Not a fan. Be sure to check that your combo sushi roll "specials" are actually cheaper than ordering rolls individually. Unless you get the most expensive rolls, you'll be paying more. I was met with rude glares when I pointed this out. If you're just looking for Chinese takeout, Hunan Garden around the corner is sooooooo much better, cheaper too. We now go to Blue Fish for sushi, they are awesome!

Very convenient to us. The food is good, but some dishes remind me of food court at the mall. My biggest gripe is that the girls up front are so unfriendly, I wonder if they work there under their own free will! God forbid they make an error or omission on your order and call you back, you'd think it was your fault. Please, when I dump $40 or $50 on carry out look me in the eye and fake a smile! Better yet, take some cues from OC Ricehouse.

Great sushi at reasonable prices. Chinese food is also tasty. Good, not great, atmosphere. Wait staff is average. Convenient for Ocean Pines residents.

This is our FAVORITE restaurant. The owners love kids and the food is excellent. This is kinda a hole in the wall restaurant that has excellent sushi and Chinese food. The servers are excellent too! This is a locals favorite.

Definitely the best (and one of the few) eat-in Asian/Chinese restaurants in all of Delmarva. We went to try this place out after seeing what other Yelpers wrote, and we were not disappointed. Delicious Chinese food (unfortunately did not try the sushi this time...) at good prices. Very nice atmosphere, service, and presentation. One criticism -- please get rid of the plasma screen TV! One note if you're trying to find the place: Don't look for "Ho Feng Garden". Rather, it has a big sign saying "Asian Cuisine" on its store front... kinda hard to find "Ho Feng" until you actually get into restaurant.

I fell in love with the food and atmosphere since they opened. Consistently great food, friendly staff, nice, clean atmosphere. Great Kung Pao Chicken, miso soup, and rolls. Anytime I have a special request they are very nice and accommodating. No complaints at all.

This place has got to have had some of the best service I've ever received. We called ahead because we couldn't find the place, and the woman was so helpful in giving directions and providing landmarks..we probably could have had her pick us up. The wait staff was on point, filling my water the moment it was empty (I drink continuously so this amounted to like 4 or 5 refills), bringing the food promptly just the way we asked for it, bringing hand wipes (we got ribs) and then OPENING them when she saw the ribs were done. I mean, we eat a lot of sushi and initially went here for sushi but didn't get any, and the service has never been better anywhere else where we come from (massachusetts). Now, let me also be clear and say that I don't typically eat "chinese food", like general tso's or fried rice or spare ribs, but something definitely seemed less greasy and a little lighter than your average chinese food place, so I appreciate that. The food was great, but the point of me signing up for yelp to make this review is really for the service! We will be going back today or tomorrow for a second round and if their sushi is as good as the rest of their food and service they will have some real fans from MA!

This is my go to place at least once a month. They have excellent sushi and the seaweed salad is amazing. It's in a great location in Ocean Pines and easy to get to . My family loves the shrimp fried rice it's definitely worth every penny.

Called in carry out order. When it was picked up, containers were leaking. Bag was soaked on bottom. Returned to store, food was repacked. Driving 20 minutes to home, restaurant called and items were missing from order. Turned around, it is now over an hour since original call. Asked for partial refund for time and trouble, told to forget it. Will not return, no customer service or loyalty. Food is mediocre.

We stopped here on the way to Assateague. It is in the same shopping center as the food lion. And it says Asian cuisine, not name of restaurant when we were looking to find this place. We made it before lunch special ended and ordered the specials: kung pao chicken, Hunan chicken and general tso chicken. The chicken in the non fried dishes tasted "chicken-y". The rice was a bit on soggy side. I am disappointed at my fellow yelpers on this one. Skip and try something else. Chinese/Japanese cuisine should have been a clue....

We had a very pleasant time at this restaurant. We actually used the yelp reviews before going here so that is why I am now reviewing. The food here is very tasty and is great quality. The staff is super friendly and the service is very good. Only bad thing about this, is the directions on here are wrong. The restaurant is in the same Plaza as the "Food lion" grocery store.. The directions here take you to another Plaza across the street.

