Spotlessly clean and staffed by cheery and competent young bakers, Fields of Heather is a must stop location if you are a pastry aficionado. I highly recommend the unique cinnamon raspberry twist. Don't drive through the Kent Narrows area without stopping at this absolute gem.

Great bakery and breakfast spot. We stopped on our way to the beach and avoided all the fast food joints. Tasty breakfast sandwiches and really good coffee.

Don't be fooled by almost passing this place by as its in a small outdoor strip but the coffee and pastries are so delicious fresh and lovely. I picked three thinking I will eat 2 in the week later and ate them all in one go.

Best bakery on Kent island. We have had many cakes made there and they are always delicious and perfectly created. They have amazing breakfast choices, I often have a hard time making up my mind. However that's ok because their staff is super friendly and helpful. If you haven't been, you should make it a point to stop in.

Heather did an amazing job with our wedding cake. It tasted delicious (I wish we could have had more on our wedding day. Some guests went back for 3rds -- that's how good it was), plus the cake was done beautifully. We were really happy -- in fact, our cake was one of the highlights of my wedding day!. We used Fields of Heather for our wedding cake in September 2013. For a tasting, Heather gave us so many flavor combinations it was hard to choose from. Snickerdoodle? Apple Cider? Chocolate Guinness!? Too many choices! She had us come in to taste four 6" mini cakes after we narrowed it down to four flavors. The leftovers were ours to take back and reaffirm our choice with friends/family. More cake to take home with us?! Yes, please! She never questioned our various requests and didn't bat an eye when we asked to change the cake from one flavor to two a couple weeks before the wedding. The end result was a beautiful cake that tasted amazing. We had flavors for a cake no one else is likely to repeat and our guests are still talking about it! Use Fields of Heather for your bakery needs. You will have no regrets.
