I was greeted by the manager at the door who opened it for me. I sat at the bar. There was no one there on a Tuesday night. I had great service. Food was decent. Staff was very friendly. I have nothing bad to say about this place. No complaints. I had a great experience there.

I will preface this by saying the two stars are solely based on the service, not the food. The food was excellent as always. Upon arriving, I was halfway greeted by a host who seemed really inconvenienced that there were 2 parties waiting to be seated. Keep in mind that this is a Tuesday night after a major snowstorm; the place was less than half full. I was seated in a booth behind what appeared to be 6 half-drunk cougars. They were about as loud as you would imagine. But that's really neither here nor there. What bothered me is that I sat there for 10 minutes with no less than 3 staff members who walked by me and looked at me as if I had a lobster tattooed on my forehead. No bread, no water, and most importantly, no beer. I decided I had had enough and was going to go to Texas Roadhouse right down the road. Enter Stephanie, the manager. As I was leaving, the two giggly schoolgirl-like hosts looked at me funny, so I decided that I should talk to the manager. After all, if they don't know about their problems, they can't rightfully fix them, can they? I told Stephanie about my displeasure and she asked for me to stay and she would personally take care of me. I agreed only on the condition that I be seated as far away from the laughing cougars as possible, which she happily arranged. Stephanie took great care of me. And like I said, the steak was great. She comped me a beer, which I didn't ask for, but appreciated the gesture. For what it's worth, I overheard the guy next to me say "the service here is really slow", so I guess it wasn't just me. Oh, and that same table was having a field day with the laughing cougars too. They really were THAT loud.

Stopped in on a Saturday at about 5:20 for dinner and this was our second visit. Although the parking lot was full there were still plenty of tables available and we were seated immediately. Then we were ignored. It took about 20 minutes to have our drink order taken; two glasses of water and a red wine. Then only one water arrived and only after we gave the waiter the evil eye as he served everyone else in the area. The Waiter eventually brought a basket of bread but no plates. Ten minutes later we flagged him down and asked for plates. In general the place is dirty. And not fresh dirt, but long term dirt. The menus had dried spinach on them. The lamp shade in our booth had splatters of some sort of sauce. The floor had not been vacuumed in some time, and all sorts of napkins and paper littered the floor, which the servers knowingly walked around and avoided picking up. The bathroom floor was nasty and made my shoes sticky. There was no toilet paper in the ladies room. It's also pretty obvious the wait staff is young and untrained which is not unexpected when it comes to southern Maryland chain restaurants. The food was just ok; steaks were done correctly but swimming in butter. I think you can cover up a lot of flaws with butter. The wine was a tad expensive for the size of the glass and the brand (Mondavi). On the plus side, once the food arrived our waiter did check up on us and did re-fill the water glasses. Overall, this place is only ok. For the value I'm not sure I'd go back. The question you need to ask is "Do I want to spend $55-$60 on dinner for two with bad service in a dirty restaurant serving what is basically institutional food?" I don't. If you don't and want a better experience for the same price with much better service, head north 1/2 mile to Lenny's. You'll be glad you did.

Great food, to bad the bartender lady was definitely the worst I've ever seen. After waiting fifteen minutes to order our drinks and food in a near completely empty restaurant, we waited another 15 to get our check after we were 100% done. She talked to the other servers there pretty much the whole time we were there. The guy next to us ordered calamari and had to wait 11 minutes for her to bring him a fork after the cooks brought his food out. The food was great, but I've had better service from comcast techs over the phone. If you're ever gonna eat here, just get takeout. No wonder the place was empty.

The Worst Service ever ! I was here last week and thought maybe it was just the waitress we had, Wrong, went back for a late lunch on Monday with my sister and it was even worse. The food was great, that's the only reason I went back so soon. But like the last 3 times I've been there, the waitresses and waiter disappear and don't return. I had to ask for bread, my water was empty for most of my dinner. There were customers waiting to be seated with no hostess available. I could maybe see this if they were busy, but only 3 or 4 tables had people at them, now I know why. Come on Longhorn, check out the reviews and TRAIN your people or REPLACE them. now I know why family members said for my husbands birthday to go anyplace but Longhorn, they are TOO SLOW!

