Pizza 500 Menu

Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

It's simple: they're the closest pizza place to Clarksburg Village residents, they're customer service is also great. And it's pizza. If you live in CV, just drive for 5 min and pick it up yourself. It's a decent local business

I have had this pizza approximately 5 times, and it was pretty good. Close and convenient is mostly why I chose it. But Today, November 20, 2013 at 7:15 pm, I will never have pizza delivered EVER AGAIN! When the pizza finally arrived 50 minutes later, it was so disheveled, it looked like the 17 year old delivery boy shook it 15 times, went by two of his friends homes (pizza was luke warm) and brought it to me. Oh wait, I am not done. So, when I called the store to file a complaint, the 15 year old supposedly manager, attempted to explain it away. How can you do that when you haven't even spoken to the boy? THEN, to make matters even worse, the manager told me he would give me 10% off, and redeliver me a fresh pizza. LIke I really want another pizza after I filed a complaint. He said he couldn't give me the 25% employee discount, because I wasn't an employee DAAAAA !! Papa John's here I come!

This place is garbage , avoid at all costs. I ordered a small pizza it tasted like school lunch and was horrible quality. Once I was finished eating half off pizza I had horrible stomach pains and went straight to the bathroom because the pain was so unbearable. I do not recommended, horrible food and over priced for what it is , they should have charged me $3 for that trash

What happened to this place? Growing/new management pains? This used to be a good grab a quick sub or pizza, but now? Pizza bland, subs not made to order. I hope this changes soon!

  • Lisa K.

If this was 1 year ago, the stars would be 4-5. The best thing I had on the menu was the wings, they were meaty, flavor choices were good, and not too expensive. Pizza was eh, thin crust was too thick and was forgettable. But the last few times I have gone, it seems like management has changed. Quality of wings seems to have decreased, more fat less meat than what it used to be. Pizza tastes like heated frozen pizza. Guess budget cuts lead to quality cut, but it definitely shows. No other choices in Clarksburg for pizza delivery, though it may be worth it to just drive out 5 minutes for Papa Johns.

  • Jack S.

went here last night, noticed that the cheese on the pizza kinda tasted like it did when they first opened which i wasn't crazy about, whatever you changed in the past few weeks you need to go back.

Good pizza. It's the small things I guess that make this pizza a standout. The crust is perfectly sized and consistent - which makes me wonder if it's package crust. No matter it is tasty. The toppings are put on evenly. I'm not OCD or anything.. well not about food, but it just shows extra care in making the thing. It's also the small things that ding it. The steak and cheese falls short. I ordered in once and it took about 45 minutes to get the sandwich. They seem to have forgotten about my order even though I was the only person in-store waiting. They asked me if I ordered pizza. I said no, they seemed to realize their mistake and hurriedly made me a sub. It wasn't that good, overly salty. This should be your goto pizza joint.. if you ever find yourself in Clarksburg.

  • Jesse V.

Pretty good steak and cheese, pizza is decent, and a bonus is they sell it by the slice. They have garlic knots which are pretty delicious. Passable, don't go out of your way for it though.

Family-run pizzeria that also sells calzones, wings, subs, and sodas- all you need in one place! Got a pizza here recently- the sizes are true to size (aka you order a medium and actually GET a medium), sauce is pretty good, and crust is mediocre. I definitely craved Domino's pizza crusts after eating the bleh crust. However, since this is pretty much the only pizzeria around Clarksburg (besides Germantown), Pizza 500 is one of the easiest place to get a fast lunch.

  • Sangster L.

Pizza has very good crust, a bit salty sauce. if you ask to go easy on the sauce, it should be good. reason I gave 3 stars/5 is because the guy didn't wear gloves on when he made the pizza, just use bare hands. I usually don't mind people make food with bare hands but he did that right after moving stuff around, getting money from customers etc. which I made me a bit icky. Other than that, it was good pizza.

