Service- ok, friendly Cleanliness: poor (walls, floors and tables need cleaned) Food: tastes good and good portions. Seating: 3 booths and two tables available. I wouldn't eat in the restaurant but takeout and delivery are ok.

I am not a huge Chinese food eater, but this place is right up the street from me and the food is always good. Highlights- the fried chicken wings are awesome, the garlic shrimp is one of my favs as well. They are always fast and the food is always consistent.

These folks used to be my favorite. I haven't been there for a while now, and after this visit, I won't be going back. For starters, the place was filthy. Food everywhere and just a gross film of dirt on every surface in the table area. We got our food for carryout. Then we got home and we threw most of it away. The shrimp toast had zero shrimp. They used some type of bad fish instead and it was gross. It was like a white paste with a fish taste. The house lo mein was devoid of any flavor besides salt. The boneless ribs had no flavor and were chewy. The broccoli chicken was actually okay, but not enough to salvage the idea of ever going back there. Save your money and avoid this place.

Good food @ an excellent value. Lunch special is 6$. I usually get schezuan or Hunan chicken. The egg drop soup is good too. They are very fast and the food is consistent.

Had a craving for Wonton soup and went here. The soup itself was very bland; the wonton was pretty flavorful though. Probably won't go there again for the soup if I'm not extremely pressed.

This place is great. I disagree with the negative reviews which may have happened by chance. My fiancee and I eat here about once or twice per week. We have never once had a bad experience with the food. Portions are large and always good quality. We will continue to patronize this place if they keep up the great work.

Found small pieces of black metal objects in my food... almost looked as chipped away wok... won't be ordering from this place ever again!

Previous review: "I'm not sure why this place has gotten so many negative reviews, because my fiance and I agree that this is the best place to get Chinese takeout. I love the crab rangoon and that they DON'T cook their food in the way that some other places do, where it's sweeter (not a fan). I actually prefer them to Jesse Wong, which is close by in Hunt Valley. It's great take out at a cheap price! Also, my fiance picked it up last time, and said that they renovated the inside, and that it's less "take out" looking, and nicer for people that want to sit down and eat." Also, to the other reviewer who complained about not being offered sauces, every sauce, napkin, fortune cookie, etc is, and has been for as long as I can remember (so certainly last year when the review was written) in a BIG CONTAINER on the counter next to the register. You know... like most carryout places.

The "meat" in hot and sour soup was not meat. It's questionable if it was even edible. Very gamey - Im scared to know what it actually was. The general tso chicken was soggy and cold. And To top it off, there were bones in my vegetable lo mein. Just awful.

Ordered Beef and Snow-Peas. Was good: not too salty and their "small" $6 option was plenty for me for dinner (I was hungry too, i'm 6' 160lbs). Their service is not amazing, but the food was fine. They assume take-out, so if you're eating in you may want to specify.

Not sure what the problem is with the other reviewers and the General Tso. It's my favorite place to get General tso. It's always nice and crispy. It's spicy and delicious. I have never had a bad experience with it.

They should change the name to Worst Choice. It is a shame, since this place is very close to my home, and there aren't too many nearby. I've given them more then one chance, and they were consistently awful. My son ordered the General Tso's on the last outing and said it didn't taste all that good. I forked a piece in half, and lets just say I sincerely doubt that greysish rubbery matter was chicken. If it was, it was most likely grateful to have been slaughtered. The egg foo young tasted like it was nuked in a dirty microwave.

General Tso's was bland and tasteless. Got takeout and they didn't include any mustard or duck sauce or napkins. Very disappointing experience. Probably will not order from here again.

I ordered the Szechuan Chicken lunch special. It was quite tasty and very reasonably priced. That being said, it was overloaded with veggies (Carrots, Celery, Brocoli, Sweet Peas, Onions, Baby Corn, Water Chestnuts, Bamboo Shoots), which didn't leave a ton of room for actual chicken.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