The wife and I have been coming here regularly for just about a year now. What makes Ho Feng special? In a word: quality. I truly have not been to a better Chinese restaurant. In almost a year, I cannot recall having a single meal that was not delicious. For me, the stand outs include: - Hot & Sour Soup: Both "hot", "sour", and unique from any other that I have had. - Mongolian Beef: Unlike many restaurants, Ho Feng serves this a tad spicy. If you enjoy spicy foods, you may not notice immediately; however, it builds over time. Excellent! Despite the above, every single dish that I have had here has been excellent. The above two happen to be distinctive to Ho Fen. Highly recommend. Personal wish: Sunday afternoon dim sum cart. Ho Feng offers many typical dim sum items on the appetizer menu. If they pulled in enough business, a dim sum cart would be out of this world.

Christmas in July may be the saying...Christmas in June is what we had!! When you first are seated, you are brought out some fried won tons and duck sauce to dip in...interesting little appetizer. The won tons are served in a square plastic bowl with Christmas trees and Santa Claus on all four sides! As the dining room got busy, we noticed that Ho Feng must have happened upon a great deal on this plasticware as everyone received the same bowls for their free won tons. Smiles all around!! This nicely decorated space in the food roar plaza actually serves up some yummy looking sushi and tasty chinese food! very friendly servers! They also seem to do a huge to-go business. The combination plates are a nice deal that you can even order for dinner for the same price as regular dinners. Combos come with a choice of pork fried rice or steamed rice and an egg roll. When your check comes, they bring each diner three pieces of refrigerated canned pineapple and a fortune cookie. Be sure to check out the humongous fish swimming in the tank in the front of the restaurant.

I like the takeout here, I give it a A++, It is always tasty and made well. I worked around the corner for years, and I have munched out on Lunch Specials. However, I gotta say, each time I have eaten in; It has been gross as gross gets... cooked improperly, soapy/dirty glasses... Just kinda nasty. I have had such good luck with their takeout, I keep going back and getting burned. I know this redneck family, that swears by their Sushi, So, I went back and tried the Sushi... unacceptable. Stick to the takeout.

Really tasty Chinese-American grub. Menu is pretty large and prices are not as cheap as other area Chinese restaurants BUT I think it's worth the slightly higher price because the quality of the food is good. I looove the fact that they use chicken breasts for their General Tso's chicken and, according to my daughter, their Sesame Seed chicken as well. I haven't tried their sushi yet but a friend raved about it so I guess it's good too. Recommend!

I didn't expect to get great Chinese Food, in Ocean City, but this place is great! It is a Chinese Restaurant with a small sushi bar as you walk in. It looked like a pretty cool place to hangout, and had a pretty nice atmosphere. I didn't dine in or get any sushi, but I was watching the sushi chef make some rolls while I was waiting for my food, and the presentation looked great. The chef had a lot of seasonal menu specials, and daily specials for the sushi, which looked good. I ordered my standard, Egg Roll's , General Tso's Chicken, House Special Fried Rice, and Hot and Sour Soup, and it all tasted great. The food is not real greasy like other Chinese restaurants. The General Tso's was cooked in a different sauce than I am used to , had more of a sweet orange/Garlic flavor, and the texture was also a little different. I think they used chicken breast, instead of thighs, which I liked. The Fried Rice, was also prepared a little different, it looked as if they wok fried the chicken, shrimp, vegetables, separately and then added steamed rice, leaving a less oily product... It tasted clean and good. I will definitely come back to try the sushi, and order more Chinese food.

Here on vacation from California trying out Asian restaurants. The menu had a really variety of dishes ranging from Chinese to Japanese food. The food was okay but definitely not the greatest. The roast pork appetizer was very dry and almost hard like chips so don't order that. Besides that everything was good.

This place seems to have gotten better over time. When I first went here a couple years back I was not impressed with the Chinese or the sushi. Having gone back several times recently I must admit they are doing both pretty well. The hot and sour soup is a bit different than other restaurants but no two places make it the same anyways. The wonton "nachos" are a bonus if you eat in. Most improved is the sushi. I don't know if they got a new chef or what but the sushi has been outstanding and the presentations are quite artistic. We used to the loyal to OC Wasabi but lately we have been splitting our sushi time between the two.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