I've been ordering/visiting Pizza 500 since I moved to the area two years ago, and was never disappointed. Fast delivery times, quality food, and the management/delivery people were always super nice. Since the new management recently took over I am 100% never ordering from them again, which is sad since I always enjoyed supporting a local small business. I called and placed the same delivery order I've been getting every time I get food from Pizza 500, and was told that I couldn't get it delivered since it was below there $20+ delivery charge. (Sidenote: Who orders more than $20 at a pizza place whose largest pizza is less than $15?) I politely asked the man who answered the phone if that was a new policy since I hadn't heard about that before, and had never had issues with my delivery order. He basically ignored my question and told me I'd have to buy soda or wings or something else in order to get my food delivered. I again asked if that was a new policy (I thought maybe he was a new employee or something). He then introduced himself as the owner (new owner, I guess), and super rudely told me that it would take too long and cost too much money to get my food delivered if it was less than a $20 order. I live within a five-minute drive from Pizza 500, if that, but have two small children and literally always get food delivered when it's take-out so I don't have to haul the kids into the car. I told him if that was their new policy, okay - I understood, but I think I'd just place an order somewhere else since I didn't want soda or anything other than a medium pizza. He just hung up on me after that. Nice customer service, there. I never thought I'd ever leave a comment on yelp but just wanted to join the chorus of people who have already down voted their new management in hopes that they clean up their act. Very, VERY sad - I used to love this place :(

ehh.. did ownership/ management change here recently? It was not what it used to be and I probably will not be returning. I work in the area and our company orders from here ALL the time. I have since told them to go elsewhere... The sub was not warm and did not taste the same as it used to.

  • Ryan B.

Great pizza by the slice is perfect for lunch. But best of all is their customer service. They are always ready to serve you which is hard to find now a days.

Lunch order was ready and waiting when I got there. Great pizza. Love having a local shop.

  • Sebastian F.

There's bad pizza and then there's terrible pizza. Wow this pizza was terrible! It tasted like an 18" frozen pizza from Walmart. The cheese is flavorless and sauce completely forgetful. It's sad that this is the only local pizzeria but thank God others deliver to Clarksburg. You want cheap flavorless pizza, this is your place. You real pizza look elsewhere.

Amer, the manager here, was a great help in supporting LBES in donating pizza for an event we are having in May. He was extremely generous and supportive. I look forward to working with him in the future!

I visited pizza 500 again today and I'm really in love with their pizza. The reason I gave it a 4 the first time is because It was my first time and usually I need to go to the same place a few times before I can decide on my final rating. Now that I've been more than once I give this place 5! Really great pizza and the service is still extremely friendly!

  • J C.

Wasn't that impressed with the quality of the food. The pizza was bland. The sauce, cheese and bread lacked flavor. We took a bite and we were immediately disappointed. We also got the wings and it honestly tasted like wings that I would be getting from the frozen section from the grocery store. And to top it off, it was pretty pricey. The people who worked there was friendly though.

  • River G.

Skip the Philly cheese steak. The mystery meat was scary. It looked like roast beef. I'm not sure what it was. Aren't the onions suppose to be sautéed? The pizza was average. Will not be going back. I'll stick with milanos.

There are only a few places that do thin crust right, and this place has AMAZING thin crust!!!! There buffalo bread sticks are great, soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Service was awesome, friendly staff, and I will definitely be coming back soon... Maybe tomorrow ;)

I absolutely love this place!! It definitely serves some of the best pizza in town and has excellent customer service. I would recommend Pizza 500 to everyone who lives in the area!!