Didn't even stay to eat. Dining room was half empty and we still had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Then, when we were seated, NO ONE waited on our table. Servers just walked by and stated at us. After waiting another 10 minutes, we left. Only as we were leaving did the manager stop by

I was a fan of Long Horn back in Pgh; the place there was always jumping and the food was perfect no matter if it was served immediately to the table or after a 15 minute ride home. When LH came to LexPark, I was so excited I could barely stand it! We went for the first time a few weeks ago. I had just spent almost twelve hours at work and I didn't want to sit in another food joint for a moment longer, so we ambled up to the bar and put in a to-go order. The bartender was AWESOME. I wish I remembered her name. She made a mean Margarita that knocked my socks off and made someone who usually doesn't drink alcohol order two different Mojitos because they were so good. She was extremely personable and had a fantastic smile. She kept abreast of our order and gave us a good time frame so we didn't order a drink just before our food was ready. The take home was pretty good. I asked for a med-rare steak, but it could've classified as a Blue Steak by how rare it was. I prefer rare, but I always order Med-Rare as it usually comes out perfect...but I actually had to throw it under the broiler for a few minutes to finish cooking the steak as it felt like I was eating a completely raw piece of meat. The rest of the take out was awesome. The Shrimp and Lobster Chowder was to die for as well as the Broccoli and Cheese soup. The Cheese stuffed mushrooms were under done (stuffing was cold in the center and the mushrooms were still opaque white in the middle) but once again, a trip through the broiler brought them to perfect temp. The other appetizer, the Loaded Fries, were superb even after a quick heat in the Microwave. The other two steaks which were prepared Medium to Medium Well were perfectly done. All of the steak fixings were tasty and delicious. The second time, it was a complete 180. Once again, the bartender was fantastic; she had a fantastic personality and knew her alcohols. The food was horrible. My steak was chewy and way over done (Med-rare became Med-Well), the fries were cold and the cheese on top was a congealed mess. Both soups were cold and oily. The best part? I grabbed the food and left as I was tired and I just wanted to go home and eat. I didn't check the boxes, which is my fault entierely. I got home and I was missing two full entrees including sides, and an appetizer. I went back with all the containers and showed the bad/missing food. The manager yelled at the bartender saying it was all her fault. I explained that I was in the wrong for not checking before I left. He gave me new food and a card for two free apps and two drinks. I felt bad for the bartender as it was their expo who bagged the food and not her. The food wasn't much better the second time around, but it was edible. I would avoid going to this place anywhere near an hour to an hour and a half before closing. I know a few other people who go here on a more regular basis say the same thing; they don't go there unless it's at least 2 to 2 1/2 hours until close because the kitchen seems to go downhill the closer it gets to closing. Other than that, I'd use this place as a good sit down and I'd only do take out if it's a very small order.

Completely disappointed in the food we were served and the service we recwived. Steaks were overcooked (asked for med rare and got med well) on two of the three ordered. Waited over thirty minutes from our salads until the steaks arrived. Server said she would talk to the manager and she came back and said she couldn't find him..... no wonder the place is in a total state of disorder! Not a fan of this Longhorn anymore.

This location exceeded my expectations! Since they just opened up on the 14th, I figured they would still be fairly immature with speed and quality of service...but when I went for lunch only six days after the initial open, I was delightfully surprised at my experience. The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. We were seated immediately and served in the same fashion. I had the filet and lobster...I can say with confidence that the filet was one of the best I have ever had; it almost quite literally "melted" in my mouth. And it was cooked perfectly. The lobster was absolutely delicious and cooked equally as well. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful, and the manager voluntarily came to our table simply to check if the food was to our liking. They really seem to know what they're doing here. Great service, great food!

Good value. I like the sirloin steak with a side for 9.99. The bartenders are all friendly and helpful. I get good service at the bar counter every time.

Horrible bar tender couldn't even remember the salad with dinner bar top was a mess. Service was terrible lobster was undercooked. Will not return and will not recommend to business associates.

We came with nine people, waited 15 mins for drinks and after about 40 minutes of our waitress ignoring us and counting her tips we had to ask her to take our order. After a few more minutes of watching her count the rest of her tips, we asked for the manager and politely left. On a good note for the manager, he told us to not worry about the checks and have a nice night.

This place needs to learn how to prepare a steak to the customer's desires. This was our first trip to the new Longhorn in Lexington Park for some good steak, well Nancy's steak arrived Medium rare when it should have been Medium well done. She had sent it back twice and still was not to her liking. The manager did take the steak off the bill so they tried to make it right. Perhaps next time we'll have better luck.

Ok, i understand we came in at the last minute..however, does that mean you slack on service? the waitress did not ask me to cut into my steak to make sure it was cooked right, THEN i had to have them take it back 3 TIMES when all i wanted was a medium well steak. Sad to say, i will NOT come back to this location. On top of that, i did their survey and asked for management to contact me..Well, i did not receive a call back. Hmmmm

ate here tonight. it wasn't busy so we expected quick service. we were wrong. the manager got our drink order because our server was MIA right off the bat! The food was good and I didn't hear any complaints from my friend except when they were waiting on drinks. The server was nice and had a great smile. Prices were reasonable as well.

