opinion has changed. I guess if you're drunk and in need of pizza it is OK, but if you want really good pizza this is not where you should go. Baltimore County though pizza-wise is slim pickens!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