Been in the store a few times and got delivery for the first time this week. Pizza was on time and very good. I got the thin crust which is the closest I can get to NY style delivery around here. Flavor was very good, toppings were great, and the owner/manager has been friendly the few times I've been in the store. That makes a big difference. I went in just to buy dough one time and they were very accommodating even though it isn't a normal menu item. I also tried the wings and ordered them extra crispy. I thought they'd be baked wings based on the menu listing, but they looked like normal fried wings to me and were very good. The extra crispy was just right. Well cooked, not a lot of fat. I'm not sure if they really cooked them long or that's just how they always come out, but these were good. I got the "extreme heat" sauce which was perfect. It wasn't extreme heat in any way, just what normal "hot" should be for buffalo wings but rarely is. (so don't shy away from it thinking it is some inedible nuclear creation) Good place. I liked it. Kids liked it. Wife liked it. Will order again!

I was shocked to see negative reviews for Pizza500. I'm a huge fan of their regular cheese pizza. It's fresh, kids like it, and has a great flavor. I think they make the crust in house & use quality cheeses. Plus $14.00 for an xl is a deal. I'm not sure about the other items on the menu, but when I want pizza, this is the place and they deliver to Damascus!

NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY! As you walk in the store they have a big sign that says "NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS (Insurance Reasons)." This rude note pretty much set the tone for my whole experience. Due to power outage in Germantown, I had to cart my toddler and baby into their store to get some dinner. Despite wait time for food and plenty of space in front of store, they have no chairs or stools for waiting customers. STRIKE 1 After ordering sandwiches for the adults, I asked my three year old what he wanted? He said, "Pizza." When I asked if he could get a slice, I was informed that they stop serving slices after 4PM. So, I had to order a whole small pizza for a kid who only eats three bites. STRIKE 2 Finally, because they had nowhere to for us to sit, I told them I was parked RIGHT OUT FRONT and asked if they could run bring the food out to the car since I had a baby. The person said yes and then I even gave him a tip for the help. 15-20 minutes later after noticing multiple new customers walking out with their pizzas, I finally went back into the store and asked how my food was coming along? The same slack-ass pizza boy(black hair, tribal earrings) who took my order then wondered in back and returned to rudely toss my food at me. STRIKE 3 Got home in about 7-8 minutes and the pizza was already cold. Small hoagie, small cheese steak, cold 10' pizza and two drinks + Bad Attitude =$28 plus tip. The only good thing was that the Italian sub was tasty. This store is in need of a COMPLETE CUSTOMER SERVICE MAKE-OVER. In any case, I won't be back!

The pizza and calzones are OK if you are in a bind or don't want to drive down to Germantown. Also very expensive for what you get, two large pizzas with a few toppings will run you close to $40. The staff inside is young and polite, sometimes the owner is there and he is a nice guy. Delivery is fast. Like others have said, the quality of the pizza is inconsistent. I've had great pizza when the owner is in there and sub-par chewy dough with cold sauce on it other nights. If you are in Clarksburg and want good delivery, call Milanos in Germantown. They will deliver provided that the order is over $20...and its worth the wait.

Quick delivery and always friendly service.

  • Lynn F.

Consistently inconsistent quality. Have had some great food from this place, have had some really, truly nasty stuff too. We've had pizza that was barely cooked, raw-ish dough and barely melted cheese. We've also had perfectly light & crisp crust with great toppings. When it's good, it's good, but when it's bad...it's really bad. Have a friend who calls it "Pizza 50 bucks" since it can be expensive, too. YMMV.

  • Melanie K.

I really like the owner--he's been super friendly every time I've ordered pizza. I will say that the white pizza was quite dry, but the regular cheese and pepperoni and sausage were delish.

I really hate it when a good place goes bad, and I fear that's the case with Pizza 500. When I first moved to the area, this was the closest place to grab a convenient bite to eat. I wasn't looking for something mind-blowing - just a decent sub or pizza and decent service; and that's usually what I got. Plus I wanted to support local business. With a million pizza chains in the area, it's nice to help the small business owner who employed so many young people in the area. But I can't support a business that obviously isn't taking customer input seriously. After receiving a sandwich that was not made to my request (I verbally confirmed everything before placing the order), I checked Yelp and was able to confirm Pizza 500 has indeed changed hands. Furthermore, the problems - and apologies - started back in late summer/early fall. It's now December. You can't continue to fall on the excuse of being under new management - the problems are now your own and you need to seriously address them. I did call and speak to an employee who offered to make me a new sub, but I declined (it was dark and rainy - no point in sending people - myself/their driver - out into bad weather for a sandwich), but instead suggested they get their act together. In the meantime, Clarksburg has gotten more restaurants, ready to pick up the slack Pizza 500 is leaving. Such a shame.