For awhile this place was our favorite place to dine. My wife and I have been to this location about 10 times and probably 7 of those times there has been something wrong with the order or something wrong with the food. If it wasn't for the manager fixing our problems I don't think we would of visited so much. The latest visit was disappointing and I think we will be searching for a new place to dine when we decide to go out,, after we use our last gift card.

Looking for a great dining experience? This is it! Walking through the door we were greeted with a friendly smile. After a very short wait we were brought to a clean booth and introduced to our server. She took very good care of us while we were there. Paying close attention to our every need. The appetizer were tasty and drinks were fantastic! Our main course was brought very quickly and the food was hot and presented very well. Prices were very good. Our entire experience was great! Keep up the great service and super menu and you'll be around for a long time.

My poor server has what looks like 4 tables on the right side of the restaurant where there are 12 regular sized booths, one/maybe two large booths, and 5 tables (3 that seat 6 and 2 that seat 4). No she's not the only server working and yes I'm just sitting here, so I have time to count the tables in view. By the way, I don't even know my server's name. As a customer I am frustrated because it took me 15 minutes just to get water and an additional 5 minutes to place my order and receive bread. By this time I'd changed my mind 5 times on what I was going to order. When she took my order, I gave her entree and dessert because I was afraid she wasn't going to come back soon. I'm sitting here with bread and water by the way as I type this and I have yet to receive anything ..... Done with this review, looking for a manager ... He/she should hear the rest .... Unbelievable

I'm glad we weren't there when it was busy otherwise we would still be waiting. The food was marginal at best. The wait staff had plenty of time to stand around and visit. While we ate our dinner at least 2 people got up from the bar and left because of no service. Our drinks stayed on empty most of the visit!!! Access to the restaurant is horrible not worth the trouble for the poor quality of food and service!!

We like to go there with my son on Saturday for lunch. Usually it's very good. The previous time we had some issues with kitchen. My son's mashed potatoes was cold and they took it back and bring new .Then he found some plastic peace in it. We show it to manager and she took care of bill from my son's bill. And we returned in couple of weeks and everything was great . Food ,service and etc.

It has a very nice interior. Tho the food is not that tasty. I got Napa Grilled Chicken but I dont taste any grill on it nor flavor tho i like the sourness. I ordered mash potato but I got green beans tho as a complementary, they gave me mash potato on the side. My friend ordered soup and salad. The salad has too much of a dressing.

This location has some bad reviews based on service , but we had Great service .Came for a friends birthday so we had a party of 12 and our server was awesome. She was on top of our needs including helping calm down my friends daughter who was 2 and had a nasty fall. Now, the food was so good. Better than any other chain steak place I've been. My mouth is watering thinking about the Cowboy Ribeye I got . Wish the deft beer selection was a little better but over all I will be back !

Disappointing at best. Please read the other reviews that have been posted, they pretty much summed up my visit. I will add.... don't waste your money on the over priced steaks, at least not until they provide a product that justifies the cost.

So we went here with a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids). They started off well and took the kid orders quickly because they were hungry and we wanted to look at the menu. I'll say that it seemed a smidge long for the food to come out but I wasn't timing it or anything. Kid food came out. Cheeseburgers and by request added grilled onions. I had a bite and they were pretty tasty. We had the "porterhouse for 2", a big ol' porterhouse with 2 salads and 2 sides for $40. The salads were fine (just normal salads). We ordered the steak medium-rare but it came out well-done. I hated bringing it up and wasting about 2 lbs of meat but it was bad. They apologized and brought out another one that was cooked perfect. A couple people came out to apologize (including the manager). They offered us a free dessert for our troubles and so we got the chocolate stampede (pretty darn good). All-in-all we were pleased. Everyone was nice, food was good, price was reasonable. I just hope they don't fall into the Southern Maryland trap: after the luster of the new opening is over, the service gets worse.

I ordered the fish with shrimp & lobster and their apple dumpling dessert. The ice cream was good but all the rest tasted like it went straight from the freezer to the microwave. It did not taste fresh at all and was tough from being 'nuked' at the wrong power.

Good food but the parking sucks. Parking spaces are 7 foot wide and if it's for compact cars, they aren't labeled so the compact cars park in the bigger spots, if your going here, drive a small car and call ahead because the wait is usually long. Other than that it's usually pretty good food. the shrimp appetizer is not worth it, some shrimp have barely any taste then others are nothing but salt, very inconsistent.

Very good. We've eaten there several times and never had any complaints. Excellent Mac and cheese.