I have been ordering from Pizza 500 for 3 years, up until a few weeks ago. I will never order from them again, and also hope you do not as well. I ordered a pizza, salad , and Soda. Once we started to eat I started chocking on what I thought was bacon from the salad. It was a very sharp piece of plastic. Once calling and speaking to the owner, It was as nothing had happened. I had to ask for a refund for the salad. The pizza has also changed, I'm not sure if there is new management, but this place has gone down hill! More importantly, I could not believe how insensitive the owner was. I actually had a small cut in the back of my throat from the piece of plastic or whatever the sharp object was. Please check your food carefully if you decided to continue to order from them.

This is my go-to pizza joint. Unfortunately, I live beyond the radius of their delivery zone, but when I'm in the area I stop in when I'm feening for a slice. I've been here a handful of times (once before the new management took over, and 3 or 4 times afterwards). In my opinion, the food has gotten better since the new owners took over, and the service is 10x better! One time the cashier forgot to give me my change ($1.45), which I was going to leave as tip anyway. As I was backing my car out of the lot, the cashier practically chased my car down to give me my change. I insisted he keep it but the thought was much appreciated. Nothing like a honest local business. Now the pizza - I personally like the level of sweetness that goes into the sauce. I always say, a good sauce makes a good pizza. There's a slight sweetness to it that you cannot get at those big chain pizza restaurants. You just have to try it to know what I'm saying.

Wish I could give them a zero. They r high priced average quality they have communication problems with phone ordering . They also think that ROAST BEEF is STEAK So when u order steak n cheese. Expect Roast beef. The owner is convinced that is what a American STEAK n cheese is. I ordered. This and took a bite and told them they gave me some other person's food. That was when I was informed about the roast beef. It is there impression of steak n cheese. They need to tell people they dont have steak n cheese subs. They are intentionally misleading people (committing advertisement fraud Big time) you CANT say YOU HAVE SOMETHING WHEN YOU DONT to the public. But they can and. They are still doing it. I went there In January 2015. To date they still sell steak n cheese. Subs. With the neat being roasted beef. The should start selling hamburger subs. Then they could give potted meat. Delivery driving also stole my snow shovel I told them as he was digging his car out of snow after a terrible pizza delivery they never returned my shovel that cost me $40 at home depot. I had just purchased when I moved in my first home, it was January 2015. Terrible service. And they always forgot items don't bring them all sorts of problems. Don't eat there. Drivers. Don't ever have chaos you have to give them big tip. Sneaky practice t to cheat customer some more. hope they get fined. CRAZY HOW you think other places use roast beef AND say it's STEAK. N CHEESE. EVEN. THE SUBWAY SHOP KNOWS THE DIFFERENCE. DONT BE RIDICULOUS. GO NEXT ASK FOR A STEAK N CHEESE. THEN ASK FIR ROAST BEEF SUB THEY ARE TWO SEPARATE THINGS. WHERE ARE YOU FROM.

So since my last review we have tried Pizza 500 2 more times and some friends also ordered from there. Just disgusting. The "steak and cheese" is made from some sort of grayish slimy meat, not even sure what it is. When our friends ordered they spend over $50 on pizza and subs. They ended up throwing it all out after one bite, it was inedible. I'm not sure how this place is still in business. Please don't waste your money. Hopefully they will go out of business soon so a decent delivery place can take their place. Such a disappointment.
